got it from here
its funny bc ive been looking to buy sj physically sealed but i saw smt was cheaper so i went for that instead, i guess i lucked out lmao
Hey that's the book I'm reading right now !
~~Someone else mentioned this idea somewhere, I forgot but~~ it's somewhere along the lines of
> Someone who committed a hit-and-run in a rural town and ran away. His S. Link will be about him dealing with his guilt over the incident.
[spoiler](/s "If you know what I mean.")
EDIT: I found where it's from, it was from GameFAQs.
I was looking through some of the site, every article is a fucking mess. Shit like 60 Games Like House Of The Dead Overkill being all mostly serious first person shooters, rather than the b-movie light gun shooter the HotD games are.
More relevant to megaten though, the Fire Emblem list has 20 games and doesn't mention SMT, while the Advance War one that this thread is based on only has 12 games, but SMT is among them. Apparently SMT is more like Advance Wars than Fire Emblem. I fucking love this site.
You got a bad ending then, reload the save and make these choices, everything after will make sense. Oh and for the true ending DO NOT LEAVE
Very nice. How big is yours? ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
Download GIMP - despite being free, it's incredibly powerful & thorough and it's easily one of the best alternatives to PS.

Well boys, this is it. The last Tuesday before Sweets Ring launches on May 5th. It will be up at AROUND midnight, give or take a half hour for me to figure out the publishing.
https://itch.io/profile/young-stove here is where it will be publishing!
I'd just like to take this time to say thanks to each and every one of you who have been showing your love over these past 17 weeks. It really means a lot to me that I have people like you who I can share my passion with. Your support has really helped push me forward to make something better than it would have been if I was just doing it for school.
I'd also like to give a shout-out to /u/silent_antagonist. His support during this entire process can not be understated. Sweets Ring would not be in the place it is today without his constant support and feedback. And without his unending encouragement, it would not even be here.
Overall, I know I'm not releasing a DDLC. I'm not releasing a Katawa Shoujou or a Muv Luv (Though I have been told its better than Subahi). However, I am proud to stand beside this, and I'm extremely happy to have finished what I've started. It's just a first step, but it's MY first step. And I can not wait for you all to play it, and I already can't wait to start my next project.
Next week I'll probably say a little something about Sweets Ring, but I'm going to mainly shift back into the fuuka persona and talk about life. For those of you who put up with these weekly shill posts, thank you!
But who knows maybe next week I'll check in saying I'm a billionaire Playboy off my renpy game.
Fairly popular online website that reviews movies, music, books, video games, etc. It's affiliated with The Onion, though it's not satirical and has sort of assumed its own life apart from The Onion.
Like Slant Magazine, it appeals to a hip, college-educated crowd:
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/avclub.com
For the most part, this is the kind of audience that I think would enjoy the Persona games even if they weren't weaned on JRPGs. They'd appreciate the offbeat humor, the sexual themes, the nods to Jung, philosophy, and mythology, etc.
Hopefully not, because that's dumb as shit. I suppose we've had conflicting reports, so this may just be Eisenbeis misunderstanding.
Here is a link to that SMT list that has SMT4 on it for anyone who wants it.
This must be auto generated, right? A bunch of tags for games and then they just make a list, pick some tags that mark what that game is like, and then some web page pops out that compares shit like GTA to SMT4, and SMT4 to SMT4? That makes much more sense, and the SMT4 on both the advance war and SMT lists use the same picture and description.
Did you see PV#2? It came with the special edition of Dancing All Night, but was never officially released to the public.
Here's a link.
https://mega.nz/#!uYZngaya!PoxtzRVpVy2P3lAygDYh4iEEg12P-RTPmnZUzICSQ94
Its just the regular listing sold directly from Amazon (seems listing is no longer available). I guess I got super lucky and they had a copy laying around.
I would keep an eye out, if you really want any of the SMT games
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/1432877635 also, new episode of Stalker Club, with a good amount of gameplay. They show off Margaret as well as a good amount of new remixes.
and the Your Affection remix mirror: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vfos_fXAgY
Still no Featherman costumes though
>so not too sure why there are a lot to choose from.
Mostly cuz there's a lot of Social links. One per arcana. Also, because instead of arcanas, there's demon races in other MegaTen games, so they need to have a similar variety. And, of course, because that's how many arcanas exist in real tarot.
You have to find and talk to Chie/Yosuke after school. Chie is on the roof, Yosuke is in Junes. They're only there on certain days of the week.
Oh, here's a P4G chart:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/vita/641695-persona-4-golden/faqs/64587
Misread it originally and my first title was misleading, so resubmitted with a better one.
and I just noticed I messed up this title as well. Should be "Launch" obviously.
Starting at 18:00 JST, 10:00AM BST, converter which should show it in every other timezone
Featuring a countdown featuring Teddie. Because who doesn't like Japanese Teddie? The countdown will just be running through the existing charecter and remix trailers.
There will apparently also be some "special information" there.
And since this is Dancing All Night themed, don't expect anything major related to Persona 5.
Persona 3 Portable's gameplay is pretty much superior in every way to FES, allowing for direct control of party members and adding the ability to block, but this comes at the cost of no animated cutscenes, no 3D models of any kind outside of combat, and lower audio quality. The female route was a great addition, and is the reason to buy P3P, offering a brand new soundtrack and new social links. The new links are the best part of the package, since you finally get a link for every member of SEES, not just the ones of the opposite sex.
and if you're looking for a guide, penguin_knight is pretty much the go to guy for Persona guides
I use virtual router manager. It lets you use your laptop as a router that your 3DS can connect to. It is kinda dodgy sometimes, and you can't play games online, but you can connect to the internet and store and download shit. I just downloaded the theme now.
Download and install it, and then set up a name for the router (other people can see it, feel free to mess with people using it), a password, and set the share connections to wifi. Then just start the router and connect to it as though it is a regular router with your 3DS.
Well there are a few useful tips that i can give you.
Don't be lazy! Farm for the lines, sure it takes a while but it's worth not doing another run of the game for it.
Scan lines do not count!(when you go into Analysis and she says this guy is weak to this!)
Keep track of all the lines you get, sure it's a tidious task but it's worth it. trust me.
Use this guide <<clicky it has a lot of useful stuff it also has a good chunk of lines that you can use for marking.
dont over level the lovers social link you want to get all the pre-emptive strike/ambush/ starting of battle lines before you get to rank 2 this is quite importent because you'll lose a good 40 lines (out of 350-400) and they're easy to get compare to status eliments and amount of enemy down.
Hope any of these helps you out :P
Just go to the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/general-questions.html?skip=true
Click on "an order I placed", choose your order that contained P4 ultimax, select "returns and refunds" as your issue, choose your method of contact and explain to them that the price of ultimax went down to $25 within a week of your order and that you would like a refund for the difference. They will refund you the difference without any hassle as long as the price drop is within a week of your purchase :)
They mention being at TGS in the latest Stalker Club, screencap video, time is at about 56 minutes. I'm not sure how exactly they'll be presenting stuff but they will have some sort of presence.
I suppose games might not be listed if they won't be playable? I'd be surprised if that list was 100% complete since that doesn't allow for any announcements between now and the show floor opening.
2 save files inside, perfect save (all stats max, mantra max, lv max, including Heat reqs for DDS2, rings, etc) before Demi-Fiend fight and after Demi-Fiend.

They're like "classes" of Personas. The most important thing is that this affects fusing. Arcana A + Arcana B = Arcana C. There's all kinds of combinations, there's charts you can looks up. Here's P4's (Golden's is different, FYI): http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/945498-shin-megami-tensei-persona-4/faqs/55266
So as an example based on that chart, if you fuse a Fool Persona with a Magician Persona, you'll get a Temperance Persona. The level is based on the levels of the Personas fused - every arcana has a "list" of Personas and base levels for them. I believe the game does a calculation, something like (Persona 1's level + Persona 2's level)/2 + 1, then takes the Persona closest to that level (rounding down).
If it seems complicated, that's because it is! Demon Fusion is the most complex part of the MegaTen series. Luckily, as a beginner you don't need to worry too much about it. Just focus on getting the highest level Personas you can and trying to have one of every elemental skill and you'll be fine. You can worry about the intricacies of fusion a bit later on.
Also, every Social Link you have corresponds to an Arcana, and when you fuse a Persona of that Arcana, you get bonus levels based on how high you've raised the Social Link.
Other than the fusion, they don't really affect anything. Some arcana tend to have certain types of skills and such, but the fusion effects are the most important. So if you don't care to get every single Persona or do complex fusions, if you only want to have appropriately-leveled Personas with good skills, the Arcanas aren't especially important. The biggest thing you'll need to be concerned about is the bonus EXP you get from the Social Links.
> Bonus points for trippy and weird shit.
LISA: The Painful has this in spades. It's also a fun Earthbound-esque RPG with an awesome soundtrack. Check out the trailer on the Steam page.
I could have sworn I read something about the killer being changed too,it's possible it could have just been a entirely new character that was scrapped.
On the other hand, how sweet would it be if Nanako was the killer? Just read a Gamefaqs thread on that topic.
I cant believe one of my chrome bookmarks could be of use for once but there is a lot of free time in January to max s. links unless you are already there
We all know the pain you're dealing with. I recommend [reading this.](https://www.wikihow.com/Deal-With-Having-PTSD-(Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder\)) If you need anyone to talk to you know where to find me.
If I remember correctly it has some typos and errors though. Specifically I remember the puzzle boy walkthrough being wrong. The guides on gamefaqs are good though. Alex's guide has been used quite a bit.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/582958-shin-megami-tensei-nocturne/faqs
Spinoff: Definitely Persona 4, the music is fantastic, the characters are great.
Persona 4 Golden is amazing.
Regular: Nocturne. It's nice, challenging. It also gives me that Killer 7 vibe... Remember that game, guys?
You should only play the original if you're curious, it's super dated. Kyuuyaku is pretty good though, just download Retroarch and the game here if you don't wanna go through the patching hassle.
For anyone wondering here's the link to the web page
>Then why does the case for DDS 1 have the shin megami tensei moniker on it.
It does not have the Shin Megami Tensei moniker on it.
The game is called 「デジタル・デビル・サーガ アバタール・チューナー」 which translates to Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner.
When Atlus brought the game to America, they falsely slapped the SMT logo onto the game because they believed that it would be the only way for the game to sell.
It's no different from Persona and the Devil Summoner games. None of them are SMT but Atlus feared the games wouldn't sell in the west so they falsely put the SMT name on it simply because SMT was a more recognizable brand than "Devil Summoner", "Digital Devil Saga" and "Persona". Atlus quickly dropped the SMT label from Persona when it got popular enough that they didn't need to lie about it being an SMT game for it get sales.
Notice how SMT is not written anywhere on the Japanese version?
Okay, here we go: Do not use stat points on MAG or INT since the MC cannot use magic, focus 100% on strength with him, balance it out with the Chaos Hero. Do not focus too much on magic with Law Hero either. Focus 100% magic on Heroine because she has the best healing spells in the game. Finally, use a guide. This game gives you no sense of direction, so most of the time you'll get lost, so the best course of action is just following a guide through the game. I can recommend this one
I did a little googling... apparently P4 has this as a common error. I'm very sorry. There doesn't seem to be a fix besides going to a different place to save, basically. (exit, do something else, come back, save.) and it's not a guarentee. I recommend you grab a USB stick and make your virtual PS2 memory card there, or use it as a backup for each one after youre done. I don't know why P4 does this, but it does. I lost one, too, but I haven't had it happen since way early game. I basically kept my ps3 on until I was about 4 hours into the game, then saved, then backed it up. My goodness, what a pain!
ninja edit: link
Well, the livestream's technically always going, but I'm guessing you mean when the next "???" on the schedule is. It's at 12:30 PM JST, about 3.5 hours from when this post was made.
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20150205T1230&p1=248
This gamefaqs thread has the numbers, though I don't know how accurate they are
This is a more general guide to the neutral ending
If you haven't done any sidequests, it would be helpful to do them to actually get MORE chaotic. The game keeps a count obviously, +9 or more is law, -9 or more is chaotic. Meaning if you're between 8 and -8, you're good.
If you can make more chaotic choices, do so, but consult these guides, I had mixed and matched a lot, but managed to get neutral.
WaCoMo posting useful stuff? Did the person behind the screen mistake accounts? :D
What's great is that the show uses some tracks from the game. Like in this episode on Nicovideo, you hear the fortune teller music at 11:58, and the BGM of the dungeon around professor Asahi later on.
Last time I checked (last year) all episodes were on Nicovideo.
This anime season seems pretty meh, but HYPE for God Eater. Amazing game and it's being animated by Ufotable too.
Also, since I've asked for too much of the previous already, rate and recommend me some digital soap operas please. (Edit: I forgot the freaking scores.)
The best I can do is show you this link I found which pretty much discusses this same problem you're having: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/641697-persona-4-arena/68097263
Step 1, find your PS3's region. Step 2, find the Persona 4 Arena version you need (both of these are explained by the dude named K0m8y). If this is too much of a pain, my only other suggestion is to return your copy and buy it at the PSN I guess....
And here's one for all the tests and in-class questions.
Not counting combat and persona stuff, that's only 3 tabs to have open.
http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Persona_3_Skills
Based on the chart of the SMT wikia, all -dynes and ma-dynes have a base power of 320.
and according to the damage calculation formula here, it seems there is a random number generator factor plus a factor that involves difference in levels. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/945498-shin-megami-tensei-persona-4/48852804
OP, you said that both Messiah and Orpheus have 99 magic, but are their levels the same too?
Edit: The formula says "character level", which probably have nothing to do with Personas, but then again the level of the MC only determines the HP/SP and fusion levels, so I think it's safe to assume that MC's Persona levels are involved.
Just a heads up - the image hosting site you're using (funkyimg) gets blocked by Reddit's spam filter and causes your comments to be automatically removed if they have a link to it.
I've approved your comment here but we don't get notifications for posts that get caught by Reddit's filter, so I'd really recommend switching to a different host like imgur - or if you want to upload uncompressed images - cubeupload.
mfw Toxic is an anime pleb
Anyways, how does Revival compare to an album like Speedin Bullet to Heaven or Angelic 2 the Core? I've been lucky enough to not hear a single track so far, but if it's really that bad, then I have to give it a listen, as I've always been a glutton for punishment
According to this list, DDS1 is compatible, but I don't see anything related to DDS2, but I don't think you should have problems with it.
And assuming you save in the same virtual memory card for both games you should be able to transfer data.
"14:30 to 15:30 ! once published "Atlas New information stage" such as the latest information "Labyrinth 2 of the New World Tree""
It doesn't specify Persona at all, however since stalker club mentioned TGS too, I'd expect something. "Such as Etrian" makes me think that they'll have something else as well, although that could just be down to Google Translate. I think it's going to be mostly Etrian focused though.
A couple weekends ago I did my first gamejam, Game Maker's Toolkit Jam. It was a fun experience, quickly throwing something together like that. The theme was "[genre] without [mechanic]", so like a platformer without jumping or a driving game without steering. I decided on a metroidvania without upgrades and made Critical Functions. The idea is that all of your abilities are unlocked from that start, they're just tied to different key combinations, so you can't just guess them all from the start. Around the level you get these pickups that explain how to use the abilities you already have.
Personally, I didn't think it came out too great. But it ended up being received pretty well. I got 9 ratings for an average score of 4.111 (out of 5), the comments were mostly positive, and it ended up placing 75th based on the user ratings. So it turned out pretty good actually and helped me to feel better about the game. I didn't post about it here last week when the voting was open because I didn't want to mess with the rankings.
I had a lot of fun with it, but I don't know if I'm going to do anymore jams anytime soon. It was fun, but exhausting. And I was only able to do this one because it happened to land on the first weekend after my first week of classes, before we get a lot of work to be doing all the time. But if I get the chance again, I might give it another go. It is a really good opportunity to just experiment on something quickly and get feedback on it.
Thanks!
Nope. Here's its website
Pretty much all of the things in my setup were acquired from its community on Deviantart (of all places).
If you get it and you want specific links to anything I use, just let me know.
For those who don't know what Rainmeter is it basically adds extra functionality to your desktop such as displaying weather, cpu temp, RAM usage, RSS feed, etc.
Check out /r/Rainmeter lot of cool themes and tutorial on setting it up.
That sounds like a good idea. It's always the debate of whether or not it's worth the trouble to buy the actual used product, knowing that it's encouraging resellers rather than the company that produced the product...
If the image needs upscaling, I'll say try passing the image through waifu2x to see the results. It should continue looking great after upscaling since it's optimized for "anime-styled images".
I think the algorithm assumes there are gonna be clear lines and little change in colors, whereas upscale algorithms (e.g. Bi-Cubic, Bi-Linear) are kind of a one-size-fits-all thing that works best in photographs? In any case, it doesn't hurt just to compare.
>Also why does your discord look like that, how do i do that
https://betterdiscord.net/home/ you can change the css on a preexisting theme to be whatever image you want. i use a theme base called dark matter with a few tweaks to make it work properly in the newest version of discord. the css file is here, just drag it in the plugins folder for betterdiscord, and edit the file to use the images you want

I have a copy of it and it’s fantastic!
LE just went up on amazon finally! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097PCQ9F9?psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp
In what region?
Also PSA: If you live in North America and have a PS2 (or PS2-compatible PS3), you can still get new copies of that version on Amazon for $26; I don't know how expensive used PS2s are these days, though, so not sure how viable of an alternative this is if you don't have the console.
I'm pretty sure amazon has Raidou new.
(Yeah Raidou is around $30, and you completely overpaid for DDS https://www.amazon.com/Shin-Megami-Tensei-Digital-Devil-PlayStation/dp/B00008KTRS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473518397&sr=8-1&keywords=Shin+Megami+Tensei+Digital+Devil+Saga)
Man I ordered a new laptop off of Amazon. And I feel so weird about the purchase. I desperately needed it because my current laptop is...uh in a very poor state. But I dunno even though my mom pitched in I still spent like 340 bucks. Knowing this weirds me out...there goes a decent amount of money I saved throughout the summer :/ hopefully it will be worth it when it comes in the mail.
Acacoucha sounds like the name of a Jamaican jazz band or something.
Important: whenever you are in tired or sick status, a trip to the school nurse at school will grant you a FREE [that's right, FREE] courage boost without taking time from your day
Academics:
Congratulations! You've made a fine choice. I've played through P4 (PS2) twice and just finished P4G to the True Ending.
I highly recommend not going through a guide, at least not for your first play through. It will make it much more fun, otherwise you're essentially just following a checklist for some 80+ hours. On my playthrough of P4G I did follow the http://www.gamefaqs.com/vita/641695-persona-4-golden/faqs/64630 guide which was very good and was able to stay pretty well on track with it with some minor deviations and maxed out every S.Link. Again though I would encourage you not rely on it, at least not for your first playthrough.
If you can't invest the time and want to follow a guide, then consider doing a blind playthrough then do NG+ on Easy/Very Easy and follow the guide. You will level up and collect money very fast, and you won't need to worry about upping Courage/Diligence/Knowledge/Expression/Understanding since by the time you beat it on the first playthrough should be maxed out, or near maxed out on those stats. Even without a guide, S.Links are easier in NG+ because you don't have to worry about the S.Links that are gated by having a certain stat at a certain level (like the Tower social link which requires max Understanding to even initiate it).
Some spoiler-free advice is to make sure you concentrate on the Jester (this S.Link is weird because it's capped through normal interactions) and Aeon social links as early as possible as these S.Links are required to get the True Ending.
So they do, interesting.
"The Games at E3 2014 list contains all of the biggest games appearing at E3 2014 in some form"
edit: Or not. They also list Mad Max, which has been said not to be at E3, so I'd take it with a grain of salt.
edit 2: "this list contains both games likely to appear at E3 2014." So they're just guessing, ah well. That list was too good to be true.
Honestly Shoji should be replaced with the great Mamoru Samuragochi. He's such an amazing artist even being called the Japanese Beethoveen
Wow DeSu1's start screen is way cooler than overclocked's, it kinda reminds me of nocturne's with the dark demons with glowy eyes behind the MC thing going on.
Just as a bit of feedback on your response...
I'd definitely say you need to do a Kickstarter when you're running up to final release, or maybe just troll some game creation forums when you've got most of the mechanics and stuff nailed down and see if there's any up-and-coming pixel artists who want to do a profit-share in exchange for work. If you promise someone a percentage on your 95% complete game instead of just "exposure", you're bound to get a few bites, or at least a sharp discount on your up-front costs for the spritework you need.
I'm pretty sure Kodansha licenced the Persona Q manga not too long ago if I recall.
I started reading The Five Star Stories a while ago and so far it's been absolutely fantastic, it's this massive space opera that spans thousands of years with a ton of care and detail put into its world.
It's definitely not for everyone, in fact most people's reaction when looking at the first page is prolly going to be "what the fuck am I getting into" (I know that's what I thought at first) but man I've just been having a blast with it.
Joe Ng is usually swamped at conventions but he came by a small low-key library event and took on a commission for me for really cheap. He actually made comics for Overwatch too which is pretty cool!
Amazon has the entire book at 447 pages, but that takes into account all three novels. Based on Masakado's notes from translating books 1 and 2, I would say Book 3 is probably 150 - 180 total pages. It will probably be much shorter when translated, due to the amount of white space with the font.
Here is an image of the inside from the eBay seller to get an idea: http://tinypic.com/r/11h5us3/8
Yeah... http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/734097-persona-4-the-ultimax-ultra-suplex-hold/67971990 this is info about thwe arcade version of ultimax, which says exactly the same... Don't know anything about its credibility though...
According to this it doesn't, but that's a gamefaqs thread. I'm not 100% on that, so i'd just recommend asking that one guy in the bar. He'll either tell you you're a good guy, an asshole, or hard to read (or something like that) and that guaranteed will indicate your alignment.
Perhaps something like this would make your lives exponentially easier?
Sounds like that could make for a pretty interesting board game, good luck!
You're right. I never look at demon lists and stuff because it's kind of a spoiler for me, but looking at this database on Gamefaqs it seems that Legion is the highest Spirit, period. And that's fucking obnoxious, because as you can also see if you look at the "reverse race fusion charts", way more combinations make spirits than any other race. Wtf were you thinking, Atlus?
Huh... imiwa? failed to even bring up the second kanji, although it managed to give me the furigana. Thank you, by the way!
Jisho.org came through, however it’s only the kanji separately and not as a word.
So, 淫虐の仮面 would be the mask of tyrannical lewdness? I’m having trouble finding it as a word.
I'm following this guide myself at the moment, it's ranking up adachi quite well, I believe you can only go so far before you go confront him with your friends on the true ending route, where it changes from Jester to Lust/Hunger, and defeating him and Amoomoo-Saggypants will then rank up the social link, though as I am not there yet I am unsure.
The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy includes every book in the series for cheap if you're interested in it.
Metro 2033 is a good (if somewhat slow and at times even boring imo) trip through post apocalyptic Moscow's metro.
I'm also quite a fan of the Sherlock Holmes books, particularly The Hound of the Baskervilles, these books are already in the public domain too; so you can just download them and start reading.
Well for Bebop, I signed up for a 14-day free trial of a Funimation premium account and am watching it like that. Just gonna cancel the subscription before the trial is over. Bebop is short, you should be able to watch it in that time
This is a cool site. Click on "completions" to see some details us each submission (like when someone says they did it in 50 hours, but they did chaos ending and rushed, compared to someone who might do 70 hours with neutral and taking their time, etc.)
If you have a decent graphics card (I have a GTX660, for example,) PCSX2 works wonderfully. It takes a while (anywhere from 10-30 mins,) to get everything initially set up, (especially if you don't know what you're doing, and need to dig through the Help files,) but it's definitely worth it. It even works with a wired XB360 controller, if you have one of those laying around. Just plug it into any USB port and map the buttons.
Unfortunately, lower-end computer users shouldn't even bother trying. It won't work. Believe me, I've tried...
Edit: Also, ePSXe for all your PSX needs. That's a little more difficult to set up in some aspects, because it doesn't come with the needed BIOS files, (basically, the files that tell the emulator how to act like a PSX.) This is because it's technically illegal to use someone else's BIOS files - You're supposed to grab them from your own console... That being said, all the BIOS files are readily available from a quick google search...
You're talking about Shin Megami Tensei 1 for iphone, yes? Unfortunately it been taken down from the iPhone store and doesn't work if your iPhone is updated.
The only way to play it is to get the IPA/rom and use a IPhone app emulator to play it.
Here's a link to it and use iPadian to load the game to play it.
Or you could download the android version of it. (Doesn't have a translation but still available) But at that point I would just play the PSX or SEGA CD version since they're better ports.
That's an action dungeon crawler instead of turn based, but it does demonstrate that enemies can actually exist in such an environment. Just have it transition to a battle mode when you meet the enemies in the dungeon.
Play the TI graphing calculator version Just kidding, yeah you can play the regular version for free here. I would play CS+ if you can get it, since it has more features, enhanced graphics, and remastered + new music (you can toggle between graphic styles and old/new/remastered music) but if you can't get it you can't really go wrong with the original game. IIRC WiiWare and eShop versions are similar to Cave Story+ minus certain features and CS+ kind of brings them all together. There's also a 3DS remake of the game on 3DS retail that I believe is hard to find, but I prefer to 2D sprites.
Rendered it out based on my work from this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Megaten/comments/6mr4cs/a_partial_anatomy_of_the_bin_nkdw_files_smtiv/?utm_content=title&utm_medium=hot&utm_source=reddit&utm_name=Megaten
Concatenated C# code for the renderer: https://hastebin.com/acagaqivuw.cs warning, it's pretty ad-hoc and assumes that "battle" and "tex" folders were extracted with ctrtool.
Pixelation is because I didn't bother with any sort of filtering. Properly handled the tail and such should be much nicer.
For not having written anything in a year - go and join this!
Starting is the toughest part of any journey. Especially as time goes on as doubt increases.. I know that very well - I'm constantly putting off making videos and movies as I keep finding things that'll make it not what I want it to be. Bad tech, terrible editing, the works.. So say what - let's do a challenge to get us started. By the first Stray Sheep of August, both of us should have one piece to share. You write a story, about anything, and I'll make a short film. We'll see what we can do in about a month.
Should be fun! ~~Or terribly scary and stressful~~

$20 new on Amazon... Or are you outside the NA region?
I got mine for 30$ on amazon before sony stopped making them. They're 40$ now
Shipping is the problem. Lots of US companies in Amazon don't ship outside the country, or if they do there's a noticeable extra cost.
Nocturne
Amusing fact. The guide to Nocturne (which has an incorrect answer for how to solve a puzzle to boot) costs about three times as much as the game.
Sadly I'm not sure if a PS2 can be found on Amazon to ship, when I checked Amazon Global I couldn't find one, but that could be because I'm checking from inside the US. I suggest you check when you have a moment to see what options it gives an Australian.
You can get a PSTV for ~60 dollars and play it on that.
Yep. I guess it was released alongside the iOS version, but only the iOS got the localization (2 years later).

Did you mean SMT2? SMT1 is out already: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.indexweb.android.megaten1&hl=en
I just tried SMT1 on emulation again and its so much better than the lousy iOS version I have
See, according to this map, there is a clue in that room. See the spot labeled "7" in the upper left corner.

If it's not there, then where is it? I found all 3 pieces of the notebooks that have the codes, and I found all of the text books in the 4 rooms. And every time I try to mess with the door, Akihiko still says "We need to find more clues". I've been all over the place and I still cannot figure out what he's talking about, other than that spot on the map that I can't get back to.
That's completely false.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/spatter
He meant it literally. Spattered with their blood, because they were "filth", and to further signify this, he contests that Flynn has to kill himself because he went to Tokyo and saw their culture before speaking the spatter line. Your apologist drivel is crap.
Betternet vpn, at least for macs. I've had a dormmate download it recently when we needed it for something. And then there was a 100 mb a month limit for free users. I've been using it since 2018 and never got that, so I'm not sure if it has to do with me having an older version or with using it on a mac.
But I think 100 mb is fine for cr. Usually what you need to do is just open cr with a vpn turned on, and then you should be able to turn it off and use normally. Tunnelbear vpn can be used in the same way I think.
There are going to be plenty of chances to get your alignment changed during the blasted/wasted Tokyo storylines that occur when you get to the Yamato Reactor. Remember that certain decisions affect your alignment more than others.
I found this great guide that doesn't really tell you what to do, but does tell you about most decisions and how they affect your alignment. It really doesn't tell you what to do, but it's a great tool. Here ya go.

/u/Eldryth is correct and if you want a certain Persona you need to max out all social links in one Play through This one is for the guy and includes the FES/Portable additions to help you out Though be forewarned it's very strict in time management so if you want just go through your first playthrough normally and try this the 2nd time or so around.
Addendum: Here is the guide for the female MC written by the same user
I would suggest using this guide alongside this chart for a perfect run.
As for which version to play, I am strictly biased towards FES because of The Answer as well as an actual overworld. I also like the concept of not controlling party members (though you can still do that in P3P it's not the same IMO).
Oh no they've done it before, Resident Evil remake is my source for this.
But I guess because DLC was becoming the new trend they decided to drop that format.
Yeah, maybe youtube. I know some games have all cutscenes. I did see this, which is the script of the game (excluding social links), and it has by date. So if you are okay with just reading, you can read up through 7/8: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/932312-shin-megami-tensei-persona-3/faqs/50852
I've been drawing a P3 manga series for a few years, and I recently updated the illustration that appears at the end of each chapter. Check it out if you're interested (Warning: Spoilers for P3) https://tapas.io/series/Persona-3-The-Awakening
