Just get ace player on your android phone
Google play link
Or use this one It's the older version which is no longer in the play store but works like a charm
For you guys that want to watch the World Cup but can't afford it and too lazy to go to the community club, here's how.
First you would have to download a application called Acestream on Windows here and on android here. For Windows it will also install another software call Aceplayer which you will use to stream and for android is as it is.
To watch, you would have to retrieve a Acestream link and it is available on /r/soccerstreams. There will a thread for every match and in the comments there will be links for the different resolution. The link will work well for the rest of the day and you would have to retrieve it everyday if the old link does not work anymore.
I use this app from my Android devices: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media
On Windows I use Ace Player, check this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Chromecast/comments/4vl5s9/acestream_windows_to_chromecast_a_short_guide/
I've watched on acestream before, and on LTE it streamed really well. Managed the whole United v Everton game with only a minute of lag around the 30 minute mark. Get the Ace Stream Media app from the Play Store, and use any of the acestream:// links from /r/soccerstreams. You'll need to make an account to use the mobile app, so a throwaway email is a good idea. Good luck!
Acestream is a bittorrent-like solution for live streams. Works great for MMA PPVs, MNF too.
Right before the game go to SLASH R SLASH EN ACHE EL streams, find the game.
In the comments there's a post with a long string (dkd8fhs8snwn8d89s9sl...)
Copy, open Acestream, click menu on upper left, click "Enter content ID"
It'll take about 10 seconds to load, choose where you want it to play (chromecast, player on the phone, etc.) Usually 1080p 60fps too. Drops out occasionally but comes right back.
If you use android then you can
Still works on Android... just need 1 apk called Ace Stream Media and find ace links via browser...
My raspberry couldn't handle android installation though so ended up using a smartphone...
It is if you're on android!
You can use acestream on an android phone if you have one.
1) Install Ace Stream Media
2) Install VLC
3) Open Ace Steam -> hit the ... in the top right -> Enter Content ID
4) Paste the acestream link: acestream://3cf32325ca45e0179e0b1a3e3ad8d2de5296edcd
5) Choose VLC as the player.
Rips through battery and data, so I'm just using it until a youtube steam appears. Fingers crossed.
The official acestream app in the play store casts torrents really well. Just select the torrent file in whatever file browser you have and select acestream engine from the available options.
I'm using the Ace Stream engine available from Playstore, slightly newer version but shouldn't matter in this case.
I guess back to whole screen casting then.
Uh, I've never done it via Mobile. But I did a google search and there is an app in the play store. Link is here. Is a beta though?
I guess you'll just have to find a place to copy and paste acestream://72a814d15884761ee3d0dcbc311ccf5c1676df80 into the content ID on the application.
Podes verlo desde el celular / tablet con la app de Ace Stream y la de VLC
The best way I've found is by installing Ace Stream Media on your Android phone. Copy one of the acestream:// URLs, and press Enter Content ID in the top right enter and paste that URL. Then it'll give you the option to cast or watch it on your phone.
If you have an Android here is the link the the app. Download that then click the three dots in the upper right. Click on "enter content id" and paste in the link you find in the soccerstream sub. Enjoy. You do not need to create an account or sign in.
If you want to watch or stream to a computer, go to acestream.org and download it to your computer. Then open acestream and look for where to enter in the content id from acestream. From a computer you can't cast it to a computer (at least with Chromecast) but if you are using acestream on a phone you can.
I signed in with my Google account. Was very straightforward. I use it very often and it's very good and easy to use
Edit: Here is the link to the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media
Install the Ace Stream Media from Play store
And then use the above mentioned acestream id to play via VLC or any other installed player.
You should, it is the official Acestream client for Android. Ignore the login screen, it is not required.
It is only an engine for the protocol, not a media player, you give it an ace ID and it opens it in an external player, such as VLC. MXPlayer works too.
Don't know if there is a way to cast from a computer but I'm casting from my smartphone. Just download the acestream media beta, input the acestream id and cast to the TV. I use it on the mibox but it should work with your Sony as well.
Step 1: Install app Ace stream Media (Beta) for Android
Step 2: Install app AceStream Links Sports for Android
Step 3: Open app AceStream Links Sports and find the match you want to watch
Step 4: Enjoy !
Yes, this solution is actually a combination of Acestream and VLC. It does seem to work very well indeed.
I haven't used Kodi, but Plex works great streaming from my local media server. I think Kodi is kind of similar?
Also if you use it for some streams, the Ace Stream Android app works pretty well, paired with the VLC Android app (the VLC Chrome App is absolute trash though).
So, for android, you can actually use acestreams if one is available! Download Ace Stream Engine from the play store.
Failing that, try zooming in and clicking bangon the 'x' to close the advert. If it still opens a popup, pressing "back" might reset the streamer's site, so click the number in the top right. This will open up your current tabs, where you can decide which is the advert(s) and slide them away without resetting the streamer's site.
If you still have issues with a certain site on mobile, and it is labeled as mobile friendly, report it (both Reddit and our site have this functionality). This lets the mods know something is up and one of us can try it out on a few different mobile platforms and if it's clearly not mobile friendly we'll ask the streamer to fix this/change their tag.
For Android users install this. No need to make an Acestream account. Just opening the app and letting it run in the background makes it work.
A few days ago I managed to get AceStream working directly in my Sony Android TV. To do so, just install AceStream Beta from the Play Store by sideloading the app in the TV extracted from an android phone (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media&hl=en) and MX Player. Then get a link to an AceStream channel, copy it in your phone and paste it in the AceStream engine in Android TV using your phone as a WiFi remote controller. When the video buffers, select MX Player to play it. The only issue was a pretty big audio delay, but since it was constant and MX Player has a feature to compensate audio delays, it was easily solvable.
I've never done it on my android, but there's an apk on the wiki, and if you check G Play there's an app
My bad for the delay, you use the ES file explorer. Easiest way is download the .apk from another device upload to the cloud like G drive, One Drive then go to ES file explorer under 'Cloud' left hand side select your cloud service , login and download the .apk from there. You then install AceStream on your firestick.
Be sure you download latest version
You can the launch the app return leave this running in background and return to home screen using home or back button. Now launch Kodi.
Make sure in Plexus you have launch with external app configured.
Sky Sports 1（720p for now）
to use this link, download Ace Stream Media(Windows, Android) or Soda Player(MAC/Windows)
Windows - Ace Player
Android - Google Play

Actually linux works just fine these days. Acestream Engine
Also OSX. Soda Player
You can also stream using your android phone using Ace Stream Media
I use one of these options to stream to my chromecast. Works well
1080p Sky Sports Main Event Acestream:
to use Acestream download Ace Stream Media(Windows, Android) or Soda Player(MAC/Chromecast/Windows)
Or "Made in Canada" is good too
Note There are 4 things to get that working 100% (assuming an Android based box):
Acestream - Sky Sports Main Event:
Sky Sports Action（720p）
1080p Sky Sports Action Acestream:
576p Sky Sports Main Event Acestream:
BT Sport 1（576p）
EDIT: Another link
To use this link, download Ace Stream Media(Windows, Android) or Soda Player(MAC/Windows)
Ace Player (PC): http://info.acestream.org/#/install
SodaPlayer (PC & Mac): https://www.sodaplayer.com/
Ace Player Engine (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media&hl=en
SD Browser Stream (use adblock):
Sky Sports 3（576p）
I use acestream on my phone with streams from /r/soccerstreams and use screen-sharing to my TV.
You have a couple of options:
Do you have any family or friends that would let you borrow their cable login and password? They offer streaming through their app or through the cable's app. You can use these apps from a phone, tablet, laptop, computer to cast it to it to a gaming console or simply downloading said apps if you have a smart TV.
Find a decent stream on /r/soccerstreams on the console's browser, and watch it there.
You can find Acestream(usually 720p) links there, that you can watch on your console by downloading their app and casting it to your console.
I recommend finding a decent place to find Acestream links because they change constantly. Use the app linked above and your preferred video player(I prefer VLC) to watch it on the android box.
You can find sketchy apps on the playstore(unknown developer), found this one , these have a list of acestream links of different channels. You also need your preferred video player and the Ace Media Player linked above to watch it on the Android box.
You can download the cable or network apps like mention above(requires login to their cable account) but simply cut out the middleman(casting to console).
Here's a list of channels in case you need em.
BT Sport 1
Sky Sports Action
BT Sport 2
BT Sport 3
Ace Stream link，check in this site：
There are 6 channels showing this game，~~but do not work for me.~~ One of these channel's link：
This one working for me:
Yes they do. Ace Stream Media
You mean like the Acestream app on Google Play?
You can try finding acestream:// links on Reddit and play them via the Ace Stream Media app.
It's a bit complicated as it requires jumping through a bunch of hoops with installing apps and some copy/pasting, and AceStreams only work on Android as far as I know.
It'll be required that you install the AceStream Engine app as well as VLC Media Player.
Once you install both, copy the AceStream ID in my comment above and open the AceStream Engine app and tap the menu icon (Three vertical dots) on the top right. From there, select "Enter Content ID" and paste it into the prompted box and press OK; the stream will automatically open up on VLC.
Or, you can try one of these links, but I don't know for sure if they work.
I use Acestream combined with MX Player :D
Nah just install itand paste the link
Sky Sports Arena 1080p
you got iphone or android?
android download this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media
and use any acestream link from soccerstreams
Ace Stream Media (Beta)
I've used this and it works, haven't tested it a lot though.
If you're on android, you can use this
It even works on Android 7, are you using this?
Acestream for Android
It is an engine/protocol handler, so it doesn't actually play anything itself, but instead directs the streams to external players (VLC, MXPlayer, even at least my phone's built-in player seems to work).
Ignore the Google login and the subscription nags/ads, neither are required
3-dot menu > Enter Content ID and select media player (or Chromecast device, which finally seems to work)
http:// links like this one (http://content.asplaylist.net/9299.acelive) can't be opened directly, you need to have the address as a link in some other app (e.g. Reddit client) and then from that app open it externally and choose Ace Stream Engine. Or install Firefox and paste the link to the address bar, it can open it as a protocol instead of attempting to download it.
if you're into sports, aceplayer and vlc (mx player works fine, but I think vlc is better)
then visit /r/soccerstreams /r/nflstreams /r/whateversportstreams for links.
also, relay for reddit is good for some, but its all about preference. try out other ones too. i prefer Reddit is fun
lastly, search on /r/android "show me your home screens" or "what layout are you using". basically look at other peoples setups so you can get an idea of the level of customization you can do. nothing pisses me off more than seeing an android with basic iphone layout of 4x4 for apps
one more thing: if you play pokemon go. fly gps
let's you move around, just don't teleport all over the world or you'll get banned from the game
damn, almost forgot. this is for all android users, it'll make your phone feel faster. enable developer options (search a video, it takes 10 seconds, and you have to do this to use the Pokémon thing I said above).
go into animation scale, change that from 1.0 to .5 or off.
ProSport (linked to /r/soccerstreams)
Most of the links are for Acestream. So install Plexus and this Android Addon. (No need to make an account. Just opening the app and letting it run in the background makes it work).
You need Ace Stream program.
On PC: http://www.acestream.org/
On Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media&hl=en
If you want to watch live, Ace Stream Media and acestream:// links from r/soccerstreams
For Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media
Also, I have a total of 9 apps on my phone that target a maximum of Lollipop. The rest target at least Marshmallow while the majority target Nougat or Oreo. And of course, well, Doze was first introduced with Marshmallow.
Those 9 apps are:
Ace Stream Media
AZ Screen Recorder
Dell Document Hub
Find My Phone (Android Wear)
No Crop & Square for Instagram
since when? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media&hl=en
It's on android.
This is the Android app. I'm not aware if an app exists for iOS.
You can already do it on android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media
edit: theres also localcast for everything else
There is an Android app:
Ignore any logins or subscription offers in the app, none needed.
You can try Mobdro
Torrent stream controller
You would need to install Acestream engine
and a video player-Mx player works well.
If you're on android, download Ace Player
Ace Stream Media (Beta) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media&hl=en_GB
You need the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.acestream.media
if you're still having trouble
Thanks to /u/acDCuk for the original walkthrough. I've experimented with it to weed out some potential conflicts.
If you have ES File Explorer File Manager installed on your android device you might need to uninstall it for this to work since it's built in player opens the streams by default. The ES Player can't play these video streams. If you have VLC installed on your phone already then you don't need to install MX Player from the Play Store. VLC will Work.
End Result: (http://imgur.com/Njj1L6a)
Yes, it's in beta
