Edit: It's not about strategy to win FPL, more like its history and some anecdotes.
i'm part of a betting syndicate and i provide the stats for the group. The data is something i've built up over about 11 years now. It comes from feeds from several sites and also stuff i create on my own.
I send round this every week for the Prem games and also started posting it in /r/soccerbetting
It's pretty shit at the start of the season as the data is from last season so a lot of the predictions are completely wrong but as the season goes on it gets a lot better. Just a bit of fun for the first 6 weeks.

Plus i'm a quants hedge fund analyst by day! that helps. Stats/data is my life...

Great App IMO
Pretty much played the whole season using just that.
Edit.. So um, what's with the downvotes? Great app seriously. I played through the whole season without problems and it has 99% of needed features and is very easy to use, works fast. The FPL website on mobile in comparison to this app is very janky and slow.
Anyone using fantasy football manager can preview their team in future gameweeks. Not sure if it's on iPhone but I've used this on Android for 2-3 years and love it.

Fantasy Football fix is what you're after, also tells you bonus points and mini league standings far before the official site.
Definitely a phishing attempt to try get to your team.
Hopefully you have a password that is strictly only used for your FPL account.
To everyone, if you have been exposed, change your password on EVERY account you can think of, and do NOT use the same password across sites as tempting as it may be.
Best of Luck for the rest of the season aeternias.
This will probably get buried but you can create a shortcut to behave like an app.

Fantasy Football Fix:

Good for live points updates, and nice way to check the prices. But as the other poster said, Fplstatistics is more accurate.
For everything else, Fantasy Football Manager:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
This one is really great. Leagues above any other app in terms of fpl review and management. This is the free version, but it deserves support and buying the pro version.
Magnus Carlsen’s career going downhill since FPL season started, just like for the rest of us.
https://www.chess.com/news/view/2019-grand-chess-tour-playoff-vachier-lagrave-beats-carlsen
Key highlight:
“Until August of this year, Carlsen was considered to be untouchable in speed chess matches. He hadn't lost a single tiebreak in 12 years...”
Coaching staff, most people of Norway and casual chess fans, all uninitiated into the emotional turmoil of managing a FPL team, probably going like “I wonder what happened in August with Magnus, something changed...”
Twitter notifications often don't work for me and only trigger when I look at my phone (a bit useless if I can't always be looking at my phone). I use Telegram for work so I'll almost always be online. I made an /r/FantasyPL telegram group so we can discuss things like this and share the information as quickly as possible.
When the game goes live, as soon as I or other users in the group find out, I'm going to 'pin' the message to the top which will send a notification to everyone's phone.
Telegram is available on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS. https://telegram.org/
Telephone numbers are required to sign up but YOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER IS NOT PUBLIC, ONLY USERNAMES ARE SEEN.
Use the third party Fantasy Football Manager app instead.
So much better than the official app I'm terms of functionality and I've never had any reliability issues.
62 with only Ozil left to play. Bloody fucking Aguero, I'm going back to having a defender as captain for next GW, probably Clyne (for West Ham at home) or Kompany (for Watford at home). Oh, and best part, I missed the Saturday fixtures up until MOTD was on since my dad sliced his hand open with a circular saw, and I thought I'd dropped Scott Dann to the bench, so I shouted 'FUCK OFF' at him when I saw his goal!
Maybe this is what you are after? Run the code, then enter 313 for the overall league and then, say, from page 1 to 10 to view 500 teams. It will take time since a lot of data is imported in tabular form. So don't enter page 1 to 50 at once.
It was released this morning that he returned to training today and that he may be making a much earlier return than was originally expected.
It was the Scoutcast as I really like Mark Sutherns but for one reason or another he's not hosting anymore and is even a rotating guest.
For now, it's a new one, FPL Toliet from @apple_bonkers (Doug Jones) on Twitter. Solo podcast from is a self-professed "maverick". He has great stats and insights but is also hilarious. He also doesn't drag on for over an hour like many of these podcasts. I don't care for most podcasts but I really look forward to his.
His link for anyone who is interested:
I agree the official FPL app is crap. If you have Android, this app is really very good: Fantasy Football Manager Shows next few fixtures with difficulty ranking, links to popular FPL websites like scout, geek, FF247 and others, links to podcasts (even allows you to add your own bookmarked links so you don't need to keep tabs permanently open on your phone's browser). Gets periodically updated with new features too. Occasional ads but imo not worth paying for the as free version.
I made this app for one of my mini league game point calculation(game rules are different). I don't think you need authenticated endpoints for accessing data. authenticated endpoints is needed only for POST requests like doing transfer or changing your team. let me know which data you need to access. I can help you. PM me
Personally I use Chrome. Web app is fine just as it is. But if you want a specific app a lot of people been suggesting Fantasy Football Manager (FPL).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2.adfree
Just get that one, it works like a dream and gets updated to become even better all the time.
Name is Fantasy Football Manager Pro
Hi,
If you on Android, I can recommend fantasy football manager which has the option to set deadline reminders.
Currently have mine set to '2hrs before deadline'.
Link: Fantasy Football Manager:- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
doesn't rank, but you can see the best ones: https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=938B96E78B993CBE!229&ithint=file%2cxlsm&app=Excel&authkey=!ACKIcwBal9a90PE
when possible we will update the badge of top10k for you
i put together a stats package each week for a betting syndicate that i started up. I also post it over at /r/soccerbetting
this is the pdf i make each week: https://mega.nz/#!k4cxwaYZ!h0hOJpbBJc1W91cBZj-wEtOfj0yK0FNYc4iuiJV1SZU
I would start with Ozil and transfer in Depay if he looks really good after the first couple of games. With Depay & Pedro (assuming) as new players this could disrupt the attacking flow the first games.
Nice team. Why go for Henderson and not Milner? I am thinking Henderson gets the old Gerrard role as the more defensive medfielder, while Milner gets the box-to-box. I think this gives him more potential for goals and bonus points. He will be hungry to prove himself after a couple of seasons on the bench.
My team, if you are interested: https://gyazo.com/097a297ffb51d3203d2195b2ff1a97dc It is on Fanmates, where everyone in the league gets a unique team. I had to be more long term, so I took the chance on Depay. I hope it works out.
If price really isn't a factor then Chris Smalling. We'll probably concede to Leicester away but we have West Ham, Bournemouth, Norwich and Stoke after that. Worth mentioning that he has been hugely unlucky not to score so far this season, nearly scored again against Watford yesterday.
Try this :-
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
I have been using this instead of the official android app.
Works brilliantly and the dev is very active.
Hey could you add my app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fantasy.live It's only on android now but hoping to have iOS next season. Looking at open sourcing it as well over the summer so people can start contributing to it!
You need VPN during matches for 5 Live. If not you'll just get a message saying something like "we're only allowed to broadcast premier league in the UK." I've used Zenmate (not free) with TuneIn on my cell phone.
Also, NRK Alltid Nyheter / BBC World Service is broadcasting 5 Live from 17.10 Norwegian time saturdays and sundays.
Or the Free with ads version of FFM (Fantasy Football Manager) is here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
Both great but worth the money to clear ads. The functionality and extra sort parameters (over the official app) are great.
I don't use the official app but I assume that you're talking about the FPL app made by Homemade Apps? It's the only thing I use - especially now when they have added current, purchase and selling price.
It's better than the official homepage 99% of the time. When you're searching for a player on the transfer market you can for example set both a maximum and a minimum price and increments of 0.1 and not 0.5 as on the official site. And when you change the team on the official site it's not always saved for some reason but on this app it's 100%.
I use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andromo.dev22397.app21851
For me, it is the best fantasy app, yes it uses the website in mobile mode, but it also includes links to fantasy news sites, podcasts and stats for your players. It has the occasional ad, but with the amount of time I spend on it, I think they are few and far between.. And it's free.
Hmph, I was planning on using my WC after Int break 1.
My team is pretty poor and needs rotation options, how bad is this? Should I try and hold it out for after int break 2? If I do, I'll have to try and wait every 2nd gameweek to switch this team around to get guaranteed starters and the informs.
Well this will be for next week obviously. City have great fixtures (hence Aguero and all round beast) and LFC have West Ham next. Here's the team i'd wildcard to: https://gyazo.com/d5d9fc12953aa4d9e15c630c57f18d13
I just launched "Fantasy PL" iOS/Android app that makes checking out your watchlist super easy:
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/fpl-fantasy-pl/id1546605911
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rohantaneja.fantasypl
Hope you like it!
I have an app which is still a work in progress, but works enough to give it a try - do let me know about any problems (in particular I don't know how the backend will hold up with a lot of users). It can sometimes be out of sync right at the start of a new gameweek - but soon catches up.
It's different from the other apps / websites (as far as I know) in that it does full league ranks and positions in real time for all leagues including the global leagues.
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xamaral.liveff
iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/real-time-fantasy-footy/id1566553780
Spreading means more chance of bonus points per GW I think, but I have to say honestly it boggles my mind a little bit. There's only 5 bonus points per match unless they end on the same amount of points. I really have trouble looking at players individually, unless it's in defence. I don't know if it's a subconscious thing, but it seems like a bad idea to triple up on 3 attacking players from the same team. I get that not all of them can haul at the same time, but I'm not looking to keep players for a complete season anyways, so I spread it out a little.
I think if you go with triple attack from the same team, the most important thing is to order these kneebraces from Amazon at a solid
discount:
You're gonna knee them.
Also price drops are a bitch to manage if that team decides to suck ass for a while.

It uses secure DNS instead of public DNS. If you want to do this other way you would have root on your device or pay for the app. You can also use NordVPN and pay for that service. Whatever. This was just an example.
This is my current team, Please take a poll and let me know what your transfer would rather be.

GKP: Fabianski (Begovic)
DEF: Alonso, Mendy, Robertson (Wan-Bissaka) (Peltier)
MID: Richarlison, Fraser, Hazard (C), Salah (V) (Højbjerg)
FWD: Zaha, Agüero, Wilson
This is my actual starting team by the way.

It looks like subs don't really make that much of a difference but maybe I'm wrong. Doesn't look that bad of a defence in the starting line up though does it?
Couldn't do Eriksen to Yaya. Need 0.1mil. Nothing in the bank, one FT. This is how I'd change it (if I use my wildcard). https://gyazo.com/c67725f4e56a046a07638061fe2d9539[1] Note i'd be played 3-5-2, so Romero Clyne, Darmian, Kompany Yaya Toure, Mata, Barkley, Erisken, Chadli Benteke, Aguero

0.5ITB, 1FT
Should I take out Richarlison for Walcott or Mkhitaryan?
Strawpoll: https://www.strawpoll.me/16338792
I never do this, but this is probably the most important week of the season, and I'm 20 points behind top in my 30+ players mini-league and still have some chances of winning.
My team: http://collabshot.com/show/Q8X37M I'm already in -4 hit zone. 0 in the bank.
My biggest concern are Everton players, especially Lukaku. They're in position where they can play an easy game because they can't go up or down on the table. Watford on the other hand still need some points to avoid relegation, so it all kind of smells of 0:0 game.
Rashford seems as a not so great choice, I'd change him but I don't know who else to pick for that money.
My other single game players - Smith and Boruc play an easy game home against my other GK Heaton. I'm hoping for some clean sheets there, and in general I don't know whom to pick as a replacement within price range, maybe Foster but he has 2 extremely difficult games.
There isn't a simpler method really.
How much more simple could you get than CMD&SHIFT&4, then go to imgur and upload the screencap from your desktop? :/
Actually.. I lie.. there is an easier way (which I don't use much)... If you use Google Chrome, here's an extension for imgur...
After that's installed, just go to your team in the site. Right-click (or CTRL-click) on your team and choose "imgur" -> "Capture Area". When you select the team, it'll auto upload to imgur.
This should be the same from a windows pc I think.
this can help to decide some rotation... i just went with one keeper, so no idea who are the best
according to the difficulty of each (based on my opinion of team form) and the difficulty of away games, I think : Benteke > Rooney > Hazard > Ozil
Or you can do it yourself using http://robertpallas.github.io/fpl-toolbox/#/ or https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=95128DAB50B9CC34!115&ithint=file%2cxlsm&app=Excel&authkey=!AGLlhqThKHBj5yE
I remember being so relieved last December when I bravely/foolishly captained someone else and saw that Snow Salah was benched.
If you want to know how to do this by programming it yourself here is an example API for a player (Shane Duffy):
https://fantasy.premierleague.com/drf/element-summary/49 > > {"id":1632,"kickoff_time":"2018-09-01T14:00:00Z","kickoff_time_formatted":"01 Sep 15:00","team_h_score":2,"team_a_score":2,"was_home":true,"round":4,"total_points":1,"value":45,"transfers_balance":8883,"selected":164905,"transfers_in":19625,"transfers_out":10742,"loaned_in":0,"loaned_out":0,"minutes":90,"goals_scored":0,"assists":0,"clean_sheets":0,"goals_conceded":2,"own_goals":0,"penalties_saved":0,"penalties_missed":0,"yellow_cards":0,"red_cards":0,"saves":0,"bonus":0,"bps":13,"influence":"18.0","creativity":"0.0","threat":"2.0","ict_index":"2.0","ea_index":0,"open_play_crosses":0,"big_chances_created":0,"clearances_blocks_interceptions":8,"recoveries":4,"key_passes":0,"tackles":0,"winning_goals":0,"attempted_passes":33,"completed_passes":25,"penalties_conceded":0,"big_chances_missed":0,"errors_leading_to_goal":0,"errors_leading_to_goal_attempt":0,"tackled":0,"offside":0,"target_missed":0,"fouls":0,"dribbles":0,"element":49,"fixture":31,"opponent_team":9},
In the API the field which you want to get is value and divide by 10.
If you do a table which lists the values based on Fixture and Value, you will get a week on week price change table. From that table you'll be able to plot a graph through javascript:
It's nothing to do with Aubameyang. Messi is the only striker on the planet than can collect the ball in his own half and have a chance of dribbling everyone and scoring. Every other striker is dependent on the coach setting up the team to produces chances.

And that - setting up your strikers to score - the data says Arteta is poor at:
https://www.fotmob.com/leagues/47/stats/season/15382/teams/big_chance_created_team/stats
http://www.livescore.com/soccer/england/premier-league/stoke-city-vs-swansea-city/1-2252277/
No. Though that was when bradley was experimenting, so who knows now. For the moment, amat seems to be the choice, but you almost never want to play swansea defence (except perhaps this week, but even then sunderland are looking better now). I'd potentially go with amat (he's truly the only nailed on 4.2 or lower, with a few like ake being more fleeting appearances). Don't try and play 2 4.0 defenders, imo, unless you're truly in need of the money for attack for some reason.
De Gea - Ryan
Lowton - Christensen - Smalling - Simpson - Naughton
Mahrez - Sanchez - Son - Willian - King
Kane - Barnes - Vardy
Thinking of doing Mahrez and Christensen for Sterling + Danilo?
Have 0.1 ITB and 2 free transfers ...

My immediate concerns:
Should I ignore my immediate concerns and go for acquiring DGW players?
My main mistake is going drunk before making transfers, so this one has to be made drunk :(

Since Elliot and Speroni are both 4.1 I'll consider which one to get in the near future...
0 FT left
2.4 ITB
http://pokit.org/get/img/215e41d813806ad39e91b58274bd361a.jpg
My short/medium term is to bring DDG and another 3.9GK.
The rest of the team all are starters besides Goldson. I was trying to get in 15 starters.
Generally I'm happy with my team besides Vardy output since I brought him 3 GWs ago.
Current team: http://pokit.org/get/img/253be456c43a1239594b6f0ebbda1e83.jpg
thinking about doing this:
http://pokit.org/get/img/b7dde01721b60f61d0a158711cd58ea3.jpg
or instead of Kabalese - Jones which would be exact 0.0 ITB left
any thoughts on my team and how to proceed?
What do you think? I've been improving for 5 GW's strait in OR. From 1.8mil to 600k right now.
http://pokit.org/get/img/991e892e1b35499fd7da4c3797343911.jpg
My biggest 2 issues are:
GK fixtures are horrible (CITY, huddersfield, CHELSEA, spurs)
Kolasinac has next game where he could produce then city, SPURS
also hoping Jones will be ok

1FT left, 3.0 ITB
originally wanted to get 1 liverpool mid (coutinho/salah) instead of mikhi and city mid instead of eriksen then upgrade either to 1 premium striker instead of Chicha (morata, jesus) or not do that and upgrade the defense?
thoughts?
Yea, I just did that kind of swap, maybe you missed my edit:
http://pokit.org/get/img/422005a028ee15dcbc92d0f5e486bbe0.jpg
I was trying to actually avoid 2x liverpool and I think this gives me enough coverage almost everywhere
to who? I plan on playing Caroll as 4th mid, or should I push Caroll to 5th and get someone else?
edit: would zaha be good if I could downgrade lowe to 4.0 defender?
http://pokit.org/get/img/422005a028ee15dcbc92d0f5e486bbe0.jpg
hmm?
http://pokit.org/get/img/69a7f043c8c802fd5bb911f86b46543a.jpg
I have no idea what to do:
Get Willian for coverage of chelsea players - have 2m remaining and have no idea how to update
or
just get Salah and have 0 Chelsea coverage but 2 liverpool players : Salah and Firmino?
http://pokit.org/get/img/c45e0cdb0e8d4753ea86ef5d3a87c651.jpg
I could do it more efficiently if I paid attention which players to drop. Some of them are odd numbers in profit so I get a fraction only. It would probably upgrade a defender by 0.5
http://pokit.org/get/img/4c0a33db235826554ec969c402b9b9d9.jpg
I was thinking the following:
1st step: Only 1 transfer this GW. Get out Hazard and keep 2 FT for next week as insurance.
2nd step: next GW improve either Hernandez or get rid of 2nd WBA player (McAuley) improving with probably Walker or Defoe/Rondon/Deeney.
3rd step: Keep Ozil/Sanchez until "easy" fixtures end. Sell the one with lower form (thinking of Ozil) and use that money to transfer in a Liverpool MF.
Any suggestions?
I'm in a pickle right now. I basically have 3 options
Keep Hazard?
Trade him out along with Fer and get 2 decent MFs with 15.2 ITB?
Trade him out for a Liverpool MF and use the rest to improve DF (have Stones and Valencia) for Walker?
I can't do it all at once since I only have 1 FT now. Last week I gambled and took a -4 hit for Sanchez which proved very lucrative but I don't think doing it again will be smart.
edit: current situation
http://pokit.org/get/img/fa08f8fb15e277a264a7413335743921.jpg
I'm really on the fence about it, as a United fan I'm loving the prospect of Depay, like you said I think he could bag close to 15 goals this season if he adapts to the BPL straight away. But risky. Ozil is more proven and if he stays fit will be a point scoring dream for only 8.5 this season.
My main thought process right now is Arsenal have WHU + CRY first 2 games, easier than TOT + VILLA. I have Rooney in my team already, perhaps I should go with Ozil and look to switch to Depay if he hits from straight away.
Edit:My team if you're interested
PLS rate this wildcard team: https://monosnap.com/file/74iv057R3kKTvvndVtLXssicrq3opN
I'm still not sure about one midfield and one forward spot. Should I have:
Maddison + Rashford/Jimenez
Zaha + Rashford/Jimenez
Pogba + Jimenez
Mane + Greenwood
Before the wildcard I have Maddison and Jimenez in these spots, keeping them will leave me with 1.8 ITB so I could keep it to bring in LIV players before fixture turn at GW23 or maybe improve Kelly to Baldock or someone else.
Thanks! We produce a weekly podcast if you're interested. Would be happy to put your questions to the presenters.

Been meaning to sit down and properly learn some machine learning techniques to apply to fantasy football prediction for ages but this is as far as I've got messing around with the data so far. Mainly just been playing around with interactive web visualisations for now.
Let me know what you end up doing, especially any prediction stuff!
There's plenty of free tutorials and books/pdfs out there (I'm a big fan of https://pythonprogramming.net/), no need to start with a paid course.
I'd start by installing anaconda (https://www.anaconda.com/) and using the Jupyter Notebook web app that comes with it. Jupyter Notebook is great for learning, because it allows you to run small snippets instead of the entire script (ie. example.py) and is simple to use. Just find some tutorials and start exploring.
For stripping data from websites, you're looking for 'web scraping'. Two popular python libraries for this are beautifulsoup (used for parsing html) and json (used for parsing json data).
Sorry I'm without my computer for 2 days so I can't upload it in time for you. If you still need it, there's a tool called OCR to convert those "Full tables" images I linked to an Excel file, I tried it in the past and it worked. The tool is here
Thanks for responding!
Yeah, surely most of them must be insignificant to users. Yet, I have created a reference of ALL such params.
To name a few ambiguous for starters-
events: most_selected, most_captained
elements: ict_index, direct_freekick_order

I have ticked '✔' the one's I thought are useful and marked '(?)' which are ambiguous.
I'm loving this livescore app. Apart from checking statistics and livescore updates it also have highlight section where you can watch the highlights of the match.

Hi all,
I am new to Reddit (still getting to grips with it) - just wanted to let you all know that I have written a book on FPL (which was published on Monday).
It is available in both Kindle and Paperback format.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/FPL-Obsessed-Success-Fantasy-Premier-ebook/dp/B095HNRG1C
I can see it. It's a bit confusing imo, you have to switch it to euro mode on the side menu.
You can also use the Euro 2020 app. FF is in that too and the app seems more useful to me as you can follow the tournament there.

I downloaded the "uefa gaming hub" app. It says Fantasy Euro 2020 in the title but currently just has fantasy champions League as far as I can see.
I'm new to it so no idea if this is right, but seems like it could be...?

Hey bro! What's up? Let us know what is bothering you and we might be able to suggest something. The obstacle is the way and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck are two great books that helped me in the past.
I use this 3rd party app on Android. Much better than the official app, never had any issues with saving changes. Developer is very active with updates.
FPL Manager is an Android app, still a few features missing but there's still a lot there like live points, league ownership, live leagues, mini league stats, versus where you can add a bunch of your "friends" and track them amongst other things. Keen to hear thoughts and feedback.
Free 2 week trial so check it out! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.greengloves.fplmanager
Disclaimer: I'm the dev if you couldn't guess by the username XD
The official Premier League app is buggy so we don't use that one around here.
Most of us uses this one - Fantasy Football Manager which is pretty good even though it's not official.
Another dev recently created another app called Fantasy Premiership Manager. It's for less features than the first one but because it's new. It's got a cleaner and more minimalistic interface.
It depends on your taste. I made a couple of requests for FPM and the Dev responded quickly.

It has a watch app that shows the scores, I don't think it sends notifications but you can see scores from the watch face. It's kinda shitty, but it works most of the time
To focus in on Danny Ings as an example. The xG pts I use are after application of a finishing ability calculation- I like Danny Ings but there's no doubt he's seriously overperformed this season. If you look at his background data he's a totally normal finisher and his xG has been normal- but his results have been insane. I would consider him to be decent but very lucky pick. I appreciate it is controversial to say stuff liek that here as most narratives are results driven.
Here's a great book on beating the odds. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Squares-Sharps-Suckers-Sharks-Psychology/dp/1843448580 . There's an excellent analysis in this which created bot bettors which placed random bets. The distribution of results (ie. net gain/loss) from the random bettors matched that of real punters. It confirms a lot of what is known by analysts- most success/failure in these sorts of markets are driven by pure chance.
Barring something extremely elaborate I would really, really doubt most variance from . Is it possible? Yes, absolutely- but more so for people in the know or who invest heavily in trying to beat these markets. For a casual player it would be safe to assume anything unusually good or bad from expectation is probably driven by chance.
It does if you use something like Kiwi Browser (comes with Chrome extension support and a few other nifty things like built-in ad blocker and whatnot).

In the transfer tab you can for example filter the players more accurately and pull down and drag left and right to see their value and what you purchased them for.
You will probably not even need treats! As i said, cats(at least mine) will try and touch the spinning arrow because they think it's a toy(or alive). You could buy one of these
But if that doesn't work, you could make her paw touch it, and thengive her a treat every time. She will get it after 3-4 times.
I was jus looking around, Playstation Vue streaming service will allow you to sign into NBC live app. $29.99 a month https://vue.playstation.com/subscription/plans and you don't even need a console if you dont have one, Playstation TV is $49 https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-TV-vita/dp/B00KVMHSUM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473791012&sr=8-1&keywords=playstation+tv
It has happened to me several times and it's always infuriating (not this time though) and it's been when I've used the official website more than an hour before deadline and so on. The app is 100% though so that's all I use now (the unofficial app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2&hl=en).
