If you are on Windows and have VLC Media Player, right click one of the links and copy the link address and in VLC hit ctrl + N and then paste the link and hit enter. Or on the top left in VLC Media Player click on "Media" and then "Open Network Stream" and then paste the link. If you have Windows 10, you can just paste the link into Microsoft Edge and then it should work.
I don't have a Mac but other users have said right click, copy link address, open iTunes, hit command + U, paste the link but replace the http with itls. Or its the same for VLC on Mac just command+n and then paste the link.
If you want to watch it on your android phone you can use an app called MX Player, just copy the link adress and then hit the three dots on the top and then Network Stream and paste the link.
I don't have an IOS device but you can look for a VLC media player app and then look for Network Stream in the app and paste the provided link.
If you have a Chromecast, you can cast a VLC link on your TV with this app.
YES! MX Player 4.5 stars with 2.6 million votes. I use it on all my mobiles and tablets. Swipe left and right for forward and rewind. Swipe up and down on the left side for brightness and on the right side for volume. It's amazing.

Download audio, or video, or simply play audio/video with the screen off in external media players which support it, like MX Player.
Totally free.
How about watching on mobile ?
If you have an android device I highly recommend MX Player which supports all fansub file types.
You have to use a different video player if you want to zoom into videos.
MX Player is one app that would let you zoom while watching videos.

MxPlayer is the defacto video player for this sub. The best by far : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=fr
For File Explorer is suggest you MiXplorer (free and open source) : https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/com.mixplorer
>Can anyone recommend a good media player application?
When my PC broke down and I had to use my tablet as a substitute, MX Player was the one I used.

How so? Setsuna F. Seiei just wanted to be the savior known as Gundam.
>whose mecha are way too overpowered.
They wouldn't have been able to accomplish what they set out to do without the power of the Gundams being what they were.
MX Player is my suggestion (unless you buy the Pro version, there will be ads).
Try this:
- Install MX player (if you don't have it already).
- Click this link and choose to open it with MX player. (this is a HD stream so only use this on wifi or with a lot of data).
Hi WinterMomo,
Try using the MXPlayer app to review videos. We have had other users experience the exact same issue and it was not the dongle they where using. This should resolve your issue.
Kind regards,

I know Android gets a bad rep on tablet, but I just love how versatile they are.
Sure, apps aren't the most pretty and it's still behind top of the lines iPad in terms of reactivity and touch latency.
However, on my old Nexus 7 2nd version, I can do the following:
Honestly, that's even easier than on a computer.
I just love my Nexus 7 and wish they kept the form factor.

MX Player will do it, but the shuffle feature is hidden. You have to long-press the Next button whilst playing a video.
MX Player plays mkv with subtitles and different audio files!
Or if you want a name you can trust, VLC just recently got out of beta. I haven't used it yet, but I bet it works great.
Just download MX Player and use that? They've just updated it so that there aren't any more full screen ads too so it should work a treat!

Could be trying to use the gpu for decoding, check the settings and make sure software decode is set. Also try mxplayer instead, see if you run into the same issue.
If you're considering a new Roku, but are worried about USB drive file compatibility, a good alternative is a Google Nexus Player (on sale now for $50) which is a pretty decent Android based streaming box, which supports the Android app MX Player which is a great app that has played any file I've thrown at it. There's also VLC for Android which should have great compatibility.
Most side-by-side videos are simple 16:9 videos with the two images just placed next to each other. Those you can watch with everything that can play a movie, e.g. these YouTube SBS videos with VR software reviews.
3D movies on Bluray are usually stored with the image compressed to half its width, because otherwise most of the pixels are waisted for black borders. For these you need a viewer that allows you to set the aspect ratio, as they will locked squished together in a normal video viewer. A 16:9 video with two compressed images has to be played as 32:9 to restore the original aspect ratio. On Android MX Player can do this, I have no clue if something similar exists for Windows Phone.
So you can still move files onto your tablet, but you just can't play them with the stock player? I would suggest MX Player, since it's the best free player app I've found, and even supports styled soft subs and 10bit encoding if you files use them.
MX Player is available for the google play store in the US. Just go to the play store and search for it.

i had this issue with netflix killin my tunes when just browsn netflix, i dont use the reddit crap i use RIF so cant confirm in this instance but try using a media player that enables Play Alone control, such as MX Player. then it dont matter what is going on, MX will keep playing, very handy 🙂
MX Player does other cool stuff like pinch-zoom on videos, and is just really good all round and there is a free version
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad
have not once regretted paying for it
It's easy, use MX Player select the video you want then choose the properties option, it will give you the Video and the audio bitrate
Any media player that allows you to stream an audio playlist from a link should work. I use MX Player:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=en_US
This normally launches the link straight from Twitter or websites when I highlight or click on it.
I believe VLC is also popular:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.videolan.vlc&hl=en_US
To use, click on the menu (three horizontal lines), click on stream and copy and paste the Live show address. VLC should remember the address for future listens (but it occasionally changes).
I was referring to MX Player. Here is the link of this video player in Google Play Store. You will have to download it to the fire stick or android player or whatever you are using. Once, you have it, let me know and I can help with the rest of the steps.

Try using MX player (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad , couple weeks ago there was even pro version for sale at 0.10$) and wile playing, tap the three-points menu > subtitles > sync. There's a quick toggle for syncing with 0.1 sec precision.
I use MX Player as a video player and it is excellent. I especially like the swipe features for volume and brightness.

If you have the time, watch this video. It explains absolutely everything about the phone, and explains things that even advanced users may not know about.

Finally, get a case for it.
Android works with Theora and Vorbis just fine! If for whatever reason you can't play it use the best video player for Android to play DTS and Dolby audio codecs (they were removed a while ago) download the custom codecs from here.

download MX Player and use that as the default video player.
You can change the rotation of the videos manually amongst over things.
Not sure on the cause, but have you tried any external video players? I Prefer MX Player over the default player. I think i saw somewhere that showbox has issues with some players and the dev recommends mx.
Hey,
On Android for playing the stream it needs some external player.
I tested it and it work in Chrome Android with MXPlayer. The stream plays in mxplayer and you can tab for the chat.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=en
http://tubemate.net/ will download youtube videos...
once they're downloaded, playing them in an app like MX Video (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=en) will enable background, even if screen is off...
Not sure if I understood you correctly, but if you just want to watch SBS video with Cardboard and need a viewer that stretches the image to the proper aspect ratio, you can use MX Player. Options -> Display -> Aspect ratio allows you to set a custom ratio, e.g. 32:9 for a SBS 16:9 video where both images were compressed to half their original width.
Try out MX Player instead and see if it checks more of your boxes.
EDIT: Going through my previous versions of Movie HD Lite, I discovered that multimod v3.2 is actually working again! Even on my device that gave me the No Connection. Retry. message!
I'm not sure how long it will keep working, I know it has stopped working before, but for now it looks like Movie HD has changed the behavior of their server.
I repacked multimod v3.2 to Movie HD Lite v3.6 so you may want to try if it works for you:
Movie HD Lite v3.6 <- Download from Mediafire.com
Movie HD Lite v3.6 <- Download from DropBox.com
Movie HD Lite v3.6 <- Download from Sync.com
Movie HD Lite is the new name for my ad-free and VPlayer-free version of Movie HD, formerly described as 'multimod'.
I renamed it to Movie HD Lite and updated the icon to make it more straight-forward and recognizable.
General info:
Movie HD is an Android app that allows you to watch movies and TV shows in HD, up to 1080p. Videos can be streamed, downloaded or opened in external apps like MX Player, LocalCast or Advanced Download Manager. Movie HD streams from fast servers and doesn't use torrents.
Unfortunately, the official Movie HD now forces you to install their useless video player/advertisement vehicle called VPlayer. Movie HD Lite fixes this.
If you have the original Movie HD installed, you should remove that first.
Movie HD Lite v3.3 features:
If you get a No Connection, Retry message, please check if the original version of Movie HD has the same issue. It might be a (temporary) general problem. (To install both versions side by side, you can use my cloned version of Movie HD or make your own clone with App Cloner).

Use HW+ hardware decoding
If you are IOS the Official Twitch app has an audio only version.
If you are Android a redditor created a way to seperate the audio only stream. Note: This only works when the stream is live and does not work on VODS =(
Copy Paste of comment
I've been working on a temporary solution that I could use while waiting on the android devs to add this function to the Twitch.TV app.
Step 1. Open whatever browser you use on your phone.
Step 2. Open this url(https://letr.it/twitchaudio). Input whatever channel you wanna listen to.
Step 3. Open the file that will pop-up with a app that supports m3u8 files(I personally use MX Player(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=en), if you use Chrome as your browser, it should be able to play the m3u8 file as well.
Step 4. Enjoy the audio-only stream :)
Thanks to /u/equoia
Hope that helps!
I use MX Player, if that helps.
Suggestions from my own N7 '13 set up
Xposed modules that I use
Some apps that I've suggested make the whole media consumption on the device a breeze, others are power user tweaks.
MxPlayer: Since honestly, nothing else seems to do as well. Also it has the best integrations. Even when I stream I run it through MxPlayer, much better video playback performance.
LeafPic: Ever since QuickPic died it's the only good image viewer.
Phonograph: Since it ships with crDroid... and is great :D
Spotify Dogfood: Spotify is great. Ads are not. 'Nuff said.
Plex: Because I keep LOADS of stuff at home.
D-Sub: Plex for music! I use airsonic on my server but this is still the best client.
MPDroid: When I don't need to tax my server and am in my WLAN coverage, mpd is much more performant. (for the server)

I use it alongside MX Player. Load the stream in Ace Player, and then choose MX Player as your videoplayer.
Hands down the real VLC of Android. Works great with my remote as well.
You'll most likely need to get a codec pack for it, but just a quick Google search will get you the codec pack you need from XDA developers. The custom codec packs you can get will also support DTS and AC3. MX Player also supports subtitling using internal or external files as well as switching between subs while playing the video. Same goes with audio and video switching. MX Player will play everything and anything and is highly configurable.
As far as playing files directly off your network share (without using something like Kodi or Plex), you can open video files with your file browser in MX Player. I use an old version of ES File Explorer (es-file-explorer-3-2-5-multi-android-signed.apk) [from before all the crapware they baked in] to browse my local network and open the video files in MX Player Pro; it works perfectly. This version is via my dropbox and has been re-signed to avoid being updated via Google Play.
Have you tried MX Player?
MX Player allows you to play a whole folder/set up a playlist.
MX Player - Because it plays everything: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=it
Flipboard - For the daily news: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flipboard.app&hl=it
Remote desktop - If I need to use the PC from another room: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.chromeremotedesktop&hl=it
LectureNotes - If you use a stylus to take notes during class: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.acadoid.lecturenotes&hl=it
For Acestream on Windows, you only need the one I linked. Download "full package". For Acestream on Android you need, as I listed:
1. Torrent Stream Controller:
2. MX Player: This is so you can play your streamed channel on a media player. You can alternatively try other media players, like VLC, and see how that works out. But for me it works well with MX-player, an application I otherwise use to watch video files on my device.
3. Acestream:
Or alternatively Acestreamer from Google Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad
It has a press and drag feature for fowards and backwards
Works great.
mxplayer. One of the first, one of the best.

This is most likely an issue with the audio codec being unsupported rather than an issue with down-mixing multiple channels to mono or stereo (for headphones). As long as the codec is supported it should definitely down-mix.
For example, MX Player Pro states that the audio codec is unsupported and plays no audio if I play a video (encoded in AVC/h264) with the audio track being Dolby Atmos TrueHD 7.1. VLC makes an attempt but fails (a beep now and then before it just gives up and freezes). This is usually a question of codec licensing.
If I play a video that's HEVC/h265 where the audio track is Dolby AC-3 5.1 is plays just fine in both of those players.
Edit Having said that, you're using AAC -- could be simply a bug in the player. What player are you using? Maybe try MX Player (and maybe go Pro if you like it) and/or VLC?
Edit 2 Kodi for Android plays the video I mention above with Dolby Atmos TrueHD 7.1 audio just fine.
Never tried it myself but try MX Player if you haven't already.
MX Player has all these features.
http://kissanime.to/m is the site you'd want to use for mobile.
The best way is to use MX Player to watch the anime from the site.
If you're using a Samsung phone that has the "Samsung Internet Browser" which is this then you can just go on the kissanime mobile site and use the built-in video player that the internet browser has.
Edited to make information clearer
using mxplayer works fine
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad&hl=en
Try the MX-Player. It's my favorite player and never had problems.
MXPlayer comes close.
Am PC immer VLC, am Handy jedoch lieber MX Player
Use MX Player
I have varied experiences using those two programs on Android, but I have found using Acestream on my Nexus 7 a great experience, and always eventually working (after going through a couple of channels that don't work). For Acestream on Android, what you have to do is you need to install these following programs:
Torrent Stream Controller: This a torrent stream of different TV-channels, and you can freely choose Eurosport or any other channel out there if you want to, after downloading this app. Download
MX Player: This is so you can play your streamed channel on a media player. Download
Acestremer: Download
After you have done this, all you do is find a website with streams (like Rojadirecta), like on the streams and try launching them. You usually have to try a few times, before you find the right working stream. But when it first does, it works flawlessly. Even better, if you have Chromecast, you can stream it to your TV from your Android device.
I'll give a more detailed instruction of how people can watch streams online on their PC and also on Sopcast either during the weekend or on Tuesday, right before our CL-fixture match (with your and the other admins' permission, of course).
Good luck, tonight!

Sure. Install NewPipe app https://newpipe.schabi.org/ and MX Player app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad
Inside the NewPipe app, you have to enable the option to view Youtube videos with the external player MX Player app. With MX Player app you will be able to view Youtube videos with variable height you want.
Are you sure you are using this app: MX player - MXP media india
There are duplicates in the market.
So you got the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet (Docomo version)? Have you tried playing 2K and 4K movies (that you already downloaded) on the tablet with MX Player? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad
There are lots of settings, themes, codecs, and even custom codecs. There's also an option to playing two different subtitle files at the same time (bilingual!), and you can define your own subtitle colours via hex codes.
As for YouTube 2K support, I have no idea. (I have a S9). I think if the 2K videos don't play properly, you can try alternative options that are unavailable on the Play Store:
TubeMate (it can also download videos), http://n.tubemate.net/
Or maybe if you're feeling more adventurous, you can try installing the hacked ad-free YouTube Vanced https://vanced.app/
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-youtube-vanced-edition-t3758757
The great thing about Vanced is that you can set 2K as the default resolution. No root required!
Or you can just try using the desktop of the Chrome Android browser, since the screen is large enough.
I'm actually on the fence of getting the Z2 Tablet SGP521 (16GB LTE International version), but I'm having trouble locating a new/like new device under €250. Plus, they often don't ship internationally. Did you get yours from an online shop in your country?

MX Player. afaik it doesn't have ads.
If you add back Google Play you could try either of these Android apps that support MKV:
...all I get is a black screen although there is sound...*
Perhaps converting the mkv files to mp4 might help:
For playing downloaded video or podcasts, I use MXPlayer (I linked the free version) which supports 200% audio boost.
Have you tried using different video player? Like MX Player, for example?
MX Player is pretty great.
If you're not on an Android phone, you can use the website "KissAnime (dot) ru". They have one of the most comprehensive anime catalogs ever, but their website is infested with horrible amounts of intrusive ads, and sadly there's no permanent solution for getting rid of them.
If you're on an Android phone, the best way to go is the app AnYme. It allows you to browse KissAnime without the ads, and either stream episodes with a video app of your choice, or download them (also with an app of your choice).
P.S. If you don't have a video player capable of streaming, try MX Player; for downloading see ADM. They're both great, and are among the top apps in their respective categories.
Try using MX Player
You might need to use the All-In-One Codec as well (just download it and the first time you fire up MX Player it will automatically find and install the codec) - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1DnLj8XQlf0sTF1GfnB8-91M15VIKQnIi
MX Player has been a reliable client for local video playback.

I'd go with MX Player, be it for slow motion or normal speed videos.
Also, it looks like the G3 is slated to get Marshmallow sometime in the following month, in which case you'd be able to take advantage of MX Player's playback speed control as well (Marshmallow's required for this feature). That way you could watch your videos in super slow motion if you so desired.
You should be able to pin an app if you're running 5.0+. I think MX Player is what you're looking for.
