The only thing I am missing is more combos/fighting moves. Reapeating the same 5 moves over and over gets repetitive. I would like to have more options to master.

Are you mad? Axes hit incredibly hard and reward players for learning behemoth attack patterns and downtimes. If they made axes hit deadly accurate from all angles regardless of behemoth, the entire game would be easy mode. There is a reason the weapon that hits up to 2k without major boosts isn't as nimble and quick to attack as the sword.
TL;DR, most of the things you addressed are already listed in the roadmap. Read it before making a complaint thread.

They actually are adding pets, but being able to complete all of this years future content in a week is a little over-the-top.
The game is getting weekly updates now too, instead of the long waits we got before 5.0 came, so that should keep players coming back on a weekly-to-monthly bases.
I think they do a good job of telling us what they are working on and fixing. I mean we've had confirmation that Echo and cells are being fixed since June 21. Dauntless Roadmap has everything confirmed in the next patch. Apparently patch notes should be coming tomorrow.

Is it 18? I remember reading Steam was 30 and Epic was 7, but yeah, it felt a bit low. Upon researching, I found this though: https://www.epicgames.com/store/about which clears it up a bit: for a game made with UE on Steam, you have to take out Valve's 30% and Epic's 5%, while publishing on EGS it's only 12%, which makes Steam's cut 3x. And for a relatively small studio the difference between 65% and 88% might be big.
Anyway, again: if players don't want to switch over to EGS it's their decision and I respect that, I'm just saying that PL didn't strike a deal with the Devil, they're just doing what a sensible company would do: find the best way to stay alive, that's it.

The roadmap under elemental effect trigger change. Basically cb/pike are going to be the best elemental proc's because they hit the most and all elemental procs are moving to /hit instead of the current /damage

I have a theory that we will be getting our own ships. During closed Beta a NPC, which is still in game but we can no longer get missions from. Gave missions that earned us the title of captain from the Bosun, and stated we had our own ship. An that the alchemy guy "Bosun"would be part of our crew. Now i don't know if this combat is about use fighting more in the air while say powered by some new type of aether vent or us in our ships fighting from the ships..which would be flippin awesome.
EDIT: To add to this. We have that awesome dock that no one even looks at as well as a smaller dock in the left as you load into the town of ramsgate. I think with several more islands added in the future and even more behemoths to hunt. That we might get to fly ourselves in a way to hunt things. we already have a ready room in the ship so. I mean i'm just putting this all together in hopes. But alot of content that was in closed beta isn't in game atm. I don't know if it was removed for game progression changes or what. But we had several other npc's that gave missions. To include a rivalry with a mercenary group. Which once upon a time are the guys that taught us how to use pikes in closed beta.

My point is, just because behemoths aren't being churned out monthly doesn't mean the dev's aren't working on anything. It is fairly easy to reach the endgame and farm up reza's and shrowd's gear up to +10 and that is where the progression pretty much stops. If you want you can continue grinding the dire's as the rotate in but if that is not your thing, its not your thing. Nothing wrong with taking a break. I will say though, I've noticed that the 'effects' graphical option affects my performance the most. I have everything set to Epic, other than 'effects' which is at low.

Edit: I had an idea about how the weapon unlock / progression system is had how to tweek it. what if you have the axe and war pike unlock after you have the chance to encounter the beast the the design can be created from. like after you kill the quillshot you get the war pike and after you kill (I think its skarn) you get the design for the axe. So when you go back to the weapon smith and show him the rewards from killing the beast he tells you something along the lines of "leave this here with me I have an idea for a new design" then after 1 hunt or so when you talk with him. When you do he tells you something like Great news I have that new design ready for you to test.
this way people are not waiting to unlock there weapon but it gives you a way in add new weapons without it being a grind.

I hope these will be detailed more when everyone settles back in, because this current form is pretty vague. For example, "behemoth differentiation" could mean anything. A lot of them also have kind of back cover-ish descriptions of a general goal, rather than listing what's actually being worked on.
Compare this to the Eden Star or Subnautica boards, which give much more insight on what to expect. Rather than saying something like e.g. "additional enemies", it'll list exactly what those are, and what stage they're in, even if it's just a concept. If it's in the "in development" phase, there could be a lot to share, things that are more concrete than just concepts or ideas.
Hopefully once everything gets back into gear we can learn more about the individual tasks. Having a roadmap on trello is something too few developers do, and it's welcome.
It's on the dauntless road map to be revisited under 'player feedback', additionally Weapon and Combat variety, where combos are being added, as well as more mechanics for weapons.
It has also been said that the reworked elemental system (WIP) will help Chainblades more than other weps (I assume since it can quickly deal elemental damage, and easily)
Take it with a grain of salt, since a lot of this is based on my own opionion/observation:
I always find someone to group with in T4 areas, but it has been declining. The fact that Phonenix Labs has stated that another wipe at open beta is "probable" influences this for me at least. I'm waiting for the phase where I can be sure my progress is kept. Not sure about lower tiers, but I'd say most players are already in T3-T4 and there are not that many new players coming in since it's gated behind Early Access buy-ins / luck to get a beta key.
I live in Germany and EU servers are perfectly fine for me. NA has serious rubberbanding issues for me.
You can purchase a boost to your Core exp by a certain percentage. Cores contain random cells (random effect and random rarity) that you can socket in your equipment. While it may not be considered pay to win by many, it is a way of obtaining those cells faster with real money. Other stuff in the shop is just cosmetic.
Not much to do after reaching the highest tier of behemoths and doing the weekly and event encounters. You can go for speedruns, soloing the hardest behemoths, obtaining and upgrading all the gear sets, etc. but that's up to you, so part of the meta gameplay. Depends on your skill/knowledge of the game. Some people can jump through the tiers without upgrading their gears because they are familiar with their weapons, all the behemoths and their movesets. Others might have to grind a bit more to upgrade their gear (= doing the same behemoth ~10 times, on average probably 10-20 minutes each behemoth). For me that's not a grind at all, others might think doing the same behemoth 10 times is a grind - very subjective.

This happened to me, I contacted Dauntless Support. We went through a few steps, but what ended up working was updating my GPU drivers, DirectX, and DotNet Framework.

Ok guys. After I got this boring bug during 2 weeks, I finally decided to send a request to Phoenix Labs. They answer me that if all the basic manipulations don't fix the problem (like resinstalling the game, changing your ports, update your windows and graphic card etc) you have to try using a VPN. Thats what i tested. The guy in the email recommended me Windscribe or because they both have a free trial period.
Thats what I did, I installed Windscribe, created a new account and checked my email for 10Gb free trial connection. And the game works ! I tried different servers like Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland. The one which work best is Switzerland.

Yes, there's a roadmap online with a 6th weapon (Ostian Repeaters/Pistol) soon to be added. As for more behemoths, just a stronger version of the ones you are fighting, as we're still waiting for the last 5 to be added. There was a rumor that they'd make stronger behemoths past the final 3 bosses in the game (heroic Koshai, Rezakiri, and Shrowd), but we still don't know what they have planned. A lot of your suggestions sound like you'd enjoy it going more of an MMO direction, as opposed to boss fighting/gear upgrading rotation game. Being an MMO junkie myself, I'd love to have an MMO as fun as Dauntless is available currently, but I reckon we'd be disappointed if we expected them to go this direction anytime soon. :)
Maelstrom armors are more than likely placeholder assets. The icons are different than the original set of armor. It is also in the "in development" section on Trello.
An UI overhaul (which is coming, according to their roadmap https://trello.com/b/6gfIQvwi/dauntless-roadmap) would hopefully include this. This is such an obvious things they should add, I assume they won't forget this.

So far I have been happy with my investment, you also get a slayer key with the founders pack, which is something you can share with your friends and get them in the game if they are interested. Supporting a game is a personal decision and is quite subjective decision as no one can tell you how what to do with your hard earned money, however if you ask me I have loved all the hours I have spent in the game, things need improvement and they have been improving it, maybe the timelines are quite ambiguous and need to be planned better. Do yourself a favor, put in your mail and check if your mail has ever been leaked in a data breach. Chances are pretty high and Epic has nothing to do with it. People love to use same passwords everywhere and be surprised why on earth they get login notifications on SEVERAL platforms.
On the REGULAR DATA BREACH part, I would love to hear more about your sources, cause I simply can't find any. The only "breach" people are talking about is not a breach. It was a vulnerability like most platforms suffer more than once. Even with the vulnerability all accounts were perfectly save except for those, where users decided to click shady bit.ly links eventually giving others access to your account. If you never clicked that link you were PERFECTLY fine and not affected by the vulnerability, OR the "breach"

I just installed the game again to check. I published this usual config tweak to change the FOV from horizontal to vertical works but as expected, it zooms out way too much.

Well, they had their own launcher forever ago, and then opted for the epic game route to get the whole crossplay deal more easily. So You pick your scenario, and follow the directions. I personally didn’t have any issues and I routinely swap between Xbox, pc, and switch. Maybe you already linked your epic account to your device to play fortnight or something because that would completely negate some of these steps.
Yeah, you can access your already installed games without logging in should you need to.
Dauntless would be excluded from this since it requires some online services to run, but yes, there is an offline mode. Heres the announcement when it was added in feburary.

Sweeney def. gives some mixed signals, but as a company I can't remember them saying like "No Linux ever!". I'd still argue that by this point their biggest concern def. isn't supporting a small platform like the Linux desktop. And I'm saying this as an avid Linux enthusiast. The Epic Games store also runs with Lutris ( https://lutris.net/games/epic-games-store/ ) and so does Dauntless ( for me at least ).
So with both of your suggestions, you lose overall damage bonuses from Ragehunter or Savagery for a passive regen. I do agree that the name of the game is optimizing damage, but form what I've seen of cells and considering Rage and Razor are both neutral damage, the only difference is a loss of Pacifier. Basically in most optimal savagery or pacifier builds, ragehammer overlaps too much with ragehunter and you get +7.
Also conditioning although passive, I don't feel is nearly as good of stamina management as what you get with Razor and in-line reloads. As there has to be a period of time before conditioning kicks in.

I found a work around in https://joytokey.net/en/ software, like you can bind RB to left click and it will work. I'm not sure, there can be delay, which can matter for an attack button, but in my case - with sprint and interact it works very well.
Works perfectly fine for me. I'm using the Ryochan7 ds4windows fork from here (the original one by Jays2Kings isn't updated anymore) as well as hidguardian for exclusive mode (instructions are on the github wiki).

I remember some years back they said they removed African server and I think they listed their servers there, but I don't recall a Singapore one. How do you know?
I use Avira Phantom VPN and I just checked the IPs are 54.x.x.x, 34.x.x.x, 18.x.x.x, 3.x.x.x those are all amazon cloud USA servers (Virginia and others) and total ping is 300+ms.
I've been in the game since that time. It was an occurrence sometimes after a patch. The issue hasn't been this serious until recently. They might have removed this post because they already acknowledged the issue officially and don't want repeat posts of this. I'd say if you really like the game give it a chance, it's a free game. I use Avira Phantom VPN that works (I used torrent to use it freely). There's also UrbanVPN that's free but wasn't too reliable for me.

Called pixel studio, by far the best I have found, allows for real scale small pixel art but can be made larger when saved to avoid blur, also has great tools to turn into gifs aswell as diffrenet color pallets!
Weirdly enough you can get the artbook by itself, just not from PHXL. Google "The Art of Dauntless" and you'll see it sold from several places (like amazon).
The standalone version has a different cover but I'm pretty sure the contents inside is the same in both versions.
what a VPN will actually do for you is connect you to a server 'closest' to the vpn
for example: if the European servers are down you can use a VPN to connect to the American servers if you are willing to put up with more ping.
A VPN i can reccomend is 'ProtonVPN':

Copying this from down below. Sounds like you're outside US but this was a relatively cheap option for me. I've tried tons of other possible solutions like firewall passthrough, port forwarding, etc. and nothing works except VPN for some reason.
Well most free VPNs are on a time/data limited subscription, I personally use vpn, and just create an email every time the data limit ends, aswell as avoiding downloads/youtube while I have it on so it doesn’t drain the data limit. But if you want a permanent solution then you have to pay. I recommend finding a vpn where you can use websites that provide “Temp mail” to sign up, this used to be the case for then they made it so you can’t but there are many other vpns where you can do that (Temp mail is basically the easiest way to create an email, literally a single click and you have a 24 hours mail)
Try VPN. I used some VPN called Hotspot Shield and I can play. Problem is that free version of this program disconnects once per every 30 minutes so... :D I have same problem and Im not even from australia..

Nothing special, but I enjoy it. It's the LG 34UC79G-B. It's a 34" 2560x1080 144Hz AH-IPS 1800R Curved Ultrawide w/FreeSync. LG just released their G-Sync version of this same display, but coming from an Nvidia enthusiast, DO NOT buy into G-Sync (That's a tech discussion for another time).
Pixel density is the same as a 27" 1920x1080 16:9 display since both sizes share the exact display height, so sitting about a foot from it, it still looks absolutely amazing.
