Download Avast and also Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Both are free and do a decent job. You may also want to download CCleaner to clean up your computer a little.
You can get them using https://ninite.com/ for easy installation.
If you are on Windows and have VLC Media Player, right click one of the links and copy the link address and in VLC hit ctrl + N and then paste the link and hit enter. Or on the top left in VLC Media Player click on "Media" and then "Open Network Stream" and then paste the link. If you have Windows 10, you can just paste the link into Microsoft Edge and then it should work.
I don't have a Mac but other users have said right click, copy link address, open iTunes, hit command + U, paste the link but replace the http with itls. Or its the same for VLC on Mac just command+n and then paste the link.
If you want to watch it on your android phone you can use an app called MX Player, just copy the link adress and then hit the three dots on the top and then Network Stream and paste the link.
I don't have an IOS device but you can look for a VLC media player app and then look for Network Stream in the app and paste the provided link.
If you have a Chromecast, you can cast a VLC link on your TV with this app.
If you're on mobile like me, I always use this app to stream to my Chromecast when I can't find a YT link. Just plug in any of the links on here and it will scan the page for videos to cast.
If anyone is interested in streaming this game on a Chromescast and owns an android device, I have a working solution going on right now.
This should work for any m3u8 stream. And I'm sure there is probably a similar iPhone app out there somewhere.
If you are on Windows and have VLC media player, copy one of the links above and in VLC hit ctrl + N and then paste the link and hit enter. If you have Windows 10, you can just paste in link into Microsoft Edge and then it should work. Not sure about Mac but you should be able to get VLC and do the same thing.
If you want to watch it on your android phone you can use an app called MX Player, just copy the link and then hit the three dots on the top and then Network Stream and paste the link.
If you have a Chromecast, you can cast a VLC link on your TV with this app. Pretty easy to use as well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instantbits.cast.webvideo
>I am assuming I have to apply the VPN, then purchase the international League Pass option.
Correct. The International League Pass website will redirect to the US version if you're not located (or VPN'd) out of the US.
>After doing so, do I have to keep the VPN?
In my experience, no. You can turn it off. However turning off the VPN after the games been playing for awhile doesn't really speed anything up from my experience.
>Would this method include nationally televised games and playoffs?
National blackouts don't apply to International.
>Does using a VPN after purchasing the US work?
In my experience, no (I have US and Intl accounts) Didn't work last year and so far in preseason it still doesn't work.
I'm near Sacramento, the Kings game vs Lakers game gave me the blackout despite trying my VPN location in San Jose, CA / Salt Lake, UT / Houston, TX
I'm not sure what additional checks are being done to prevent a VPN from working. I'd love to know. The US version feature wise is much better.
That being said, NBALP is garbage across the board and they should be ashamed. Not worth a $1. But I refuse to pay my Cable company shit above what I already do and I love basketball.
Also - I'm using HideMyAss VPN service.
Windows 10 Edge Browser or macOS Safari 10+ only! click here for a compatibility list
Enjoy and show some love, if you like it!
NO ADS, just the plain stream!
Depending on your ISP it’s 3-6 strikes then you’re out but HBO seems more willing to send out strikes. Download Mullvad and torrent away for $5 a month.
Edit: Alternatively, you can get Hulu and add on HBO for $15 a month. I replaced cable with no commercials Hulu and HBO and haven’t looked back.
Yes, you have to turn on the VPN before signing up for League Pass in order to buy the International version. Try TunnelBear to sign up.
To watch, you will have to be outside the US (and preferably outside Canada too.) Opera has a free VPN app for mobile devices and for their desktop browser. I haven't tried it with League Pass, but as long as it's fast enough, it's free and worth trying out.
Good luck! Check out r/NBA if you get stuck

Tried to submit a screenshot but apparently imgur is on the blacklist for this sub.
This shows how to do it Left click the ublock icon and along the bottom there are 4 different icons, the one on the bottom left blocks pop ups for that site
Radio coverage is: WTAM 1100 [ENG] / 100.7 WMMS [ENG] | 87.7 FM [ESP]
Couldn't find any online sources for them that worked, but I'm not in USA so perhaps they're just geolocked. You could try this one though
I just downloaded that. It has a built in proxy which works the same. Its super lightweight and not annoying (left chrome as my default browser). Make sure you go to settings -> privacy settings and enable cookies and flash player (LP needs them to load) as they are turned off by default.
Just click the proxy thing in the top right and select India. Then go to watch.nba.com and sign in. Once I'm signed in, I just turn off the proxy and refresh and its fine. I can click between games and stuff, just need to turn proxy on whenever I first start it up.
Been working fine for me so far watching VODs of tonights game, I haven't tried with a live stream yet but I can't imagine it will be any different.
Good work. Did you try using Media Queries? They will size items proportionally based on resolution. Another option is to use a framework with a pre-built 12 column fluid grid or write one yourself.

Hey guys I just bought leaguepass from using ExpressVPN India server. Been trying leaguepass streaming from other locations, (Japan, Netherlands, UK, Canada) but currently it only acknowledges my subscription if I'm on an India VPN. On other places my NBA account says I have no subscription, but it'll show that I paid the Indian price for leaguepass in my transaction history. I'm kind of concerned that I'll have to stream from an Indian server the whole year. Does it take awhile for my subscription to spread to all the NBA servers? Or are NBA leaguepass subscriptions region-locked now? What have you guys been noticing?
Why is that GioVoi? Seems to be a popular and well rated Chrome extension to me. Is there an alternative you can recommend? I used TunnelBear (download, not Chrome extension), and it only had 500mb, so it only lasted me half a game, lol.
AirVPN for me. I've trialed a few out, but this won hands down. The speeds while on their VPN were way higher than anyone else's. Plus it offered a good selection from around the world (and of course all over the U.S.).
I don't use VPNs because my country allows internet access to everything, but when I want to do something anon, I usually use CyberGhost. It's a free one and you need to wait a bit to connect. All worth it tho.
Yup. Any free ones will sell your bandwidth, like hola, and usually don't work well during the Olympics. Thats why I said spend a few bucks and mentioned Blockless(chrome extension) has a free trial.
Literally the only free option I could find that has a USA VPN option, and doesn't have a data limit.
Edit: just realized you need premium to use the desktop VPN, you can however, keep signing up for a new account every week to stack free trials (annoying, but just goes to show that getting a decent VPN without paying is near impossible).
Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, you might want to check out this app:
You enter the URL of the website that's hosting the stream you want to cast, the app searches for videos on the website and then gives you the option to cast them.
I've had issues with app not locating videos on certain sites, but for the most part it has worked well for me.

Something I recently discovered that was an amazing find for me personally is Internet Download Manager. At first I was resistant to use a standalone application, I typically go for more lightweight stuff (extensions, cloud based services, etc). But get this app, i'm telling you! I've known there were ways to do it manually and I've had extensions that would do it for individual sites in the past but this does it all and probably a bunch of other stuff I haven't experimented with yet.
Any audio or video viewed in browser will have a button beside it to download. It's funny, I can try to watch highlights on espn.com that will need to buffer and before it's finished Internet Download Manager will have downloaded the complete video in hd to view in VLC. Great application.
Found this quote while doing a search for you ...
>Of course this is possible - iOS sandboxes all applications by default and runs on the same Darwin core as OS X. Apple hasn't chosen to implement this on OS X, so you would have a lot of engineering work to bolt this extra security on top of OS X. In the short run, it might be easier to virtualize the OS if you only need to sandbox one or two applications.
Probably less of a need for you to do it on your system.
I did find that Super Duper has isolation portions built into the software for OS testing, but I'm sure you could run your browser/player through it and get the same effect. I don't have experience with it though so up to you to do more research on it.
It came from me watching the stream both in the browser player (in Chrome) and via VLC (direct .m3u8 playback through Streamlink). Visually, it clearly wasn't a 60FPS stream, with or without deinterlacing active. This is when playing back the 6000Kbps option. I'm a big advocate for 60FPS content, so I can easily see what's 60 and what isn't. If you want, I can check out some other League Pass games when they're on.
Actually, is the 6000Kbps feed supposed to be 60FPS? I read that the 4500Kbps feed might be the 60FPS one, for some reason.
You need to download VLC.
Once downloaded and installed, go to the media tab in the upper left corner, select "Open network tab" and then copy and past the above link into the bar and click play.
Radio Coverage for audio-only listeners:
USA IP ONLY | Spurs Radio - WOAI 1200 | Spanish Radio - 107.5 KXTN
That can depend on a a lot of factors, but to simplify, do you have a permanent residence with internet access or know somebody with a permanent residence and internet access in whatever region you're trying to get a local feed from? If so, you can setup something like OpenConnect (server on the "local" end, your clients can be Android, OpenWRT/Portable Router, or a laptop running your OS of choice). This is free.
You can do a similar thing with a VPS, but you'd have to get lucky/research quite a bit before you found a company that had servers peering on the proper network/region. This costs money as well.
Edit: You may also get more traction/knowledgeable answers over at /r/vpn as well.
Here's the acestream download http://acestream.org/ Copy the URL to to the network stream like you would .m3u8 URLs for VLC and just hit play. Open acestream, press ctrl+n and paste the URL to network protocol and press play
Funny to see this post today as I signed up for a VPN and League Pass India (both for the first time).
VPN I used was Private Internet Access VPN. I saw it recommended by some users on r/TorontoRaptors (last season). I signed up for the 2yr package for $70usd
Anyways I had it all setup to watch tonight’s game and here’s what I found:
In terms of stream quality, with the VPN (India) connected, I had no problem with 540p setting. But 720HD was choppy (I’m only on 30/5 teksavvy cable internet tho)
Will try again as the preseason continues and see what combination of settings works best for me!
You need the vpn both to sign up, and to log in when you want to start the game. Once you start the game, you can disconnect the VPN and watch on your device, even cast to your tv. If you want to use your phone, then yes you will need VPN there too. I am not familiar with PIA, but TunnelBear has a desktop client, as well as iOS and android, and the free version of it is perfectly fine.
Yeah I guess if the settings are locked down on the phone and cant configure a VPN then you are stuck. I use NordVPN and it has its own iOS app which is great. It saves you having to manually enter VPN settings and you just point/click in their app.
Tried VyprVPN as suggested by /u/MindfulCrusader and it worked! truly appreciate it.
Last year and before that, simple Hola or other Chrome pulgins worked. It looks like NBA definitely blocked those.
First of All huge shout out to this thread, I'm from Australia and sometimes it's hard to find a good stream but this thread always helps. Secondly for anyone in australia looking for a good free VPN service I recommend using CyberGhost 5 (PC or MAC) its free (Although they do offer premium accounts for $5 per month).
TIP: Once it has loaded up and connected to the US (be sure it's connected to the US) make sure to fully close your web browser and reopen it or else the vpn service won't work.
You could try TunnelBear as a free windows based solution, but I don't know if it would be fast enough to stream it. you'll need a reroute, proxy of some sort to get around the geoblock.
Tech details: I am using Chromecast through my Samsung Tablet (SM-T530 , Android) with Home
How hard is it to stream on youtube? I am trying to watch games, the streams are great, but lagging a lot more than when I watch anything from youtube
Is this "other" way preferred because of higher chance that youtube takes the stream down?
When I use the usual stream (last night for example, Toronto vs Philly, it was top the comment, with "verified streamer" flair) it opens up a website, with the stream in the middle. I hit the "play" and it opens up a different Tab, which gives me a Modal Popup saying something like "Your device has a virus, install this and that", and this stupid message will not go away, unless you tap OK. Cannot switch it back to the previous tab. This happens every time when I refresh the main stream page. My question is: Is this normal? everyone gets this? or it is just me doing something different. Where is that message coming from? I know I do not have a virus, that is just some scam popping up.
Thank you a lot for the streams

If you're on Android, BaconReader displays all YT links as red text.
