I got you fam.
In World War II, the United States Playing Card Company produced special decks for the Allied intelligence agencies. These decks were meant to be smuggled into prison camps.
The cards were printed such that when they were soaked in water, a soldier could peel the cards apart and use them to arrange the pieces into a map showing escape routes.

Google digging gave me this earlier version of the rules that was supposed posted on Savagepedia, which this as a direct link to the initial upload, hosted on googledocs. Might not be the most recent but at least it's something.
D: dang, Savagepedia was up two days ago too!
EDIT: though on a quick scan of that upload, man, benders are seriously OP over non-benders...
One of the best source books for Deadlands is a reproduction. Sears Roebuck & Co. Catalogue. They are cheap and include thousands of products with illustrations and more or less correct pricing.
Also I found this site helpful. http://www.oldmapsonline.org/ having a map to base hings on makes coming up with ideas and plots much easyer.

A quick Google turned up this. Not sure if that's the latest version before they took it down.
I'll back the SPC2 as well, it's incredibly useful to build "gods" for not only any culture (due to the SPC2's flexibility), but the variable Power Levels can be used to tweak just how powerful you want your gods to be. If you want them to be up there with the MCU Thor, jump them straight up to Cosmic and start them somewhere between Veteran and Legendary. If you want them to be more on par with, say, SMITE gods, Four Color or maybe even Street Fighter power level should suit your needs.
Time period helps a lot figuring that stuff out too. If the gods are banding together during the middle ages, a Four Color hero is gonna feel way more powerful than if they were fighting during modern times—and Four Color super heroes are almost mundane in a high-power sci-fi game like Rifts. Technology is a fantastic equalizer, so you can adjust your game scale in a lot of different ways to compensate for it!
That said, the Horror Companion does have a couple of "old dark gods" in their NPCs/Monsters section toward the end, so that might be a good resource depending on what kind of cosmic horror you're looking to unleash.
The Savage Worlds core rulebook is wonderfully inexpensive- $9.99.
They do have free Test Drive rules which would give you a very good idea of whats going on.
I'm not going to lie, I loved the idea of Interface Zero and was excited when David proposed doing a Kickstarter to release updated rules. But the constant revisions to the rules up to the point where it's finally being printed just doesn't really work for me. The implant system seems clunky and without any significant consequences, guns are still heavily OP, and the mech rules were defaulted to the Mech Rules in the Sci-Fi companion instead of trying something different. It just seems like a huge mess to get involved with.
The Kickstarter seems poorly handled and despite some reasonable problems with artists and editors that happened after it was done I've resigned to the notion that this is a loss for me and probably won't use the setting if I get it delivered in August (Almost 2 years after the Kickstarter was done).
Edit: For those looking for a suitable replacement that I think looks fabulous already, look at the Nova Praxis Kickstarter.
It's not been published but I did a game of evil PC and evil races.
Minions of the Dark Lord
I think I have tweaked some of them since this document, but do what you will.
I rather like this one. I find it's good for just about everything except arcane characters, but if you list the damaging powers as attacks and the non-damaging powers in the box below, they work well enough.
https://www.scribd.com/doc/125505392/Voidstate-Savage-Worlds-Cs-v1-8
They're mostly a collection of edges and hindrances that I liked, some that I changed, and some that I made up. I set the supers dials to where I wanted them (this predates the 2nd edition companion), and added some illustrations from the internet.
Enjoy.
Character Sheet
roll20 has become the default way of playing online, although there's a relatively high learning curve and it's going through some coding issues now.
You can get away with some sort of chat program and a shared dice rolling app like rolz though. I used to play using irc via chat! Now these days, people can voice-chat via Discord or GoogleHangouts, (which now has video if you want it), make shitty-ass maps via GoogleSpreadsheets or do it all Theater of the Mind.
Mods are optional add-ons made by the community. They add a wide range of possibilities. DnD Beyond integrations, Tokens that auto-move when they reach certain square, enhancements and automations for your system (which will made Foundry a serious competitor for Fantasy Grounds), content importers (you have a Savaged.us importer), sound fx, music, maps... right now you have 457 available mods for Foundry.
> Firefly RPG by Margaret Weis Productions
Goddamn, Amazon is showing that selling for between $70-200! What's the reason for that?
I use this one for Rifts:

So far my opinion is mild. Your app is very difficult to use compared to other apps, though I think it has potential to be useful. The biggest thing I would change is to show the result of each die before adding the numbers together. For example, if I rolled two 6's and a 1, the total of course is 13, but I suggest displaying it as "6, 6, 1 = 13" This change would make it easier to see the number of Aces for Savage Worlds, and would also make it useful for some other games, such as Shadowrun. Secondly, I think it would be much more intuitive to make exploding dice a check box option rather than a function, but honestly I haven't really learned how to use your menus yet. Once I get used to it, your method could be better? I've also not figured out how to use the probability function yet. Like, I can't actually find it.
On the upside, I like the appearance of your app more than most I've seen on Android. I normally use Dice Bag and find it to be kinda ugly. And its buttons are too small. Adding the help menu was also a good call. I haven't read all of it yet, but it has been kinda necessary.
I have a game coming up this weekend (maybe) and I'll play with your app some more then.
There's also an official licensed Robotech supplement https://www.amazon.com/Robotech-Macross-Playing-Savage-BPI1334/dp/1944413979/ref=asc_df_1944413979/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=385115590018&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5814710588801577163&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&am...
If you want quick and easy, there's a Google app here. Doesn't look like it does the sepia tone for the picture though.
Otherwise, there are probably several templates online that you can download and load into your favorite art program (Krita is free) and do that.
There was a notion sheet I updated for our interface zero game. It looks even better with the dark mode activated.

Awesome, happy hunting. :) Definitely recommend Dice So Nice! and Dice Tray for all Foundry systems that support them. If you search the Foundry Modules page for SWADE you'll find some macros and whatnot that you may find helpful.
Both the free and paid versions don't have any native automation for advancements in Foundry. Like u/computer-machine said, use savaged.us, the export the json file from it and import via a module. It works, but despite claiming to use the official foundry compendium entries it still seems to kind of jury-rig its own, which can mess Foundry's calculations up. I've had to manually fix both size and toughness for a couple of my players.
I don't know if it will be of any help, but I put together some Wierd War II pregens a while back. The art was lifted from the internet, and a WWII wonk will probably go nuts over the uniforms, but it was the best I could do.
EDIT: If they seem familiar, it's because they're based on the pregens available through Pinnacle.
It is made out of cardboard and sold by the German brand Ulisses Spiele GmbH , originally made for their system Das Schwarze Auge. But I‘m no fan of the system. The maps were nice though, so I bought some doubles on eBay. Only thing I found currently is this, but with a forest motive : https://www.amazon.de/Unbekannt-Hexagon-Map-Waldlichtung-Rollenspiel-Tabletop/dp/B07T3BBRWL
>What are you using for this by the way,
Looks to me like FoundryVTT.
You purchase a license, and download either a desktop program or node.js archive, which you run locally (or whatever server you like) and connect via web browser.
SW has free fan engine (at least it did when I'd started), plus a paid one maintained by PEG. They also made one for Deadlands (or maybe that one's a module layered on the base?), and another for Pathfinder for SW.
So I gathered two of my players, tried explaining the game, not very well mind you, but I tried explaining it. Eventually my best course of action was to direct them to the Fandible podcast, Real Jade Aliens (Warning, NSFW language), which is both hilarious and a good picture of savage worlds mutant chronicles.
I am looking for additional players for an online game using the Savage Worlds system.
Time: Fridays 6 to 10 PST, or possibly Play by Post (PBP)
System: Savage worlds SciFi
Software: Foundry VTT, Discord
Current Players: 3/6
Theme: I would be running a game in my own SciFi setting that is a mix between cowboy bebop, fantasy, and some inspiration from cyberpunk. Think of it as an epic space western with swashbuckling adventure, magic, and advanced tech. You can see my overview in the link below.
If you have any questions feel free to ask or DM me. You can also find me on the Savage Worlds discord under the same name.
https://www.notion.so/Campaign-Overview-58b13661151b4dfa9b7b81e1c8531d32
Well, FoundryVTT is similar to Roll20, but you run your own server (server+bundled Chrome browser for Windows/Linux/Mac, or jnode for whatever).
Initiative can really only ve done in a program or in person. Dealing out and then typing in is a huge waste of effort. But I've never found tracking that hard. Just put the used cards in the discard as you go.
The FoundryVTT support from Pinnacle is awesome - the Deadlands CRB comes with tokens for NPCs and monsters. You'll need the core SWADE rules for Foundry to play, as well. Definitely get Dice So Nice! because it's so nice.
I'm currently preparing to start with this free one-shot which provides introductory rules for SWADE and an intro to Deadlands with a short adventure, that takes place in the same area as The Horror at Headstone Hill should you choose to run that box later. There is also Foundry support for that free adventure, with a map, tokens, and character sheets for the pre-mades and NPCs.
Definitely recommend picking up the Deadlands Marshal's (GM) Screen pdf from Pinnacle, it can be had for a fistful of dollars and has lots of handy tables.
Don't sweat the detailed rules, as they say in the CRB those are for zooming in and supporting the game when needed. All you need to know the first time out is the basics of how the game works, then you can introduce stuff like multiactions, called shots, chases etc.
Welcome to the weird west, Marshal!
Hello Friend.
I did happent to find a supplement for something youre describing, it was for the Explorers edition though, not Adventurers. So there may have to be some conversion work to be done.
I also had to really look for this because I initially couldnt remember where it was.
Here you go: Savage Worlds: Graduated Powers
Foundry VTT is coming along and has one of the nicest and easiest UI for VTT. The Savage Worlds support is only just getting off the ground and still lacks card/deck support but I would keep an eye on it. https://foundryvtt.com/
Roll20 has a community sheet that is quite good and covers a lot of the automated rolls for skills and attributes and has settings for most of the popular game worlds. Card decks are supported as well. Interface is ok, better than Fantasy Grounds but combat is more manual than FG. Up side is you can GM and play completely free. Game system support has been coming on quickly if you want to buy stuff.

This is one I did, but it's still a work in progress.
A couple things to note...
* Jedi is a Hindrance and there's a deliniation between Jedi and Force User. The game is intended to move away from the combat monster Jedi that so many other Star Wars games have. It takes a GM's interference to do it, so it may not be for everyone. If you want Jedi who must find peaceful solutions before reverting to combat, this may interest you. I frequently use Intimidation and Taunt from the dark Jedi to force the Jedi to act out of anger. Gaining a Dark Side point is not the end of the world, and does allow the Jedi to get a little dirty from time to time, but it's got consequences.
* The Force is not "powers" it's 3 skills, influenced by the d6 system. I listed examples, but that's just to give people an idea of how to use the skills.
* The skills are bought with your regular skill points, and I have since linked them to attributes rather than having them unlinked. They are now Control > Vigor, Sense > Smarts, Alter > Spirit. What this means is somebody taking the Jedi hindrance has a strict code they must follow, but they get a but of a bump in power. Somebody outside the order, won't have as much power to begin, but also is a bit freer with how they use the Force.
* The book has some typos and isn't complete. Feel free to draw from it what you want.
Wonderful! There's lots of programs to edit Markdown. It's just a format/standard, after all. You can use the primitive Notepad, something esoteric such as vim or Emacs, something reasonably simple such as Notepad++, or any raw text editor of your choice. What you probably want, though, is an editor specialised for Markdown.
https://stackedit.io/app works reasonably well if you don't want to install anything. Just start writing, and you can print right from the browser.
https://wereturtle.github.io/ghostwriter/ is also fairly good, but needs to be installed.
Weird Wars and Deadlands:Noir could be useful to pull from as they take place in a similar time period (1930s - 1940s).
There's also a few third party stuff that might help like this.
Sure thing, here's two:
I'm new to SW, but the reason I think SotDL might hold great appeal for SW folks is that, while it's not classless, they get entirely away from 5e/Pathfinder class restrictions. Whereas SW does away with it entirely and makes it traits, SotDL basically keeps classes/professions, erases the idea of restrictions (you can mix and match them however you want), and best of all expands to about 100 new versions to give literally every imaginable skill/trait available you could ever want, that's far more creative than, and in my opinion, blows D&D/Pathfinder out of the water.
Also like SW, system keeps enough crunch to have structure, but puts heavy focus on RP and leaves a lot open to just do your thing, rather than box you in like 5e/Pathfinder.
Clicking around the deck Gancis linked on amazon, it turns out Bicycle has a Cyberpunk deck. Not the fanciest, but not too expensive and lots of available colors.
You can grab Savage Worlds Deluxe Explorer's Edition from Amazon for $10. It the previous edition and has everything you need to creat and play some homebrew stuff. The rules in the Adventure Edition don't change that much.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1937013200/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_IrH6FbV0NSF9Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Be careful who you buy from.
Some online stores will charge you $5 shipping, and if you get another book that a different store fulfills, you will be charged another $5 shipping.
So try to get your stuff either all from the same online shop, or fulfilled by amazon (so again, it comes from one location).
You can verify your shipping costs during checkout before you finalize your order.
Amazon.com wants $34.26 with $15 shipping.
Amazon.ca wants $58.52 with free shipping.
In this rare case, after conversion it's actually cheaper to get it from the .ca site (Which amusingly, ships from the US anyway.)
I don't know what either of those things mean, but I assume Savage Worlds <something>? At the moment, I'm working off this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1937013200/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 one and I have the Supoer Powers and Sci Fi companions as well.
I did back the recent kickstarter, but I haven't cracked open the edition at all yet
Hex maps are best for outdoors:

This set is reversible.
thats a pretty neat little thing but i already have this GM screen i bought. https://www.amazon.com/Stratagem-Masters-4-Panel-Customizable-Inserts/dp/B06W5JWBWX I got most of my reference stuff on there but I had a big GM notebook and some loose papers and just i dont know two other folders lol. I overdid it, next time im just gonna streamline everything i think.
Actually, you might be interested in inserting one of Hellfrost's adventures. I don't have all of those adventures (I got a few of the books before they apparently put them in a huge massive compendium), but I remember Against the Elements is basically a dungeon. (It's really a school of elemental magic with zombies.) Hellfrost is basically D&D, so I'm sure a lot of Hellfrost's adventures can be turned into dungeons, and often includes interesting traps and monsters. Web of Deceit iirc is a town adventure going into basically a dungeon that has a bunch of traps, for one, and there was a werewolf adventure, and of course a dragonlich adventure.
B&B is a kitchen-sink type setting, so I'd bet Hellfrost can be mashed into it fairly easily.
Mad Amos. Short story collection with a folklore/tall-tale feel, following the mountain man Mad Amos Malone and his unusual horse Worthless.
Wikipedia's Weird West article has a good run-down of the genre.
A while back I read an amazing Weird West short story that was scanned out of 1920s pulp magazine, of all things, which stood up against anything recent, but I can't remember the name or the author. :( Among other things, it involved a cussin' contest that turned the sun blood red and tore a hole in the sky,.
I am using my DIY GM-Screen for quick reference purposes only, and if the table is so small the players could easily read my notes. :) I am using a three-paged blank menu holder, which I fill with self-printed sheets for whatever game I'm running: https://www.amazon.com/Update-International-MCV-3BK-Triple-Panel/dp/B002NQQVHK/
Bring two decks of cards, and pay one of your players a benny to shuffle them for you. Otherwise the action will grind to a halt when you have to reshuffle the deck after drawing a joker.
I'd also suggest using low-visibility cards such as these. These are easy to see across the table.
Oooh. Ummm...let me think.
These might be a little pricey but they could be cool too. I usually try to get at least 20 or 25 so you'd be looking at $40 - $50. Ehhh...for me that would be too much unless it was a long term campaign, or I knew I'd reuse them.
But I would definitely check out Catholic supply stores for trinkets...Catholics love their medals and beads and such.
Wait a second, I think I've got it!!!
You can use the roll20 app. It's only just been rolled out, so there's some kinks, but it's reportedly more-or-less functional. You can read more about it on their wiki.
Within the roll20 app, you have their Character Sheet function. In order to do that, you'll need to join/create a campaign, which chooses a default character sheet style (pick Savage Worlds Tabbed), then create a character, and then edit the character sheet to your hearts content.
EDIT: you'll need a roll20 account though. You might need to initially set things up via a regular computer browser but afterwards can access the CharSheet via the app.
