Alright, that makes my job a whole lot easier.
Heres the website: https://en.aptoide.com/download?package_uname=mrpowergamerbr-undertalewrapper
Heres the controller emulator you will need: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard
It does, however, require a fair bit of setup once you have Gamepad installed, so when you have done that, message me, and ill tell you how ive done it.
Are there any apps like GamePad? I want a keyboard program on Android that has a D-pad and buttons so I can play RPG maker games with Windows remote desktop
Honestly this is my first preference, but I could never find one to work well...
I've tried about 5-6 different app that were supposed to do that, but none of them seemed to work very well. I'm no sure as to why.
For instance, Hacker's Keyboard did work as intended (pulled up keyboard, pressed D and the game recognized it) but the keyboard is so bad I couldn't bring myself to using it. But GamePad which allows you to remap buttons to keyboard keys I couldn't get to work, remapped to D but never did anything after pressing.
Oh.
Here you go. It's a gamepad that can also function as a keyboard.
Edit: and yes. It's awkward as hell to use. If you can come up with a better option you'd be my favorite person.
I think I used this a while ago, not sure if it works with Xcloud tho. There's another app that popped up in the related tab, Mantis gamepad or something, might want to give that a try as well if this doesn't work (haven't used it personally but it's better rated than what I suggested).
I don't know which is recommended but there are apps that create controller overlays you can use as inputs with games. I think you'd want to use one of those on the bottom screen and launch the game on the top screen
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard may be along the lines of what you want. The negative reviews seem to stem from people with single screen phones and relate to how it displays with games on a single screen - I'm not affiliated in any way with this app and don't have an LG wing so can't vouch for how well this'll work out but it should be at least a good first step in the direction you're thinking
I used GamePad and GameKeyboard+ for that purpose. The second one is more advanced and paid, but it might not work for you at all, depending on the game and android version.

I'm not familiar with those games however you could try out this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard
Setup it up as per instructions (on your phone)
Press the keyboard icon in Dex (bottom right corner) and it will open the game pad on your phone
Launch game in Dex, you should be able to use your phone as a controller for your game in Dex
There is a 'gamepad' keyboard, it's just an Android keyboard that's shaped like a gamepad.
Don't know if this will help but here it is:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard
Try with this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard Set it as default keyboard and there's a setting to show from notification bar. When you're stuck just pull it out and you'll have a pad ok your screen
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard&hl=en_US
If you can get this in an APK and sideload it (or any input emulator APK), you might be able to map your Touch controllers to actual control inputs that Minecraft would accept. No friggin clue if it will work
I found one called the "gamePad." It's ugly but it works. It has an option to put a persistent notification up that you can open at any time. I can link it if thats not against the sub rules
And I did email the square enix tech support. After a little back and forth they acknowledged it's a big, and said it will be patched, but they don't know when that patch will be and offered a refund. Bc I found the software keyboard, I'm not taking the refund.
Edit: here's the play store link. Mods, if it's not allowed, just let me know and I'll remove it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard
Works fine on the computer (Luckily... Built Godot from source.) On Android, I am using This app. I don't have a bluetooth controller or USB-OTG adapter to test an XBox controller with, sadly.
So I just tried the mobile version and went to train in the gym with no issues. The game had a built in arrows to tap for the combos.Arrows control
Anyway if you want another control option or the arrows are unabled for you, theres a gamepad app on playstore that you can use and customize each input: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard
Try this, there are a few that are thought mostly for DOS emulators, since some emulators lack proper screen controls.
I think that one maps a virtual keyboard
As of now, I'm using Tasker (to keep the keyboard open, not really needed because "Gamepad" already can open it if you click on his notification) + this app (with some modifications in the app config file, so I could add the necessary keybindings needed for Undertale, that requires root tho) and it is completely playable!
However I'm planning on creating a virtual keyboard just for Undertale.
(Also, it isn't very difficult to beat Omega Flowey with the virtual controls (well, at least the part I reached wasn't very difficult), I decided to die so I could show what it was going to happen if you died)
It's from a separate app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard
Maybe that can help: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard
I haven't tried it myself though.
go to bonk.io in your browser and use this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard < that's only app that i found.
Also my English is trash, sorry
Does it work with a virtual gamepad like this one?
but you need to setup it very strange way
Actually you can, from another thread:
I'm not familiar with those games however you could try out this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard

Take a look at this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard or similar to this. They offer remapping of keys.
Also doesn't your Chromebook support touchscreen?
A month late but its an issue REALLY worth solving...
> resize the screen to widescreen
I'm not sure about that, but the game lets you inherently select resolution.
>most keys needed like escape and enter, space and mouse clicks
I believe for most of the controls
>mouse clicks
They all have mouse clicks but Cuprum's mouse is the most responsive (I'll explain later).
> can move the image around and zoom to desired position
If image means screen I believe most controls let you pinch the screen to resize it but Cuprum has it for sure.
> Has joystick support and toggle for it
I'm afraid none of them have it but you can download this app that lets you pop out a virtual gamepad with 8-way direction support and up to 6 remappable buttons.
With that out of the way, if you're aiming to buy just ONE control scheme and get the most out of it; buy the Cuprum Controls from Exagear Strategies. It's mouse controls are the most responsive because it doesn't have to register multiple one finger commands. You should be able to play a lot of RTS games and have a decent fighting chance.
Its not perfect, but the auxiliary keys can be remapped should the game your playing support it (Even the 2/3 finger tap keys, I set Switch weapon in Diablo 2 to "Enter" which is pressed by tapping 2 fingers on the screen). You can also toggle between left click and right click mode with it's built-in mouse command.
Contrary to Ronald Deschain's vids on Exagear (Provided you've seen them), he plays all his games on a Note II. But the updates have really given a lot of optimization (I have one for my Samsung J7 Nxt which is more or less equal to the Note II in terms of power.)
Resolution support tends to be a mess, some game menus only have ONE resolution for user interfaces (Populous: The Beginning's menu at 240p and Red Alert 2/Diablo II's menus at 600p which means the menu will mess up when you pick a resolution that isn't the ones on display.
And the emulator doesn't support Direct3D. Even then some software rendered games won't run.
Hmmm, here's a free one that looks similar. Perhaps I'll give it a shot first:

Try this gamepad emulator. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fishstix.gameboard&hl=en
Android user here. This app works wonders as a joystick, although it is bulky for my small screen.
