Last I checked, Tor is still able to bypass their firewall, with obfs4 since the Tor people integrated ScrambleSuit in to that bridge. ScrambleSuit is designed to specify in dealing with Chinese's targeted Tor blocking. There are loads of other decentralized network projects to bypass the firewall or working safely within it. I2P, Freenet, ZeroNet and RetroShare.
Technically a good VPN service like or AirVPN + SSL/SSH tunneling you get a good way to bypass their firewall.

Ok, so it's working for me now.
What I did:

I connected without VPN and it worked.
Hey dude, i cant speak about Torgaurd but i use and often experience the same thing... Although maybe not quite that slow.
I have a 150mb connection but rarely get download speeds above 3mbs while using a VPN.
In general i often find that the closest server doesnt necessarily mean faster speeds, i assume it depends on the demand of that particular server and so a server further away may be beneficial if there are less people connected to it.
I'm a bit confused over free VPN proxy!?! Can you confirm/rate me this extension especially if the follow no-log policy for this free version and how much secure my traffics are?!? In case of security; I heard that, their free proxy is not encrypted; just server is allocated to bypass traffic.
If you want to try a different VPN i can recommend . A bit expensive (unless you go for a year) but fastest connection i have found in EU.
They have a free trial but with very low download cap. But should be enough to give you an idea of speeds possible.
I get my full 500mbit connection through their IPsec IKEv2 connection while OpenVPN caps me quite a bit.
Only use VPN in a few cli VM's. No desktops with VPN but i think their windows client supports it.
This has literally been an issue since day one of W10M. IKEv2 just doesn't work. I used and whenever I select Automatic or L2TP, it works fine. If I select IKEv2 it will say connected but no traffic is routed. I have been vocal on reddit and the feedback hub but no dice. It worked fine on WP8. I found a thread on xdadevelopers that had a fix that involved root access but I couldn't get it to work.
I really hate to bother you /u/jenmsft but please can you look into this? It's been an issue for two years. Thanks.
I don't know which ISP you use, but sites in Russia are meant to be banned either by IP or by URL (using DPI).
How about PornHub ban for a long period of time? LinkedIn? Internet archive? proxy service? Very unpopular sites.
You need a VPN and free VPNs are no good. I never heard of before, but check out torrent freak. They publish a list of their recommended VPNs every year. A good paid VPN will run you less than about $5/mo if you sign up for a whole year or about $10 or less on a month to moth basis.
Also go to r/VPN or r/torrents to find out more.

Wasn't Nord hacked 2 years ago? Too much on sponsorships and not enough on security. And Pure is audited by KPMG, which is one of the big 4 auditors, so untrustworthy.
I'd take Windscribe and because they didn't jerk me around like Zoog, but everyone else recommends Mullvad, so it's strange to see anyone recommending Nord, Pure and Fastest VPN.
Ho provato con e quello. Funziona in parte, non so perchè ma i siti tendono a rompersi, in parte o completamente in base al sito e al servizio che uso. Per ora però è la cosa che arriva il più vicino a farmi entrare nei siti.

A lot of VPN providers use the exact same wording.
for example. Who copied who?
Or maybe it is just what lawyers have agreed upon and supplied to Analytics platforms to add to privacy policies.
A bullshit claim regardless...
Ok guys. After I got this boring bug during 2 weeks, I finally decided to send a request to Phoenix Labs. They answer me that if all the basic manipulations don't fix the problem (like resinstalling the game, changing your ports, update your windows and graphic card etc) you have to try using a VPN. Thats what i tested. The guy in the email recommended me Windscribe or because they both have a free trial period.
Thats what I did, I installed Windscribe, created a new account and checked my email for 10Gb free trial connection. And the game works ! I tried different servers like Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland. The one which work best is Switzerland.
I hope it will work for you all guys.
(Sorry for my english)
Hmm I tried
Tunnel bear
( using currently )
And a few others, It's can slow down A LOT if you don't connect to the right servers but I didn't find any blocked VPN service at the moment
There are actually 6 of them, according to . Here's your choices:
By the way, if you enjoy their free services, you can always switch to a paid subscription.

Hey! By any Chance, is UPC your ISP? I've had similar issues with losing connection, And for me, Using mobile data through tethering and/or using a VPN while playing fixed all connectivity issues. Don't use Asian VPN-s though, as a recent post showcased that using one can get your account region locked. I recommend PIA or , the latter having a free trial, Try having a shot at these and see if the issue still remains.
Malaysian here, honestly never heard of before heh. Mudfish works well for me and I only use it when my internet provider is acting up. Mudfish is much cheaper with either pay-as-you-use or USD0.99/mo. It can be set to only work with GW2 or as full VPN.
I guess the only downside is needing PayPal to pay for it. I much prefer paying via credit card.
Se quiser grátis de qualquer jeito, as 3 que acredito dá pra arriscar mais são: app Bitmask (use a conta demo anônima), ProtonVPN e (com limitações).
If you activate the VPN while steam is already using your real IP, it ofc wont work. Close steam, activate VPN, open steam back up. And choose a location which ofc is in EU and not the Netherlands.
has a trial or free version of their VPN. Super slow but works.
/r/privacytoolsIO
Maybe I was assuming too much, but obviously you'd want to protect yourself while on a public wifi. I agree, using Https, SSL encryption as well as a VPN are all tools you should be using. There are also a number of free VPN websites. CyberGhost used to have a free plan but I think they got rid of it. Just a simple google search shows that Tunnelbear, Windscribe, etc are free VPN options. They do have a data cap, but that shouldn't be an issue if you are only logging on to pay a few bills. Obviously using your own internet connection would be the safest but sometimes people don't have $80 a month (lowest plan in my rural area) to spend for that luxury. If security is still a concern there is always the option to use a trusted friend or family member's internet.
free ones...
-Tunnel bear wouldn't work it might be ip blocked too.
-Windscribe says it is connected but it doesn't.
connects and I can browse imgur without my chrome extention enabled but the game still won't download the images.
-betternet connects and actually connects but imgur is still blocked even unlike
I don't want to pay 10-15$ a month just for one game. I got the game for only because I could get it for 4$ economy is in the shitter over here right now I can live for 2 days for 4$
no way, tried with but is not working. still in search of the right VPN possibly free or cheap. We can say that, by today, following the indications here, the following VPN doesn't work anymore for DAZN Canada:
If you knew others let's put in the list. I'll update it soon with new. Ciao
Yes, is actually one of the most secure VPNs on the market, very pricy too. You can check an in-debth info on them here.
I bit the bullet and paid for a NordVPN subscription and so far I've not been disappointed on bandwidth or latency with their servers.
seems like a great free option for general browsing (though the 2GB data cap is fine for mobile, bit low for desktop usage), what're the speeds like?
A good mobile one I recommend is . I've used it, they have free plans, and they're really speedy.
A completely free one that's just an app, no signup, is Psiphon. (No link because I'm tired as all hell, I'm sorry)
No problem. There are other options if you have any issues with either of them.
Edit: Forgot to mention it... other options like online web proxies, such as KProxy
> If they use scummy servers in Germany this might be the case for other countries as well, again i don't know, just want people to be aware of the possibility.
This isnt going to affect your security but it might affect what you can do with a connection coming out from that server (the other end of your VPN) because other websites might refuse connections from an IP hosted on a server with a known abuse problem.
This isnt unique to NordVPN. I have run into this with - and it is not, in my opinion, something that is very easy for to do anything about.
Unfortunately network abusers often use VPN's to cover thier tracks so legit users suffer by association if they are sharing the same hosts.
supposedly does not store any information about the end user, and the billing is handled by a third party (not sure if something akin to metadata or information correlation could be used to figure out user A and billing company client B, but I'd be no) and handles torrenting um... oh. linux well.
There's two levels of paid user - one that's about 6 bucks a month and the other around 11-12$ a month (but has unlimited bandwidth). the low tier gives you 75 gigs per month which is sufficient for me.
If I go over 75 gigs I just use another free vpn in the meantime. If you're just using vpn for gaming and browsing, you'll be fine.
works very well on my htc 8x. Do try their free service before paying for it though. You can create a free account on their website. Use those credentials to set up vpn on your windows phone. Use either or as the server
I have never used but there are some things that don't set well on their website. For instance they claim they keep "No Logs. Nada" but under the servers section they have a Canada server that it says can be used to bypass Government surveillance. Does that mean that not all their servers are log free?
I would check out Private Internet Access. They have been the standard in privacy and they do keep no logs which has been proven by numerous media articles. They have way more logs and are also cheaper at $6.95 with no limits on connection speed. I think they give you up to 5 devices as well. (I believe, double check that). They also accept Bitcoin if you want COMPLETE anonymity.
I'm have no relationship with them and I get no kickback, I'm just a loyal customer.

When looking for a VPN for streaming, it is important to consider the following factors:
Speed: A VPN that is fast and reliable is essential for streaming.
Bandwidth: A VPN that offers unlimited bandwidth is preferable, so that you can stream without any interruptions.
Server locations: The more server locations a VPN has, the more content you will be able to access.
Some of the best free VPNs for streaming include Windscribe, ProtonVPN, and . All of these VPNs offer unlimited bandwidth and a variety of server locations.
> Ovpn has quite a small infrastructure
They own all their servers. Unless there's no server near you, I wouldn't see this as a showstopper. OVPN speeds are top tier. Ask /u/Keldaras
> Btw any ideas about ?
Meh. is a weird one, they do some interesting things like their port-forwarding implementation, but I wouldn't rank it high in ethics and transparency. Last audit was 2015 or something.
1) I performed these tests via Gigabit ethernet. 2) The thing is, early this year i purchased surfshark and when i try to speed test via one of its servers i easily get around 700+ mbps download speed. So i think although there might be some hardware limitations, it should atleast reach 600+ mbps right?
3) I did try those 10 gbps as well 20 gbps servers but they were all the same for me T_T
4) I don't think there's any throttling since i get around 900+ mbps while downloading without vpns.
Thanks for the reccs though. Ovpn has quite a small infrastructure. Ivpn is extremely expensive. Maybe I'll stick to it and see what happens when i change my hardware.
Btw any ideas about ? Although it has some pretty shady pricing tactics as in you'll get 3 different deals if you visit the site through 3 different links. I heard it has the highest speeds and supports port forwarding too?

Hey thanks for watching my videos!
Lots of people here are biased agaisnt things like Mullvad and iVPN.
But as others have said, TorGuard and my other top rated S tier VPNs do things these VPNs do and OTHERs as well.
TorGuard is 100% clean in the reputation department. The only dirt people can find on it is competitors like shitty claiming torguard copied a ui extension 10 years ago without any proof.
If you value complete transparency, and stuff like that, wipes the floor agaisnt iVPN and Mullvad--because it also has streaming compatibility, more apps, and it was THE first VPN to be publicly audited in 2015.
WeVPN is the new kid on the block, and you can find more info about it in my reviews!
Proton vpn Windscribe

For snapchat version, you can change your ad settings along with switching wifi/data to change locations (along with VPN which you mentioned).
Snapchat Settings > Ads > You can try enabling/de-enabling the 3 options located here. The 3-rd party ad networks option is going to have the greatest impact with the other two having lesser impact. It will be a trial and error to see which ones will provide you with a different set of ads that don't cause the glitching/crashing that you have experienced.

Windscribe
Hey Tom, thanks for the reply. Yeah, I think I will now start taking that into account.
How do most people go about length of subscription? For example, WeVPN seems to be great value if you buy a two year plan, and it's one of the ones that currently works with US Netflix, but is it too risky to buy a plan that long even though it's currently one of the better ones?
Also, I may as well ask while I am here, how does WeVPN and go for accessing other streaming services geo-restricted content? For example, I mainly use Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney+, and I find that certain country's libraries have stuff that the US doesn't. What would you say is the best all around VPN service provider for accessing different regions of those services?
No free VPN will stream. doesn't allow selection of location on a free plan. Basically any other VPN will throttle the connection for streaming, unless you pay.
Alright GFY.
J'utilise Windscribe et par mois me limitent pas mal, d'où ma recherche d'un ptit vpn a 2€ max qui me couvre en P2P illimité. Mais merci pour ces liens l'ami

I wouldn't want to install a cracked/modified app that filters all my traffic and sends it to some server somewhere.
But its your choice.
Most of the time I hide users or commenters who annoy me, or are overly negative. I don't need negativity surrounding myself online. Sounds like you fell under that radar...
As to what you said, I apologize for not looking at this year yet. The old review was pretty accurate, and only 1 year or so old though.
As to unogs, I already knew about the website. That's why stream regions, as well as my subreddit, had a disclaimer explaining how I was using their public API and thanking the website for giving access to it.
ExpressVPN, PIA and offer split tunneling on macOS. (There might be others.)
ExpressVPN also offers application-based split tunneling: using the Connection per App feature on ExpressVPN’s Mac app you can create a blacklist or whitelist of apps to route through the VPN.
I tried to apply your fixes without success. recommends using OpenVPN instead of Wireguard. So I replaced the existing connection, but still am having no luck. Thank you again for your help. I have updated the images on google drive if you would be willing to take a look again.
He conveniently used two affiliate links. Totally not biased...
If you're looking for yet more, checkout my profile. I think I got pretty much all widely known VPNs but the ones worth looking at are with port-forwarding. Both Windscribe and support it albeit in different ways.
No. I'm not aware of a VPN with a split tunnel mode that behaves differently. Of others I've tested, and Windscribe both route DNS requests through their VPN's servers, when in split-tunnel mode, the same as Proton. It's not possible to completely exclude an app.
The only difference is Proton doesn't permit P2P traffic on its free servers while Windscribe and do. But both are heavily bandwidth limited.
If you are downloading less than 20gb of data you can just use the free versions of Windscribe and . Both offer 10gb a month for free for torrenting as long as you verify an email. If not, I’d recommend the windscribe build a plan which is around 2$.
Depending on how they block internet they may block access on domain names or ports. A VPN with a non-standard port may work, or access to a website that proxies your request may work. But, if they just cut off the backbone you can connect without having actual internet outside your local network, ISP network or the country.
An internet proxy where the website is used as the proxy server like:
offers VPN but their proxy works in the browser too. Tried it by accessing a blocked wite from my network and that one is accessible. But, as said, it depends on how the regime blocks your access.
If you've tried different browsers and others with the same link have no issue, I'm wondering whether it's related your ISP. Have you been able to download MEGA links from that computer and location before? It would be worth trying using a VPN which would both remove your ISP from the equation and also connect to different MEGA servers if that was the issue. If using a VPN works you know it's one of two things.
A basic free VPN such as would be suitable. You get a 10 GB monthly allowance and it doesn't require any sign up.
provides 10 gb for free per month. Thats more than enough for 1 torrent (depending on the size). Theres also nothing stopping you from creating multiple accounts. So you can literally bypass the 10 gb limit.. If you need more then you can switch accounts.

Using a VPN is safe 'if' the company is upfront about not keeping logs. Without connection logs they can't trace any activity to any specific user and so if authorities got involved the VPN company could and would say they had no information to provide. Of the free VPN providers I'd say Proton, Windscribe and are about the most upfront. What you saw with the transfer quotas, while using a VPN, is normal. MEGA's focus is on storage (directly or via importing) and sharing of illegal files rather than the downloading of them. If you don't import or store illegal files you should be fine.
I asked whether you were living in germany become Germany has very strict anti cyber crime laws, and the enforcing of these laws is just as strict. I assumed you lived in Germany since you weren't able to access it and the site was mostl likely region blocked, but that isn't the case as I'm not being able to access it too.
About VPNs, well, a paid VPN is just not worth it for minor piracy like subtitles
However, it you want to pirate regularly and don't live in a third world country that doesn't give a shit about piracy for personal use, you should buy paid VPNs.
If you don't want to pirate regularly and just want it occasionally, you can use the free VPN like
I get where you're coming from - the data could be compromised, the government could get hold of it etc. But is based in Singapore, which doesn't have such laws, and is actually paid with a free version. It's not like I'm dealing drugs or something, and my country is lenient on cyber laws, so...
Indian here. Use , which is a free vpn with a 10gb limit. It should work. I recommended this to my aunt who lives in germany and she watched the entire Dark tv series with it.

If you want free:
- Windscribe, , zoog vpn, all 15GB data limits
-Ultravpn free
Paid:
- I like surfshark personally but since you don't ok.
- Good ol' Nord VPN
- Private VPN (they have 7 day free trial)
Torrent friendly means that it runs on a port that allows p2p traffic, so you can torrent (you know what torrenting is right?).
All 9 vpns i mentioned above are free. go check it out yourself
For , it explains what will happen if you go over 10GB.
What unreliabe VPN u talking about?
If you do not torrent and want a 100% free and reliable, check out proton VPN, but all the 9 vpns are decently reliable
None of them unblocks streaming in my experience
All of them keep minimal/no logs
Proton VPN doesn't support P2P on its free servers though, so you have to pay to torrent.
Here are some reputable "free" ones I recommend that allow torrenting:
With this you can get 35GB per month, which should be more than enough. You can even spam accounts if you're that desperate.
But I still recommend you getting a paid one. A good cheap one is surfshark
den hesap açacan tamam mı sonra aynı sitede yanlış hatırlamıyorsam ücretsiz hesap bsşlatacan(kredi kartı vs. İstemiyo) sonra gşt telefonun ayarlara gir vpn ye gir yeni de sonra adres e yaz kullanıcı adı şifrede sitede açtıpın hesabınkiyle aynı yaz onları. Bide her ay ücretsiz hesabı yeniden başlatman lazım. İnternette de anlatıyolar zaten yaz Google ye vpn nadıl kullanılır diye ordan bak yap
Use Windscribe (Up to 15GB), (Up to 10GB. If you use it up, it will still work but you will be connected to a random server), Zoog VPN (10GB), Riseup VPN (Unlimited and allow P2p, but I don't know about its credibility), VPNbook (ts fuckin slow), Speedify (2GB only, but you can use overtime at a limited speed)
But I still recommend you getting a paid one. I like Surfshark, because its cheap and good.

A lot of people say that all free VPNs are bad, which doesn't really make sense. It's true that a lot are not to be trusted but some have a business model that means you aren't having your data harvested. VPN for example, their paid users basically pay for the free users.
Not all free VPNs will sell your data, particularly those that also offer some sort of paid tier that often subsidises the free users. Checking ToS and privacy policies also goes a long way. Just something to keep in mind. VPN for example, is a VPN service that operates in that fashion and is very well regarded.
There's ProtonVPN, RiseupVPN, CalyxVPN and which are free.
Also, look into DNS tunneling. If you have $2 to spare, get a random .xyz domain on NameCheap and use linode to DNS tunnel it on your computer as server, and connect on the phone to the site. It's poor man's VPN and super popular with hackers to hide their identity.
offers 5 locations, a little bit more than ProtonVPN. Also they support IPv6 natively so it's quite cool these days. They are also quite long on the market, I've been subscriber from time to time in the last 4 years. Another good provider is Windscribe but they are slow. I didn't like ProtonVPN because they throttled free accounts back then.
Playable ads have been causing a lot of issues for people. Couple of things you can try:
Reset Advertising ID
Android: Go to phone settings -> Services (or Google) -> Ads -> Reset advertising ID
iOS: Go to settings -> Privacy -> Reset Advertising Identifier
Use VPN to force loading different ads
You can try using a VPN connected to a different location and bypass the current ads loading issues. I recommend ProtonVPN as there is no daily data limits, just the speeds may vary so I'd only recommend you use it while trying to load ads for this game. Other free VPNs but with daily limits are TunnelBear, Kaspersky VPN, Hotspot Shield, Avira Phantom, , Speedify and Windscribe.

I don't do that, because it's not a problem with ProtonVPN, it's with my pc, I think. This happens with VPN. I used to be able to use vpns normally, but one day vpns stopped working on my pc. I can only use the windows vpn.
Here you have three ways to install a vpn. First: buy some apps from someone who sells a bundle of downloaded apps Second: enter in and create a manual vpn from there Third: Donwload from the web a third party AppStore apps like Ignition, app cake, etc and then download a Vpn I recommend you to enter in , it is the easy way
Sprint does not block all VPNs. If you use a VPN that is connected to outside of the US, then access to VPN with a US site and have no problems either. If I select an international site, I get the same "access denied" message.
IMHO, I think the goal of protecting all Sprint user accounts outweigh the inconvenience of a few VPN users.

I’m a big Whonix fan. It’s a little more user friendly. TempMail is a good choice. Together, yeah, it would be pretty damn difficult to backtrack anything coming from a computer equipped with that combo. TOR OS’s are free, though even they have a con or two. There are free VPN’s but almost all of them have some kind of a catch to them to get you to upgrade to a paid version. You just have to figure out which “catch” you’re ok with. Haha. TunnelBear has too many data limits, Hotspot Shield if you’re mobile, but no streaming, which, lets face one wants one they can’t stream on. isn’t bad, but no torrenting. My choice would probably be Windscribe, that one you can stream all you want to on. It lags your connection and causes some buffering but, if you’re patient enough to get past that then it’s isn’t the worst VPN to use.
Well there is ExpressVPN, NordVPN, , and IPVanishVPN are some I could find. Check for tech Youtubers such as LinusTechTips as he often gets sponsored and has discounts for express and nord pretty often. Hope this helps.
Solved: I installed a VPN software (Hotsport Shield) and connect over the USA. Now i can play in central europe.
Edit: Using as VPN tool meanwhile. You got 500mb free every 2 weeks and that's enough to play RF. Also you can connect to singapore which gives you a relatively good ping.

You are right, but the OP is not completely correct. Free VPNs are being blocked and OpenVPN is likely blocked too (along with OpenVPN port) which is why most VPN providers don't work. offers free and paid accounts. If you pay for their service, you can use another VPN protocol that will mask OpenVPN and can bypass Jio firewall. Basically, you want a VPN provider that has some advanced tools to hide VPN use from your ISP, like the ones that work in China. Hide me is one of them, but you have to get a paid account.
Every provider is different, and many of them do not work with Netflix. For example, I've used in the past, and it didn't work with Netflix at all. I switched to Surfshark later on, which successfully works with Netflix. I heard that Express vpn is also good at unblocking it.
I would suggest to get Nox.
Nox has that feature and saved my ass a lot of the times.
Worst condition get a VPN. I would recommend it works for me. It is fast and not bulky and is freemium kind. So you can get it for free but you need to login with a google account and then refresh each time. I just watch the ads and close it other times.
Start VPN and then start the instance(you know what this word mean right?) or it will go haywire.
Most reliable and fastest vpn ive ever used. Has even a nice and clean app that makes it easy to use on all apple devices. (Dont know about android.) It does everything perfectly EXCEPT fool netflix... :(
Hi there, we are currently using as vpn provider. It is used mostly to watch UK programs on catch up ( BBC, C4, ITV, etc) - Lately all the channels' catch up websites are not working anymore - we can't watch any programs. Does anybody have a vpn provider suggestion that works? Thank you.
Well most free VPNs are on a time/data limited subscription, I personally use vpn, and just create an email every time the data limit ends, aswell as avoiding downloads/youtube while I have it on so it doesn’t drain the data limit. But if you want a permanent solution then you have to pay. I recommend finding a vpn where you can use websites that provide “Temp mail” to sign up, this used to be the case for then they made it so you can’t but there are many other vpns where you can do that (Temp mail is basically the easiest way to create an email, literally a single click and you have a 24 hours mail)
Guys ! I've found a solution. I started to play again since a week and the game has still this shitty problem with 3g/4g ( I'm using IOS ). So i had that idea to use VPN on my phone like a last hope to fix this problem and ITS WORKING ! Unfortunatelly it has disadvantage what is the provides only 500 MB data traffic to you but with this solution you can play on 3g/4g . I hope i could help you. :)
