Edit: For class suggestions, 2 weeks ago you were dead set on being a bishop, yesterday you were picking between BM and MM. So either of those I suppose.
It's actually senpai (せんぱい). I'm not going to be an asshole and tell everybody they're wrong, but I'd like to enrich those who have an interest in learning the language and want to do it properly instead of just learning the swear words.
I'm not sure what your budget is. I looked over amazon in the 300-400 dollar range.
Something like this would be ideal for someone who does light gaming and wants to make sure their computer wouldn't be obsolete in the next year or two.
https://www.amazon.com/INSPIRON-I3567-5664BLK-PUS-TOUCH-SCREEN-LAPTOP-I5-7200U/dp/B0778DVNHH
Basically, what you're looking for is the following:
CPU
>If it's Intel, go for i5. an i3 will work, but the i5 is a better processor. If you wan't to splurge for i7 you can, but i5 is good enough.
>Try to avoid AMD cpu's unless they're Ryzen. The APU's are ok, but are hit or miss depending on the specific model, you probably don't want a 3 year old APU but would be ok with a current gen one.
RAM:
>8gb is pretty much required in this day and age. 4gb just wont cut it anymore.
Hard Drive/Solid State:
>If HDD, go for 500-1tb. If SSD, don't settle for less then 256gb. Hopefully if you find one with a SSD it has a second drive in it as 256gb can be eaten quickly, especially since Windows is like 30-50gb nowadays I think.
Screen:
>Touch screens are the new "it" thing. I personally don't want them because I don't need my screen being smudgy from tapping. You can go for one, but there is usually some tradeoff in terms of price/hardware if you go for touch over a normal screen. Also, 1920x1080 is the preferred resolution, however at low end laptops you'll see lesser resolutions pop up.
Other:
>Things like bluetooth should be standard nowadays. USB ports are something good to keep in mind, especially if they're USB 3.0. Most people don't really mess with discs anymore but if that's important to you, make sure the thing has a drive built in. (If not its like 20 bucks for a usb drive).
I'm using a CM Storm QuickFire (cherry mx reds, purchased about 3 yrs ago) https://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-TK-Mechanical/dp/B00A378L4C but it looks like Amazon isn't selling it/its out of stock or something. Also doesn't work on my Corsair K70 Mk.2 (cherry mx blues) if that helps any!
I play on controller and its the best thing ive ever done in maplestory. I use https://joytokey.net/en/ (Joy2key) the best software that ive used.. super easy to hotkey 4 skills per button if needed. and i have enough buttons to fit all my characters.
honestly the best thing ive done was switch over to controller and a hdmi my computer to my 50 inch tv.. makes MS much more enjoyable like an arcade.
May I request that the Maplestory landing page with Zakum be removed?
http://maplestory.nexon.net/landing/ vs http://maplestory.nexon.net/
Sometimes it doesn't even load. I know for certain its not on my end since I've tried at home, school, work computers, and it flat out lags and makes accessing the Maple Forums and Cash Shop sales page a hassle.
Ouch. The amount of hours I've put in really hurts to hear you say that I have not put in any effort.
I have unique gollux superior ring with +6%all stats and +6% LUK, heart with +9% attack and +6% all stat, earring with +30% recovery items and skills and +6% all stats. You are right. I will cube my secondary next.
I have redone my hyper stats. Please let me know if you agree: https://www.screencast.com/t/u9qDXeeQ (2 in STR, 2 in DEX, 2 in LUK)
I can't get gollux pendant as my dmg range is too low. I can't get nova boots as my range is too low. I would use the pirate ship badge but the set bonus from crystal ventus beats it for damage gained. Do you think replacing everything with a low tier gollux set would help? I can go grind for that if you think so.
I tried... https://www.screencast.com/t/F7cbJOFxBx
Scam? Only a _____ (just saying "lame" does not do justice) attempt.
Fault at the end of the day? The buyer.
Just bought based on a picture. So much going against the guy. The obvious title, the missing note all tyrants have (<strong>in colored font</strong>), <strong>impossible stats</strong>
I don't believe someone actually got scammed here. Probably a transfer, left for the lulz.

Worth noting I used lots of different maps and usually chased good burning.
How exactly am I suspicious? My chat's always on and have had company for a good chunk of the past 5t xp :3
Thanks for your hard work in maintaining the wiki. It's a valuable resource. I'm wondering if you have considered migrating the contents of the site to different wiki software such as MediaWiki. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki
The current fandom wiki is very hard to navigate and read in my opinion. I understand it's a big ask. If Nexon collaborated with the community maybe better wiki software could become an option, and they could provide a host.
If you are going to add to crit using hyper stat points then you can use this little nifty calculator some kind redditor made (dont remember where I found it so if the owner pops up ill drop the credit to them) https://repl.it/B7TM/6
I have no real experience with Phantom, but for any class I get that high, I use this tool that I found on this subreddit!
It's pretty neat, you enter your stats at the top and click run and it calculates what's best for you to put points into! It's up to you if you raise your min-max crit damage, since it adds very little (1% in comparison to the 3% damage/boss damage/ignore defense you get per level of hyper-stats)
A while back someone linked this! https://repl.it/B7TM/45
Pretty cool little thing where you just fill in your stats. I wouldn't place any points in crit chance, min crit damage and max crit damage, since it's just 1 point per level, versus the 3% damage/boss damage/defense ignored.
Not from SEA (I'm in Japan), but I use Hotspot Shield Elite and it works fine for me, so I'd suggest checking it out. As for lag, well I don't really experience any to speak of. Every so often (re: not that often) I might get disconnected, but that's about the extent of it really.
I didn't throw accusations. I simply asked if that's the case and asked for it to be dealt differently if that's the case. The title was there to draw the attention of mods and to maybe get an explanation as to what I'm doing wrong. I'm quite new to reddit and didn't even consider there being a spam filter in here. How was I supposed to know they were deleted by the spam filter? I didn't get any notice they were taken down. I just tried to view my post, it doesn't say anywhere that my post was deleted/hidden. Don't say that like it was something so obvious when it clearly isn't.
Anyway, I tried Hola, HideMyIp, CyberGhost, none of them worked. Which is unfortunate because I clearly remember using HideMyIp to do this exact thing a couple of years back.
Hotspot Shield will always disable your accounts.
If you can log into the website, you are not IP banned (grats). If you were, You would get a message saying you were, and an option to Email nexon to review your account status.
Here's one from a couple days ago. The sale went on for more than 24 hours, I think.
Haha, I suppose. The Indian and Chinese "app" devs that try to steal obscene amounts of money from unaware parents and children is nearly entirely unregulated on the Google Play store, and it's disgusting.
However, it is fun to read and subsequently report. For example, (here's one that I literally just found)[https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rlg.flying.tiger.bike.robot.transform] that has 10 million downloads, 90% of which are from China and India. Enjoy this small hobby of mine! :)
Have you tried pressing and holding z and x in your chat and see if it goes like this: zxzxzxzxzxz? If so, I key bind those two keys to do the moves you wanted.
By the way, this is the keyboard I use
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/maple-story/10603 Suggests that while my setup is nothing to write home about, it is above average and should have no trouble with Maplestory at all. If that's what you call a potato brb going to Wendy's to get some fries.
It will be difficult for the engine to be remade and optimized because less and less people want to be software engineers in S. Korea.
https://www.quora.com/How-much-do-software-developers-in-South-Korea-get-paid
Could be outdated but probably not because I've also heard from word of mouth that Korea is one of the worst places to have a career as a programmer or developer. A lot of their sites are best used in IE for that matter. If there's not a lot of software engineers, then Nexon Korean probably doesn't have a lot and they'd also have to care enough to cleanup the game.
Our best bet is to have Nexon America optimize it but even if they cared and wanted to, it might not be cost efficient because they're always going to be getting patches from Korea and they'd have to change it every time.

There is actually one more way you can do it without sticky keys but only very specific keyboards can do it. Press and hold two letters at the same time in chat, and if they continuously alternate letters (for example zxzxzxzxzx), it means you can jump attack using those two keys. I use z to jump and x for quintuple throw.
Its kind of weird at first but I got used to it eventually. If it helps, preset keybinds will be a thing so you can use that setup for bossing.
By the way, this is the keyboard I own that lets me do it: Redragon K552 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard RGB LED Rainbow Backlit Wired Keyboard with Red Switches for Windows Gaming PC (87 Keys, Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016MAK38U/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_GFFZN53D1NG95KBCQJA5
oof, that sucks
---If your interested...---
If its purely ping/fps reliant (unfortunately I suspect its not), I had this pretty budget setup of using 5g wifi + wifi adapter/antenna thing + geforce now.
https://www.amazon.com/D-Link-Wireless-Network-Adapter-DWA-160/dp/B00127OVHI
I used to stream destiny 2/warframe/monster hunter/. Although geforce now has kind of regressed from my first initial experience with it in 2017 (I was a beta tester). Now you get a maximum of like one hour or something and I think they only give you a fractional amount of compute power if you're on a free account.
My main gripe with geforce now is that most people don't fit in the category of having fast wifi and a not so good setup. Usually both are bad or both are good, so the solution is super niche.
Depending on what bit (32, 64) his operating system he is running. I am assuming he is running a 32 bit, which in turnd needs atleast 4 gb to run smooththly.

Awesome! Check out this for a list of scanians to add :)
I just got an idea. Could you maybe make an improved version of the Mushmom Timer with the ability to set spawn times (MMT only allows 45-min countdowns) time multiple bosses and give alerts when they're ready to spawn? Such a program would be... amazing.
You guys are retarded. Getting banned from Nexon is a great thing. Don't want to quit because you're too invested? They're doing you a favor. Get your shit together man, you've got this!

You're welcome
If anyone doesn't already know, https://skribbl.io/ is a fun picture guessing game where you draw something and others have to guess.
You are able to use custom word lists, so I have been putting together this list for playing during maintenance. So far I've covered monsters, bosses, areas and jobs. I'm open to all suggestions for improvements!
https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/
Flashpoint is an opensource project that let's you play flash games/animations offline. You can choose from their large selection of games or add them yourself. Pretty helpful when you have a restricted work computer like me.
I just use OBS (Open Brocaster Software).
It's nice because I can still have my overlays if I want to record something for Youtube and not stream it, or I can forgo the overlays entirely and have something vanilla.
Sounds like you're having trouble connecting to the site. I don't know why that is. The rankings are working just fine for me. Maybe check your internet connection, clear your cache, ect.
(Protip: If you ever have trouble connecting to a site and don't know if it's you or the site having problems, check Down For Everyone of Just Me)
If you did get hacked, it happened before 2013, though.
https://joytokey.net/en/ is the website, obviously got the free version, it's just like downloading winrar were it says to buy the full version, or it's just a trial, but should be good forever.
It shouldn't be illegal or against TOS? it's just converting controller inputs into keyboard ones. Using programs like macros to create afk stuff is against TOS.
i use a program called borderless gaming. i found a free version from the dude's github. its really cool it allows me to full screen maple while still being "windowed" in a sense. this way, i don't have to use maplestory's awful scaling issue that resizes my desktop. its also really nice because it allows me to still use my other monitors in my multi-monitor setup while having maplestory full screen on my main monitor so that everything isn't super tiny.
i'm using an older version it looks like, but here https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-Gaming/releases i've been using this for a year + no issues. only thing is when i enter the cash shop, or auction house, or change characters, or whatever else changes the screen, i have to make it not full screen or the resolution becomes fucky
http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
When you set up bootcamp you can restart your computer and select if you would like to boot into windows or mac.
Maple works quite well in Bootcamped windows.
Same happened to me when I first came back, took me all day to troubleshoot and I finally found an answer. 1. Re-Download the HShield folder - https://hostr.co/gCBGUAQa840f 2. Restart computer 3. Delete the HShield folder in your file manager and replace it 4. Launch Maplestory
P.S. If it freezes after you select your region just end the Nexon Launcher (Not Nexon Security) in your task manager and reopen it.
Keep me updated if this doesn't work!
Oh, good god, of course it's DOTcurrency... Sigh, MS is kinda hitting the fan...

EDIT: Here are some others.
Download the software that corresponds to your graphic card. This will detect the model of your card and automatically download the latest drivers.
If your card is AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
If your card is NVIDIA: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/
You can also try setting up your monitor frequency. Go to Nexon>Library>maplestory>appdata and open Setup. Follow the steps.
Hey! I’ve heard EU Reboot is still doing fine, maybe you should check it out. If you’re going to play you’ve got to be ready for some hell. Re-leveling mules in a new server with 5x hp mobs is horrific. It gets better as you go though, so do your research on how to maximize dmg and quickly level up.
My advice would be to utilize burning and make some damage mules. DA oneshots everything and gives 10% dmg link. Kanna is easy to level with kishin too. These will help all subsequent characters. Hell, even if you get them to 70 that’ll be enough. If you’re really getting into this, make a second account and kishin yourself from a different computer. I use a cloud computer service from Shadow to make this insanely easy and simple for me. Double PC meta is where it’s at.
Focus on getting as strong as possible BEFORE training to high levels. Post 150 monsters are far more dangerous for some reason. They’ll destroy you, and you’ll only be tickling them. Rush prequests like gollux, CRA, commerci, mag etc. Be aware that you may need to upgrade low level gear to progress. I had a few epic% gear (occult cubes) from grinding and swapped them to my main.
What I’m trying to say is that there are tons of resources out there in game to help you along the way, you just need to utilize them. Game is slow and steady due to this. Last but not least... please pick a decent mobbing character and get your CRA/Gollux carries. Don’t be like me with an MM with no links or damage. I got shit on completely lol.
The only "free" way to do it, is if you have a windows machine somewhere that you can use Chrome remote desktop on, which would allow you to connect to your windows machine using your chromebook.
You could probably play that way, since it sends a livestream of that computers display to your chromebook, which you can interact with.
It can pretty easily be laggy though, since it relies on multiple connections (the connection from your windows machine to maplestory, your windows machine to google's servers, and then the connection between google's servers and your chromebook), which could make it harder to play.

There isn't any way to run maplestory directly on a chromebook due to the operating system chromebooks use, which is Chrome OS.
Chrome OS, which is a linux based OS, is completely different than how windows runs, it's more like a android phone/tablet, than a "real" laptop with windows on it, since you only really have access to what's on the play store etc.
There's a program called Wine which can be used to run some Windows programs on some linux systems, MacOS etc, but it won't help in your case though, since maplestory doesn't work with Wine.

TL;DR: You can't run maplestory directly on a chromebook, get a windows laptop or desktop if you want to play maplestory.
One of my professors puts up his notes on a school server (he basically wrote an online textbook but had it in website form so it was easy to navigate), and due to some weirdness with the school, it was only accessible if you were connected to the school's internet while on campus. So he told us to download the website ourselves and have a copy of it to read offline. (This was a computer science course, so that was actually part of the class, he wasn't just being a dick by not offering the download himself)
Point of this randomass anecdote is, I did this with Ayumilove cause of all the ads, and you could too if you wanted. I used HTTrack link, but there are simpler ones out there too, I just like this one cause I can tell it not to download comments and shit.
The Universal CRT (part of the Visual C++ Redistributable 2017) failed to install:
if you need a REALLY SMALL machine, you could use openshift . Their free layer is small but Will work for what you want.
https://www.openshift.com/products/pricing/
Back in the day when i used that the catch of the free layer was if the machine was inactive then after a few hours turned off but with an automatic ping or something like that you keep it alive and running.

You don't have to remake your character, you have to make a new one on the Reboot server. People in this thread are seriously exaggerating.
You can have characters on different servers and still keep your old character if you want. It's possible to play both. In fact, I would recommend it.
Additionally, if you care to restart your old character, he's what I recommend:
Damage is good. Other people seem to think Boss damage and PDR but if you dont do bosses that would hardly be helpful. HERE is an optimizer. If you dont like bossing change line 16 to equal "True"
There is a Hyper Stat calculator that maxes boss DPS (or regular DPS if i_dont_care_about_bossing is true) here.
I would recommend you start farming Gollux to obtain the rings and pendants. If you can't solo easy Gollux, you can bring along a party or just farm the shoulders for several days. You might also wish to start the Heizan Temple questlines. If you have a poor connection, you might want to avoid teleporting with Kanna, but otherwise completing these storylines will give you a shoulder, a ring, and a belt.
I'm not sure if the Pensalir set is better or worse than the Revolution set, but you can collect those pieces as well by grinding mobs around your level and fighting Horntail. Easy Magnus may also be within your range, who can drop Nova capes. If you haven't already, you should use 3m mesos to buy an AP reset scroll from NPC Matilda and reassign all your AP into your main stat.
Link skills add a lot more then you would think
Filling every equip slot helps a lot
Getting potential on every equip you can
Scrolling your gear
Getting good set gear like CRA
Tyrants are crazy if you can get some star enhancements on them. and even clean
Killing gollux and scrolling the gollux items you get can add a total of like 162 ATK.
Getting the right Hyper stats. Heres an optimizer https://repl.it/B7TM/6
Inner ability adds some really good stuff.
any questions on anything let me know. Im sure theres more then this as well
I wrote an optimization calculator that finds the most optimal distribution of hyper stats, if anyone is interested.
http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=gfaQqryz
You just need to fill the variables in on line 9 and line 29. (points, boss, total, minCrit, maxCrit, mainStat, bossPDR, pdr).
The hyper stat for +main stat is confirmed to not be affected by potential. Put put what you see in your stat window into mainStat, after subtracting 50 * (1+(how much % main stat you have/100)) to remove the current hyper passive. 'points' is not how much you get at level X, but how many you actually want to use on min/max crit, boss, total, main stat, and pdr (the damage increasing stats). You might want to get stance, status resist, critical chance or something else.
You don't need to download the JDK to run it - just run it online. https://repl.it/languages/java
Okay so for the hard code. You will need to download autoit from: https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/downloads/
Then once that is done you will be able to edit & compile the script. To edit open the script in either notepad, notepad++, or the autoit editor. Any line where you see:
variable_name = IniRead(file_name, section, key, default) you will want to replace with:
variable_name = default.
For example I would replace this line:
$startX = IniRead("settings.ini","Global","startX", "70")
with $startX = 70
The documentation on creating variables can be found here: https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/intro/lang_variables.htm
But this isn't a blog site. These are news posting in an embedded general social media format. Off the top of my head, Notepad++'s website would be an example. News listing, no need for a search feature. You can still find what you need with conventional, external methods.
I personally don't understand the use of a built-in search feature when information and location are simple enough with Google. You can use Google's Search Operators to narrow properly. Here's an example if you wanted to find mostly Cash Shop updates:
site:maplestory.nexon.net/news intitle:"Cash Shop"
I see so many people making that mistake that is so preventable, use a legit email that you know the password of. If it's a site I only wanna use once, teleworm it is!
> There are keyboards out there that support full N-key rollover that is able to register all keypresses where you shouldn't have to use sticky keys.
I've said this multiple times now. However, this is misinformation. I had a keyboard with NKRO (hyperX alloy FPS pro). I even tested it to ensure NKRO was enabled. It still doesn't work without sticky keys. I had to buy a specific keyboard for this to work.
NRKO does not guarantee that inputs will be alternated when two buttons are pressed. (For example, pressing Q and W inputs "qwqwqw..." as opposed to "qwwwww...")
From what I gather, this is incredibly keyboard specific. I hear that ducky keyboards will work. The SteelSeries Apex 7 TKL will work if you configure some settings.
> This is a hardware limitation of most keyboards There's no reason that Nexon cannot just program Maplestory listen to keypresses as opposed to text input. In other games, you can hold the attack button just fine without having a delay between the first and second attack.
Similarly, they can just hard program the alternating keypresses behaviour when certain button combinations are pressed. (e.g. Night Walker jump + attack, Kanna shikigami haunting + tengu strike.)
If you plan on making a big purchase on a mechanical keyboard then it would be a good idea to get a switch tester. Every switch is different from one another and it would be a good idea to figure out what is comfortable for your fingers before you shell out a bunch of money for keyboard that may or may not be comfortable to use.
Personally I use a Leopold FC750R OE with clear switches, though a lot of people who using their keyboard mostly for gaming swear by red switches, since they have very little resistance and activate extremely quickly in exchange for no tactical "bump" when you click it.
As others have said that specific laptop is overkill strictly for MapleStory. However, if you see yourself doing a bit more intensive pc gaming then there are better choices.
(Check out the free game findings reddit and games like gta 5, borderlands etc, will be free on a respective retailer for a limited time.)
I’m assuming you in the U.S because you linked the .com Best Buy link. If so, here is an amazon laptop that is 10 more (739)than the one you listed (also better than the 749 version on the best buy site).
If you can, my personal advice is to wait until this pandemic is over. Pc parts (used and new) are jacked the fuck up and I am sure the same thing is happening to laptops. If you cannot wait, then I would suggest you find a laptop that is slightly cosmetically damaged (e.g. scratches to the body only) if your comfortable with it.
Cosmetic damage can knock off 50 -200+ on some laptops but good deals are harder to find on amazon. I personally have a slightly scratched acer nitro that I got for 500 (Canadian dollars). It was a bitch to find but worth it for my needs in the end. I’ll keep looking if your willing to wait a while.
The nice thing about amazon used is that you can return it within 30 days no questions asked if needed. You just need to be stress test it early on via benchmarking etc.
Any laptop with at least 4 gigabytes of RAM, not super ancient (like pre-2010), and CPU that isn't Intel's Atom series would be able to run it at a very playable performance.

Even a $330 laptop like this with an i3 CPU is an overkill for what you need to play maple. ~~unrelated but imo that actually is one of the best deals u can get at the price range~~
The game crashes at channel selection if you're IP banned, not when you log in. Try PrivateTunnel free version and see if you can get pass the channel if you can that means your account is not pre blocked.
Smart DNS Proxy is the best alternative of VPN if you want to bypass Geo-restrictions. The reason that SmartDNS differs wildly from VPN with better user speed is that it does not require traveling through a distant server location. So a SmartDNS router setup gives you some of the advantages a VPN service can offer without the potential disadvantage of slower speeds from heavy VPN encryption. Hope it could help
I use Hotspot Shield, works perfectly for maple global and it doesn't seem to cause much latency issues.
You can also freely get the elite version from a certain site about pirate ships. But if you're not in to pirate ships, the free version works well enough I think.
I have also tried VPNGate which is a free open VPN, but that doesn't seem to work, Maplestory will give an error stating that it could not connect to the login server.
Yes, you will need a proxy of some sorts. A populair one is Hotspot Shield. It's free to install and easy to use. Just make sure the shield in the bottom right is on Green(on) and you are connected to a American server.
FrootVPN is a new one that came out recently. Also, VPNs work by rerouting all your data to a different location before going to its intended destination, making it seem your IP and location are where the VPN servers are located. Though depending on the VPN, you might notice some more additional lag considering your data is having to travel the extra mile along with the bandwidth limitations on their servers.
Ok, so this is how I spent 2 months outside of the US for and was able to play GMS
Go download Hotspot Shield, its a VPN program, they have a free option, but there will be ad's popping up, which for most people, its not worth it.
For me it was, 2 months during the summer, I'll be dammed if i missed all the events in a 2 month time period. The ads will only pop up while it's on, so remember to turn off and exit the program when you are not playing. I'd also not recommend playing in fullscreen while you do this. The ads for me weren't anything bad, for me they were just the same news website every time they came up.
There is a daily limit on the bandwidth, but that only applies to web browsers is what it seems like, I hit the limit but was able to keep playing MS
The only downside is that its really slow. Picking up items can be an absolute pain without a pet.
You can also use AOL and ProXPN (works better than Hotspot Shield). If you want content, I guess GMS would suit you better. But EMS has some friendly community with just a small delay in the content, and also requires no proxy to play.
If you're really serious about playing on global, you can try a VPN service.
Note that I have not used a vpn service to play maplestory, so I'm not sure how effective this will be.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.ommaapps.kmsenchanter
This is one, it could also list out all possible things you can get, for example this
Also idk korean
This is my standard keyboard, I don't use mechanical unless that counts as one. The feedback off a standard is slightly better for me.

i just use a ps1 or ps2 controller that i have and then i bought this https://www.amazon.com/SIENOC-Controller-Console-Joystick-Converter-Adapter/dp/B01K1CRX6A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495133095&sr=8-1&keywords=ps1+ps2+converter and mapped out the keys with xpadder.
Get the logitech k120 keyboard. Jump att works on it, but doesn't work on my mechanical gaming keyboard. No clue why. its only $15. And i have tried multiple different keyboards, this one has worked for me on 3 seperate computers.
Thanks for the answers, definitely won't buy that laptop. What about this one? http://www.amazon.com/Newest-Asus-X553SA-Celeron-Windows/dp/B018DYW7VE/ref=sr_1_28?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1448552483&sr=1-28&keywords=laptop
It would be $300 on a normal day, so I guess that's increasing the budget, but the discount makes it $235. What do you think?
There's also this one which is supposed to be $999 but it's $267 now (That gives me bad vibes, seems like it's too good to be true.) http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Business-Professional-Dual-Core-Processor/dp/B00YFPXH9C/ref=sr_1_31?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1448552680&sr=1-31&keywords=laptop
