I can point you to several rapists that have gotten less than a few months or even less than a month for violent rape.
She didn't accuse anyone specific so she only ended up wasting police resources. It was a first offense and non violent. Probation is absolutely normal for this case.

However, I’m mostly speaking from my experience as a military investigator where I worked several of these types of cases.
A bat probably isn't the greatest idea though, too big to put under the seat and would be hard to explain, although taking a ball would help the story.

According to this CNN article , she did not report the rapist to the authorities, she was denied an abortion because she was 14 weeks pregnant, while abortions are only legal up to the tenth week in Turkey and she killed the man to “protect her honor”.
How anyone can defend such behavior is beyond me.

James Duane of the famous Don't Talk to the Police video recommends in his book You Have the Right to Remain Innocent that you should explicitly ask for a lawyer instead of pleading the fifth. He cites a supreme court decision that makes it so the fifth amendment no longer has the protections it used to have. Explicitly stating you want a lawyer and then remaining silent is your best option.

Ten weeks seems like a bit of a tight window, but I guess it's defensible, though it's not unusual for women to realize they're pregnant until after that window has passed. What's not defensible is rape, particularly repeated rape plus extortion, and killing and beheading people, for vengeance, "restoration of honor" or other reasons.

School is not the government, the overriding duty of the school is to provide a safe and inclusive environment to all it's students to ensure education needs are met. I know a 32 minute podcast on why people say "The thing is Is" and the reason for "Mine's is ..." could be similar?
The short version is just like with blending words like "breakfast and lunch" giving you "brunch" you can also blend entire clauses and when that happens sometimes if you on the fly switch the way you structure the syntax of the sentence subconsciously then the two "is" get left next to each other.
So you can say "The problem is he can't sing..." and "This is the problem - he can't sing..." but if you start with the first phrase and switch after "the problem is" to the second phrase "is he can't sing" then what you end up with is "'The problem is' 'is he can't sing'".
Applying that to this situation I think the cop might be thinking at the same time "Mine's not" and "This is real" or something along those lines. So if he subconsciously restructures those sentences to mirror the syntax of what the robber is saying, "It's fake! It's fake", mid-sentence after saying "Mine's" it comes out as "Mine's is real".
