Mod here. All of these are valid and rather good questions. Definitely not something we see everyday, where people actually question instead of just merely accepting
Anyways answering some of these.
The url might look like a referral link to you but it is not. It is a custom landing page for users who participated or has seen our giveaway created by Ivacy themselves for this giveaway. If you don't want to use that, see the link at the bottom of this comment.
As we have said earlier, as do we now, we are not benefitting in any way from this. We are not sponsored by Ivacy. We have only partnered with them to bring this giveaway to you guys.
Yes, torrenting with the one day VPN is safe. Let's see how. During torrenting, you real ip is masked. It is all that is required to be safe from your ISP. Even free VPNs can mask your IP. But in every other aspect than basic masking your IP, free VPNs are comparatively bad to paid or trial VPNs.
We cannot stop you from abusing this wonderful thing Ivacy has brought us. But we can do request you to not abuse it. Why kill something good? Why pick beautiful flowers from the plants? If you like it, their servers, speed, ease of access etc then you should definitely try to think of considering it.
Hope this clears all your doubts.
Edit:- if you do not want to use the provided url link for the one day trial, you can use this one >>>
Open qBittorrent -> Tools -> Options -> Select "Advanced" on the bottom left -> set your network interface to the proton interface. I am using Mullvad so my interface is called "wg-mullvad".

That way you limit qBittorrent to only use this interface. If your VPN looses connection, it's interface won't have any internet connection. Since qBittorrent cannot switch to another interface, it is being cut off thus preventing an ip leak.
You can check which IP is being reveiled in qBittorrent by going to and then copying the magnet link and adding it to qbittorrent. Your IP will be displayed a few seconds after that on the website.
I have the RPCS3 emulator and it runs good but I still opted to get a PS3 and jailbreak it. It's a lot more comfortable. Also I can play in the other room.
Hard to go wrong for $100.
Sorry people won’t answer a simple fucking question we all start somewhere.
This is how you pirate everything
If your retarded like me just google you should be torrenting with a ahead and torrent a couple games but your ISP will know and send you an email of copyright infringement if they call you act like you didn’t know and you WiFi was set as download like 4 games and stop until you got a good vpn(get NordVPN).
Reddit is full of sarcastic faggots so I recommend googling “retarded” questions.
Don't know honestly. It's reputation has been waning ever since it got acquired by Kape Technologies (which also acquired ExpressVPN recently), a former malware distributor. Even though it may be private, as they say it is, the parent company's shady history doesn't inspire confidence, especially when it comes to digital privacy.
More on Kape's VPN acquisition spree here:
I've used NordVPN for about half a dozen games so far and it's kept the copyright trolls away ever since I've switched.
If you enable the Internet Kill Switch while torrenting and always leave on the App Kill Switch for your client you'll be completely safe.
qBittorrent has settings for restricting what interface it's allowed to seed and leech from.
Go to settings then go to Advanced.
Click interface, and click on the internet adapter that your ExpressVPN uses.
(Go to your windows network adapters list and switch on your VPN, and see what lights up as online).
but normally its quite obvious as there should only be 2 adapters.
1 For OpenVPN, and a 2nd one for tunnel protocols like Wireguard or IkeV2.
By restricting it to your VPN interface, your qbittorrent acts as its own Kill Switch and becomes a dead connection if your VPN adapter isn't active (when VPN is disconnected or off)
I'd add VyprVPN to the list. The owners are really adamant about security. Windscribe is high on my list of trust as well, also because it's owned by a privacy driven head. I used tj trust Express as well but I'm squeamish about it since the Kape acquisition.
You still never answered my question. Why would sharing these accounts with other users require caution to use?
> stolen
Considering the fact that you're currently on a subreddit dedicated to sharing information towards piracy, I can assume that you understand that torrenting a movie or a game isn't the same as stealing.
The same can be applied to these accounts. There is a 6 user limit, which means that the person who paid for the account doesn't have to worry about being locked out of their VPN. The original buyer will always have possession of their NordVPN account despite other people sharing the login information. You can not "steal" the accounts, which is what you were trying to claim.
I got a letter for downloading The Blacklist about 4 years ago and since then I've used Mullvad, every time I downloaded since then I've been fine.
It's only 5 euro a month, I don't mind paying that.
I use and fucking love Mullvad. I can’t afford fancy providers (and even my internet itself is pirated) but $5 a month for unlimited data and (for my slow connection) great speeds is just awesome. Plus they take every kind of payment (even cash in the mail) and require no personal information (your acct is just a big number with no password or any identifying info, not even email). Idk why they aren’t bigger but if it weren’t for them I’d have to go without because they’re far cheaper than the popular ones.
If you are doing direct downloads, you won't need a VPN for piracy. The only reason you would need a VPN is if you are torrenting. In that case you will want a P2P friendly service.
You can reference this list here:
Or look at other lists found just by typing something like "Torrent friendly VPM" into google.
Personally I use NordVPN, because a family member shares their account with me, so I don't have to pay for it. Weather or not they are the "best" I could not say, but I've never had an issue with their P2P servers.
A good rule of thumb to make sure you stay safe is to connect before opening your torrent application, and close it before disconnecting from the VPN.
Directly from they're website, so take it with a grain of salt.
>Unlike other free VPNs, there are no catches. We don't serve ads or secretly sell your browsing history. ProtonVPN Free is subsidized by ProtonVPN paid users.
IIRC they partnered/ made a deal with Firefox. A plus for most people, but something to bear in mind.
Edit: Argument against them
Obligatory free is not free BUUT
ProtonVPN seemed to be like a good choice - no limits free trial for 7 days after that in theory you gotta buy - or just make a new account with a new burner email
Google 10 minute mail if you want a quick one
Also, try not to be an asshat, if you do use protonvpn a lot give them some bucks, I think it's like 5 a month tops
VPN is important because pirating is obviously illegal and VPN helps you stay anonymous and greatly decreases the chance of Mr. Policeman knocking at your door. I recommend not using the free ones though because there's a high chance they will sell your personal data (gotta remember that every business is intended to make money and if it's not yours, then it's most likely made on you some other way). NordVPN is the most popular and recommended. If you live in a Slavic country (Russia, Poland, Ukraine etc. ) then you don't really need to bother with a VPN at all as long as you're not pirating anything made in your country because in the majority of cases even if someone finds out the companies won't care enough to hold you responsible. You can safely download most things from fitgirl but it's better to download only the files with many comments and only if they are positive. Regarding antimalware - you're pretty much safe with windows defender and a scan with a free version of malwarebytes afterwards. Even if you had an additional antivirus you would probably have to turn it off because most of them tend to automatically mark the file as a virus even if it's okay and prevents you from opening it. Sadly I don't know much about IGG so can't help you with this one. I'm quite new to the world of infoanarchy myself so if someone has spotted some mistake I would be grateful if you pointed that out. That being said - if you have any more questions feel free to ask and I'll be happy to help if I will happen to know the answer.

idk about running though, i tried dxmd way way back, the game ran but my hardware wasn't strong enough
NordVPN, IPVanish, and Private Internet Access (known as IPA) are the three best imo.
I consider IPA the "oldest" of the three, the most likely to be detectable, afaik, and the one I used to use before switching to IPVanish.
I switched to IPVanish because IPA was being detected and blocked by Netflix, by my college wifi, and numerous other places. IPVanish (IPV) does not keep any logs, and isn't blocked by my college.
When the Russian Gov demanded that IPV and all ISP release their activity logs of their clients, IPV responded by removing all their physical servers from Russia, while still offering service to russian citizens through their countless other proxy servers. IPVanish does not keep logs so they couldn't acquiesce to any government even if they wanted to.
They value the privacy and discretion of their clients above all else, and are my favorite for that reason. If you go with IPVanish, your activity will be safe, anonymous, and they offer efficient speeds depending on your internet speeds of your ISP.
I THINK NordVPN might have the same logging policies, but mainly, they are "the VPN that isnt blocked by Netflix".
ProTip- Use a download Manager. I use Free download Manager. It's way easier to manage downloads because you can turn off your PC and continue the download on next boot plus it's faster.
Here's a link
Just use a free one. Normally I wouldn’t say that but I doubt you’re going to get in trouble for it. Try TunnelBear or NordVPN trial. Windscribe if you can’t use those trials. If you’re concerned about your data being sold etc use a paid one, but for getting around blocked torrents you should be good.
Your link says 404.
#1. I have Spectrum. I'd call them. Ask for some kind of documentation/receipt/proof of the subsequent violations. If you want to admit to doing it the first time that's your decision. I'd just say some younger family member did it while visiting and you deleted it weeks ago. Spectrum can provide you the supposed content that you are "illegally obtaining" because they can see your traffic. What they can't see are files on your PC. You haven't been doing it and you want the notices to stop.
#2. Read the MegaThread. It's literally the first post. It's a sticky. Read it FFS.
#3. Get a VPN for torrents. Nord is like $4 a month. I use Mullvad, it's $6. Pick one (not a free VPN,) and freaking use it for torrents.
#4 If you are going to torrent, and you don't know what you are doing use qBitTorrent, not anything else, and especially not bittorrent... (read the damn megathread.)
I have Private Internet Access VPN. I use deluge to host the downloads. Recently I've only been using the fitgirl repacks website for games, but I still use other sites like pirate bay and kickass torrents for other things. Click the magnet option for your downloads and your choice of torrent downloader should open (for me it's deluge), choose the folder you want it to go in. If it's a game, you'll have to install it. Make sure you follow any "readme" files or notes on the webpage with installation instructions. From fitgirls website, you just have to click "" and go through the options for installation. Once it is installing, it can take more than 7 hours depending on the game. Others only take an hour. Project cars 2 just took overnight to install
Of course. No VPN is better than a free VPN because free ones literally just send all your traffic directly to advertisers, while also providing virtually no protection. $99 for 3 years of NordVPN (with six devices) is beyond worth it for the internet security. Plus, its based in Panama so they dont have a backdoor for the government to see all your data (not a shill, i just like their service)
My apologies, but I can't answer that question. I live in a country where ISPs don't really care ans thus I dont have to get a VPN. But I heard that Private Internet Access is a good VPN. Try checking the stickied megathread, I'm pretty sure I saw VPNs there when I read it.
Nearly all free VPNs aren't worth it. I would recommend using the money-back guarantee of a better-rated VPN, like TorGuard, PrivateVPN and AirVPN. For other worthwhile alternatives, you can check this list, in which, by the way, ProtonVPN isn't very highly regarded.
Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is kind of finicky to run on win10. I have the original on Steam and had to do quite some fixes/tweaks to run it. Take a look here.
I don't know anything about that site.
Try project https://www.gutenberg.org , they have many classics and other niche books (almost 58,000).
You can also find many decent books in different formats on basic torrenting sites like Pirate Bay.
Google Books might work as well.
Denial Of Service, here's some resources that you can read to learn a bit about them:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack
https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/ddos/what-is-a-ddos-attack/
Does anyone in this sub even try to look the torrent up, before asking here? I've literally found it on Humble release day, by just typing "Getting over it with Bennet Foddy" and had to browse through not 1, not 2, but 3 4chan threads and it took almost 2 minutes of my time.
https://thepiratebay.org/torrent/18958773/Getting_Over_It_with_Bennett_Foddy
Depends entirely on your setup, what hardware you're running, what game it is etc.
Use this to see if there's anything you need to do. Be prepared to accept your hardware isn't strong enough to run smoothly, on the off chance that's the problem.
No.
Anything that forces you to install other programs than the one you're trying to crack is a red flag. You're better off finding a torrent from a more reputable site like 1337x.to (the site is currently offline, but there are plenty of proxies you can use) or other tracking sites; for example rutracker.org
What Skidrow patches?

The two I would recommend for starting out would be: https://thepiratebay.org/ and https://kat.cr/
They're both pretty good for getting use to torrenting. You'll learn about more torrent websites as you go on.
I saw .tar on linux, but not .zst. Quick googling provide how to open in windows https://peazip.github.io/zstandard-compression-utility.html But I don't know why is compressed this way. Did you download from safe source?
A much better torrent client for android is LibreTorrent. Its open source, full version no paying for additional features and ad free.
Thanks again I didn't know that about the direct download.
I always use a VPN I had Surfshark for a few years and all of a sudden I started getting copywrite hits from my ISP.
Three times I worked with tech support and it kept happening. I switched to CyberGhost and I haven't had a problem yet.
We tested Surfshark everytime before I signed off from tech support DNS was great no leaks put a tracker in my torrent client it came up with their IP and boom two days later my ISP is complain.
I got lucky I had Xfinity about six years ago and I was using Private internet access VPN one time I forgot to turn it on I got a warning.
Second warning PIA shut itself off and it didn't have skill switch then.
Third time no warning and the same as the last on it shut itself off. They banned me from Xfinity for life. I asked the guy don't you think that's a bit harsh he says I don't make the rules. He had a point so I got another ISP.
I used TunnelBear a while back since it was free, but the free version does come with the downside of limited traffic (something like 500 MB if I'm not mistaken), I've been using a paid VPN ever since and it hasn't disappointed ;)
Not versed in the technical aspects, but some VPNs apparently are configured better for P2P programs. I use NordVPN and there's a specific option to connect to their P2P VPN and it works great. Norton is generally garbage, so I'd say use a different VPN. And yeah, qBittorent.
A significant majoritynor almost all downloads from steamunlocked are DDL which, for faster speeds, requires an Internet download manager. These managers can be found on the same megathread to find the correct steamunlocked website; I believe the correct one is .net off the top of my head.
Torrents, however, require a torrenting service that can be found in the megathread, as usual. These also require a VPN though that requires some more research on your end. I have been personally using Hotspot Shield as there is a slower, limited but free version. If your Internet Service Provider sees you torrenting illegally, they may send a strongly worded legal letter or throttle speeds. The very worst is a civil suit, but everything I’ve listed legally is regarding the United States.
Tl;dr: DDL carries less real life consequences but can be drastically slower; Torrenting requires more 3rd part applications and has legal risks though it is generally regarded as faster. I can type up a better explanation later on torrents if you so require.
Sellers buy bulk compromised accounts in batches of hundreds to thousands for a few bucks then resell those accounts often checking which ones work or not. Most sellers provide warranties for if the original owner changes their password.
Some sellers do stuff like buying a Netflix account with unlimited screens then sell "spots" on the account to costshare.
I take advantage of it only because nothing negative actually happens to the original account owner, but its up to you if your morals sees that the same or not.
I will say that I have been using a NordVPN account for like 4 years now along with presumably 40+ people based on how often its getting used lol
Technically it does since it uses scanlines. There is no ghosting. And there were big ass widescreen CRTs back in the day. I had 1 that was made by Sony. In fact is was this one
Amazon.com: Sony GDM-FW900 Flat Widescreen 24" FD Trinitron CRT Monitor: Computers & Accessories
It was pretty damn good too. Till my ex-wife knocked it off my desk in a fit a rage and busted it ... I was sooo pissed!
I got that one too, just a few questions raised out of concern:
- I know that there is a max of 6 unique devices for each account, do i have to register my own device somehow?
- If i register my device, and a maximum of 6 devices is reached, will others be able to register their devices or it doesn't matter if there are less than 6 connected at a time?
- How likely is it for other users sharing the account with me to know what i'm doing?

I should probably ask NordVPN about this, but given the circumstances, im asking you.
Also, i wanna make sure that i don't end up screwing the configs to somebody else on that account, so if there were to be a button that i shouldn't be pressing, i would like to know.
Maybe im over complicating this, but i rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks a lot for the accounts tho!
Adblock: ublock origin
Antivirus: Windows Defender (it comes automatically with Windows. You don't need any extra software)
VPN: NordVPN if you plan on being a leecher (only downloading, but not uploading) because they don't allow outbound connections. If you do play on seeding as well, then either PIA or TorGuard.
TorGuard is cheap and has a money-back guarantee. VyprVPN has a free trial and Windscribe has a free version.
See other options and how they compare against each other here.
Oh man, ain't it scary how your ISP knows what you're up to online? I think a VPN is a must after something like this. The most reliable one's are probably NordVPN, PIA and ExpressVPN - they don't cost a fortune and will allow you to torrent without getting these spooky emails.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use a free VPN! They track your browsing history and give you the illusion of security while still notifying your ISP if you do something illegal. If you want a VPN network that gives absolutely ZERO shits about what you do online, you’ll have to pay for it.
I recommend NordVPN. Very easy to use, and not too expansive for a years subscription either. Torrent away!
I’d suggest looking into a program called lutris. It’s a game manager for Linux that allows you to install your titles without Much hassle. They have a discord server linked on their website that you can go and ask for assistance in. https://lutris.net is their link.
there is a new crack fix, worked for me on win 7
https://pixeldrain.com/u/CaZfU6WA
Make sure the game is up to date and all your files are original. Delete the remnants from different cracks, if you are using EXE from different cracks, make sure to USE the original EXE files that are compatible with your version of the game.
New crack by Deftones.
It does not work for me on Windows 7 but maybe it will work for someone.
...
Crackfix fixes the controls not working in some users.
It was reported to me by several users and I patched it. Tested by same users and problem solved.

You talking about the remake or the remaster?
the Remake is currently a ps4 exclusive
the remaster or the re-release steam version is already been cracked
RPCS3 would be how to do it. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there to teach you how to use the program. BUT, and this is a thicc but, you can't currently play the Last of Us reasonably.
Go to there website and download it its not big. PS3 Emulator. I have already checked there section on what games work and it says that game works fine. So hopefully you can get it working.
You could prolly play the PS3 original on an emulator, while you wait? I have no idea how well it runs NieR, but using RPCS3 ran Demon's Souls rly well, much better than the original? Sry I can't be more helpful! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If its an old game usually they don't care, as i said i got gta 5 mafia 2 and rdr 2 without any problems but when i downloaded a more recent game (mafia definitive edition) I got the message. Idk why you would risk it, you can just use a free vpn, ProtonVPN is good
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer2\save_games
Is DEFINITELY where they are in the retail version. I highly doubt a pirated version would change that.
https://www.cheatengine.org/ us a very simple cheat program, that can give u money easily.
https://www.wemod.com/ is also a cheat program with probably a more polished UI but I dont use it personally.
What i7 do you have?
What type Ram ddr3 or ddr4?
Do you have an HDD, SSD, M.2 or a Hybrid drive?
Your just saying fast and slow about how long is it taking if it's over an hour that's not good.
I just installed Marvels Avengers and I think it's 118GB it took about 30 minutes.
You only have two options download from Fitgirl and you have to install it or download from Steamunlocked or GOGunlocked and you have to unzip it.
You can follow this link it will benchmark your computer and tell you what you can run or at least give you an idea.
If your not getting UFO or I think it's Battle Ship on the benchmark then you can't run AAA titles. It will also tell you what your components are and how well they are working.
From what I can tell, and this isn't 100%, I believe they get stored in the temp file location.
Press Windows Key + R and type %temp%. Back out of the folder and view it's properties to check how big it is. I didn't do much googling but no one was 100% on the location, but I've gathered that it gets stored in a temp location.
You should be able to use BleachBit to clean out your temp folders.
Download from here
Install and Open
Now paste the download Link into JDownloader2 and start the download.

Some filehosters will limit your speed and some will additionally block pausing. Your download will then be lost if your pc shuts down or you loose connection.
My dude, I got you.
First get tampermonkey. Then add this script into it.
It'll let you download the ROMs from emuparadise as if it was working fine, turns out the download server is still active - you just need a workaround to get there.
Bro, I have been able to run it. Hurrah!
At first, the same problem appeared. Then I use the crack from this link: http://www.torrentdownloads.me/torrent/1661393451/Metal+Gear+Solid+VThe+Phantom+Pain+-+%5B3DM%5D+Crack+v2+For+v1005

Located one. Will check to see if it downloads tomorrow.
Edit: It's a new site that I am using (Russian). It appears that mods check torrents. The Frog Frenzy torrent seems validated.
Edit: You will need an account on that site. It's Rutracker if you don't feel like waiting. Also I think it comes as an exe file.
Edit: No account required. Here's link
Exactly, and seeding do not interfere with ur internet speed much because it uses ur Upload speed not ur Download speed, so u can be watching movies or whatever while u seed torrent, and when u dont feel like it u just close ur Torrent client and that's it. Speaking of clients i recommend ya PicoTorrent
Rutor is perfectly safe, every single torrent gets checked by the mods.
Scene groups don't have sites, so that link the other dude posted is fake.

I have this installed it works but the game needs a patch because the game is locked at 30 fps. This torrent takes long to download becuase it doesn't have that many seeds or peers or whatever it is called. Here's the link: https://thepiratebay.org/torrent/15974923/Mafia.III.Cracked-P2P
Use a VPN, I use ProtonVPN, NordVPN might have free trials still (not sure). Turn on the VPN before using your torrent client. I've downloaded many torrents without a VPN and never got a cease and desist letter, but I also live in butt-fuck no where.
There are more advanced/safer things you could use on top of the VPN, but not really worth considering unless u live somewhere like China, or you're doing nefarious stuff online.
You can shut it off and restart it no problem.
I hope you are using a VPN or your going to get a letter from your ISP.
Surfshark and CyberGhost are the two cheapest I've used both but I think Surfshark is the better of the two.
The free ones suck and are basically use at your own risk. They need to pay for servers so your info is definitely getting sold.
Free VPN's are a no go for pirating. You are not secure and they still log your traffic. Any data they obtain from you will be sold for marketing purposes. They need to make money somehow otherwise what's the point.
I am currently using ExpressVPN. It's pretty good, i think it's like 10 dollars a month or something I can't remember now. I pirate games every week so I feel like it's definitely a worthy investment.
While your IP is indeed hidden from the site you're visiting or torrent peer, the Hotspot Shield TOS section about DMCA which states
>Aura may, in appropriate circumstances and if technically possible, disable or terminate the accounts of users who may be repeat infringers, as well as pursue other remedies that we may have to address infringement claims.
although they also stated
>identification of users of VPN services purported to be engaging in copyright infringement by reference to their apparent IP address does not allow us to identify the specific user in question ... We also do not maintain records of which individual users accessed particular online content in connection with an apparent IP Address
So as long as the site you're downloading or torrenting from doesn't have your personal info (like if you're registering with an email) that can be linked directly to your Hotspot Shield account information, you're safe
Don't listen to them, it is highly unlikely that your ISP will do anything for direct downloads, I know lots of people who download from steamunlocked without a VPN and they're fine.
I would recommend buying a VPN or using something like ProtonVPN.
Also, don't feel bad if you are pirating AAA games from big companies. They have enough money.
Windscribe or ProtonVPN.
But neither will work to download torrents in free mode (Windscribe doesn't give you enough bandwidth and free ProtonVPN blocks torrents).
You really should buy Windscribe or ProtonVPN if you plan to torrent.
ISP stuff could be happening, aka they dont like you torrenting. Use OpenVPN Client (not connect) and ProtonVPN, I was able to use OpenVPN + ProtonVPN (free) with qbittorrent without the "Can't P2P" message, just enable anonymous mode [Settings > BitTorrent > Enable Anonymous Mode].

Download OpenVPN CLIENT, and make sure you see the screen with the lock. make a protonvpn account (i used a tempmail email, but whatever) and download the OpenVPN config files for the server of your choice (UDP is preferred). Import file into OpenVPN by right click on screen lock icon and click import file and click the opvn file. now, go back to protonvpn page and find account and go to ikev2 username/pw. use this for openvpn. now right click on that icon and click the file you imported, and use the un/pw you just had on the protonvpn page (NOT your account details, the ikev2 un/pw), click save password and click ok
Get a VPN. Suggestions are:
Pro Tip: Don't use the VPNs clients. Use the OpenVPN client as it's very lightweight and usually doesn't slow your PC down. There are tutorials on the VPNs website

Also don't get Nord you see Nord accounts everywhere while Surf and PIA don't have near as many.
This is a fucking BLATANT lie. PiHole can and does block ads on a computer. I’ve seen you on this sub and r/piracy before, you spam bullshit a lot. You advertise a lot. You rarely give meaningful advice. All your comments are the same, and often incorrect. “No good free VPN unless you want to be the product” - Cryptostorm disagrees. ProtonVPN disagrees. The latter can’t be used for torrenting but the former can.
Yikes.... uTorrent

First off, don't use NortonVPN and uTorrent lmao, they are the worst and are considered as TRASH among people here.
Get Mullvad, ProtonVPN, or SurfShark instead, those are my top picks.
Second of all, uninstall uTorrent and get qBitTorrent instead.

Some VPNs do not have Torrent options and don't support Port-Forwarding or P2P Stuff like Torrenting. So get a different VPN instead like the ones I mentioned above or go to r/VPN.
Ohhh noooooooo they were onto me this whole time!!!!!!!! :(((
All seriousness thanks for the advice, I think I'll start paying for ProtonVPN from now on, unless anyone knows something better for torrenting!
If you are really super concerned about privacy, then ProtonVPN is the only one, but it doesn't work for torrents. You could use a random free VPN or a free trial if your country's laws are that bad. Once again, I ask if you tried a different torrent app, it may work that way?
Opera and OperaGX is bad, don't use them because they aren't going to help you with piracy or privacy at all! Change to Vivaldi, its better than Opera and Opera GX. The VPN built in is fake and bogus. Its more of a proxy that doesn't help with piracy or privacy at all. Use ProtonVPN or RiseUp VPN for browsing the web and ddl. Also, you can use a DNS to stop ISPs from snooping on what you download and browse.
The massive amount of misinformation in this thread is fascinating to say the least. The basis of what you need is a good VPN to protect yourself from copyright trolls (I recommend ProtonVPN and Mullvad) a good adblocker (such as uBlock Origin, Nano Blocker). I would also download the extensions Nano Defender (which prevents sites from blocking your adblocker), Universal Bypass (makes DDLs easier and faster to download), and AdsBypasser (same thing). Antiviruses are a bad idea due to inaccurate detections when it comes to pirated files. If you want to test a crack, use a website called . It tests the file in an actual virtual environment instead of just scanning it off signatures, so you can see what the file actually does. Use the megathread on r/piracy to find good websites to download from. If you’re going to torrent, I recommend qBittorrent as a client, as it’s fast, light, free and open source.
I really like MullvadVPN as a paid service. It’s around 5 a month and they accept crypto as payment. Great speeds and built in killswitch too.
Get a paid service. If there isn’t a price on the product, the product is you.
That doesnt sound like your ISP, but rather the VPN provider. If your VPN provider is slow, your internet will be slow while connected to the VPN.

I personally use ExpressVPN and it is very fast. I have also heard good things about NordVPN which many people also seem to recommend around here.
Love ExpressVPN. I've been living abroad for 7 years, and have been using it for 2 years. Never had a problem with it, and it protects me even where I live now, a heavily controlled/monitored country (Singapore). Actually, my mistake, I'm typing this from Los Angeles.
Do you not usually torrent behind a vpn? You should always do this.
I'd recommend NordVPN or Cyberghost, both also have servers pretty much everywhere in the world.
I'd never, ever recommend using a free VPN either.
Those are pretty popular games so you should have no trouble finding proper torrents on the more popular sites, just look at the amount of seeders, leechers and when the torrent was uploaded.
As for the vpns - it depends really, but I think it's better to have one. Ironically though it has to be paid because free vpns are basically chinese malware. My suggestion would be NordVPN - it's secure and good for torrenting. You can get it for a decent price at r/vpncoupons
Well. I would not suggest since you live in a area that monitors to use any Torrenting app. Torrenting logs your IPs and makes it very easy for any copyright holder to catch you. I would only torrent with a VPN. If you want a VPN I would suggest NordVPN, ExpressVPN, PIA, and Windscribe.

EDIT: To add its not even humans that monitor... they are now bots that are programmed specifically for this. I would not suggest it at all without a VPN.
Use a VPN like others have suggested. I recommend PrivateInternetAccess or NordVPN. I personally use PrivateInternetAccess SOCKS5 proxy to torrent. Both of them are great for torrenting and are relatively cheap.
If he goes with NordVPN, this youtuber Domics is offering a special code to get 75% off a 3-Year Plan. So, in the event he decides to buy NordVPN, the promo code "Domics" could save him a ton of money. Source:
;ab_channel=Domics
Another thing you can do, is to go cut some neighbors lawns get a little bit of money and get yourself a good VPN. VPN are fairly cheap. Private Internet Access is about 6.95$ a month. With the money you make cutting grass you can get yourself a prepaid visa credit card and sign up for PIA.
NordVPN is recommended. Like I said, once the Megathread is up again, you will have enough details to be sure about things. Yes, you need to toggle it on and off as and when you need it. Keep in mind that VPNs also cost you.
You don't need a VPN to download stuff like you would normally download on the browser. VPN is suggested only while using torrents.
Back to the game you need, Just Cause 4 can be downloaded without a VPN from the site I mentioned above.
