I went through SKRules list of completed auctions. Only a few of those actually resulted in sales. And of those, only two were for Schechter cases, and both of those had the same seller. So - I found the guy, or rather, the business that sold your "friend" the case and guitar. It's musicfactorydirect2010 and you can contact them directly through ebay. Your friend would have purchase either this case or this case, for reference.
Hope you can get a hold of them and let them know about the screwup. Glad you've got that screen cap to back you up. They may not care enough to take back that guitar, but at least you'll have done the right thing.
Hi, I'm a fishkeeper who has driftwood in his aquariums. If you were willing to go get a truck you can sort through the driftwood for interestingly gnarled pieces and sell them on ebay or elsewhere. They are nearly ideal for the fishkeeping hobby. (Look for the more solid pieces. Harder wood lasts better than softer wood.)
There's actually two main sites many fishkeepers use for driftwood:
Here's a list of recent completed auctions on eBay for electric guitar cases in North America ~$100. There are only 340, so I'd look through them and see if the seller included the guitar in the picture and try to find a matching one.
Apparently you can buy a human liver for 20 bucks?
You should consider adding Oracle to your collection. She was Batgirl, but then the Joker shot her in the spine and paralyzed her. But she came back as Oracle and was much cooler than when she was Batgirl. Being a comic book character, it would probably be easy to find an action figure.
HAY GUYS I found Super Mario Land for $3. Can you believe all the idiots still waiting for the game to come out just so they can pay $40 for it? I can't wait to get home and play this on my 3DS!
Here are a few games from my childhood that I can remember off-hand. I hope this list helps you. The best place you can look for titles like these is either on Ebay, Amazon or at a garage sale.
List of titles you shouldn't miss out on:
Pokemon Gold or Pokemon Silver - My personal favourite in the series
Warioland 3,
The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX,
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages,
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons,
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe,
Metal Gear Solid,
Tetris DX,
Donkey Kong Country,
Mario Tennis,
Bionic Commando: Elite Forces,
Tomb Raider,
Crystalis.
Okay, which redditor just started this ebay account?
and listed this....
edit: and another different seller... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-used-socks-Size-13-foot-Used-during-Camping-and-BackPacking-/110743146166?pt=US_Men_s_Socks&hash=item19c8ce4eb6
I know the HAM types are going to hate me for this, so please sell the equipment you use for less than the purchase price to someone who will use it properly when you are done :)
Specific instructions:
Buy any SSB transmitter (SSB is a type of AM transmission). No reason to go with CB as it's power limited and therefore is difficult to find high power equipment for. A 10 meter transmitter would be ideal.
Here's one on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/10-METER-BLUE-FREQUENCY-NUMBER/dp/B001JSYHBU
Buy a matching power amp (10 meter wavelength, AKA HF), as large as you can find. Here are some listings on ebay, starting at around 120 bucks for a worthwhile unit. The legal limit in the US is 1500w, so thats the highest you can likely buy.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Radios-CB-Ham-Shortwave-/1500/i.html?_nkw=hf+amplifier
Antenna, I suggest a loaded coil vertical for 10 meter (could be hundreds of dollars) as this will be the most compact short of a dummy load (which may or may not work for our purposes). This will likely be branded as a mobile model. Otherwise, learn how to string a horizontal dipole, this will cost less than $50.
Tone generator can probably be replaced by a laptop or ipod with samples at different frequencies. You'll need to get an adapter to plug your radio into your laptop or ipod. You'll also want a choke on the line between the receiver and source, as well as some sort of shielding for the laptop from the antenna.
All these pieces simply plug into each other. The signal source connects to the transmitter, the transmitter connects to the amp, the amp connects to the antenna. You may need various adapters and cables depending on the equipment you choose.
That. Is. Awesome.
Did it come with the component out cable? If not, I have one that I no longer use.
edit: Holy shit!
Yup. Here's the full selection...
Apparently, they sell a lot of novelties.
Screenshot of a auction of a drawing of an HP Touchpad
it's so meta now.
Of course, The blades are very cheap. 100 of the at ebay for 20 dollars. I made a video for you showing how you can change blades.

The artist is Adrian Chesterman, this is from his "Lands Before Time" series. This piece is titled "Imperial Dynasty" according to this ebay auction which includes two more of the plates that are also pretty rad:

Is the Egyptian one featuring a... Tri-pharoah-tops? :D
Here it is on Ebay for only $1200. Is this now officially the worst Verizon launch?
I only drink 22 year old bottles of Crystal Pepsi.
That is because you are buying a new, sealed copy. Here is the cartridge only, $10 shipped. and Here is a complete, box and manual one, for $20
For some reason, this made me laugh. I think it's imagining the woman on top of those feet.
If you file that under the right category some die-hard collector is going to see that and want it really bad, because he'll be the only one who has it.
With some luck, a handful of collectors will see it and they'll all want it and will start a bidding war over it.
Make sure you take good photos of it under decent lighting and from a few different vantage points. Get close ups of important details on the label.
Make sure they know you're not selling a "tin bank," you've got an unopened can that still has the pasta in it!
Tell the backstory of exactly how it came to be in your possession.
Ruger 10/22 is the go to gun. It will kill any animal you want to hunt and scare the hell out of anyone trying to cause you trouble. Cheap to shoot and easy to modify the crap out of. You can turn it into almost anything. It's easy to break down for cleaning. It's dependable and with a custom stock, very light. Anyone can shoot one. Beware of the huge magazines they sell for these weapons. The lips on the 50rd drums and bananas tend to wear out rather quickly leading to frequent jams. The stock 10 round mag should be plenty of bullets for anything you are hunting anyway, if you don't get it on the first shot, you are wasting ammo. Get a few extra clips and an army surplus first aid kit belt pouch to hold them. The sky is the limit on the modifications, look online and you will see what I mean, its endless. Get an auto resetting target and muck run. Learn how to shoot. You can store a hella pile of ammo in an army surplus .30 cal ammo box.
People love the IBM XT keyboard. There's no shame in using one.
As long as the mouse is optical, corded is fine, too.
Wow, how times have changed. A couple of years ago, some scumbag was stealing my photos off of flickr, printing them, and selling them on ebay. I reached out to reddit at the time and the only response was someone accusing me of stealing my own photos to generate some business. Oh well...
They're still at it by the way, but they seem to stay clear of my photos. It's kind of amazing to me that someone can have a business lifting photos off of the internet, printing them, and selling them, without getting taken down. It's certainly rewarding for me, having been through theft of my work, to see people join together to go after thieves like this (like the recent, and very funny, Cooks Choice incident).
It is likely the flashrom (Wide chip) is not encrypted at all. With a flashrom programmer/dumper you should be able to read it.
Most likely, the flash chip is a JEDEC Flash. Standard pinout, standard readers. Lookup the number on the chip and see if it is a JEDEC flash.
Edit:
A device like this^[citation_needed] should do the job. Ask a friend doing a CS major/Electrical engineering, they have this kind of devices.
Found the datasheet.
Not a JEDEC flash, but still a plain old parallel NAND flash. It should be easy to dump. (2x1GB chips. 2Gb flash drive)
Some more info. 1
a quick ebay search didn't come up with any pinworms or pinworm eggs for sale, per se; there was, however, a bait kit amidst the results. perhaps you stick the bait in the preferred orifice and then wade around in a pond or a swamp (those seem like the kind of places parasites would hang out, right?) for a while...
if you already have anal worms though, i imagine it wouldn't be too hard to coerce them into making the move. with girls the trip ain't that far. guys, on the other hand, have that huge obstacle in the way. it's like the oregon trail for them. so, before you go to bed just pull your scrote to the side and tape the head of your dick to your taint. you'll really wanna make it as easy for them as possible so pull foreskin back if applicable and maybe try to tape it so the uretha is open and inviting. maybe even throw some signs up advertising some move-in specials and how its a better neighborhood for raising those kids in to really entice them.
i'm in no way an expert on this subject but i hope that helps you in your endeavors.
Did anyone else get lost the in Civilization 2 manual?
The D620 is/was a great computer. I have one, and it has survived for 5 years now without anything having to be replaced beyond the battery. :>
Indeed it is the computer I type this on. It enables me to surf the web, edit images, write documents, and program. If this is not a loss, then what is? :(
EDIT: One got sold for parts for 46 dollars minutes ago. It is a pity, I think, that some people consider this pocket change: Link
Cheaper version: Hypercolor shirt + polyfil + sewing machine.
Easy as pie, and probably $80 cheaper than that one, if you have a sewing machine.
I bought it on eBay. There is a person in Scotland that makes them.

If an Elmo doesn't come through, you might consider a Lumens Document Camera-found one here for $79.99. It works just like an Elmo only it doesn't have the white base.
Or you might consider getting an IPEVO Ziggi USB Document Camera. It is a document camera like the Elmo, but is under $100. The main drawbacks are that it doesn't have the built in light like an Elmo & you have to connect to the a projector through a computer as opposed to being able to connect it directly to the projector like you can with an Elmo & the Lumens.
Why would you buy one from this place? Higos are only made one of two places: in Miki by Nagao, the descendant of the original smith, or the ones called Higinaifu, made by a company headed by a smith who used to work for the original guys. These are meant to be low-priced working-class carpenter's knives... Rather than spend $60 on a cheap imitation, buy a Higonaifu (because they are better and more-consistently made than the originals) here for $25 ($33 shipped to US) or here for $12-$28 (+$3 shipping).
That looks terrifying.
For around the same money you can get a proper 2-post lift.
Usually they do and it's the best feeling ever! Sometimes they don't and it's the most awkward feeling ever...
I got the dresses from the woman that runs the company, but she gets them online. The Snow White and Ariel dress you see are Disney brand and they are huge! They say one size fits all but the tags say size 12-14. I'm a size 2-4. I had to add hooks and strings in the back just to make them sort of fit...
The Belle dress and Rapunzel dress (the yellow and purple ones) are custom made by someone on ebay.
Her page is here but apparently she isn't selling anything right now.
Check ebay. They only need one note for each year, and maybe they picked years/currencies that were very cheap, considering it was only going to be in the movie for five seconds. I looked at one of them at random, one is for about $11 and another is on there for $2.50.
best one so far. The best
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you will never have Get Behind Me Satan. It's my favorite one, I haven't bought any because I know I will never be able to get all (not that I would buy Icky Thump anyway, but thats a discussion for another day.) Vinyl copy of GBMS is extremly rare and goes for over $1000 sometimes.
I highly recommend one.
Many people complain that they are only useful for OG calculations. They can actually provide accurate readings for FG as well, provided you use an alcohol correction factor. Refractometers work by measuring light as it passes across the refraction index of water and is bent accordingly. Dissolved sugar increases the refraction index, which causes the light coming into the refractometer to bend more than it normally would, which shifts the point at which it illuminates the scale.
Original gravity will be very accurate by this method, but since alcohol also increases refraction index, it causes FG readings to appear to be higher than they really are. This can be overcome with a correction factor, which uses a combination of your original gravity and your final gravity reading to calculate the real final gravity. Morebeer has a spreadsheet you can use for this, which makes the process fairly simple.
I actually view this "downside" as a positive thing, because if you ever forget to take an original gravity reading, you can just take two final gravity readings (one with hydrometer, one with refractometer) and use the spreadsheet to calculate your original gravity and alcohol content purely from the finished beer.
Here's the refractometer I bought. From what I can tell it's the same model you see at homebrew stores for $60+. Its definitely a high quality device, and comes in a nice padded case with eyedropper, calibration screwdriver and non-abrasive wipe.
OP here. The tank in question is for sale on eBay. I am tempted, but... nah. Still, very neat.
Yeah that's actually super cheap for a font. This one is $825
This has got to be retrospective...
Edit: Holy Crap, it isn't.
Not a bad deal when considering the alternative.
It looks like Humpty Dumpty from Alice in Wonderland.
Edit : It's Humpty Dumpty and you were able to get these from gumball vending machines. see this ebay auction
What is your current style?
If you are not slim with a slight fit build, you will not fill this jacket out well. They come very untailored (the jacket in the picture is pinned back like clothing on a store mannequin), so you would have to dish out the money to tailor it.
This isn't a t-shirt kind of jacket, either. You will need to wear it with at LEAST a well fitting collared shirt. A tie would be preferable with this.
Finally, if you aren't wearing nice jeans/pants, you will look like garbage in this jacket. It is SLIM fit, which means baggy lightwash Wranglers from Walmart are not going to mesh well. You should be wearing 511's or 514's at the least, preferably higher priced selvedge jeans. Also consider producer pants from Express.
With all that being said, this is the exact jacket you are looking for. Mind my advice, however. Return shipping to South Korea is going to be about the same as the price of the jacket. You will lose money, no matter what, if you do not like the fit/style of this jacket.
You can buy this identical product on ebay for 99 cents free shipping. That's what I did awhile ago.
FTDI chip based solutions shouldn't be too hard to find. eBay seems to list couple of different FT232-based adapters from several vendors. eg this seems okayish.
[](/hmmm)Lets take a look at the ebay page. [](/sp)[](/joy) Current bid $10.50 [](/sp)[](/pinkiefear)Time left: 9d 21h
Dead serious. This one sold just yesterday. And another recent one.
I should probably change that price range to $150-$250 though since it had been a couple months since I looked and the completed listings on ebay now seem to be around that price range.
Is this ok? They're reprints of actual autographs. Still pretty cool though. My favorite movie ever, lol. Awesome gift idea!
It can be yours for the low, low starting bid of just US$3000!
... God that thing is awesome
Oh, and add to that...
The Apple IIe came out in 1983. This bear's tags (and mine) clearly state 1975. :) So now you know.
Dude... this is the one:
USA made, $400, hard case. This is a stunning guitar. If I had $400 and looking for a tele I wouldn't think twice. You could buy it and sell it tomorrow for $500 no probs.
honestly... this is ridiculous for the price.
Flame maple neck? Flame maple top? Damn....
A big thing to note with BGS grading is how ungodly rare 10s are. A majority of cards printed and opened fresh from boosters do not even meet the criteria for 10.
And their 9.5 Lotus looks like a bargain.
there were some auctions from blizzard in the last 2 weeks. shame on me i didn't know anything about it..but i think it was US only and I'm from germany :(
But I found one on ebay.com:
Currently only $676... I hope he gets more because some of those albums tend go for nearly $100 on their own. That and it must be painful as hell to have to sell a Pollard collection, especially one so complete.
Also it's puts in perspective to see how many albums that man has made. It's nearly insane, other than a few Tobin Sprout and Doug Gillard things he's got in there, every one of those discs is a RObert Pollard project. That man. Don't stop now.

OP, is this where you got the poster? If so, how's the quality? I'd like to get one of these and get it framed.
You can DIY a fix for around $30. Plenty of videos on youtube to help you out. Speaking from experience, if you're the least bit capaable with your hands, you can handle replacing the glass on your D'Inc.
EDIT: Tip ...before you start dismantling, put some duct tape on the broken glass so you don't end up with shards and chips all over the place from popping it out.
It's not old. It was released a few months ago as a "vintage collection".
You can buy one for $16.27
You might see people listing them on ebay for over $1,000, but the ones that actually get sold are generally in the $200-$500 range.
Pro tip: Pay no attention to asking prices on ebay; pay attention only to prices on completed sales.
Painting, drawing, and sewing ponies can makes lots and lots of money for artists. On DeviantArt, people get paid to do commissions for other people. There were several handmade pony plushies that sold on Ebay over the past few months for thousands of dollars.
EDIT: I'll see if I can find that screenshot of the plushie.
EDIT: Fluttershy Plushie and Luna Plushie

My bike used to be an MSF course bike. The stalling issue is caused by the rubber coupling holding the air intake to the carb. Look at that picture, and you'll see the carb is just "dangling" there by it's intake manifold. Good stuff.
The fix? Das Boot. This one part fixes 99% of the Blast's engine difficulties. Why they don't sell it this way stock is beyond me. It's a stainless band around the entire coupling. The old one would crack (without rotting) and you'd get all sorts of stupid symptoms. Since I've installed this - smooth as silk.
These were the best about 2 years ago when Marc Ecko was making them. I'm shocked how much they've gone up in price. I got mine back in the day, marked down for $20.
hey guys, i'm the creator of the plushies. THANK YOU for your kind comments! i'm in school right now and i make these in my spare time to sell because i don't work during school. that's one of the reasons i don't take commissions - there's too much time pressure on those. also, i don't know how much they're worth and how much people are willing to buy them for. that's why i put them on ebay as i make them. it solves every problem. i know they seem a bit pricey but it's not my fault - i start them from $45-$60 and they go up by themselves. so i've seen here that luna, vinyl scratch, rarity, and applejack are requested - i will make them eventually. i've already got vinyl scratch planned for my boyfriend, and i'll make another to sell. my current list of who i'm going to make is this: dr. whooves cutie mark crusaders (set of 3) twilight sparkle rarity vinyl scratch applejack luna then i'll probably get around to making duplicates. i may make a rainbow dash in between some because she is very popular. i have a DA that i update when i make new ponies: http://ravenhedgehog.deviantart.com/ and here's my ebay account where i'm currently selling fluttershy and rainbow dash: http://www.ebay.com/sch/bjaniszewski/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562 if i ever start taking commissions i'll make an announcement but i'm very happy with the way ebay's going currently. as for a pattern, i probably won't be releasing it until i stop selling them. it's pretty complicated and not perfect, and not marked like a normal pattern you'd buy. it'd take a lot of explanation. thanks again for all your kind comments!
Ah, Silicon Knights. Eternal Darkness was one of the best gamecube games out there. I wish I still had that shit; I'd be playing it right now. Some asshole at Gamestop didn't tell me I had accidentally left that game in my SSBM case when I went to sell it, even after he had opened the case and checked it (which I obviously neglected to do). I think he knew it was a pretty rare title and screwed me out of it, pretending not to notice while still giving me the $25 credit as if it were Smash Bros. Fucking cunt.
Man, I have never have I enjoyed an action horror game quite as much as that one, with RE:4 being a very close second. I wish I hadn't remembered this game.
The Humble Bundle was also bombarded with assholes that bought the pack for 1 cent, even worse they would turn around and sell their codes for profit. I would also argue that a game company should not be forced to live by fucking begging for donations.
Boobs, but the braces scare me. I'm not even sure if they are braces.
To the Redditor that posted it, I don't mean to offend. :)
$60 ITUNES GIFT CARD, Buy it Now for $70.40 This is a good deal.
if you cannot soldering, I found these on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RETROLINK-SNES-Super-Nintendo-Controller-USB-PC-New-/300625846765?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item45feb261ed
An SNES controller ready for ebay. Costs less than the chip you need to add to a contoller.
I was looking for an snes controller off ebay to do this project; I didn't want to hack apart my two original controllers. You should be able to still pack this controller with a usb hub and usb drive you wanted. However you are don't know how to solder here is a controller, and you could always just keep a usb drive with everything loaded separate.
Not to burst your bubble...but unless you have something like a certificate of authenticity, it looks like the signatures are printed on, too...
Still an awesome poster to have on your wall.
All I wanted was a tablet I can pen notes on. Is that so hard?
Edit: Here, this is the motherfucking pinnacle of tablet technology. Just enough room to write, perfect wacom input that literally feels like you're using a pen, and the battery is decent. I want something like that, but half the weight and I don't even really need a colour display or even for it to be a full computer, just some android crap would do.
I've tried many tablets over the years but nothing comes anywhere close to how glorious it is to write on a fujitsu wacom platform.
Finding a used table is part of the fun in my opinion, unless you've got several hundred dollars laying around. Then you can skip that step and get right in. Something like this, for example, will vault you well ahead of the turntable pictured here. While the table in this post* might make for a decent starter table, buying it with the intention of anything more than non-committal listening would be like buying going dirt bike shopping and getting this rather than this.
While to the untrained eye, they look similar, anyone who's dealt with them would tell you that your talent will exceed the limits of the former very quickly, while the capabilities of the latter will almost certainly forever exceed your talent.
Now that she's seen what it's fetching on eBay (the set is 100% complete, with box & instructions), she insists on selling it & using half the money for getting sets for our son (he's 4 years old), and the other half for, if you can believe it, food.
Pfft. Food.
Kanto badge set with pins. If that's too expensive, Ash's hat would be something great that he probably doesn't have.
My grow box is all computerized through my desktop, all wireless. I use the ActiveHome Pro X10 system to control my lights, drip irrigation and fans. You can program and schedule everything. I can go roughly a month with out even opening the box.
I started with this kit and just added modules from there.
You can get tons of different modules to run everything in your house if you want. Add on modules and stuff here.
I have this wireless cam mounted in my box to check on everything. The receiver is plugged into a tv tuner card in my pc.
New (to me) MIM Fender Stratocaster. Its my first electric guitar, and I think it's got a great sound that is going to be very flexible with the humbucking bridge pickup.
Got it off of eBay. Has a Warmoth neck and a humbucking Seymour Duncan bridge pickup.
>You can see how contrasty the Holga lens is, so you're losing detail both to specular highlights and lack of sharpness.
Several of these images are overexposed to the point where we can't see detail in large areas of the face. Large parts of her hair are pure black. This works for the portrait, but it is a piss poor test. We can't make any useful comparison of lens contrast.
As far as sharpness, it sounds like the guy used a tripod and cable release, but shooting a breathing subject at 1/8th is no way to do a sharpness test. It is would produce a usable image, but a proper test eliminates any confounding variables.
FWIW, I used to shoot a Hasselblad, at a photography school where everyone was required to use medium format. The difference between Hasselblad and Mamiya or Bronica is very, very small. What made a huge difference is using a compendium lens shade. The Zeiss 80mm lens is probably one of the lowest flare lenses in the world, but light still reflects from non image areas of the scene and reduces contrast.
I did a little searching and I think I might have found it ...
They have it at DealExtreme for $38 with free shipping. You could probably find it for less on eBay. Here's one on eBay for $23.99 with free shipping. YOU MUST BUY IT NOW.
Assuming, as MxMj says, that these weigh 39.94 grams, that'd put the raw gold value at just about $2253, if they are 24 karat gold.
The eBay source I see says they weigh .235 Troy ounces, which is about 7.31 grams. At 24 karat gold, that'd be about $395 apiece. This seems to back that weight up.
Now, that's just the raw gold value, ignoring the collectible factor. I don't do much in coins, but I can say that, roughly, if the above is correct:
If your coins weigh 39.94 grams, you could expect to get about $2000 from a pawn shop or jeweler.
If they weigh 7.31 grams, you could expect to get about $355 apiece.
My advice: Hold on to them for a bit, gold has been going up dramatically in the last couple months; I wouldn't be surprised to see it top out over $2000 an ounce by the end of September.
The average person selling jewelery won't realize a drastic change in what they get paid per gram, because 14k is only 58% pure and most of the time they are selling a relatively small amount of it; an increase of $100 per ounce is only about $5.90 on 3.5 grams of gold (the average weight of a ring).
However, if you've got an ounce of pure gold, $100 increase in 1 month pays out about $95 and is like being paid to sit around and do nothing. :P
Extremely rushed this morning.
Someone asked last week about my glasses and they are these, Ray ban 5095. This is the only link I could find for them since they do not have them on the site anymore
this coin's condition seems way too good to be 2300 years old. could it possibly be a reproduction?
looks about 600, not thousands... if you want cards worth thousands of dollars you'd best be eyeballing Magic the Gathering.
There's only one headphone. The Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro-80. I'm a raving evangelist for these phones. They come in right at the $200 mark, and can be had for $180 if you shop around carefully, or used for $100 on eBay. They have fantastic treble detail and very deep, tight bass. They're also phenomenally comfortable, perhaps among the most comfortable headphones at any price. They're very well-built and have a long straight cord.
They often get compared to the M50's (which I haven't heard personally) but the Beyers have bigger and deeper ear-cups, so deep in fact that your ears probably won't touch the screen of the driver (this is CRUCIAL for long-term listening).
I wear mine 7 hours/day at work listening to audiobooks, music, television, etc. They isolate very well, letting little sound in and basically nothing out.
They can be a little tight on your head out-of-the-box (many headphones are) but unlike some other brands, these can be easily loosened up just by stretching/bending the headband out until they suit your needs. Under that pleather head pad is a sturdy flat steel band that can be loosened or tightened to your liking. I wear mine pretty loose.
Also, they're widely recommended as an excellent gaming headphone, with a surprisingly big soundstage for a closed design. Don't buy the Pro-80M or the Pro-250 model, neither is as well-suited to general use as the Pro-80.
EDIT: You're welcome. I promise you'll love the hell out of these.
