I have the 2108 version of this. Works super well. And if you have a Costco membership they have really good warranty options

> i wasnt aware of the psx thing about accessibility so thats great! but does sony have anything on the market that actually helps with physical limitations?
There is a recently released a small controller by Hori (that is officially licensed?) that allows for better accessibility. But in general it’s not necessarily for the type of thing Xbox is doing with their new controller.
And as I said in my other post, they allow controller remapping integrated into the system OS to allow people who may not be able to use particular buttons to use them.
"Crunch" in the games industry and garunteed paid/salaried overtime like you've described are usually two completely different things.
I don't know if you're one of those types who won't find this Kotaku article "legitimate" enough, but it definitely changed my mind on the topic a few years ago.

Snagged these black faceplates for the PS5, and loooove how they look. They're a matte finish, and don't have the PS logo cutout (which I prefer). Not sure if there's one for the digital version, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was.
Figured I'd leave the link here in case folks wanted to grab one for theirs from Amazon:

Here's my not-perfectly-organized-but-thought-I'd-share-it list of favs from the year with most links/timestamps: https://airtable.com/shr9zGlqipWE89MZl (and a few recognizable montage links made by you u/KBABZonTV of course!)
I use NordVPN (KF used to have a promo code, probably still works if you can find it) and while I’ve only used the location spoofing to see Netflix shows from outside the US, I know you can pick from about 15 specific US locations (the big places, SF, Seattle, New York, SLC, etc.) I haven’t used it to watch local programming with that but I’d imagine it works the same as country spoofing. But overall, I love the service and would recommend for most anything you do online. Hope it helps you!
edit How difficult is it to use? Super a computer. There’s a program you can download on your computer and select everything through there. If you’re trying to use it on another device on your network (like a PS4 or something, then you’d need to change either the device or router settings. Not impossible, but you’ll need a basic degree of knowledge. On mobile, however, there’s a NordVPN app that works like the computer one.
I use Pocket Casts on Android. https://i.imgur.com/9jZL40b.png that's my stats since they added stats because I bought this app years ago.

I'm notoriously bad at judging movies but I'd figure I'd give this is a try. If nothing else maybe it'll push me to watch more movies as I've really started to slack off on that front. My profile is here!
I don't really write reviews, but I keep track of what I watch and my cursory feelings about the film via rankings (though there is a link to my film blog on there if anyone is interested in reading a stranger talk shit about movies as he watches them).
If I remember correctly it was the new solo Darth Vader comic Marvel is putting out. Most of the new Star Wars comics have been fun, including the pure Star Wars one.
My work is beginning to offer coding courses to its employees and they have mentioned this site for us to have a look at to see if we are interested. Not used it as yet but it’s recommended by the course leaders.
No Man's Sky has been very unstable and been getting several patches - This one is sort of by me - https://www.nomanssky.com/release-log/
Since the launch of the No Man's Sky NEXT update a week ago, the game has received a multitude of patches to fix errors, bugs, memory issues and outright crashes that have appeared in the game. Four patches have been released for PC (with consoles following behind), fixing things such as old game saves not accounting for the loss of old blueprints, materials and Bases, cockpits repeatedly opening and closing in flight, memory leaks, players being jettisoned into space after warping aboard another player's Freighter, and more.
Speaking anecdotally, the game has been performing much more erratically than before the update, and has been crashing a whole lot more often.
Throw all those other suggestions out and use Photopea. It is quite literally Photoshop but free. Using this you'll actually learn about PHOTOSHOP, rather than learning a bunch of things applicable to completely different programs.
It's a Patreon exclusive so you'd have to back them on patreon.com/kindafunny. It's only $1 per month for the exclusive eps, so I'd say it's definitely worth the minimum.
Xbox One's Games With Gold titles revealed for August - By Xbox Corporate for Xbox.com (and embellished by me)
August's Games with Gold have been revealed! Death Squared continues its run from last month through to the 15th, with Dead Space 3 being added for the first half of August (it's a 360 game but it has XBO B/C). For the ENTIRETY of the month we've got Forza Horizon 2; I've played this game and I MIGHT like it better than 3 because of the location alone! For the back half of the months we have Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two for Xbox 360 (another b/c title), and for the back half of August and the first half of September we'll be getting For Honor, a game whose title I always seem to read like it's part of a Braveheart speech. FOR HONOR!!!!
I had a queen Tuft and Needle for 3 years that I didn't mind but was a little firm for me (my gf at the time loved it though). I just recently upgraded to the Helix Midnight King and love it. It is medium firmness and came with two giant comfortable pillows. Not to dig into KF's pockets but there are other Helix codes out there too that knock a couple hundred bucks off. Sorry to throw another competitor in the ring but I did a ton of research before purchasing and think it paid off. Seriously looked at all the mattress competitors (there are some great youtube comparison channels).
I also bought this bed frame off Amazon and it looks great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HYRK51W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
To be fair, if KF was based in my country (Netherlands)a big chunk of the ads would not be allowed to run. Not a dig at KF, it's just that my country is very strict with ad regulation; Probs only the ads for Honey, HBO streaming (and similar/other digital services like ExpressVPN) and the Pleasuresleeve thing would be allowed. Things like ForHims, RobinHood, Betterhelp etc would get banned and be subject to major fines.
They make a PS controller specifically made for smaller hands. Google it be you should be able to find it. It’s officially licensed as well.
Edit: check this one out
That is good timing. I’m a sucker for Blu Rays so I got this set Batman 80th Anniversary Collection (Blu-ray) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TLPBFZ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8wAMFbPD8H7F7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
More or less the same as what u/Xero19 said, but with ExpressVPN. I've used both to watch Terrace House on Japanese Netflix and they both work really well. ExpressVPN likely covers some blindspots of NordVPN when it's not working, at least when it comes to Netflix. There was a brief time when NordVPN was blocked on Netflix, but ExpressVPN worked. I believe NordVPN did work on Netflix again a few weeks later. I personally prefer ExpressVPN's UI, but it's really not not any better or worse than NordVPN's. Just personal preference. Ultimately, I don't think you can go wrong with either.
I'll echo the two other comments. Specifically for Netflix, ExpressVPN is more reliable as it works with Netflix when NordVPN doesn't, but their equally good otherwise. I have both specifically for Japanese Netflix.
I use Private Internet Access and have for a couple of years now. It’s an excellent tool and has great auto-maintenance (switching to the next best available node when one gets overburdened). My speeds don’t take a dip with them either so something like YouTube or Netflix loads with no trouble. That might partially be on my isp and my 1gb downspeed but, even anecdotally, I have no noticeable change to performance. I definitely recommend PIA.
You sure you're not thinking of Korra? It was a big deal last year when Avatar blu ray was announced. (You can also see here on this boy that the release date was last summer) https://www.amazon.com/Avatar-Last-Airbender-Complete-Blu-ray/dp/B07BC5STNG
Found this article on /r/podcasts, and one of the examples in the article was a KFGD cover art made by one of their artists. If you want to check out the specific art, it's here.
Hey everyone! If you are interested in fantasy stories I am currently releasing one I wrote in a serialized format. Feel free to leave any feedback or comments. Thanks!
What’s up Trogs,
Years ago Andy inspired me to try out graphic design. One of the first designs I made was a pumpkin pie I made look like pac-man eating dollops of whipped cream. It actually took off on Amazon and does pretty well every Autumn. I’m at the park with the kids and saw this thread so I’d figures I’d share it.
It's a relatively easy fix though.
I got this for $45 (which is ultimately nothing when we're talking the money these TV's cost lol)

It can be adjusted in height for up to 8 inches I think. Very sturdy.

Boom! Studios released a preview of my graphic novel, "The Great Wiz and the Ruckus" last week. You can check it out here : r/https://tinyurl.com/y94bersu
I'm currently inking the last 50 pages of the graphic novel. It's set to release in February!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!
Correct. All 6 issues of Welcome to Lovecraft are volume 1.
As you can see here, they're even listed separately on Comixology. The one listed under "graphic novel" is the entire volume 1 for $9.99. The single issues are $1.99 each.

A lot of times comics will bundle a bunch of single issues together into one volume.

"I could care less" is an idiom. To quote the Cambridge English Dictionary, an idiom is "a group of words whose meaning considered as a unit is different from the meanings of each word considered separately." Yes, "I could care less" doesn't make sense as it means the opposite of what it is used to mean. However, as an idiom, it doesn't have to make sense and can still be a 100% correct use of the phrase.
It is a small camera that you attach to the top or bottom of the TV. The camera reads the color of the screen (after you calibrate) and then tells the lights what colors to change to. It's not as instantaneous nor as accurate, but it works pretty well for the most part. The main drawback for the Philips Hue is that if you want to use it through a console, the hue sync box is like $250 and only HDMI 2.0, so it will need to be replaced soon if they do update it.

hey best friends! I run a little podcast called the 'Where We Landing Podcast" with a few of my best friends! We talk about anything and everything, including: reviewing Netflix shows, video games, and sports. We have lots of fun with it. There's an episode for everyone! The pod is available on all platform.! All downloads help a lot. Love y'all <3
Hi Bestfriends! Me and some friends started a comic book related podcast if you’d wanna give it a listen! The ChimiComicsCast. The first episode we rank our favorite comic book movies and talk about what we’ve been reading! https://anchor.fm/comicscast
I haven't came into any issues since changing my psn name.
I think it mostly has to do with old games that have online rankings or leaderboards.

It's on PC, but if she wants a game much closer to elite beat agents, check out "Osu!". It's essentially a fan-made successor to that style of game. Low requirements, will run on anything essentially, lots of fan-made maps for tons of songs, also free. https://osu.ppy.sh/home
I don’t know how many listened to the Kinda Funny Gamescast post-show last week but I wanted to add my two cents to that conversation.
I have a Master’s Degree in CompSci and do my best to stay up with what is going on in Cybersecurity.
I agree 100% with Greg and Imran that everyone should be using two factor authentication whenever possible. What I disagree with is that using SMS verification codes are safe; there are already exploits in the wild that can defeat SMS two factor authentication. (https://nordvpn.com/blog/sms-two-factor-authentication-puts-your-privacy-at-risk/)
The better two factor authentication using your phone is to use those authentication apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, etc. If you want to be even more secure you could look at something like the Yubico Key which is a separate physical device you have on your person and use that as your Two Factor Authenticator.
My recommendation on things you definitely should be using Two Factor Authentication for are your primary e-mail account, Amazon account, any financial accounts (your bank account, PayPal account, credit card accounts, etc.)
With all this being said any Two Factor Authentication is better than no second factor used to authenticate you.

Hey all! I've been trying to compile Kinda Funny info/shows in some online databases using my latest favorite app, Airtable, when I find the time. Here's one I made for Debatable to track each episode and who won the most. I also have one for the KFG Showcase.
If you've never tried the app I'd recommend it! The web/desktop version is better than the mobile app for now, but I use it for my gaming backlog and all sorts of other organizational tasks.
Debatabase: All Episodes of Kinda Funny's Debatable https://airtable.com/universe/expdaW9FMZQ3UbDSg/debatabase-all-episodes-of-kinda-funnys-debatable
One thing that I don't think is mentioned here that I really love is a mount for the Switch to play using the Pro Controller rather than the Joy Cons. They're fine, but I like an actual controller and the Pro, as others have said, is amazing. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0828V1R6Y/ref=cm_sw_r_apanp_WvB7M8IQ9VqlU
Thats the one I got and it's been great. Adjustable as well so it'll work with the OLED model
An SD card will be a must eventually as well. I've got 128 gb I believe as others have said.
I went for the 55. Had a similar issue with the stand though. I’ve got a sound bar and the tv sits pretty low so it would block some of the screen. I got this which might be of interest to you too..
The Art of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. A beautiful book and excellent chronicle of the making of this exceptional film. I just rewatched it last night. It only gets better with age. Every scene has such weight, every plot turn makes 100% crystal clear sense, every performance is true. Then by the end you truly realise it could only have been Jyn to do this. The rebellion, whilst tenacious, has also been at it for a while, and naturally grown a few measures more cautious than at the beginning. Jyn, fresh in, has this bird’s eye perspective on what must be done, and confronts the jaded/heart-darkened core of the Rebel Alliance in the shape of a single man, Cassian, and symbolically convinces him that if he does this, if he can secure the plans — not even destroy it mind you, but just the chance of destroying it — all those innocents he killed, all those underhanded acts he committed, will have been worth it in the end, in some way. And Chirrut and Baze, the spiritual soul of the film, having their pivotal role in allowing the plans to go through. It’s so moving. Everyone has a reason for being there. The Force took the shape of/guided these fated, non-Jedi, unconventional heroes, and gave the justice and goodness that is embodied in Luke a fighting chance in A New Hope. The accomplishment of Rogue One, of making one of the pillars of an entire modern artform (filmmaking) not only better, but genuinely giving it a completely inseparable prologue...is beyond remarkable. Gary, if you or any of year team read this, truly, thank you for being who you are and doing what you do. You, John Knoll, Gareth Edwards and team made a beautiful film that respects its origins while forging its own identity and enhancing everything connected with it, and we’ll all never be able to thank you enough.
I made an app called LookForward to help people keep track of movie and game releases. The app has push notifications that you can opt into to remind you of upcoming releases.
You can find the iOS version here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lookforward-entertainment/id1492748952
You can find the Android version here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lookforward.app&hl=en&gl=US
Yeah it does, prices may go down eventually as more people need longer HDMI 2.1/"Ultra High Speed" cables. But right now it's very expensive.
I went with the cables Austin Evans (Popular YouTube tech guy) recommended. So far with the 25ft ones with both Series X and PS5 they are working very well, I've had no issues, but of course that's only a couple days worth of playing. Unfortunately, they go from 10ft to 25ft, nothing in the middle. I really only needed about 15ft.
I made a photo book filled with pics from my trip to Japan and some essays. It’s a deeply personal project due to some circumstances. It’s on Amazon

Hi Best Friends!

In 2008 I began filming a zombie web series to put up on Youtube. During the time I decided it was a great idea to flesh the series out into a movie. 7 years later in 2015 I released the completed mess on Amazon.

The movie is called "...And Then Everything Changed" and even though it's not great, I'm proud of it. I would love it if you folks would check it out, even if that means putting it on in the background and leaving the room.

Anyway, maybe you'll find something to enjoy with it! Thanks all!

Hey everyone!
I, like many others, am really enjoying Animal Crossing New Horizons. I was hoping to find a companion app on Android. Most of the ones that were available I wasn’t a huge fan of, so I decided I wanted to make my own. This past weekend I completed “phase 2” of my App and is now out of Beta and available to the public!
Currently you can track Fish, Bugs, Fossils, Art, and villagers. The home screen shows you what critters are currently available (based on Month and current time), leaving next month, and new arrivals this month! And progress bars to show you your totals! You can also select critters to get more details about them like a description or where they are found.
The Art screen will show you real and fake paintings and describe the differences to look for.
You can also select villagers as residents or favorites and the closest birthday will show up on the homescreen!
You can see Images of what the current app looks like here!
And download the app by following This Link!
Hello everyone! I'm a beginner hobbyist game dev! I've started learning how to code and create back in 2016 after graduating college. I never intend this to be a replacement in my career, but rather a good way for myself to learn new thing and flex my accountant mind creatively. Well in 2018-2019 I stopped developing and I wanted to get back into the grove of things, so for 2020 I decided I would spend each month creating 1 simple android App/Game.
Yesterday I published February, and I have an exciting idea for March that I'm excited for.
My January App is a an endless runner type of game where you need to avoid oncoming blocks.
February's App is a little more simple, and frankly a clone of the popular "aa" game. My challenge with this was setting up a level system that was easily scale-able!
Again, I'm a beginner, and these games won't be your next addiction. But I'm ok with that, I hope you give both a go, and enjoy them. I do have so older games too, but just a heads up... I lost the assets to those so I can't update them! :)
Thanks all,
My partner works from home now and I just started a degree from home so we got this Chair. I don't know if you're in USD OR GBP but it's a reasonably priced chair and does the job! Very comfy 😊 I'm sure it will be on amazon.co.uk and amazon.com
What I've been using is just taking real headphones (spend as much as comfortable I've been using these and they are great)
https://www.amazon.com/Philips-X2HR-Over-Ear-Open-Air-Headphone/dp/B01N5VHLUG/
And then getting a mic for them
https://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-BoomPro-Microphone-Gaming-Communication/dp/B00BJ17WKK/
Sounds amazing, super comfy, and the same price as a high end headset. (Do have to plug it into the controller though).
Used to have to get a steel series replaced every few months and got sick of it.
TCL makes great budget sets. TCL 55" 6-Series 4K UHD Dolby Vision HDR QLED Roku Smart TV - 55R635 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0885F5GMP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_KGAGFbRQ3SPNV This one is too big for you but it's specs are awesome for the price. Wait for prime day or black Friday and get something similar.
Well the cables are all in tracks that open pretty easily, they're not in the walls, and the shelves have a removable part in the back so I have access to cavity in them. It will still take effort no doubt but no more than a day and some touch up paint.
Here are the cable management tracks: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00P4TN14E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ubKtFbHR7W1RT
Just got this to run through with the wife and some with the kids.
OP, I think the best way to start would be to look at the things she likes and go from there. You mentioned in one of your comments that she's a therapist and likes Batman so I'd recommended something Batman and psychological. Hush would be a good start. I don't like it much myself, but it's good for a new fan and deals with some trauma stuff. You mentioned The Killing Joke and that's another good start.
Oh this just occurred to me as I was writing: Harleeen would be perfect. it's about Harley Quinn before she becomes Harley Quinn and it's about her time as a therapist and how she falls in love with the Joker. It's got amazing art and it's somewhat romantic while also acknowledging how messed up the relationship is. Plus it takes psychology really seriously so I think she'd like it.
This is the Camera
I can’t remember what lens they’re using. I think when I looked at it last it was $200.
::Edit:: Kevin has said it a couple of different times on their shows. I added the camera to my wishlist one of the times. Forgot to add the lens.
Hey yall! Been a KFBF for some years now, and I am trying to get more involved with the community!
I self-published a fantasy book on Amazon back in October called When This Peace Ends. It was not professionally edited or anything like that, but the Kindle version is only a few bucks or free with Kindle Unlimited. If you read it, feel free to give me some feedback! Thanks everyone!
I write books! Please buy them if you want and let me know your thoughts. Even if you think they are hot trash. If you like them please leave an Amazon review!
I wrote two books! Uprising is about a modern day world after years under a German rule that won WW2. (It’s alright) Uprising
Midtown Blues is a noir style murder mystery that tackles corruption and racism in 1950s Chicago. (It’s good!) Midtown Blues
Both are short and available on Amazon! The kindle version looks jank so I’d recommend the paperbacks.
Hey best friends! Hope everybody’s day is going great. I’ll get right to it!
Recently, I’ve finally taken the leap to follow my dreams and become a writer. After years of suffering from anxiety and lack of confidence to share my work, I finally worked up the courage to do it, publishing my first short story on Amazon as a digital only kindle release. I did this for a few simple reasons, the first of which being money. With two kids at home and bills to pay, working 40+ hours a week to keep the finances afloat, I didn’t have the money or time to invest in pursuing traditional publishing methods. The second reason was the fact that, though I plan to expand my novella series into many episodes, the first chapter in this story was simply too short to warrant releasing it as a paperback.
It’s been released for a few weeks now, and though I’ve been humbled by the number of copies sold, I also am aware that most of those sales are people within my close networks, and thus are bound to be biased.
I’ve come to the best friends community after seeing the support and camaraderie within to put myself out there into the greater universe and put forth my work to a greater audience.
If any of you have an interest in episodic science fiction, are looking for a quick, entertaining read, are just bored and have $5 to spare, I would be honored to share this world with you. I am so interested and excited to see what the world thinks of my work and excited to see where it takes me.
Love you all, and thank you for being such an awesome community!

Hi KF Best Friends, my name is Kyle and I am an occasional writer. I wrote and published two books that I hope any or all of you have a chance to enjoy. They are both relatively cheap on Amazon and are short reads.
Please if you enjoy reading or want to give some truly honest feedback, go check them out. I fully admit that my first book “Uprising” is rough around the edges but, I really think my second book “Midtown Blues” is worth a read.
Please note that the kindle versions format got quite screwed up so I highly recommend the paperbacks.
Uprising is the classic tale of Germany winning World War 2. We follow a young man struggling to survive in the modern day where freedom has not been seen, heard, or felt in decades. A journey from refugee to resistance fighter, only you can see if the world can fight back, one last time.
Midtown Blues is a noir story set in 1950’s Chicago. As the cold air settles in so does the murder of a corrupt police officer and the accusation of an innocent man. Detective Godfrey must not only fight against the injustice of racism and mafia corruption but, with the truth itself. Because when you go searching for skeletons, you always wind up making your own grave.

I would REALLY recommend some kind of skin on top of the joycons. The joycons are very tiny and they're not really designed with comfort in mind.
I have these
They give the Switch a nice grip with the bulging back.
this is the one I bought at launch - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N13YIQJ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's been really good for me, I usually prefer the hard outside since I am accident prone. I also decorated it with some stickers to jazz it up a bit.
I'm pretty sure he's talked about American Lion by Jon Meacham at some point. It's about how badass and crazy Andrew Jackson was.
