Just got banned myself. Use a vpn. They only ban your vpn and not your actual account. I recommend windscribe. https://windscribe.com/
I went on the discord looks like others are also flooding the discord. Was telling people to just use a vpn because it bypasses the ban. Kissanime support asked for my ip. I reply "I'm not dumb" then instantly banned.
Nobody gives a shit about that. Really. You've even got free, automated certificate authorities like Let's Encrypt. All you need to do to get a basic Domain Validated Cert is prove that you're the owner of the domain that you're trying to get the cert for.
Nobody cares what you're hosting there, that's not what certs are for.
Hell, phishing sites that serve up malware are starting getting certs (mostly from LE) to look more legit. It's that fast and easy. At this point in time, the only reason for not having a cert is laziness.
Extended Validation Certificates are a different pair of shoes, but you don't need those. They're just fancy stuff for more sensitive services, like banks and the like.
I mean to be fair, I'm pretty sure I've tried to log into it about 100 times in the past....
Here's a website that lets you know if your account has been compromised. Not sure if it would be helpful in this case but it's good regardless.
Time to use VPN >.>
That block its useless in my opinion, anyone can get through this with a free vpn (Tested CyberGhost 6 and it works). Anyway, on the safe site, I'm getting my bookmark out of here.
Does anyone knows about a site like KissAnime with good quality?
(Please upvote this to let people know)
You should educate yourself on what the Acceptable Ads Initiative is and isn't. Link provided for anyone else who wants to, as well. In brief:
The people behind and users of Adblock Plus wanted a way for non-intrusive ads to be optionally whitelisted to encourage "good" ads while still blocking bad/dangerous ones.
Acceptable Ads are whitelisted by default, but this feature is very easy to disable, and disabling it works 100%. No "acceptable ads" can sneak by.
No one can pay to bypass the criteria. (There are costs involved, but the ads must actually be good. ABP is not letting malware pushers pay to bypass restrictions.)
ABP estimates 90% of advertisers pay nothing. It's only the 10% with the most ad revenue who have to pay to be whitelisted if they meet the criteria to support the company behind ABP.
According to a survey conducted via ABP, about 75% of their users said they wanted this feature, to allow advertisers a chance to clean up their own mess, and to support websites they visit. Only about 25% wanted to simply block all ads regardless of impact on their experience and the websites they visit.
I still prefer uBlock Origin for myself and it is installed on all of my machines. However, it is not due to the Acceptable Ads Initiative. I just like it better. I ran ABP with Acceptable Ads whitelisted (I never got the survey, though) and I would leave them whitelisted if uBlock Origin went in the same direction.
They didn't sell out, per se, but they do make money, and their profitability is one measure and indicator of their success. I think that is worth noting. Also, that like Facebook and Google, they don't charge their users for front-facing features. They get companies to pay, but in ABP's case, it's to benefit the users, and the Web as a whole, not themselves (like how Facebook and Google sell personal information to advertisers). Also worth noting.
Install uBlock or uBlock Origin
Go to settings
Click "Third Party Filters"
Enable Anti-Adblock Killer
Alternative 1:
Download Greasymonkey or Tampermonkey
Go to Greasyfork.org
Search for KissAnime
Install one of the many Adblock scripts
[Optional] Install Kiss Auto Play and KissAnimeList
Alternative 2:
Buy a Raspberry Pi
Install Pi-Hole
It's not down. The message is fake ~~and you can temporarily get around it by removing the cookies for~~ ~~.~~

Edit: Even the removing cookies part doesn't seem to fix it at this point (for me at least). If I can mention other sites, MangaDex would be a good alternative to KissManga.

Edit 2: Even a virtual machine with Firefox (cleared cache and everything), ProtonVPN and uBlock Origin disabled is still bringing the message up. Maybe the site actually is down. hmm...
hey, if you're interested in tinkering a bit.. you could get a cheap microcomputer like a raspberry pi, and then set it up with pi-hole this will basically act as an adblock for your whole (Heh) network
Nobody knows 100% yet however I've been checking the site every few hours since it went down, and from what I've seen and know about kissanime's history and from what others have also posted it's safe to assume the site WILL be coming back.
The site has gone down many times in the past for various reasons dealing with the sites internals. They were once down for a few days like this when they were changing to new hosts. The site going down is nothing new, although yes this time it is a bit different.
The last kiss-specific error that we saw said that kiss was going to be down for a while while they upgrade their backend. This is most likely the case since incidents like this HAVE happens to kiss before, like the time I mentioned when they changed hosts.
Since this is obviously a much bigger change (changing the whole backend is no small task, and is much larger a job than simply changing hosts) it will of course take longer to finish, even though the original error said 24 hours.
In case you didn't know, the site WAS up and running yesterday (or maybe the day before, forgot which) however you could see any content. It was just a white screen, but you were able to connect perfectly fine. This was most likely some kind of test for the new backend. One person made a post theorizing that the content was available but only to specific test users, which makes sense.
As an alternative until kiss is back up, I recommend 9anime. The site is much cleaner than kiss (in my opinion), has all the same features, same series collection both sub and dub, full HD, you can download all the series, changing episodes doesn't require changing pages, there is virtually 0 load time for episodes and it's all free http://9anime.to/
I just recently discovered http://9anime.to/ Its pretty solid, has a decent player, no ads to begin with and they are pretty fast at adding stuff if you request it. I requested ZetMan and they got it on there the next day. They have a pretty solid selection now and it has been growing fast.
Life Pro Tip:
Get a password manager. Now you will only have to ever remember 1 password (make it a good one). Using the password manager, make a randomly generated password for every site you have an account on. Most good password managers allow you to sync across multiple devices using dropbox or their own cloud services.
Check this website to see if your account has been compromised in some of the more well documented hacks. Because you use the same password on multiple sites, if one shows up on there, most/all of your other accounts are in danger. Especially if someone has access to your main e-mail account because that's the main tool for password resets. Enable 2-step verification on your e-mail to lock it down.
My desktop may have the tampermonkey script, but for now im using a different tampermonkey script ( https://greasyfork.org/scripts/368595-kissanime-anime-captcha-solver/code/kissanime%20Anime%20Captcha%20Solver.user.js , Backup link:
https://hastebin.com/ituzawawuh.js )
I'll have to pick up that KissAnime List script because I mainly watch my anime from there when I'm not using Taiga to torrent episodes as they release.
If you want to batch download from kissanime, use WFDownloader App, as it can help you grab complete series. Also supports other sites like gogoanime, masterani, chia-anime etc.
Edit: you can watch this video demonstration that shows how to use with kissanime.ru.
Adwcleaner is now part of the Malwarebytes family. You won't be able to pickup the majority of the things in malwarebytes that adwcleaner can pickup. Here's the latest release download =) http://download.cnet.com/AdwCleaner/3000-7786_4-75851221.html
Stay safe =)
9anime is your best friend. High quality, downloadable episodes, will upload anime you request very quickly (I asked for Ruin Explorers and all episodes were up the very next day), and best of all, no ads. Solid site, check it out. http://9anime.to/
Well you could always use this. It's an ad blocker that lets you whitelist website and then just hide the elements you don't want to see. It's worked flawlessly for me so far.
the easiest way?
requiring you to do the least work just go here copy the email address it gives you and use that to sign up.
https://www.tempmailaddress.com/
or you could create a new email address through Gmail or whatever.
you are on the .ru site right? and not the fake one?
I use this it's alright nothing I've seen is better than what the normal way to do it was. Hopefully they get their shit together. :D
I honestly don't know what could be the issue.
I want to try and see if I could fix it since you aren't the only one with this issue but I can't really do anything if I can't even replicate the issue.
You could try this but instead of entering the url in the post, enter kissanime.to.
wow, that looks amazing! I think you should release it. I don't use Android, but I think many people would appreciate it! I doubt anything would happen, you can just release the APK here or put it on the store. For example, there is this app on the windows store that does the same thing as yours (except MAL integration) and nothing has happened to it.
Not sure if they are exactly what you are looking for but I found these: Hoozuki no Reitetsu OVA: http://9anime.to/watch/hoozuki-no-reitetsu-ova.l4q6/ll97l3 Osomatsu: http://9anime.to/watch/osomatsu-san.80o/vwo86
Maybe you'd like http://taiga.moe/. You can link it to your MAL and change all the filters so that it downloads the shows you want. You may need to mess with the filters so that it only downloads a specific quality and only one sub group (HorribleSubs is usually the main sub group each season).
> it gives me no time to change to F or O server.
There's no F or O server. Could you link me an episode with one of these servers?

Off topic, but I saw "PT" and my mind went to Packet Tracer (I'm in a Cisco networking class).
The only difference is the servers used. The beta server uses Google’s CDN (Content Delivery Network) servers, while the alpha server uses Facebook’s CDN servers.
For anyone who doesn’t know what a CDN is:
> A content delivery network (CDN) refers to a geographically distributed group of servers which work together to provide fast delivery of Internet content.
Yeah, it is. It's far better than AdBlock Plus. From what I understand, Adblock blocks Ads after they appear, while Ublock blocks them before they appear. The dev doesn't really consider it a AdBlock, but closer to NoScript. It's also fairly lightweight too. You can read about what the dev says here
If you have android than you can easily stream any video on any website with this app to Roku Stick. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instantbits.cast.webvideo
I have tried all of the above. The oddest thing is that it only impacts Firefox. The page loads, the play button appears but it is unclickable; most everything else on the page I can interact with. Attempts to disable ad-block (uBlock), tracking blockers (Privacy Badger or Ghostery), result in it telling me to turn my ad-block off. With all of them on there is no message.
On Google Chrome, despite having the same extensions, works flawlessly. I think there is something wrong with my Firefox itself, but I am adamant about uninstalling and reinstalling it. Has anyone had similar issues?
Here is a list of add-ons I use to browse the web with Firefox:
Possibly unrelated addons included Stylish, NordVPN*, and Windscribe VPN*
I do not use Nord at the time as I do not have a subscription, it is disabled. I use Windscribe but it is not activated when using the website.
I use Astrill and can confirm that it works well on most servers, but some (eg. Taiwain) result in a redirect to the banned page.
Still, as long as you are not in China, I can recommend Astrill as it comes with a lot of neat extra features you never knew you needed (whitelist, blacklist, VPN sharing via wifi hotspot, etc.). ExpressVPN does not offer those features, I tried before which is why I am sticking with Astrill.
there is alot of free vpn programs that you can get on PC i have use ExpatShield and CyberGhost (Cyberghost is better imo) and they don't need any explanation all you need it to start the program click connect and it does the rest it self
for mobile there is psiphone
and Shadowsocks (not actually a VPN but it does the same thing)
as for paid VPN i have never used any (no way for payment online)

why exactly?
I mean thank you.
~~but why should I use hastebin from now on? sell me on it please.~~ I don't know about hastebin, but pastebin has loads of userscripts and stuff already made for it because of it's userbase.
shit.....that's fucking nice! https://hastebin.com/about.md
I mean I only use Linux when I'm tinkering with things\fixing them but damn if I'm not going to be....wait I don't even have to apt-get??? it just....works.....WOW.......
the only downside I see is in pastbin you can set them to never expire, but hastebin expires 30 days at most after the last view
nothing really. the server is down. dont listen to people saying try this or this. you wont achieve anything trying to reach a server that is not running,http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/kissanime.to.html. try ping it, windows cant find the host.
~~Yep it's ded~~
~~http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/kissanime.to.html~~
~~The mobile version wasn't working properly this morning and now it's offline. Server issues probably.~~
It's back here.
Another option is getting a Raspberry Pi and setting up Pi-Hole on it. It blocks ads on all devices connected to your Internet, including phones and consoles. It will probably be cheaper than Kpoints too.
>It's crazy that we need so many processes running, just to use the site safely...
you only need ublock plugin, which work in main firefox process.
>Thanks, but I really don't like Firefox.
(Adblock Warning Removal List, Anti-Adblock Killer | Reek, uBlock Protector List) is ublock filters so it's supposed to work with any browser with ublock plugin.
just go to uBlock dashboard ---> 3rd-party filters ---> Ads---> and mark these filters with ✔
I understand that 100% I had a website I was downloading movies from in dual audio (english and Japanese, sometimes more) and the subs were separated. The website is down now as far as I can tell :( and they were high quality sometimes being 10 bit color at 720p or even 1080p in most cases. Maybe try it find the raw anime, and find a subtitls file online. Easier said than done, but I'll look real fast.
This seems to have mkv files. Downloads only (torrents).
Because the the source video the admins downloaded from nyaa.si cut them out.
If you can find one on there that has the openings, send the admins a link on r/KissCommunitySupport.
If you want to bulk download from kissanime.ru directly, use wfdownloader app. You can choose the video quality you want (e.g. 480p, 720p and 1080p) and can also select the episode range you want for partial series download.
There are also many other anime sites it download from. See their faq for all supported sites. Some sites may work better for you than others. For instance the search works very fast for gogoanime1.com.
You can right-click and select Save Video if it's just an episode you want. However if you want to bulk download entire manga collection or anime series quickly from the sites mentioned, you can use wfdownloader app. See how to bulk download anime and manga which works for both kissmanga, kissanime.ru, and many other supported sites.
It was already stated in the post above.
> Now has captcha handling for some sites that use it. Some countries or internet connections may have issues with google recaptcha. Just go to Options > General Settings and select "Enable easy google recaptcha mode" and then retry the link search.
Check overcoming google recaptcha issues for a detailed captcha solution for 9anime in wfdownloader app.
You can try wfdownloader app. The advantages are that it allows video quality selection (480p, 720p, 1080p), allows you to stop and resume the batch later and supports many other anime sites. Watch this 3 mins kissanime demonstration.
wfdownloader bulks download anything from anime, manga, cartoons from many supported sites which is stated on their FAQ page. It even allows selecting the video quality (480p, 720p, etc) you want from kissanime.ru or 9anime.to. See sample usage.
Unfortunately, kissacartoon.ac took down (for whatever reason their F Server) which was what vn-ki downloader was downloading from. Now what only remains is their O Server, and the new H Server which are currently difficult to download from. Even wfdownloader is now having the same issue with kisscartoon.
If you don't mind bulk downloading from another cartoon website, you can use wfdownloader to bulk download from either animetoon.org, itsaturday.com, or toonova.net by following their anime batch download tutorial.
Tried almost every site that was posted here. I'm watching Super Doll Licca-chan recently. http://9anime.to has it but only the dub version... I'm missing KA more.
EDIT: Apparently it's still in the original Jap dubbing. YAY! Thank you for sharing these sites!
Since kiss went down I've been using 9anime as a backup. I'd highly recommend trying it. It has all the same features and series, dubbed and dubbed, that kiss has (had?) and you can download the episodes. Not to mention the 0 load time.
But yea 9 is probably your best bet. It's the closest one too kiss I've found (and tbh I kinda prefer 9 now) plus it lets you download the episodes, like you're looking for.
use 9anime, it doesn't have any pop-up ads or malware, but if it does, i wouldnt get an account for the site. i'm a vine editor and use kissanime to download episodes and 9anime is amazing to use since kissanime is down. sorry for all the rambling.
Unless ISP's in Australia are running transparent DNS proxies now (hopefully that made sense), I don't see how using custom DNS servers would suddenly just be disabled. Were you able to use this before without any issues?
Thx for replying back. however id just like to point out that if you could replace the domains . with (Dot) as so it does not cause people to miss click on the links!
for your first link it appears its not been rated on WOT but the second link for dingit.tv does not have all that impressive reviews > https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/dingit.tv
and the 3rd link appears to be from a mobile but unsure on that.
so just add:
buffetsmethod.com
dingit.tv
xb11766.com
so just add those to your filters and you should be all right. make sure you update your 3rd party filters regularly as the devs for ublock still cant seem to get the auto update feature to work for most filter lists.
In case anyone still has issues, as another person pointed out you should change your DNS servers to Google's and/or OpenDNS servers. I use all 4.
Google's: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
*more info: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using
OpenDNS: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
*more info: https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/
If that still won't work for you, you may need to change your regionally IP. So far I've tested VPN servers in South America, North Eastern European countries, and Australia all seem to work so fine as of this posting. I haven't had any luck connecting to Kissanime from servers located in the US, primarily servers in NY, TX, CO, MA, NV, and WA. Not sure if may be just regionally IP blocking, or my VPN setup itself in this case. Will update after further testing.
Hope this may help some people.
You could try setting up AdGuard DNS, which is an DNS server that is supposed to remove ads for devices that can’t use things like uBlock Origin (and it’s made by the same people who make AdGuard).
Is this list open to suggestions? I use Google Chrome with Poper Blocker and AdGuard AdBlocker on the site with preroll ads disabled. The adguard stopped working once, but I only had to report the website and update the extension a few days later.
Finally, someone with some sense. Yea, the site is trash. You can look up some workarounds for tampermonkey though if you check where to look for scripts. There's some that cancel out adblock blockers.
For anyone who knows more about browsers than I do, you could always give "Brave" web browser a try and see if you can come up with a solution. I was at least able to get to their sign in page and make a new account on Kissanime. Still some kinks though, maybe someone can come up with some kind of a script or mess with the settings to try and get it to work. https://brave.com/ is the browser. And no I'm not a shill or whatever they're called.
Thank you for the clarification. If you could do it when they are up running again I would be really glad to receive your invitation.
I will in the mean time try the site you suggested :D
Hmm that's weird registrations should be open.
Once I get home I shall look at it as I may have invites for it if I do I can send one out to you.
Obviously I will need to check to see first so don't take this as a definite or anything.
There is other sites which do not require registration such as
gotta be smart from where you download from. trusted sources are important. always go to the actual releasers' website to download. the only reliable torrent tracker for anime is nyaa.si (they have exist for a long long time)
I use a link grabber called Internet Download Manager. (https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/) I've heard Jdownloader is just as good. (http://jdownloader.org/download/index) IDM can rip from Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and etc. I will say, I had tried to rent a movie on Youtube and download it and the link wouldn't show up, but as for every other time I've wanted to use it it's been available. This goes for videos, and general downloads as well such as progams, exe's, and music such as Pandora. I bought the premium, for IDM, but Jdownloader should function just as well.
no prob, if you want to/are able to you can use your phone like a remote control for your computer to make doing this even easier. https://www.unifiedremote.com/ there is a free version and a paied version, but i actually found it useful enough i bought it, the android version supports widgets that essentially let you make custom remotes. or if you know coding, you can make your own fully custom remotes, for either android or iphone.
Actually, if the user has to repeatedly sign-in in every kissanime or kissmanga page, then simply adding disqus.com in the browser's "allow cookies from this site" should solve the problem.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.surfshark.free.proxy.trust.dns&hl=en_US
Hello u/mensabb, it appears you tried to put a link in a title, since most users cant click these I have placed it here for you
^I ^am ^a ^bot ^if ^you ^have ^any ^suggestions ^dm ^me
As suggested by others, use a vpn. Opera has its own vpn built into its browser you can use. If you're only using it to watch anime, I'd say it's good enough. However since its free, it's not trustworthy so don't use it for any other than trying to browse restricted websites.
If you actually want privacy and security with a vpn, I'd recommend express vpn and NordVPN in that order based on personal experience.
Use an alternative site which Disney hasn't gotten to yet (id recommend , which doesnt seem to be blocked as of now), or use a VPN (some sites block VPNs though, including kissanime). Be sure to be careful of free VPNs though, they either sell your data or are extremely slow. Make sure to turn them on ONLY when streaming. Id recommend ProtonVPN though cuz its probably the safest free one.
Edit: there are probably more workarounds to this, but im not an expert at all. Maybe try asking or searching r/animepiracy or r/piracy to see if there are other ways.
Try changing your DNS to either cloudflare’s or Google’s, then restart your device. Some countries only block sites on a DNS level. Otherwise, get a VPN. Some sites block VPNs, but you’ll eventually find one working for you probably. Id recommend ProtonVPN if you need a free one. Though it’s probably getter to get a premium vpn and just torrent at that point.
You can access the site immediately after disabling your VPN or finding a country that works. I've had luck with ProtonVPN for countries other than the United States and Australia. If you were logged in, you should be able to access it after 3-7 days. The MAL-Sync browser extension removes the need for an account.
So I’ve found my back in still using Adblock after getting banned.
If clearing your cookies isn’t working then they banned your IP, use ProtonVPN and pick a server that IS NOT located in the US or a country that blocks streaming sites (like Australia).
I’m not sure what exactly allowed me to bypass the Adblock ban but the only things I did was turn all my add ons off and back on, reinstall the userscript, and also followed ALL of the instructions on the old bypass thread, it’s linked in the current one.
I also use nano defender instead of ublock, which honestly, everybody should, works better with Nano Defender (designed for tandem use) and is leagues better then ublock, well it’s pretty much a custom version of it but I digress.
Ok, so what you can do is get Hotspot Shield and use the free version because last time I tried with hotspot shield it was fine. If that doesn't work use the Oprea browser and go into the settings and activate the browser VPN but untick the only use for private tabs and then activate it. Also, Oprea has an adblocker built-in and I don't think KA detects it so it is a win-win!
When you use a VPN, the site doesn't know what country you're in, only that you're using a VPN server based in that country. KissAnime does block almost every free VPN, but usually only the American/British/Australian servers. If you're able to do so in Warp, keep switching servers until you find one that works. If not, switch to ProtonVPN and use the Japanese server, which KissAnime does not detect even on the free tier.

Also, can I get a screenshot of what happens when you try to connect to KissAnime? I'm not sure if your ISP or the site is blocking you.
i use NordVPN connected to any of the australian servers and can access the site
alternatively you can use something like openDNS or google DNS to bypass the government block
try the DNS if you dont already have a VPN, use this guide
Paid VPN’s are always better. PIA is a good and cheap one. $40 for a year and $60 for 2 years. You can try it with $7 for a month (just do it - Nike) to see how it is for you.
ExpressVPN, VyprVPN, NordVPN are also good.
I don’t recommend free vpn software or extensions, but it’s up to you.
I used ProtonVPN free trial version and it would play fine, however, when my free trial was up it wouldn't work. So if you're willing to pay then I know through experience it works, if not then I'm afraid I don't know the answer. I haven't gotten around to trying any other vpn services.
Well, correct me if I am wrong, but in Australian law, the use of a vpn in and of it self is not illegal, its what you do while using a vpn that would be deemed illegal. So using a secure vpn (like SurfEasy) shouldn't cause you any issues, because its extremely difficult to track.
If youre really looking for a free one, look for free trials. Most VPN's that are good and provide great support and great encryption are paid. I cant recall any good ones that are Free^tm from the top of my head. I currently use PIA (Private Internet Access) and with a one year subscription you pay about 4 dollars a month, thats less than my lunch. So for so little I get a great VPN.
android: download tubio and watch/stream to chromecast with no ads*.
windows/mac: download noxPlayer(android emulator), install tubio and watch with no ads*.
https://nox-app-player.nl.softonic.com/
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aesoftware.tubio
tubio also works like a normal browser without chromecast, and noxPlayer is to emulate android to use tubio in windows/mac
`*tubio shows an ad while playing on chromecast, you won't even notice them. It's worth the trade against the annoying ads these websites provide.
Ay brotato, use If you use Google rewards you can get the paid for version for free with built in adblock. Web Video Caster https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instantbits.cast.webvideo
All you have to do is change your dns settings on your device and it'll unblock all websites. http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/how-to-change-your-dns-windows-10. Search up for other versions of windows or other operating systems. For mobile phones and tablets you can use a dns changer app. It'll allow you to access kissanime and bypass blocked websites. Download this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dnset&hl=en_GB No root and no vpn needed
Download this app. It changes your dns settings so you can access all blocked websites. no vpn needed. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dnset&hl=en_G And it doesnt require root
where do you have problems with 9anime and chromecast? I use them together all the time without issue.
I don't know if this makes the difference, but I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.instantbits.cast.webvideo (Web Video Cast) to do the casting as opposed to straight from Chrome.
