That would require Bandai to change their approach and if they did that before they wouldn't have failed in the Western market. This topic touches on why

Exercise your reading muscles. Worst case scenario is you find yourself watching an episode twice cause you didnt want to pause mid episode to read a rapid fire conversation.
They are, and they're even in print! The whole trilogy is on Amazon, in one volume. Link. I could have sworn there was also a kindle edition, but I don't see it on that listing.
>Amazon only shows PS4, and zero signs of it on Steam.
Amazon shows no such thing. There's the preorder for PC.
I know, I know, it's the green version that should really have the Full Armor stuff, but I didn't have enough red or enough pieces for a Full Armor build.
Super excited for Ep.7!
EDIT: As an added thing for /r/Gundam, here's my SD Gundam as well!
>First, I wanna ask about SU-Cordism.
SU-Cord stands for "Space Umbilical Cord" which is the worship of the Space Elevator at the Capital. The Capital is given photon batteries which are transported down to Earth via the elevator and distributed around the world. Photon batteries are THE main source of energy on Earth. If anything happens to the elevator, then the Earth could be starved of energy. The elevator is their literal life line.
>Second, it's about Steer aka the Megafauna's wheel lady.
I'm gonna guess its just a quirky thing to have fun. According to ANN, her VA is Michelle Yumiko Payne, who does know English.
>Third, can someone tell me the nations on Earth in the RC?
Country at war with Gondwan, attacked the Capital in order to get more batteries to improve with military.
(Sub groups include Klim Nick's Fleet and the Megafauna crew)
Country at war with Ameria, I think they originally owned the Garanden battleship that the Capital Army now uses.
Another country, hasn't done much
Country that controls the space elevator.
(Groups include Capital Guard and Capital Army)
If you think UC designs look cool, I would hop in and start watching Gundam Unicorn. It's not a series, per say, but seven OVAs (Original Video Animation) and other than Build Fighters and the currently airing Reconguista in G, it's the latest Gundam series out there.
If you're looking for a bit of a backstory on the Universal Century, I would recommend watching the Mobile Suit Gundam Movie Trilogy as it explains the whole series better. Tomino himself said that the movies are more of what he imagined the story to be. It includes some footage from the series, but the third movie in particular has about 70% new footage. I would recommend that over watching the series any day.
Tell me about how after eight years it's still spoilers.

> I hardly doubt the sellers will warn people about the quality product they want to buy.
Public reviews are a thing for a reason. Specifically, Amazon reviews can have heavy impacts.
They're both sitting around 1.5 stars at the time of writing. That's a pretty heavy detriment to your game.
>Can anyone recommend a good media player application?
When my PC broke down and I had to use my tablet as a substitute, MX Player was the one I used.
>And yes, I realize 00 is rife with reprehensible protagonists
How so? Setsuna F. Seiei just wanted to be the savior known as Gundam.
>whose mecha are way too overpowered.
They wouldn't have been able to accomplish what they set out to do without the power of the Gundams being what they were.
The process for turning people into Coordinators (ie, "fiddling with the genes of an unborn child") is illegal in CE as well, at least in the Earth Alliance member states. I don't recall if it's mentioned in the series itself, but it's in the official timeline (look at CE 16):
Just as additional info Reconguista will indeed feature a space elevator heavily and tomino wanted to make a series that would appeal to younger fans, he mentioned specifically the kids of gundam fans who are older now. I'm on mobile will edit source in later.
edit: source
This is great. Also, I personally like to pretend that CC is only the future of UC (it makes for a somewhat less crazy premise), so I like how you've done it here.
edit: Suggestions:
Perhaps replace your thumbnail for AGE with the one here. It portrays the series better, in my opinion.
Also, if I remember correctly, 0080 actually takes place in the last weeks of 0079 and ends on New Years 0080.
Never Forget Rusty Mackenzie, he lasted around 5 minutes in the animated Gundam Universe.
Also, as i was typing this and listening to Twin Peaks, a guy named Rusty was found dead in the show. This is kind of weird...
There used to be a Gundam RTS game based on the years during the One Year War and a bit after I think. It's literally called Gundam RTS. It is run on the Spring engine; free source. If you can get it to work, it's completely free if you can find the latest version.
The Dev that was working on it suddenly closed up shop for some reason saying something along the lines of, "I will return." but that was pretty much at least a year ago. Who knows now? I heard that the game played very well. It's similar to Zero-K in concept and gameplay. All of it is completely free.
I'm assuming you met the whole episodes and not just the trailers.
you can watch on bandai's site Daisuki and get subbed/dubbed.
or Google play store and pick the subbed/dubbed versions
or watch on a PlayStation on the PSN but your only option is subbed
I'm getting the same error: "The uploader has not made this video available in your country."
In the video description below it, though, it does say "If the video is not available in your area, Please go to the below link! http://www.daisuki.net/gundamseries/"
What I think may be going on is that Daisuki may have the rights for streaming it for a certain amount of time in the US. For instance, they may be allowed to stream it exclusively on their site for a week or two and then it'll show up on YouTube. So it may be available eventually. That's my best guess.
I believe this is how the discord group does it.
I like the idea of episode discussions. It adds more to understanding what the hell is going on, which is probably necessary with the goofiness that is the first 17 episodes of Double Zeta. Whatever you decide to do though? I’m on board.
I can not condone buying godhands at their current price. They are not a 100$ pair of nippers. 50$ yes but not 100$ they are being scalped right now due to a supply shortage. There's some good ones on amazon for less https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M5AOPN6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_Rob2FbJH61FBM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

As for bigger kits master grade is a good scale. PG might be too big not knowing what kinda space you have
Almost anything labeled "Ver Ka" is a good MG to get someone, specially the new Wing Zero EW ver ka while not a HUGE kit it's deffently a intricate fun build
Well, Amazon or Ebay for starters. Looks like it's a figurart, which are readily available.

2004 edition.
Amazon also has the 2012 edition, and it's about 7-8 dollars cheaper IIRC.
Currently on Hulu you can watch Gundam 00, Wing, 08th MS Team, Iron Blooded Orphans, SEED Remastered, and The Origin.
Out of all of them I would say 00 and IBO are easily the best that require little to no prior knowledge.
The Origin is for all intents and purposes a prequel to the original series (Mobile Suit Gundam) from the 1979 and while it can be watched stand alone you will get a bit more out of it if you have seen at least the original Mobile Suit Gundam.
08th MS Team is the same setting as The Origin and quite a few other series. And can be viewed as a stand alone experience also. But you may be confused as it is only 12 episodes and offers little to no explanation as to actual settings background which you may want to know. (The reasons for a war happening and stuff like that)
I recently watched Wing for the first time a few months ago, and it is still enjoyable but for totally different reasons than when it first came out. Basically the show is really silly and somewhat (ok very) non-sensical now. (But there is an undeniable charm to it)
If you don't mind buying a few movies then I would highly recommend the trilogy of compilation films that you can buy on Amazon of the classic series. The animation is very old, but if you can get past that they are probably the best way to get into the main franchise if that would be something you would be interested in.
They're little sets called Zakumania, I accidentally found them. But you can buy them on Amazon! I know of 3 sets. This one is the 3rd, the federation one. Here's a link to the first set tho. Zaku mania No.1 / Threat of Zeon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001NVVKTK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ki1SzbBHQ1864

"The Prince" was not about just playing people for suckers. That is more "The Art of War".
"The Prince" was about how to gain and then retain a nation. It advocated a just and kind prince, who could project enough power to keep his nation when needed.
This latest installment runs on Unreal Engine 4 if that provides any insight.
If you don't have consumer protection for digital games (like in the US) I would say buy it directly from Steam if you're not sure if you can run it. Games purchased through Steam can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if the playtime is less than 2 hours for any reason. (note Steam may decline refunds if a customer does too many of them in a short period)
https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/
The PC version uses Steam to distribute the game so it doesn't really matter where you buy the game from if you're getting it for PC since it all has to go through Steam.
I suggest picking up the Origin Manga and/or the Novel then. Both are excellent and allow you to not be distracted by those things.
The Origin Manga is a closet is “Canon” in that it generally follows the plot of the show, but adds a lot more flavor and context. Only problem is, they’re only in Hard Cover in the US and there’s 12 of them. That said they are actually worth the money as collectors sets.
https://www.amazon.com/Mobile-Suit-Gundam-The-Origin-12-book-series/dp/B09FHR6H35
The novelization was written by Tomino himself, and does include some significant plot adjustments. The changed make for tighter and more character focused narrative.

Well, I think it was around that mission that I started using gundamtotoro's guide. If you don't want to resort to that, then I guess all I can really say is that if you haven't already been doing so, I found halting all of the teams and controlling each myself gave me better results.

List is very comprehensive includes even Crossbone. I voted for Wing since I want a stateside Glory of the Losers.
What was that about Origin not performing well?
I play it on my ps2, so I'm not sure, but having used it before, there are some games that don't work well, as with any emulator. There are various points the game just stops working. The website for it only has 12 games, so it is very incomplete. If there is a way to contact them, have them add it to the list.

See, pretty incomplete, so its hard to tell.
The wiki also has its own page, but it is also no help.

Depends on what you want to do, Zbrush has a free 45 day trial if you want to demo what this itself is like. For 3D in general, I recommend Blender to anyone who wants to get their toes in the water. It's free and has a great community with a lot of resources and tutorials.

Luckily Saji's name is spelled with kanji: 沙慈. Or, well, it would have been lucky, if jisho.org had an entry for 沙慈. This is the closest I can get. His kanji mean sand-mercy, or one hundred-millionth-mercy. Making up sci-fi names in English is weird enough, I can't imagine playing around with new combinations of kanji. Here are definitions of saji other than "spoon." Maybe they were going for "something small or petty; trifle."
I remember Saji saying that Setsuna's name sounded weird when they first met.
Dictionary entries for Setsuna (moment; instant; juncture) and Seiei (elite; picked; powerful; efficient; portrait; your health and prosperity).
So... Moment F Elite, maybe? That does evoke Sestuna...
It looks like Setsuna and Seiei aren't normal Japanese names, so I guess that's why Saji thinks it sounds weird, and not just because there's an F in the middle, or because Setsuna's a non-Japanese with a Japanese-sounding name, both of which I considered possibilities. Not that this is answering your question directly.
I've got one or two. I haven't updated it in a while though, but it's still a decent amount.
Gunpla box art also works really well, at least for 16:9. Most HGs, RGs, and some of the larger MGs like the HD Unicorn will fit pretty well.
The trick is that technically I didn't.
This applies to the back of the windshield and I slipped the sticker into the pocket, which is just big enough (the permit is 3 X 3, the pocket is 4 x 3). No need to worry about weather ruining the sticker (and indeed I used the car for a four hour round trip to visit family this weekend in the middle of heavy rain) and I can swap out the AE permit for a real one at any time if need be. If you go this route, however - make sure you apply the holder with the pocket facing up instead of down like I initially did!
A long, long time ago Mark Simmons' Gundam Project and Gundam: The Official Guide were my only glimpses into anything outside of Wing. It wouldn't be a huge stretch to say that he played a pretty important role in shaping who I am today, so I think it's pretty cool to see that even after some 20 odd years he's still involved with Gundam in some form or another.

I have the same reply as the last post like this- PG GP01Fb it’s a great suit that isn’t wildly expensive that odds are he doesn’t have. PG, even older ones, are the top of the line for kits and he’ll be ecstatic.
The GP01 perfect grade is a great design with one of the highest quality ratings available while still being reasonable in the budget. If he’s big into the model kits (and doesn’t have this one) it’s the kind that will show him you did some research and put some thought into it. Unless he is a big fan of them I would stay away from anything “gundam rx78-2” or “zaku ii”. They’re both staples of the franchise but he likely has one if not both and they’re fairly surface level suits.
For those who want to actually you know, support the IP and the artists that made it: It's downloadable on Amazon Japan
Sort of. you can find The original series on blu-ray and DVD at amazon for 40 dollars each half has about 20 episodes and it comes in two parts. To be entirely honest the reason a lot of people Pirate Gundam and anime in general is monetary reasons seeing as to how they can be anywhere from slightly of priced to inflated through the roof.
My recommendation is to not be overwhelmed and just buy a little bit here or there. Or start saving up and buy multiple series in bulk. Amazon.com has a bunch of the shows for about 80 dollars for a more or less an entire 50 episode series. But it's broken up into halves or 25 episodes each for 40 dollars. I'm going to put some of these spoilers in case others don't want to find out, but basically the main things are:
I haven't read the 08th MS Team novel (not sure if you can find that in English anywhere) so just going off what I have read about that, there is a part where >!Kiki is raped !<by Federation soldiers and >! bites her tongue off to commit suicide!<. I don't know if other major differences happen, but I'm glad this isn't in the OVA, because that's almost a bit too much for me.
I read the novelization of 0079 a while ago, and like I mentioned to someone else, they start off as cadets in the Federation forces already when they get to the Gundam and Amuro becomes the pilot, and more importantly >!Amuro gets killed by a random Zeon pilot in the final battle!<. Not canon given that later shows and novels wouldn't have been possible and contradict this,

They've been playable for a while now; DWG1 made playable in 2018, the other two in 2020.
It also lists Gundam Unicorn as playable, but for the life of me I can't get my copy to work with the PS3 disc dumping software because the game's metadata is encoded in Japanese while the ripping software only searches English titles (and I can't find the .ird file to verify my rip anywhere online).
The IBO Collector’s Editions I’m talking about are these:
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans – Season 1 [Blu-ray] https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B074R646GH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_BHZGWVCGS1QTHKPPGYH7
Which included premium packaging, an art book, extras, and their very own exclusive Gunpla for Both S1 and S2. Honestly, I think they’re cooler than some of the other “Ultra” editions like 00 and G-Gundam. They’ve also held their value the most (though I think they’re the oldest except maybe Wing).
Unicorn also had a like $600 edition that was available for pre-order on RightStuf that was considered an “International” release because it included English subs. It also included it’s own Gunpla, but was technically a “Japan-only” release. I couldn’t justify the price though.
Otherwise, I think your assessments are pretty spot on, which is why I ended up getting some of the older stuff when they were on sale over the holidays. I can’t imagine the OVAs ever get any really big editions and they’ve already launched virtually everything else with consistent branding. I’m curious if the “next big series” will land high enough to do an Ultra right from the rip.

By far the best Gundam game I've played, you're in for a treat. This is a translation guide for all of the parts. I'd have this thing up at all times while customizing your suits, because while most of it is rather intuitive, there are some specialized parts that could throw you for a loop.
The only Gundam Games for the 360 are the dynasty warrior games, which aren't that bad but kind of repetitive, and this game. http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/929284-mobile-ops-the-one-year-war But that never came out for the US and I think only works for Japanese Xbox. If you really want to play gundam games you should get a PS3, there are many great games out for that and you can even make a japanese PSN and try a free gundam game called Gundam Battle Operations.
just found THIS > Crossbone Gundam X1, X2, and X3: In extra mode, beat mission 1 of expert difficulty at least three times for all three Gundams.

Oh, sorry. His name is Toshio Okada-sensei.
The anime network said he ripped into Tomino-sensei with such fervor regarding G-Reconguista.
Beats me why Okada-sensei would do that. Maybe he was jealous?? I'm liking the show. :)
Cheers!

Oh, well it would all be done through their site basically I'd wire the money from my account to your own, same as if we did it with Paypal it would just be using Bitcoins.
Maybe this will help I don't know.
The actual "remilitarization" of Japan isn't really something that is occurring, though. The Japanese Self Defense Forces are in the process of replacing older weapons with newer ones, but there isn't some widespread build-up of any sorts. In fact, they are in the process of reducing their tank force by half - not exactly something you would expect from militarists - and the weapons procurement budget has remained at about the same level at has been for the past two decades. The remilitarization of Japan that people love to lament is really just a reorganization of Japanese forces, provoked by the rising power of Japan's neighbor China. It is a stunningly modest rearmament by "remilitarization" standards. The press loves to inflate these modest actions way out of proportion - I've read articles that make the Hyūga and Izumo class helicopter destroyers out to be the reincarnation of Japan's famous carrier fleet, despite the fact that Japan does not actually possess any fighters capable of operating off of the short decks of these ships nor does the government have any plans to procure any such fighters. Don't get me wrong, there are probably people in Japan who want to see the return of the Kidō Butai, but those people have no real say in arms prorucrement at all.
