For me, the biggest glaring issue with moguri is the lack of animated textures. It affects character upscales and some backgrounds.

Because of that, I'd love to eventually see a port to the PSX (beetle has texture replacement and duckstation may get it in the future). The downside would be no cheats, no widescreen, etc but you'd have a very pretty game without the bugs of the steam release.

A few years back, Prima Games released a box set of the VII, VIII, and IX strategy guides that you can purchase as a bundle on Amazon. They updated IX's guide so that it includes the missing information. That being said, though, I highly recommend just finding guides online, even if it is less convenient than using a book, because this compilation is ridiculously overpriced.

Here is a guide on Game FAQs that I've been using since the early 2000s for Chocobo Hot and Cold. Definitely recommend it. I've used it countless times whenever I replay FFIX every three years or so.

Yes, there was a republished box set a few years ago that bundled the FF 7,8 and 9 guides together, and the guide for 9 was fixed with all the missing information.

I found one called the "gamePad." It's ugly but it works. It has an option to put a persistent notification up that you can open at any time. I can link it if thats not against the sub rules

And I did email the square enix tech support. After a little back and forth they acknowledged it's a big, and said it will be patched, but they don't know when that patch will be and offered a refund. Bc I found the software keyboard, I'm not taking the refund.

Don't know man, 1.5 GB RAM seems not enough to run ffix smoothly. Maybe you should try and clean it up a little bit or Greenify some apps so your RAM is definately free when playing ffix.

You also could root your tablet and flash a new custom-ROM for better performance. I don't know :/ I hope the problem can be solved with Greenify.
