It's not that they don't care about the mode, so much as they don't care about this kind of UI content.
I mean, this was the image for Da Ji's adventure, and it was never fixed: https://i.imgur.com/7ybEPEB.jpg (they forgot to toggle off the layer with the conquest minimap when making the bg for the adventure queue)
The official website isn't immune to this either. The conquest page still features season 2/3/4 images (https://www.smitegame.com/game-modes/conquest) even though they made a whole promo page for the season 5 map (https://www.smitegame.com/season-5) and published the minimap for the thing (meaning they got all the assests they need to update the page, its just that no one bothered to do it).

About 3 months ago during their small wave of bans:
https://www.smitegame.com/news/developer-update-recent-actions-on-player-reports
It was a 3 day ban and he threw a fit about it on twitter if I recall correctly and demanded people stop buying gems because the game is dying anyway.
https://twitter.com/juiceDiem/status/997504805345128448
> So, today, @HiRezTh3B4r0n was supposed to come on the stream to talk about how Smite is failing and what steps hirez is taking to remedy that.
>Instead, he gave me a lame excuse then blocked me.
>Then Hirez suspended me from Smite for 3 days for "match griefing."
>#StopBuyingGems
Edit: To be honest, the white knight replies to his tweet are almost worse.
Your response would be perfect if you weren't so contradicted by the advertising for the event. Hirez's website says that players will compete for a 1,000,000 prize pool, when in fact they will compete for a fraction of that. So you are trying to have it both ways: you want to get people excited about SWC by saying players are competing for 1,000,000, and you want to save money on tournament prize pools. It's fine if you have a logic for choosing the latter option, just don't try to have both of those mutually-exclusive things by being deceptive in your advertising of the event.

PPS: i might be casting ;]
First of all, welcome. I hope you enjoy yourself!
Now, you want to visit this page for four free skins tied to following Smite on various social media platforms.
Next you want to download the Curse Voice client. It's Smite's official voice chat, and will allow you to unlock 200 gems and two more skins just by playing games with the client open.
Finally, you want to add a player as a referrer, you can do this in-game using their in-game-name. They don't need to be a friend of yours, it can literally be anyone. You will get free favor just for levelling up, and by the time you reach the max level, you will have earned enough favor to unlock four full-price gods, or one and a half diamond mastery skins, if you choose to unlock the Ultimate God Pack.
Good luck with all that! :P
EDIT: I forgot to mention that unlocking a skin for a god in these methods will unlock the god as well, so Artemis, Nu Wa, Agni, and Apollo are free if you want them to be.
I'm a little confused regarding the future availability of the Bob Ross items. I assumed based on how it was advertised that it was Limited, but in-game the Sylvanus skin is Exclusive, but the other items (Loading Frame, Loading Screen and Jump Stamp) are Limited. However, on the website all 4 items are labeled as Exclusive. If the bundle is Limited time only (and the Sylvanus skin will come back in chests in the future), there's no date indicated anywhere as to when the bundle expires. If someone from HiRez could provide some clarity it would be appreciated.
Whenever this newest patch hits, the old god class filters will be able to be used during lobby. This has already been confirmed.

Some things to keep note of:
There is indeed reasoning for these changes (taken from the Patch Notes): Many item icons have had their artwork redone or have had adjustments to make them more consistent with their item tree’s color scheme.
Talaria Boots were the only foot accessories that were not changed.

Sure, I will correct you. I am not citing accounts. I am citing active community, which Hi-Rez has said to be around 3 million. Tomorrow is the start of the Hi-Rez Expo and smite/paladins world championships here in ATL. A keynote is scheduled for 10:30am EST and will be on Smite's official Twitch/Mixer streams. I would expect the official announcement for switch AND more details on Crossplay to be announced here. Also worth watching over the weekend for some high level play from the pros.
Last month, Smite announced that you can link your steam account to your official Hi-Rez account. In the announcement they stated:
Plus, this new functionality put us in a direction to implement… wait for it… Cross-platform play! fingers crossed
Console patch notes can be found here: https://www.smitegame.com/news/new-in-smite-frostfire-4-24-console-patch-notes
Main difference: Hachiman's Eagle Eye Ability continues after the first enemy hit. We will be disabling Hachiman in all Ranked queues until this issue is resolved.
The way Smite did Nike was real cool.
https://www.smitegame.com/wp-content/themes/smite-v2/images/adventures/nike-tier-skin.jpg
Alternatively Pharah would look awesome in an Isis costume. (The goddess not the terrorist group)
His examples in particular gave us an edge case (three grandmasters players in queue together through multiple games) that then gave us an abnormal pattern that lead to identifying the issue. It's not that other posts aren't listened to, it's that this example in particular was one that was very different from what is normal.
As far as how matchmaking works/etc. I'd recommend looking into our Matchmaking FAQ.

Still waiting for that Amaterasu dance emote that they fucked up on the patch notes on the site last years summer patch. (It's fixed right now but back then it said Amaterasu and not Chiron)
The way the Season Ticket works in Smite is that you can get points by playing, just like you get VIP points right now. When you get enough points you unlock a tier with a reward assigned to that tier. The more points you earn, the more rewards you get.
You also have the option to buy into the Season Ticket. This is a one-time purchase and lasts for the entire season. You get some rewards up-front and you will also get points faster. At least this is how it worked in season 3. It's not very different from the current VIP system.
EDIT: Just did some research and it looks like Smite also has a "VIP store" with their Season Ticket for season 5. I have no idea how it works so i'm not going to comment on that.
How is this an excuse when both League, Dota 2 and Smite were able to have multiple rather substantial balance patches during this period?

Well you came back right before the mid season patch 5.13 where there's going to be another meta shake-up. Jungler and Mid are bit strong at the moment and Support really sucks due to xp spooling and such, but those things are being tackled in 5.13. I suggest you read the patch notes thoroughly for 5.13... theirs a ton of changes in there.
https://www.smitegame.com/news/5-13-mid-season-update-notes
Builds are hard to explain right now.
Hunters are leaning on crit at the moment.
Guardians are somewhat back to the selfish build.
Mages are opting for more power over CDR and even Pen.
Warriors are the usual hybrid
Assassins are going for Pen/Power usually most AA assassins aren't doing the best from what Ive seen besides Merc.
I know Im not 100% right but these are just my observations.
I kinda surprise that in this thread no one pointed that Cherbebog loin cloth symbol was actually Slavic since its chenebog symbol
It's super minor but at least it's something I stead of zero Slavic features I saw all over this thread
https://www.smitegame.com/news/chernobog-a-closer-look
https://fr.depositphotos.com/185452788/stock-illustration-symbol-of-chernobog-ancient-slavic.html
Well, i be damned. It is litteraly just a trace after the image on https://www.smitegame.com/gods/terra/ . In case anyone wanted to check for themselves.
So him putting his watermark on it, in the buttom left, is technically not allowed, well partly sure on that part
Just to make things clear. I'm not arguing whether or no FDot messed up, or if he did that he should be scolded for it. I personally think FDot's a good caster. It's not an inexpensive item, so saying it's expensive isn't entirely incorrect. That being said, in relative to a mid laner, and the items they will generally pick up, it's not that expensive of an item. It's pretty much average. On a side note, did doom orb get increased to 2650, or is https://www.smitegame.com/items/ incorrect?
I will drop something here that might or might not be part of the Twitch integration (I really hope it will!).
Twitch allows publisher to promote their game better with rewards for watching streams or streaming. This feature was first introduced with the Smite Studio HiRezStudio a few months ago and lately Twitch announced an expansion in this regard.
You are basically getting ingame items as a viewer and as a streamer you can distribute ingame items to your viewer for a higher engagement/view duration.
Example: https://www.smitegame.com/twitch-rewards-on-all-streams/
Huh, if I can't find the reddit post I always just google "smite patch notes" and find the patch notes page with every patch note from every version. If you want, you can even bookmark it: https://www.smitegame.com/category/patch-notes/
It's because each tier (bronze, silver, gold, etc.) has an associated MMR range. Whatever your MMR is, it's lower than what the game thinks it should be for the division that you're in. So the game is trying to demote you to where it thinks you belong. As a result, you're going to lose many more TP for a loss, and gain many fewer TP for a win, than if your MMR was higher. You might lose a little less than 16 if you lose a game to a much higher rated team, and you might win a little more than 6 if you beat a much higher rated team, but over the course of many games you will lose more TP than you gain if you only win 50% of your games.
There's basically two ways this can play out for you:
You start to carry and win the majority of your games. You'll continue to get very little TP per match, and thus will climb the ranked tiers much slower than others, but your MMR will rise faster and they will eventually even out.
You get a demoted a few times, and then eventually you'll be in a tier that matches your MMR. At that point, the amount of TP you get for a win and a loss should be roughly even, making it easier to climb the ranked tiers.
Edit: Here is an official post by Hi-Rez explaining matchmaking in detail and giving an updated MMR range for each tier. This information is more official/up-to-date than the reddit post I linked above. Thanks to /u/DukeSloth for the find.
>Unlimited Skins are a new Skin classification coming to SMITE! These are godlike rewards given for FREE to players that fully participate and unlock all the content from an event. In the past, we would classify these coveted Skins as Limited, and they would only be available as part of their corresponding event. Unlimited Skins are event reward Skins, but after their corresponding event has ended they will be available for direct purchase at a premium price so that they will continue to be available to future new players. The post-event price will be the total amount of Gems required to purchase all event components necessary to unlock the Skin during the event. When an Unlimited Skin is purchased after its event, it will not unlock any of the other event content.

Every patch has some balance changes (except sometimes right before a big LAN event), Project Olympus isn't a one-patch-to-make-smite-never-need-a-patch-again patch; it's some big changes to game systems that require more work and aren't something to just casually be thrown in any old patch.
The improved graphics engine, 64-bit, the addition of a new system (prestige system, champion chests), multi-queue, UI updates, ranked improvements, etc are what the project is about.
https://www.smitegame.com/project-olympus/
But to answer the basic question of why Ah Puch wasn't changed, according to their statistics he performs well at basically all levels of play outside of the SPL. If a god is performing well in casuals (exceptionally well - he has like a 70% winrate in Assault IIRC) and in even diamond/masters ranked, why buff them?

This is fine and working as intended: https://www.smitegame.com/matchmaking-faq/.
Alright guys, we need more ideas for chest skins!
We make pretty frequent tweaks to Match Making and are definitely always focused on it.
One of the big challenges we have compared to other popular MOBAs with match-making, is that we actually have so many popular gamemodes. It's one of the great things about the game, but it means, that at any given time, even our most popular mode has less than 30% of the people in teh game playing it --> and then that gets split into EU/NA/OCE players, and then split by Level and by skill. There's just so many slices to the pie.
Here's a faq we did on matchmaking a while back. https://www.smitegame.com/matchmaking-faq/
Hey there! If you want to read up about it a bit, we have a section about in the Update Notes: https://www.smitegame.com/news/darkness-falls-update-notes

> I really hope this is fixed next weekend because the rewards for watching are a lot more than just white and blue chests.
It is really a lot more??I don't Know man...

Watch for 8 hours and earn a Blue Mixer Chest

Watch for 16 hours and earn the HRX Loki Skin

Don't get me wrong, I know is free stuff and all but... 4 hours to get a White Chest that contains 25 FP?Really?
And 8 hours for a Blue that 99% of the time contains 100 FP?
The Odyssey chest and Loki skin is nice, but the first 8 hours for one white and one blue is really disappointing...
HRX Placement Round matches begin on November 5th!
You can check out all the details on when games will be played and the Worlds format here: https://www.smitegame.com/news/hrx-2018-at-dreamhack-atlanta-smite-world-championship-details
They posted this today: https://www.smitegame.com/news/steam-linking-details-faq
In their list of planned features, there's a point where they say that they want an all-in-one linking page and among others, they have Xbox and PS4 in brackets. This means that with crossplay, account linking might come. In what form, we'll probably see in the future.
>This reward will only be available for PC players but don’t worry if you play on Console! We’ll be having a Gem Storm Event when 5.13 launches on Xbox and PS4!
While I agree with you ethically (shouldn't sweep problems like these under the rug), keep in mind that there is a balance to be found for a subreddit like this. If half of the submitted posts are about matchmaking, on one end, this means HiRez should do something about it to fix it, and on the other end, /r/Smite is meant for all kinds of Smite related discussion, and you also want that other discussion to foster instead of getting pushed away.
Over the years, HiRez revamped the system multiple times, and even dedicated a whole page to explaining it. While it is up to them to decide on how to tackle this community commotion, /r/Smite is an independent place, meaning that this is not intended as the place where people complain and HiRez magically fixes it.
Basically, these two things are to be weighted by the mods. What this practically boils down to is the ruling that removes complaint posts that do not contain useful discussion, information, or argumentation and are not extremely hostile. This goes for pretty much any topic and should not be impossible to keep up to.
The skins rotate every patch(every two weeks).they change two EXCLUSIVE skins for 7500 fp each and one direct purchase skin for 3500.u can find out what's the newest fp store skin rotation from the newest patch notes post on the smite site. https://www.smitegame.com/news/inner-demon-5-6-pc-update-notes
Console Update Notes: https://www.smitegame.com/news/time-to-party-5-5-console-update-notes
Known Issues List: http://forums.smitegame.com/showthread.php?177462-5-5-Time-to-Party-Console-Known-issues-list
It's pure confirmation bias. If this was their genuine strategy we would see things like more expensive skins such as high tier event rewards coinciding consistently with buffs to those gods- but you very rarely see that. In this patch we see both cupid and thanatos getting chest exclusive skins, both gods that were arguably lower tier than Raijin before this buff, nobody would complain about buffs to either god, but they're left unchanged. If they were going to balance around making money off skins why wouldn't they buff one of them? What about this patch where they nerf morrigan and add a skin for her?
Naturally that's not the only place they released it, if you read the patch notes you'd find the information there too. This question has also been asked multiple times so you're bound to see the answers in a few places here on the subreddit too.
This was announced that it was in the works since the start of the season
This hasn't just 'suddenly' been put to work on just because Chris commented.
They mentioned a rework a long time ago. Not sure if it's true, but I read somewhere that It is supposed to be coming some time soon after Midseason.

Putting arguments aside, here's the patch that changed conquest minions since season 5. The changes only affected conquest minions: https://www.smitegame.com/news/season-5-5-1-update-notes

in a nutshell, she reaches her full passive at 50% health now instead of 25% health and sped up the activation time of her 3 by 0.1 second.

Look through the patchnotes. There are a few changes made to these new gods.
1) Merlin damage has been slightly reduced on some abilities, but his escape got hit the hardest, making it easier for you to just chase him down and kill him.
2) You gotta beads it before he hits you. It's a lot like Ne Zha or Kumbha ultimate, need to either aegis or beads before he gets to hit you.
3) Jormungandr passive is fine as it is. It allows him to bodyblock certain ultimates (like Arthur which you had an issue with), you can easily melt him down if with any CC. 10% damage increase it not to scoff at. Imagine impaling him as Anhur over sand, he is now insanely slowed and will easily be hit by every spear from Desert Fury while taking 10% increased damage.
Hi-Rez still acknowledges OB64 today and even have in-game content (the sprays) which reference it. Chris would have no reason to cover it up like it never happened, especially when it very obviously happened. It's fairly certain the only reason he said "And no pay to win ever" was as a reassurance to the playerbase that OB64 is never coming back. It's just that either he used poor wording or you're misinterpreting it.
In the patch notes it said the skin will not be available right away. It says it will be released sometime during 5.23.
Under the header “Misc” it briefly talks about it
For future reference, patch notes are available on Reddit if you just search it or on the smitegame website.

As a heads up: it was not confirmed in the live notes that it will be the commendation skin, but it's also the only skin not immediately available, so it's a good bet.
Are you sure? Because I saw the exact opposite. When the new god select menu was launched it caused such a major shitstorm here that Ajax himself made a post saying they will fix it

"Cross-platform play!!!!!! WHEN, WHERE, HOW????? Tell me all the things!!!!!!!!
The team is excited for this step towards cross-platform play. There is still a ton of work to do, and lots of hurdles that need to be worked through, but we’ll share more details as soon as we have more information!"
VGS Restriction
Players who abuse the VGS system during a game may have their ability to VGS restricted, lowering the amount of times they can use commands and how long they will need to wait before being allowed to use VGS again
They are referring to buying archon and poolsideon during spring fling

It wasn't a lie. No one said Furia was coming to console this week, they said they hoped she would, and that they were aiming to get her out this week.
They wanted to get the update out on time and tried their hardest to, but sometimes it just doesn't work out.
I can't find the console patch notes yet but this link should go there once they put them on the site. For now I'm just linking to the PC notes and will try to update the console stuff when they release the notes.
And the fact that you can get lv 5 in your team is why the algorithm need to change.
And yes I know that's what hirez said. To be more specific, it was mentioned in Patch 3.15, basically as something to adjust player's MMR to be more accurate, so that "moving forward, matchmaking, will be more accurate and reliable".
Guess what? It stays the same.
It also had a tendency to crash people's games when they opened it. When Hi-Rez removed it they said it was for "for both design and technical reasons." They could have removed the gold graph from it or revamped the T screen; most people think they removed it because they couldn't fix the crashes.
