Sadly, you cannot do this in WoL. However, if you want the ability to do this I recommend the program Sc2gears. https://sites.google.com/site/sc2gears/ is the website. Completely free program that lets you do multiple things with the use of your replays. I use it to automatically rename my replays to have the date in them so I can easily see how I progress weekly. Hope it works for you.
The ads that you see at the end of each post is inserted by WordPress for hosting this blog. TerranCraft does not directly get any money from it.
It seems like WordPress is getting more intruding with their ads on mobile. I need to upgrade to a more expensive plan to remove the ads.

> Raven movement speed increased from 3.85 to 4.13.
I really hope that I don't face /u/Ketroc21 on ladder. This is an outrageous change that will do nothing other than make that griefy TvT style even more obnoxious to play against.
mech seems to be huge, there is a shit ton more turtling, terran seem to be very strong, swarm hosts and terran = 3 hour games. terran are also taking a ton more expansions since i last played (2 years ago like you), no seriously, they are taking like 4/5 bases with 2 extra bases with orbital in base. i watched a few of marios videos, here is a link to everything you need to know about anything tho that this guy made into one big website. https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=1A073DA97C9C3B3D!129&app=OneNote&authkey=!AOJs8HwobAhYyHM
there you go: http://www.load.to/ocdou4xZar/TvT_Gas_First.zip
as you can see, my general approach is to stay safe in the initial phase and to scout with my first banshee what he is going for. do not overcommit with your banshees and try to keep them alive. move out with 3 tanks and the rest of your units, including a raven and 2 vikings. that part is very important as it gives you air domination. then go for a contain and macro behind it. in almost all cases you do a lot of dmg and your enemy cant breakout cuz they have no air domiance and going into your sieged up tanks is an instant lose.
the most important thing is to avoid to being seen. if you can siege up his natural unseen he will not expect you and you can siege up / position in time, get 5 rax, a 3rd cc, double upgrades and a lot of units behind it.
so its all about execution but if you do it decently you will win almost every game, regardless of what your enemy is aiming for.
I basically stole that from ForGG, he's great for TvT and has a huge variety of TvT builds, either aggressive (gas first banshee) or defensive builds (reaper expands, 15 gas) with both bio and mech.
I wouldn't normally give this advice, but I think you personally might want to consider playing Zerg for a little bit so you can see how this matchup looks from the other side. We're not invulnerable. Drops are scary. Hellion run bys are scary. Losing a macro queen early is very bad. Getting expansions denied is bad. Getting overlords picked off and being supply blocked is very bad. Money WM hits can be game ending. Drops that abuse terrain really well are a nightmare. If we're on even bases I'm behind. Everything you've posted in here sounds like you just don't understand where Zerg is vulnerable to you. You need to learn where to hit them and how, as well as what makes Zerg behind against you or scared and why.
It's a big time commitment but if vZ is your only problem matchup and it is that bad then I think it would be worth your time.
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." -Sun Tzu, The Art of War
Don't get me wrong, I am dismissing the Art of War as useful for Starcraft. But it's merely a difference of opinions, not a sign of contempt.
The Art of War was written for war by a warrior. Not like some romantic hero you see in a movie, but by a real, pragmatic general whose actions resulted in the deaths of thousands upon thousands.
We are video gamers. I don't really see a parallel, and I do not feel we have the right to use that book to aid our virtual conquests of other video gamers.
This week was super busy at work, so I really wasn't able to do much at all.. this week should be better:
On a side note, I finally found a build that "clicked" and just felt natural.. made it up to elite vs AI, then played two games on ladder and won both.
Have a look at this, learn the timings and how to scout for it. I usually scv scout after finish my barracks, if i see two gas with 3 harvesters in each i put a turret in my mineral line and one at the entrance to the natural. You will have to look out for a robobay, in case he goes for warp prisms.
I don't really play the meta, but I always open single gas into FE into double factory blue flame hellion (1 reactor 1 tech lab), into liberators. I will build the FE at my nat on maps where it's easily defendable, and I always make one siege tank before I get any liberators out. I think it's probably the best opener out there, at least for me. I'm high Diamond right now but an ex masters who took a bunch of time off. Here is a 3 game replay pack, all quick games. TvZ is my best MU.

Typically I actually like when people try to all in me, baneling busts are usually surprised by hellions, and my tank plus hellion support can hold back roach all ins. Takes some practice for that stuff, but it's really strong. You can basically get people to leave outright by the BFH surprise, you do your best to hide your tech and hellions... use your marines wisely (I always have one patrolling the corner of my base where OL's are most likely to come in for a look). On maps I don't feel are safe, i build the CC in my base and wait for my tank to move it out. Also on these maps I try my best to send my first two marines out for overlord hunting, but not too far. Hellions allow you to scout their unit comp, and if they go muta just make sure you mass the liberators and turrets asap, thors if you need.
It can save your replays for you, but I just select 'save all replays' in SC2, and then run a filter on my replays folder in sc2 gears. Shows your APM too which is handy to see if you are getting faster.
It uses 44% the bandwidth which puts you around 1.8 mbit/s. If you had multiple resolutions going you would be fine, but iirc that is only for twitch partners
That's my main build. Here's the BO I ripped from a Taeja game. I think it was Taeja vs Solar. There might be a few minor things off if you want to verify it was the IEM9 Shenzhen finals. Most of it should be pretty accurate though.
I saw this post too and wanted to create one myself. Its a lot of work, but i think its cool to throw all your "knowlegde" down on a mindmap like this.
Only really gotten to work on the TvT part so far. http://mind42.com/mindmap/e74f9c13-42fc-4dc9-99cc-f15b9966b281
Please let me know if something is confusing, would be greatly helpful so that i can improve the setup etc.
Interesting points. I can see what you mean for someone of your skill level (Masters). I wonder though for someone in a lower league, who does not have all the hotkeys memorized if this would be as easy for them.
The other thing that may be worth looking at is the arguments presented in this book: https://www.amazon.ca/Peak-How-Master-Almost-Anything/dp/0670068764
It argues that the best way to learn a complex skill (chess, violin, sc2) is to break it down into small components (how to draw the bow across the strings, or how to split marines) and then deliberately practice those aspects. Apparently this has been shown to be true for decades with increasing evidence and explanation for why this holds true as of late.
Having said this, I wonder about whether the Hotkey Trainer is the "pinnacle" of hotkey drilling. There may be other exercises that are more suitable to training the muscle memory for hitting hotkeys to issue commands. The book argues that not all fields have developed enough to have identified, through trial and error, what the best drills are. Piano and Violin for example have those drills identified as a result of 300 years of trial and error. SC2... being quite new, may not. I personally would love to see a new generation of arcade games that try to use different drills to teach specific component skills for sc2 so that we can see what seems to work best.
It's so bumpy ;_; Check this magnificent bastard
