(179946), but it's in Chinese.
You'll have to go to a different website to get it in English.
Regardless, I highly recommend Meme50's works if you like Milf's.
According to NortonLifeLock, Tumbex.com is safe, but I would still keep your adblock and firewalls up.
Website I used to check:
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show_mobile?name=tumbex.com
Link to English version:
You should probably report them and let Reddit figure it out.
Are they offering to pay you for beta testing? No? Then why the fuck do they think you should want to perform free labor? Yes? They are scammers.
I mean, PMing randoms on Reddit is very simply not how this process works. There are multiple subs dedicated to finding beta-testers on Reddit, let alone the rest of the web.
You can try scanning the link, just Google "Is this link malicious" and you'll find several different sites that offer the service...including Norton. But meh, I find the results to be lacking in general. You can try copying the text of the PM they sent you and seeing if it appears elsewhere online.
Edit: down voted for*???*
Edit: >you might not be able to find it too easily via Google (yet) since we are currently working on SEO
Shouldn't they be able to tell you exactly where to find it, though? They make no sense. Honestly, I've never heard of anyone being messaged/texted an unsolicited link that ended up being anything more than spam/scam.
Edit: Malware issue I had was explained further down.
Norton's safe web has no issues with this site, but it may contain dangerous ads as anywhere else on the web.
its flagged by norton too.
anyone notify the webmaster for that site to check for autorun infs?
edit: just checked the full report for the site and its saying drive by downloads looks like my hunch was on the money.
edit2: heres another report with more detail confirming the compromise
attempting now to locate webmaster email address via whois to notify him of the sites compromise.
edit3:notified godaddy abuse reporting done what i can its out of my hands now.
edit4: 24 hour update looks like malwarebytes is saying its clean but norton being norton is still saying dirty most likely safe now.
This account is a fake and his links are attempts for phishing attacks. Don't trust.
Scanned one of his links via Norton
Why are you afraid to download Dolphin? The website looks pretty safe to me but maybe I'm overlooking something.
http://www.dolphin-emulator.com/
There's a website to check if Norton, the antivirus company, thinks a website is safe. I entered the above URL and got this report, which says it's safe.
Hi.
As per your own screenshot: "Content from dianany.com, a known malware distributor..."
This means someone linked something from dianany.com on the chatroom > and since dianany.com is blacklisted by Google these kind of warnings show up. The content is not added to the wiki nor is your computer in danger unless you are visiting dianany.com.
With over 2000 active users in the chat constantly, it's impossible for us to ban every domain Google blacklists from the chat - the warnings are not about the wiki, which is certified secure by daily scans: http://app.webinspector.com/public/reports/23440647
It would seem these kinds of threads are usually quick to come up on Reddit as a form of fear mongering, instead of contacting us or doing a search for site security: https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdarksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com
awstrack.me is just a general domain that is used by AWS - it could be flagged by some reports of a bad actor using this but that doesn't automatically turn AWS malicious.
Thanks for all your hard work, I really do appreciate it. Have used FMS a bunch in the past but after my PC got infected earlier this year (not necessarily from FMS) I'm trying to cover all my bases while browsing.
Not clicking on any ads or suspicious links is of course a no-brainer go-to-practice but I have other less internet savvy people using my PC to watch footballhightlights and streams.
FYI nortons safe web has FMS listed as safe so I do believe you are telling the truth.
These seemingly well-known companies show the site as safe:
https://www.google.com/transparencyreport/safebrowsing/diagnostic/#url=archive.is
Show the Norton Safe Web page to them. The only viruses are within free models that pass to other free models you use and only free models. The computer is not harmed.
Were you aware that Norton lists your link as a scam?
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show_mobile?url=theunittakeover.com
Even if it wasn't, whoever told you that trying to advertise on reddit (without even paying for it and supporting the site) is a good idea was lying to you.
I submitted a dispute with Norton and my site is no longer categorized as malicious.
Thank you for letting me know about this issue!
You can use websites like these: https://safeweb.norton.com/ to check if there is anything blatantly bad in it.
I however doupt anything serious happened. Changing you password was definetely the right move to make sure, but as u/OnlyInformation1000 has pointed out, wix.com is a service to build your own website. It's pretty hard to do anything harmfull to someones computer just by clicking a link, mondern browser protect you pretty well, as long as you don't download stupid shit.
blacklisted by mcafee and nicely explained why. https://www.siteadvisor.com/sitereport.html?url=thps-mods.com
norton alerts are not even related to thps, it's from trainer downloads for various games, which is not what i'd download anyways. https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=thps-mods.com
google reports about "rarely downloaded files". that must be suspicious and malicious. https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=thps-mods.com
Scam site for sure.
Things that are wrong with this site: Weird prices in GB Pounds (the site is supposed to be UK based), nobody would make those kind of prices in their own currency.
No direct contact or return address.
Bottom bar with symbols from Mastercard, DHL and Norton is just one big picture. Usually these icons are supplied as 1 icon for Norton, 1 for Mastercard etc.
The Norton icon isn't linked to Norton's own site like it should be.
When manually looking up the Norton listing for the site it shows up as not having ANY active seal -https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=cjsnorwich.co.uk and https://trustsealinfo.websecurity.norton.com/splash?form_file=fdf/splash.fdf&dn=www.cjsnorwich.co.uk&lang=en
When looking up the WHOIS records it shows an individual registrant from UK with both names being lowercase (claire brown) and registered on a normal address, not a company address. Surely a big site for a homecompany - https://www.whois.com/whois/cjsnorwich.co.uk
There is no third-party SSL certificate (https) - the certificate is faked as made by "localhost" and last until 2044. Almost all SSL certificates run out after a couple of years.
The payment is handled directly on their site (I ran a fake order). This should never happen without a valid SSL certificate, smaller companies don't buy certificates because they have another site handling payments which is okay but this one wants card details directly on their site.
Always look for sites with contact information and address.
Check it against their whois records (some hiding is possible and commonly used, even on larger companies)
Check their supposed seals of trust, usually a click should open Norton or Mastercard's site.
Stay safe Kristian818 - Moderator of computer_help
I am not dismissing it outright, but Norton is the only site saying it isn't safe, which is also odd.
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show_mobile?name=tubeunblock.me
They give a number of threats, but ZERO details about what those threats could be.
I personally never use Norton because I found removing it to be worse than any actual virus I have ever had, but this was quite a few years ago.
IMO the only good thing Norton offers is this site. Useful for a rough/dirty check if a site is safe. Looks "safe" but the question is why you are getting redirected there. Do you get redirected from any site you go to or just your home page?
Just to let you know that norton connectsafe dns is currently blocking your download url:
You get this instead: Malicious website blocked! d1th2p59px32bw.cloudfront.net
This website may be dangerous, and it is recommended that you do not continue. For your protection, this site has been blocked.
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=d1th2p59px32bw.cloudfront.net
You may need to get in contact with them.
Clicking a link cannot install a Trojan on your mobile phone. This is true for both Android and iOS. Regarding the site, as was already mentioned, it is a phishing site.
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=directingfwd91.ddns.net
As long as you didn't input your credentials in there, you should be fine. If you DID input your credentials, you should change your password immediately. Also be sure to enable 2FA.
when i run the url through https://safeweb.norton.com/, it says it’s fine
the url that gets flagged by the app isn’t the homepage but it does have the correct domain in it. I don’t know anything about this stuff and really want to work out of its a false positive or not so i can contact storygraph about it and let them know what’s going on
Outside of looking at the site code yourself, which can be very tedious and doesn't always glean much, you can throw it through these: https://safeweb.norton.com/ https://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com/ https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search
https://safeweb.norton.com/
This is the link I send to my colleagues whenever they try to analyze whether the link is safe. If it is a green check, then it's good to go. If yellow or gray question mark, be cautious. If red, then I suggest don't visit that site.
For links sent to you in emails. Paste the url into Norton safeweb. Note the warning. Do not click links, this is a safe way to check a url before you enter the webpage. If you do not have adequate browser protection some websites can infect your phone just by entering the website. This is clearly a phishing link, the NHS does not use ".Com" sites.
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=https%3A%2F%2Fnhs-uk.form-pass.com
The reason is that new codes are released all the time and sharing a website that keeps updating them is more useful than posting every time a new code is released. There are around 40 currently active codes right now.
If you're really worried and don't use a browser protection service, there are free services like norton safeweb (https://safeweb.norton.com/) which check a particular url for security issues.
Norton SafeWeb identifies this site as a "known dangerous" web page and blocks it. Might want to dispute that so they can review the analysis. You can do it at the link.
never heard of it, norton says it's dangerous and it might just be one of those "sites" that grab content and try to get ppl to click on the link. def report it as malicious to google search!

This is a better example:
# Start ComObject $ie = New-Object -ComObject InternetExplorer.Application
# Make it visible $ie.Visible = $true
# Navigate to the website
$Norton = "https://safeweb.norton.com/" $UrlVoid = "https://www.urlvoid.com/"
$TestSites = @($Norton, $UrlVoid) foreach($url in $TestSites){ $ie.Navigate($url) while($ie.Busy){ Start-Sleep -Seconds 1 }

You'll have to look for the elements initially by right clicking them and selecting Inspect Element.
First make sure the URL as bad. Some simple free sites to check the URL would be https://www.virustotal.com or https://safeweb.norton.com/ will tell you what the site is and might inform you of a known malware or virus that uses them.
Next use those two tools to see where svchost is being executed from. They should be running under services and the path will be system32\ folder.
Interesting. https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=www.crackedconsole.com https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=www.crackedconsole.com&hl=en
It checks out on every URL I've tested.
none of actually trying to copy are good and a lot of fake sites that say verified by norton/mcaffe when really they copied the image from google
make sure to google norton site checker if it has a norton logo if the site checker doent have a good on it it is almost for sure a fraud
Site has a 10% safety rating according to scamadviser.com which itself has a rating of "OK" on norton.com if that even means anything.
I’ve never heard of it until now. I just looked it up on https://safeweb.norton.com but the site isn’t tested yet. But yeah, it does look shady as hell.
I guess you could block it for a while until you’re certain it’s safe. You can see if it’s safe by checking that site i’ve linked every now and then.
i keep getting downvoted yet this program uses BITDEFENDER engine. anyone that downvoted me please tell me why BITDEFENDER would licence their engine to these guys if its a virus....
also NORTAN syas its safe....
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.iobit.com%2Fen%2Findex.php
you need to make sure the escrow service you want to use is trusted by the public , you can do this by putting the website name in https://safeweb.norton.com , it is owned by norton (my favorite antivirus company) , if you put in the website https://safeweb.norton.com and see a list of negative reviews please do not use , if you see all positive reviews then it can be trusted , if you do not see any review then it can not be trusted .
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show_mobile?name=howtoremove.guide
> what is the domain.guide?
It's a TLD (top level domain) such as .xyz, .tv, etc...
Long ago, TLDs where quit restricted (.com, .edu, etc..). You can now have about anything you want.
I just scanned it with several web-based scanners and it comes back as safe/clean. The website (and those particular files you mentioned) are however listed in Norton's blacklist website though.
My guess is these files may have been infected in the past and has since been fixed or Norton misdiagnosed it.
George (or the website admin) should take a look at https://safeweb.norton.com/help/site_owners to get the site reassessed by Norton and removed the the blacklist. It can hurt Google rankings etc if it's left on there.
When I tried to go to this site, Norton blocked it and provided this information as to why: https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=www.charlespetzold.com
Threat Name: Trojan.FakeAV
Location: http://www.charlespetzold.com/src/ProgWin95.zxp
I changed the file extension so no one accidentally clocks on it.
If you haven't a proper Anti-virus with live browsing protection included, you can always use Norton's test prior:
All you do is go to there site, then enter the website you are curious about. Norton then tests it for you.
As for zavvi.com, Norton says it's safe.
If you are so smart, get a vm and visit the website yourself? http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/goes.gsfc.nasa.gov.html https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgoes.gsfc.nasa.gov%2Ftext%2Fgoes.fulldisk.html Looks safe to me. I guess Norton is in on the conspiracy now?
See my explanation of how digital cameras work. To get a desirable resolution image of the whole Earth disk for analysis purposes, you would need either a huge sensor area, or a pixel density not achievable using current technologies. Instead, the camera field of view is narrowed - basically zoomed in and many images are taken. These are composited together to display, but composites themselves are not really used when creating the data products 9- like weather forecasts.

Per /u/EelKat's report, I've examined the target page and I'm not seeing any suspicious injections or other suspicious content in the source, nor any ads/off-site content that could have been compromised. It appears that Norton's SafeWeb feature reports a phishing threat (probably resulting from a compromise of the server, not malice on the website operator's part) which has already been taken care of by the website owner but not updated in their database—I'm not sure if this is what their antivirus was reporting.
For the time being this looks safe and uncompromised, but we recommend all users be vigilant, take precautions, and be knowledgeable of risks and possible means of infection, as you always should.

https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youronlinenews.info
Can you tell me why the report reads as it does? You've been posting a lot of links.
Pelo que estou a perceber, a norton fez o seguinte scan: https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?product=ask.com&action=info&source=CNTSAFE&version=&ulang=eng&url=dreambox-help.info
E descobriu lá um virus:
https://www.symantec.com/security_response/attacksignatures/detail.jsp?asid=24312
I tried that link and my Norton security software blocked it as a possibly dangerous website, so I could not view it.
Are you sedevacantist? If so, I concur with SsurebreC that you could indicate that with your flair to readers here.
Hm, that is an idea.
However, I don't always have my computer on, or at home, so local woudn't work well. And I would rather not have to pay for one.
I thought I would just use OpenDNS's dns server on my linux rigs. Execept that when I try to go to use.opendns.com, yeah, "malicious" too. Except this time safeweb.norton.com says it isn't. The hell.
But yeah it sounds funny. :)
Edit: I found the video. Turn on subtitles, "oh my sweet so much add".
FYI my Norton antivirus software stopped me from browsing the wildfire website
Why do you say it contains malware? I have nothing to do with the site, never even heard of it. But it looks okay to me? The download links that I saw just link to adfly then the downloads you asked for. Adfly is common when you download minecraft mods.
Although I do agree that not enough mods is way better. Especially because it links to the original creators pages and their adfly (if they use it) so the profit goes to them.
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http%3A%2F%2Fminecraftsix.com
its a personal website. no phishing. The hosting server might be blacklisted :/
edit: just checked Norton says the website is safe.
Yikes. Ok. Well mark that one off then.
edit:
I didn't get any odd behavior when I visited. I went back and ran the site through Norton Safe Web and came up with this. So that's weird.
where are seeing that? I just checked McAffe,Norton, and AVG...all are reporting clear health. LMK if you are seeing something else.
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/tradepub.com
https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=tradepub.com
http://www.avgthreatlabs.com/website-safety-reports/domain/tradepub.com/
Okay...well there's nothing "sketch" about the site, run a site test if you're worried.
Norton ( rated safe) https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=whufctv.com
AVG (again, rated safe) http://www.avgthreatlabs.com/website-safety-reports/domain/whufctv.com
Just because your work haven chosen to ban a streaming / news site, does not mean it's "sketch"
I'm using Chrome & Avast. Both seem to approve of the website. Also Norton finds nothing.
Edit: Looks like the second page that triggers this. I can't figure out why though. It hasn't attempted to make me download anything or get information off me. It didn't do this a few weeks ago.
The thing with that is it's really easy to put a logo on a site and say it is certified by ....
but I guess if it has the logo and you check on Norton and it comes up with this result... it's a good bet it's not real: https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.oakleyhost-ca.com
