Salts now works with your new API key.
I had the same problem, this is what I did to solve it.
(Make sure Delay Release Dates by a day is turned off in settings.)
-First I changed my timezone (it was not set) on trakt.tv (https://trakt.tv/settings#datetime)
-(still on trakt.tv) Then I added GoT to my collection.
-Then I did a Force Sync Trakt Activities from tools> Trakt Sync Tools.
-Open Seren/My shows/Collection/Game Of Thrones/season 8/
The first episode showed up.
Hope this helps
First thing as a reporter, you should start by doing some investigation on your own, after all you are the one getting paid to write the story, are you not? After you do that investigation you might have some actual questions that don't get a laugh out of the experienced people. BTW best to avoid ANY and ALL articles that proclaim Kodi doom and gloom and sky is falling hyperbole, that is all FAKE NEWS, honestly it is!
Next, nothing writes a better story than experiencing it first hand, so go install Kodi and read the sticky thread at the top for suggested addons and enjoy some TV while you join us in laughing at all those silly and ignorant bloggers, Youtubers, reporters and journalist that make silly claims like there is a 'termination of stream' and a 'death of Kodi add-ons' proving they feed on sensationalized hyperbole and hear say.
NOT SAFE TO PRINT unless you donate $2500 with proof to the XBMC Foundation so they can continue to develop their fine media player.
Here is a link https://kodi.tv/contribute/donate
i got you.
Sign up for a real debrid premium account- https://real-debrid.com/
Go into your add-on settings or tools (incursion for example)
Go to accounts and find real debrid. Select it. It will take you into your URLResolve tool automatically
Find real debrid in this section and authorize your account, it'll give you directions on screen.
DONE
Quasar is an addon which grabs moves and TV show information from IMDB and TVDB and presents it along with a search feature. Quasar connect to different torrent websites which are used to grab all of the streams back into Quasar. The biggest torrent sites in the world are supported, meaning you can pick your favourite torrent site and find a working stream from there, just like you would if you were to download a torrent.
Voice typing! I can finally search for TV shows and movies using the mic on my FireStick remote, instead of having to hunt and peck for each letter.
Set up an account on trakt.tv, install the addon from the official Kodi repo (under programs) and then run the addon once it's installed (it will be under programs in Kodi and should prompt you to enter a code to pair with your account on its first run) - this will add all your shows/moves to your Trakt account.
Make sure you turn off the rate after viewing show/movie option in the Trakt addon settings, as it gets annoying when it prompts you after every show/movie. Also, it's best to not select the remove deleted movies/shows in the synchronize tab as it can be over-zealous.
Your first run of SALTS should prompt you to enter a code in the same way as your first Trakt run. After it syncs, your shows and movies should be available through the Salts addon. I know you can integrate Salts into your library like Genesis (same process, you find the movies/tv shows folder and add it as a source) but I don't know how to add all your shows automatically to the movies/tv shows folders - I'm sure it's possible, I just haven't needed to do it yet so haven't done much research.
The advantage of using Trakt is that if another video addon comes along which has Trakt compatibility, you don't have to manually add all your shows and movies. It also keeps track of which episodes you've watched - very handy if you use Kodi on multiple devices.
[as per szabirka's directions]
Hopefully this solves your issue
Basically any add-on that scrapes sources is a good one as they all use the same meta data with slightly different scrapers of sources. Exodus is done like last year's xmas dinner. To get a Netflix feel, there are skins you can use for that. I don't have that myself, but others can give you more direction on that. You will need a premium service like real-debrid.com which is less than $5 a month, but you can get shows from ALL the streaming services in HD.
Sure. cracks knuckles
First thing is you have to install the Real-Debrid Addon for Kodi. It's a google search away ;)
Now open your favorite torrent site, we'll use piratebay for example.
Now search for your favorite movie, we'll use blade runner 2049 for example purposes. See that magnet icon under the first link ? Right click on that icon and copy it's url to your clipboard.
Now go to https://real-debrid.com/torrents and paste your magnet url into the field on the right and click on convert.
This will make it so Real-Debrid will download the torrent for you.
Now open the Real-Debrid addon for Kodi, and click on "view torrents"
That's pretty much it, you can watch your torrents from there
> Most people don't realize that installing a repo from an untrusted source can be a very bad move. These repos can be used to wreak havoc on your HTPC/Kodi box and even your home network.
Only if you allow them to. Disable automatic updates, and check out each update as they come out. A repo is literally just a data directory on a remote server, it can't do any harm on its own. All it can do is make an update to an addon you already have installed, and put malicious code into it.
You can examine the code, and compare against older versions, with a tool like Winmerge or your favorite source control tool (git, etc.)
I've examined the 3.1.18 exodus update and it only has slight changes to a few files. Nothing harmful, but don't take my word for it, you can check for yourself.
Otherwise, if you lack the ability or tools to examine things for yourself, be wary, and let the community come to a consensus on what is safe. Don't rush to update, things should clear up in a week or two. Supposedly TVA will be back, so your current TVA repo may start working again at some point. Maybe not.
I would say that most of your problems are likely caused by the under-powered Amazon stick. I started using Kodi about 4 years ago and had a Fire stick. It was slow going, but it worked. 18 months ago I upgraded to a Fire TV Cube and Kodi now runs great. The difference in load times & overall ease of use are quite astonishing.
I have not upgraded my Kodi installation to 19 yet, I'm still using 18.5. Add to the base Kodi an add on called The Crew & you will be able to watch most programs easily & quickly.
I also use a VPN with Kodi (IPVanish) and I use Real Debrid. I never use Kodi without my VPN. My Internet connection is 76Mbps down, 20Mbps up currently.
I hope this helps.
I have Private Internet Access & notice a definite drop in speeds while using my VPN (from ~100mb/s to 20). I have contacted their customer service numerous times, but they are not helpful & always blame it on my devices.
It’s impossible to block all VPNs. Ask China. My VPN provider is one of the few that works perfectly for getting around their firewall. The problem is that people flock to popular VPN companies like IPVanish (because it is extensively advertised on just about every site that even mentions Kodi) rather than finding a smaller provider.
As for throttling the traffic of a user connected to a VPN, that’s possible but some VPNs like the one I have use ports that would break the internet if they were throttled to avoid that issue.
If you use kore the official remote you can pretty much control kodi on any device. I don't use the ftv remote anymore the damn things just chew through batteries. I rarely use the directional pad on kore either you can swipe from the left for a context menu with the options for addons. In that menu once you have selected an add-on you can swipe once to the right and you have "content" ... It allows you to browse through any add-ons content selecting what you want or queue it up in a playlist without having to actually flick through it on kodi on your TV/PC or whatever your controlling I primarily use it on my phone (Nexus 6)
Other than the screen size no there really isn't any other advantage that I'm aware of
Actually they are helping by not providing the search functionality.

Think about it. If a cached file could be found through search, then the owner companies would do that. Then force real-debrid to provide the list users who are downloading it. (Yes, they will do that. As described in their policy.).

> We may be required to disclose Users personal data in order to protect our legal rights or where disclosure of Users personal data's are required of us by the judicial authorities only when legal procedures are followed.

If you have used credit card to subscribe, it's super easy to find out where you are from. Once they find who downloaded these files, then the owner companies can sue you in your country. Do you really want that?
I like your Best Kodi VPN 2017 "review", you link in your guide [Link]! What are selection criteria beside affiliate-marketing to get into your vpn-toplist?
ipvanish: addonhq/?a_aid=56eb217896b2b&a_bid=48f95966&chan=ultimateguide
NordVPN: aff_c?offer_id=15&aff_id=1678&source=review
PIA: addonhq-02
ExpressVPN: a_aid=addonhq&chan=bestexpress

...undermines your credibility a bit, don't you think?
You'd use a VPN inside of Kodi for much the same reasons you would use one outside of Kodi, in any country: to encrypt your traffic and protect your privacy, especially when using torrenting or similar peer-to-peer data transmission and sharing; or to access region-specific content from areas outside of the regions specified.
Private Internet Access is a very good a VPN service provider: reliable, strongly performant, quite protective of your privacy and reasonably inexpensive for what you get.

Yep, a lot of Kodi users think Real-Debrid is just for use with streaming addons, but actually R-D doesn't support Kodi add-ons at all. The service is really a way to access file lockers and download torrents from the web site. The addons using R-D are actually hacks and behind the scenes they talk to the R-D site as if they are doing it manually.

To download a torrent with R-D go to https://real-debrid.com/torrents and paste in the magnet link or upload the .torrent file and then just go do something else and let R-D retrieve the file for you. You are allowed up to 25 concurrently active torrents at a time. After it's done click on the box next to the completed file and you are taken to the download page and given the choice to download or view the file, but this time it is coming from the R-D servers as a direct download. Like I said, it has been ages since I fired up a dedicated torrent client. R-D is just easier, quicker, and safer.
> Napster was software. Limewire was software.
No, they were companies, with infrastructure. Napster fully engaged in the sharing of copyrighted material, with their servers.
Limewire caved into a suit without ever finishing the trial, and shut down their company. The software still works fine.
Kodi requires no infrastructure, has no peer to peer functionality, and can only render video and music files to a television.
These were all lawsuits and not federal copyright criminal actions. Kodi can get sued, they can be totally destroyed by a lawsuit. That hurts the several individuals on the foundation board. It does nothing to stop the software, or its multiple forks, developed completely outside of that framework.
I would suggest a tool like Winmerge which allows you to compare entire directory structures and their file contents. Or a good source control toolkit like git if you are familiar. Then you can know these things for yourself.
Having said that, I have done this comparison, from a known good version of Exodus from prior to this new repo, to the latest version in this repo. The changes I see are to the trakt api, library integration code, various changes to site specific scraping code, and some other little tweaks here and there. Nothing huge, nothing malicious either. I have no idea who made these changes mind you, but there is nothing in there that is evil.
That also doesn't mean that a repo can't suddenly push fully malicious code at any time. Any repo can do this if you have auto-updates turned for whatever addon. Might wanna disable that and manually check until you feel comfortable with these new repos.
Inexpensive, reliable, and works great with Debrid services. Oh, and you can choose with apps the VPN applies to or not (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, etc.)
I use NordVPN and think it is a pretty good provider. It is not that expensive, has decent speeds and is easy to use. And of course, ensure anonymity and security. So from my personal experience, I can recommend only Nord because it is the only one I tried actually but never felt the need to switch.
They even have a tutorial for it.
They have 6 dedicated servers in the UK and they keep the status of the server load up to date and free for anyone to view.
They also have excellent and responsive tech support and they don’t oversell. They have multiple ISO certifications due to their status as a netsec company and they’re in Romania.

This post will help you!
https://reddit.com/r/Addons4Kodi/comments/9xtybx/trakt_lists/
I use 'Gilad and Alex' from the list as a widget for HD releases in Seren.
https://trakt.tv/users/giladg/lists
Follow instructions in that post to add new trakt list to your own trakt list so you can have a widget or section in Seren.
Install the skin first:
This will take awhile.
Then install:
And enable them in settings. Once that is done you will be able to activate the "Weather" widget.
This was one of the bugs in the original Eminence 2 MOD release that is fixed in this version.
Also all the images have been jpegoptim & OptiPNG.
This reduced the size of the skin from 29.5 MB to 18.9 MB.
Hi, yes, "they" is partly me. I literally wrote the Kodi renaming blog post you are talking about. I and /u/darksiderising were responding to the fact that the OP did not say "XBMC." He or she said, "XMBC" which is a common misspelling of XBMC. Ironically, half the people replying to this thread then continued misspelling it.
My joke back in the XBMC days when somebody would misspell it was to reference the XrossMediaBar. So for fun, I did that again here.
You should include the PS Vue kodi add-on in your build for him.
It should work, If you send him a google drive link he could download the file to his devices (Shield TV and Mi Box) and then tell the backup add-on where to look for that file and restore it.
You could also setup an Aftermath Wizard with your build. Then you could use it to update the build over time for him. Here is a YouTube video about Aftermath Wizard.
Fun fact, a few years ago "your favor kodi setup" rarely meant "how have you altered the skin" and instead referred to how have you set up your home theater. There was even a friday blog series I wrote on the subject.
Have you tried doing a speed test from the premiumize and real debrid websites. You may need to change CDN's to get best speed.
Can't thank you enough Jacanuck basically my VPN is a "Non Cooperative" VPN so some links work and some don't, just went through

Checked all my links and sure enough some weren't working so I've adjusted and it seems ok now, once again many thanks much appreciated.
Bruh. Maybe start with this.
Not really being condescending either. But the fact you're asking that question means you have zero understanding of coding. Start at the beginning.
Quasar is an addon which grabs moves and TV show information from IMDB and TVDB and presents it along with a search feature. Quasar connect to different torrent websites which are used to grab all of the streams back into Quasar. Repo zip download: Quasar Repository
This isn't exactly what you're asking for but I generally use one of the Exodus forks (Venom, Scrubs, etc) linked to Trakt and follow this list. It's really well maintained and anything new that's released shows up here. https://trakt.tv/users/giladg/lists/latest-documentaries?sort=added,asc
HA. If you use the https://trakt.tv/users/giladg/lists/latest-releases trakt list for movies, yep all the movies are there now, but the ones that were missing are now replaced with just Genre: bla bla bla... If you go to check information..... no information available
you should follow (like) this guy (https://trakt.tv/users/giladg/lists/latest-releases) he puts up all the new stuff but nothing if it dont have decent sources. I have his list as a widget bar.
Not trying to argue, but here is the Kodi download page: https://kodi.tv/download
Pretend you know nothing about Kodi, and tell me how (based on what is available through the Kodi.tv download page) you would install Kodi to Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV 2, Apple TV 4, iPhone, iPad, Raspberry Pi...
They simply do not provide that information in a manner that's even remotely easy for newbies to begin to comprehend.
Free links hardly exist anymore and if they do they are generally shit quality or buffer s ton.
Make an account and purchase a period of time (start small, probably a month to test, it's like $3)
Then go into an addon that supports real debrid and find in the settings where you can authorize real-debrid. Follow the settings on screen and you should have the account authorized and a ton of working links
Go here and delete all X https://real-debrid.com/devices
Then in Seren, Tools, Wipe Addon Data, after restart Kodi and setup your Real-debrid in Seren. Also for other addons and apps Authorize Resolvers https://real-debrid.com/device
I use Real Debrid on Kodi. I went to this site to purchase it https://real-debrid.com/ . It's relatively cheap. when it's working (which for me is about 80% of the time) with placenta. the links it provides stream way more reliably and don't cut out when you have a good internet connection like the free links do. I personally think it's worth it if you watch a lot of movies/tv
An example of a premium service is Real-Debrid (https://real-debrid.com )
When you subscribe to their service, you gain access to files they or their users have already cached or downloaded (or torrented), directly. Without mention of Kodi, when using RD, I can download via HTTPS a file from them that I normally would have torrented, and it maxes our my internet connection (so I get it VERY fast). In the event that one of their users hasn't already downloaded it, I can tell RD to download the torrent for me, and once its ready download direct to my PC, such that my own personal network connection and computer is not actually doing any of the torrenting, which is advantageous for users who might be worried about torrenting in their location for policy or legal reasons.
Now let's consider Gaia and Kodi. Within Gaia, it searches these cached repositories if you enable access to your Real-Debrid or other premium services accounts. If it finds the movie/show you're looking to stream as a cached file (indicated by CACHED), it will immediately start streaming the file to you from that premium service, which we know is capable of achieving max speed, so this is an excellent viewing experience (no buffering etc., even for super high quality files, even 4K).
By default, Gaia will show you NON cached torrents as well. If you have enabled RD via Gaia, and select a non cached torrent file (indicated by TORRENT), your RD account will be notified by KODI and will start to download the file on your behalf - and once finished, will stream to your Gaia / Kodi. Generally this isn't useful as it can take hours for a download to finish (or sometimes minutes). When this is the case, I only select a TORRENT vs CACHED stream if no cached streams of the quality I desire are available.
Hope that clears things up for you.
This is my own experience from using RD for 6 or 7 months on a LibreELEC based system, I often find after using a multi scrapping addon, such as Covenant or Death Streams after the links are listed, no matter how many links are listed the RD links wont play, BUT with going to https://real-debrid.com/downloads, kodi has definitely resolved the links as I can see them there, just kodi wont play them, with other addons that don't scrape alot of sites at once, RD works fantastic, I don't know if this is a bug with URLResolver or LibreELEC
BUT the solution I've found is doing a reboot when this happens and using this addon to play any media that kodi has previously resolved with RD
I've been using NordVPN lately and it works well for me, although it doesn't have the split tunneling function that would limit it to one app, but I personally don't need it anyway because I need the vpn and netflix combo to get past geo-restrictions.
Try with a VPN, you can get a free trial of NordVPN here ->
It’s going to be much easier to diagnose if we eliminate your ISP as the problem first.
Note: My choice of NordVPN is specifically because they offer a 100% free trial that takes PayPal so you don’t have to worry about shady charges, I don’t use NordVPN myself and cannot speak to the performance of the service but my VPN provider doesn’t offer a free trial.
The fact that the device works at the office strongly points to your ISP.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.retroarch&hl=en
There's also ppsspp for PSP and epsxe or fpse for PlayStation, used both and they work good. Reicast is out for Dreamcast. Then these which all appear to need purchase and I kind of already listed http://www.androidauthority.com/best-emulators-for-android-315958/
Really trial and error on which performs best for what setup. You should be able to favorite the Android apps in Kodi and launch from there.
If it's just for TV shows and movies I have a better solution for you.
Get an app called "Showbox" and an app called "LocalCast"
Showbox will be used to find the content and just set LocalCast as the video player, select your Chromecast and you're set!
It's so simple and most movies and TV shows are available in 720p streams without the need to search through links.
Gilad & Alex's list is pretty much the best that I have found. They basically mirror RARBG but throw in screeners of popular movies, and they do it manually, full kudos to them! Usually this is the best you are going to get.
They also do a 4K list... https://trakt.tv/users/giladg/lists/latest-4k-releases
So no Korean versions in there.
These are really good!
I think the link for sp1ti needed fixing, though :)
I'd also like to add ACLO_Networks to the list. Lists of shows for pretty much every channel I've ever heard of.
Latest Releases by Gilad & Alex
Updates with the latest HD scene releases.
Simply like this list on Trakt, and most add-ons which have Trakt integration will let you view it inside Kodi.
Especially useful with Gaia, since these brand new releases are usually torrents, and seldom get to hosters until after home release.
I'm manually updating my own list based on the latest releases from several private trackers. I only add stuff that's been uploaded in 1080p. It's not going to have everything, as it's a personal list, but it has all of the major films.
Someone might find it useful. If there's enough interest, I could create another that includes all latest releases.
https://www.launchbox-app.com Like this?
I'm on Mac, they said it's the PC version of OpenEmu. Personally I Kodi from Android box that plugged into TV, then again, I don't have Steam in console mode there.
First of all, Kodi is not gray area. It's the way people use it that make it gray. By default, their own repository doesn't have anything gray and so many people make this mistake of confusing Kodi with piracy or something like that. It's like saying Windows means piracy because there is pirated software and game out there that can be used on Windows.
Same goes for TV. Kodi is just a platform. They don't provide IPTV, they provide only the means to do that, in a legal way.
So please, stop confusing Kodi with piracy, it has nothing to do with it. You can read more about how this is killing Kodi: https://kodi.tv/the-piracy-box-sellers-and-youtube-promoters-are-killing-kodi/
Most video add-ons will get you TV shows from any network and streaming service. TheOath has a Networks category and will pull free links. However, finding sources may be a problem. You will get the best results using a Debrid service like Real-Debrid.com which is less than $5 a month. Just check out the Recommended Add-ons thread pinned at the top of the list of threads in this forum.
Are RD streams unwatchable or ALL streams?
The reason I ask is because when you request a stream through RD, it gets sent to their servers and they connect to the hoster and stream the file from their servers to you. If something happens and you cannot get a decent connection to their servers, that is your problem.
You can test this very easily.
Real-Debrid actually keeps a log of everything you have tried to watch with their service.
https://real-debrid.com/downloads
Go there in your browser and hit the video icon on a stream and see if it plays. If it does, you have eliminated their servers as the problem (you can further test this by grabbing the download link and looking at the rate of transfer). If it does not play on your computer, try to play it on your cell phone over your provider’s data connection as well as your personal WiFi. If it plays in both of those scenarios, your computer is the problem. If it plays on your wireless provider but not your WiFi, it is your ISP at fault - be it through peering or otherwise.
If your tests prove inconclusive or show that RD’s servers will not work with your ISP, you can ask /u/cody_premiumize for a trial of Premiumize. Premiumize has CDNs that you can choose which can help you with interconnection issues. Since you use Gaia, I would recommend Premiumize anyway. It’s a more expensive service but in many cases, you get what you pay for, and I have both RD and PM and what I’ve found is that lately RD has been a lot more problematic than PM, especially when it comes to torrent streaming in Gaia which PM handles with finesse.
Although I can't comment on your current setup, I might recommend tunneling all transmissions done through kodi using a good VPN service to eliminate any "oops" if your IP gets exposed. I've been using Torguard since I started downloading torrents, even before streaming with Seren. They don't keep any logs either so even if the feds come knocking there's nothing to hand over. It's more peace of mind for myself and idiotproofing my luck!
The most popular Android Benchmark is AnTuTu:
https://www.antutu.com/en/index.htm
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antutu.ABenchMark
Obviously it is a separate app. My Aurora Play Store (from F-Droid) confirmed that it uses Google Play Services and has trackers built in, but that's the norm for something from Google Play.
I think, as you can probably see from their website, that you can compare your system's results with similar systems.
Hmm. My phone is fairly new - I might give the benchmark a run.
Same thing happening to me tonight. I did all the usual maintenance and it didn't help. I turned on VPN and I could get sources to scrape and start to stream but then I have to turn off VPN as the stream stops. (Totally different issue I have had for the last month with ExpressVPN and RD).
Edit to add: on Nvidia Shield and Leia 18.1, US (IN)
I now that NordVPN, Proton and PrivateVPN also have kill-switch features. Kill-switch in my opinion is a very handy feature, because then you are 100% sure, that no data will ever leak from your device.
It depends on your addon. If you're simply using Exodus or Specto, etc., you don't need one. And really any of them will work. IPVanish just gets recommended by all of those sites because they have coupon codes for them, but ones like ExpressVPN will work the same.
Short answer: you don't need one unless you're torrenting.
Not bad at all.
I run my VPN through my router webui tool (tomato).. and simply enable/disable it as needed. This obviously puts my whole network behind my VPN, which doesn't bother me but some may not want that. The instructions above, will just put the Kodi box behind the VPN.
If you're considering a VPN, Private Internet Access is awesome. I can't remember if I'm coming up on 4 or 5yrs using them... but I've been quite happy with them. No more nasty letters from Xfinity for downloads, watching PPV's, etc.
Where do you live? We live in McKinney. I put this antenna in the attic. We get all the local channels with a better picture than when we had TWC. We also get a lot of other stations.
This is the only way I sold my wife on Kodi. I was not able to find a way to incorporate local DFW news into Kodi itself.
Hope this helps.
umm cause there is not a 2nd season ?
pretty sure the "2nd season" is called "The Haunting of Bly Mano"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Haunting_of_Bly_Manor
https://trakt.tv/shows/the-haunting/seasons/2
Try searching "the haunting" or "the haunting of bly manor "
> Not working for me either. Any other mirrors?
This morning I downloaded all the modules (except 3 that were missing) from that URL while it was still working. I will try to make Plexus download the modules from my own PC again. If it works I will upload a .zip/.rar file with the modules.
EDIT: At least the Raspberry Pi 2 Modules are working great :) Find the modules here: https://mega.nz/#!kUVlULIK!ou_bgTsIH9CUZZYTlZ4Wn2TGYeztIhUrM_i4FuFQKvw
Great Thanks /u/nixgates !!
Question regarding the change of custom providers: When we used the tinyurl.com/a4scrapers solution from Reapers Guide on Seren, how should we handle this now? Should we wipe all addon data and configure it from the beginning? if yes, which provider source should we use?
Thanks for clarification. when im home in the afternoon, i will update right away
The Gilad & Alex latest releases list (as mentioned above) is very good. I've always been able to find the movies on it, and importantly good quality streams.
https://trakt.tv/users/giladg/lists/latest-releases?sort=added,asc
Just to be clear you do NOT need VIP / paid trakt , a free account will work perfect and is what I and nix even use , NO VIP features are needed or used in seren . :)

signup , then you auth trakt in seren settings
First verify that you've hidden trakt watched progress and not calendar at https://trakt.tv/settings/hidden
You probably need to force a new sync with Trakt in Seren>Tools>Trakt syncing Tools or whatever it is and clear cache etc.
Like Serepent said, you'd have to create a personal track list and add the movies (you could do this all at trakt.tv) or possibly use the SuperFavourites addon to create a folder named "Marvel" and favorite each Marvel movie in there from the redux menus etc.

.... Or (what I do) depending on how many movies you are goin to be adding just add it to your 'Watchlist'..... This isn't an organized way of doing it but it works if you don't have shit ton of movies and are lazy like me.
Check out this trakt list made be /u/giladg, and search for something popular on that list so you know there's actually 4K versions of it.
I have absolutely abysmal wifi at my work and I just pulled up 4K content. It's buffering a bit when I play it, but it was at least able to find 4K content. If you aren't at least able to find this content, your addons are setup wrong, something is up with your local network, or your ISP is the issue.
Unfortunately the 2 latter items are much more difficult to troubleshoot.
as the crazy bot stated, for live content you're better off with a paid IPTV service. as for your "same profile" inquirey get a trakt.tv account (its free) and will give you ample options to share you movie and show watching experience between devices. for local stuff get a HD antenna
If you plan on using addons use a Debrid service like real debrid or premiumize. they are both low cost (as little as few $s per month) services that will give you high quality links as high speeds and also hide your content from prying eyes.
lastly, don't waste your money on firesticks. they are low end devices that are very limited in the quality of streams you will be able to use. If your tech savvy build you own using a raspberry pi. board/flirc case/32gb sdcard/power adapter/remote would cost about $80 and you will be very happy with its performance.
hope that helps a bit

Disclaimer: these are only suggestions based on my experiences and the number of complaints i've read about the FS. your mileage may vary
Odds are you're looking at Korean subs , not Japanese. -but- here is a trakt list updated daily-ish, that lists "new" "hd" releases. Hd is in quotes because he doesn't differentiate between kor-sub ppv releases and web-rip/dvdblurip. That said, it's the go-to list for what's new and great.
Its a Kodi Touchscreen issue. Kodi has fixed the issue and will be rolled out in 19.2, BUT you can install the Kodi 19.1 nightly/Prerelease versions that have the Touchscreen fix included. Click PRERELEASE here: https://kodi.tv/download/android
I don't have an Apple TV, but I've successfully used Wako + Infuse on my iPhone to cast any movie or episode (including external subtitles) to an AirPlay 2 compatible Samsung TV. An Apple TV 4K should work even better.
Take a look at r/sideloaded. There are multiple signing services. The most notable ones are AppDB, Signulous, iPAStore, iOSGods, among others.
There are several great add-ons: Seren, The Oath, Fen, a4kStreaming, Venom, etc. You have a wide variety to choose from.
Kodi v19.1 (Matrix) is the latest stable release for any platform, including tvOS. I would only suggest downgrading if you encounter any bugs or compatibility issues with other add-ons.
Here is where you go for daily updated list of high quality movies. It doesn't link to them, that is what placenta/gaia are for. This just pets you know what's new in hd. https://trakt.tv/users/giladg/lists/latest-releases
Gaia have a recommended list TV Shows and Movies from Trakt and i don't see a problem with using Trakt manger and adding them to my collection for free. But i don't see what they recommend is worth paying for. . In Exodus forks it's called Featured .In Gaia and Metalliq forks it called recommended. Also Discover is in Exodus forks it's in Gaia as well it just not called that and its free to add the shows or movies to you're collection as well.
Trakt can be setup different ways in Gaia i do know that much and the way one person use it may not be the way you like it . I changed mine around to the way i wanted it.
Here is what vip has https://trakt.tv/vip
But i doubt there's any addons that support most of all this it's mostly stuff were you have use there website to do witch i don't lol.
Do you search each time you wish to watch an episode, or have you saved The Originals to favorites/library? Remove any instances from favorites/library. Then go to Neptune's tools menu and clear the cache. Now add the show using trakt.
Basically you sign up for free at trakt.tv website. Then you go to tools on the NeptuneRising menu and select accounts, then trakt. It will give you instructions on how to authorize NeptuneRising to use your trakt collection. Once thats done you can add The Originals to your trakt collection by searching for it from the trakt website or from within Neptune itself (My TV Shows --> Search).
You will only need to do this once, and it will allow you to add the correct show from the posters and details shown. Then whenever you wish to watch, you just go to My TV Shows --> Collection.
This is very handy for many reasons and in your case it should overcome the mixup in metadata.
If you have a Trakt account you can follow the list in the link below. This list will show up as Latest Releases under My Movies > Movie Lists in Incursion and can be set as a widget in many skins.
It varies on when the scene sees rips > cams/ts's. Big pictures like Black Panther generally take abit longer as the sources are abit more guarded. Here is a takt list that is updated regularly with HQ/HD rips - > https://trakt.tv/users/giladg/lists/latest-releases
trakt does a number of things:
Collection - you can set tv series and movies as collected, ie. they are in your collection. Then in supporting apps like covenant they will appear in teh "my collection" section
Watchlists - you can add tv series or movies to watchlists. Things you want to watch, again, in supporting apps they appear in your watchlist.
Scrobbling - when you watch a movie or tv series with a support app it "scrobbles" ie, it tells trakt you are watching it. this has two purposes, 1) it can built up a list of what you have watched, so for instance if you look on my trakt page you can see all my stats.. https://trakt.tv/users/dimspace but 2) more importantly it tracks your progress, so you can see how far into each series you are https://trakt.tv/users/dimspace/progress - what this does in supported apps is automatically queue the next episode of everything you watch so you dont have to remember where you were
You need to go to Trakt and create an API App. here's the direct link make a name for the app and skip everything until you see redirect uri: urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob
Check both permissions then click save. Now you will see those 2 values labeled as Client ID and Secret Key or something. Copy those values into the Exodus tool and reauthorize your Trakt account then restart Kodi. Make sure you use a new account to create the API app as Trakt may suspend your account for using it with Exodus
Yeah sure. Ill upload the new version to the website, it will be 3.1.18
I would love some feedback
It works by opening Exodus->tool-trakt api override
enable the checkbox goto https://trakt.tv/oauth/applications/new and register a new app
get the client id and put it into the api key box
get the client secret and it in the client secret box
click ok
exit exodus and log back in
It works fine for me but would love to find any flaws before I put it up on repository.
There is an add-on called next-up notification which adds the netflix style popup at the end of a video. Tried it myself and found it works really well.
https://kodi.tv/addon/services/nextup-service-notification
The only thing I can suggest is LazyTv https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=170975
> So, it is about money, then? Fuck you. You are leeching on free open source software to make money, Fuck you and fuck TV Addons. Cunts. Post the figures then, let's see the profits.
Uh, I haven't made a dime from any of this, I'm trying to inform you thats all. You seem to need it. If the money side is new to you, I dunno what to tell you. TVA was always an ad laden site.
As for your ignorant statement about open source, go tell that to Redhat. Or, better yet, tell that to Kodi with their "Diamond" sponsors and others paying them. Open source has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with free as in beer. It is free as in speech. Here have a read from Stallman himself about selling open source software.
Specifically: "Actually, we encourage people who redistribute free software to charge as much as they wish or can. If a license does not permit users to make copies and sell them, it is a nonfree license. If this seems surprising to you, please read on."
I hope your dream world of corporations crushing those who enable all of this for your thieving, freeloading ass, doesn't come true. They do not have your best interest at heart, even though you both want to crush the same people, all because they had an affiliate link on a web site you used the shit out of to steal endless amounts of media.
Looks like the Transparency skin
Edit: I was wrong. This is the new default skin for Kodi 17
No you don't need a VPN don't believe those "guide" websites that say you should get one either
They are just after referrals to earn money on
With RD it's all encrypted streams you will see the option for encrypted in the settings it should be on by default if not just change it from "normal" to "secured"
All your ISP will see is a random link that you streamed "something" from RD but not what it was so it could be family videos or legal content for all they know
For example
https://real-debrid.com/streaming-5MFMNZEJSFQYS
Is this a video of my dog fetching a stick Or is it one of the Harry Potter movies?
Could be either one couldn't it? 😉
Your using a VPN , more likely RD is killing your connection because of that .
RD does not like or work well with vpns .

Check to see if your IP address is whitelisted by Real Debrid:
Some VPNs are completely whitelisted and others may only have their older servers whitelisted. See this link Reddit link from 5 months ago:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Addons4Kodi/comments/7go5oe/real_debrid_and_ipvanish_wont_play_nicely/
I have been using RD on my 1st Gen Fire TV for almost three years and I have never had a "buffer issue" so here are a few things to check:
Amazon has refurbished Gen 1 Fire TV's for 49.99 shipped with prime. https://www.amazon.com/Certified-Refurbished-Amazon-Previous-Generation/dp/B00DU15MU4 or you can get a nexus player for 72.99 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Google-Black-Nexus-Player-Streaming-Media-Console-B-Grade/111814999645
This will change with the new Fire TV Stick 4K with all-new Alexa Voice Remote, streaming media player will be released on October 31, 2018 https://www.amazon.com/Introducing-Fire-TV-Stick-4K-with-All-New-Alexa-Voice-Remote/dp/B079QHML21/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1539934424&sr=8-11&keywords=amazon+fire+stick#tech. This more than enough to handle anything Kodi has. I personally use and recommend a Nvidia Shield worth the cost to me. But the new 4K Fire TV Stick is cheap at 49.99
Wako / RD / Seren / Trakt / WatchNixtoons2 - That's my setup.
AuraMod for overall interface and tweaks (using on Shield Pro)

A bit of info on Wako for everyone else.
I watch RD items on my phone while putting kids to sleep. Great addon / app.
NVIDIA SHIELD TV app download to your phone from Google Play store while playing a video Press o choose keyboard from the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nvidia.shield.remote&hl=en_US
Depends man. Are you wanting to use the Sunday ticket app? If so you should also download the app IPVanish. You can switch cities and get access to your team if it's blocked out. Great way to bypass blocked areas.
You Express vpn ip i blocked by RD maybe.
You can go here to see.
If it’s blocked you can mail them with and screenshot and they will unblock your ip from there list.
I have done this a few times.
I have never had any problems with PM and ExpressVPN.
Hope this helps!
Install Plex Media Server onto the Shield. It works some magic that allows you to mount the Shield as a network drive in Linux
Sideload Firefox Nightly
Try out some custom launchers. I'm a big fan of Top TV Launcher 2
Download Smart Youtube TV for ad-free Youtubing
Use the Private Internet Access App. It's only a few £ a month and has it's own adblocker included
It's particularly simple to backup/clone your Kodi setup between Linux and Android. Just move the entire .kodi file from to your home folder in Linux
There is no such thing as a free VPN which is worth using. I use Private Internet Access which actually is quite cheap and works very well. That said I will probably switch to ExpressVPN, which is more expensive, because PIA doesn't support geohopping while ExpressVPN does. Also, I haven't tried it, but IIRC Gaia4 has some kind of VPN built in which you can enable in settings.
If you only stream R-D torrent sources (cached or not) you don't really need a VPN for anonymity since R-D does the torrenting for you and nobody can eavesdrop on the eventual direct download from R-D. That said, if your ISP throttles traffic it thinks are video streams then you might benefit from the traffic obfuscation a VPN provides.
