I made the icons transparent so only the text shows and it brings open the folder.

CircleLauncher is a widget that acts like a folder. The fifth screenshot on the play store is an opened folder in vertical style. I don't know if it can be set to horizontal, though. There's also the lite version of the app.

EDIT: Seems like the second screenshot is the horizontal style

Thanks for all the comments everyone! I fixed it up with a better notification area, and have all the image assets plus a few extra persona and SMT related icons i've used before for screen setups.
