Now is the best time since it's been free to play for quite some time now and has more players than the last few years too! Only been growing recently so if you were ever curious if you wanted to pick it up or wanted to come back again, there's no entry barrier!
Here's the full Tychus announcement, with writeup.
Looks like he has:
Achievements are shown on the user's battlenet profile page individually for each individual game, so it is available online. Here is mind for example,
Seems like you're being sarcastic, but that's a huge accomplishment. It wasn't until the last few years that AI could beat humans at Go and it's still a continuing challenge for games like starcraft
Very cool developments, I want to play against these bots myself, volvo pls.
If anyone is curious, StarCraft 2 is free to play and has been for a while now! If you were ever curious about getting into the game, or wanted to return, now is the best time to do it!
Nova Covert Ops is a short little romp that gives a lot of context for the Dominion after Legacy of the Void and finally gives Nova her full due in a major game. I highly recommend it.
There's also a wealth of short stories if you want to get deeper into the universe of those games. I made a compilation here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kgvFfyqpUxMqt7twIIubghN9zXG5jJFz/view?usp=sharing
And a ton of free comics that give a lot of context here:
https://starcraft2.com/en-us/media
Also a ton of full books and comics (though sadly not free), but of course that's if you're going more for the story than the gameplay. Otherwise, I'd wrap up with Nova Covert Ops and then join the rest of us in hoping for a return to the universe.

They made it very clear it would not stack in the notes from the beginning. Unfortunately this wasn’t carried into the final patch notes summary.
From my other reply: most things over-time don’t stack so why would you assume this would? Inject is the only “sequential stack” duration ability I can think of right now.
Someone should really have linked the balance update text along with the patch notes, because a lot of people are just "guessing" the reasons for X and Y, when it's all laid out in the official explanations.
rank 8 gm on NA actually but ok
I don't disagree with you but lets keep in mind that Maru still lost a game he should have won on oxide due to missing Rogue's army. He was making tanks that game. The point is Rogue employed some mindgames by using this strategy against Maru, and the EU zergs have not been able to fool Clem at all.
If TvP is that bad, why are about half of the top 50 in NA Grandmaster Terrans ? https://starcraft2.com/en-us/ladder/grandmaster/1

Asia leaderboard is mostly Zerg players, and EU is pretty much even.
Good new, with the upcoming patch...
>SCV single-click selection priority will now be higher than the buildings they are constructing.
Meaning that SCVs can more easily be clicked while they are constructing structures. Full notes here.
Also, on the topic of randomness: I wonder if it would be possible to rotate barracks addons to the opposite side of the building since spawn location determines whether or not the addon becomes part of the wall.
It was changed on today's patch (4.4.0), according to the patch note: > Mutalisk range increased from 3 to 5.
> The Mutalisk's Vicious Glaive will now increase each Glaive's search radius from 3 to 5. It previously increased it to 4.
> The Mutalisk's Sundering Glaive upgrade renamed to the Severing Glaive upgrade. Each subsequent bounce of the Mutalisk's attack now deals 10% additional damage.
The reason for that change was in the Kerrigan co-op mission update (by Monk):
> Mutalisks are challenging to balance for a co-op audience, because like Wraiths, there were initially designed as harassment units to be used in a Versus mode. In addition, both Swann and Kerrigan share the problem of owning another unit on the ground that fulfills a similar role, the Goliath and Hydralisk respectively.
> Our solution is as follows: as with the changes we’ve made to Swann’s Wraiths, we’ll be looking to lean into the Mutalisk’s harassment fantasy as much as possible. The changes we’re thinking of for the Mutalisk are designed to allow players to hit-and-run enemies near the outskirts of their maximum range. Hopefully, when players use Mutalisks in this fashion, they’ll be able to deal massive amounts of damage without taking much in return. That being said, they’ll still be as fragile as ever, so a-moving into combat is not advised!
The decision to give HTs an attack was unpopular among the more hardcore players (at least among the ones who post to forums), so maybe they didn't want to rustle people's jimmies by adding one to every caster.
I think that HTs benefit more from having the ranged attack than other caster units on account of the fact that it's harder to select HTs on the screen, so for players who don't have a separate control group for them, it can be hard to command portions of their army to attack without suiciding the HTs. To me, that is the most logical explanation. There's a strong consensus that this change was made to help less-skilled players, and I don't see the issue with that, but it upset some people.
The 4.0.0 patch notes don't give a developer comment for it, but the devs may have in one of their forum updates leading up to the patch going live.
ITP: Someone who thinks that there is anything to read about how they work.
What we know: Blizzard is releasing paid maps made by a 3rd party. A "portion" of sales will go to the creator. And they're $5 a pop.
That's it. It's not any different from what we've already seen from Bethesda. The devs want to leech money off their community. More so than they already do.
https://starcraft2.com/en-us/media for the free digital comics. Shadow Wars is available as a hardcover. Only the first three chapters of Nature of the Beast were released digitally but it looks like a hardcover of the full series will be available next year.
Dark Horse Comics did three series: Scavengers, Soldiers, and Survivors, which are available in digital and trade paperback form.
TokyoPop did some manga series years ago, Frontier and Ghost Academy, most of which were republished by Blizzard recently and are still in print.
DC/Wildstorm did a short series with a trade paperback but that's harder to find.
Yep, they're parodying the campaign.
>But we also knew this wouldn’t be enough, so we played the campaign to really dig into Zeratul’s identity beyond the fact that he’s a Dark Templar.
>
>Throughout the campaign, Zeratul looked to the wisdom of the Xel’Naga for guidance, obsessed with finding their prophecies. We experimented with how we could incorporate this into his Commander design and eventually came up with the Prophetic Vision ability, which allows players to pierce the void to find the locations of procedurally-placed Xel’Naga Artifact Fragments hidden on each map.
>
>In addition, we were committed to creating a Commander that felt and played differently from his Protoss brethren. To that end, Zeratul’s army will receive unique Xel’Naga enhancements, which should hopefully allow players to see traditional Protoss units in a completely new light. Our intention is to make Zeratul feel like a Xel’Naga Commander as much as he does a Protoss Commander.
>
>Finally, during our playthrough of the campaign, we found that Zeratul had a curious habit of finding allies who were more than willing to sacrifice themselves for his sake. Inspired by this, we created the Legendary Legion calldowns, which allow players to call in reinforcements from other Protoss factions (often to send them to their deaths).

One possible avenue of socialization is... On Starcraft 2 Arcade, there are social internet-based party games like Mafia - which are quite fun from time to time. And I think Starcraft 2 is free.

It's not dancing and sucking smoke (which isn't my personal cup of tea), but it's something. Hope that helps.
Why? Ive been playing on and off since wol and the warp in mechanic was always dumb to me.
The pylon change to make slow warpins slow if not connected to something was one the best changes this game ever had, the warp prism needing to have an upgrade researched to have fast warpins makes it consistent with the pylon change while also putting defenders advantage back in the matchup, something that he pylon change did at the time but the warp prism sorta reverted it.
I find it amusing that the 'history of sc2 units and their origin in bw' article was detailing that DKim and DBrowder were all over the 'simplicity' and condensing units and tech trees...
that must have happened in like 2009 because these earlier builds say completely otherwise.

I really hope that I don't face /u/Ketroc21 on ladder. This is an outrageous change that will do nothing other than make that griefy TvT style even more obnoxious to play against.
> Theres also no value in a paper just showing that an algorithm can master a game. That is very old news.
I would disagree here. Previous results were on two-player (or two-team) zero sum games. We didn't know whether self-play strategies could succeed beyond two-player zero-sum games where playing with a nash equilibria guarantees you don't lose. This was an open research problem which this work tackles.
I agree re:Starcraft, though it seems DeepMind is putting together an agent with tougher APM restrictions (https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/22933138). It's possible they will test this against pros as well. On Dota, OpenAI did defeat OG earlier this year.
They literally made a fucking Starcraft 2 profile for Dva. (and its very obviously not a fan-made thing. Almost 5000 matches and 0 wins, despite all of the races being max level.)
She also has an announcer pack for Starcraft 2.
Her not being a Starcraft 2 pro is undeniably a retcon. Also video games are not real life. Do you think we'll have invented actual sapient robots that will try and to destroy the human race 50 years from now? How about cyborg ninjas that can deflect bullets with a sword? The real life state of competitive Starcraft 2 is completely fucking meaningless in the fictional lore of Overwatch.
I thought it was way easier to get to M3 from bronze than it was to go from 5000mmr - 5300mmr.
I don't think talent plays a large factor in whether or not you can get GM. Might be an unpopular opinion, but I remember times when I thought I just didn't have the "talent" to get masters, as a diamond player. Now I'm top 30 GM. This game is more about repetition and practice than it is about talent.
They're introducing premium arcade https://starcraft2.com/en-gb/news/21700687
Basically some arcade maps you can buy. The idea is that they'll be higher quality and the makers will get some share of the money.
Problem is that it sounds very similar to Valve/Bethesda's monetized mods that everyone hated. The backlash for that was so big they reversed the decision.

KR is BTW 37 % tos now https://starcraft2.com/en-us/ladder/grandmaster/3 and was like this awhile. Yes it used to be Terran dominated. Because most Korean pros played Terran in Broodwar, which then switched to SCII one little fact! And Terran used to be OP in WOL e.g.
Its a very common pattern to stay anonymous in online games and has been used for many years. I.e look at the korean SC2 ladder, its almost all Barcodes.

Actually, that's not entirely true. It was supposed to be last week but it got pushed because of TSL5 - you can't just throw in a balance update right before the finals of a major StarCraft tournament.

While a lot of the art in the banners is from full Blizzard art pieces, and the others in that same chest are from full resolution pieces of art, that one in particular seems to have been an original work for the banner system. I don't remember ever seeing a dark templar full piece like that.

In this video I may have stated Carriers were only nerfed in the interceptor launch rate but I'm not sure if the attack is down as well?
I read the list of the currently proposed changes that apparently lists them all: https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/22564766
Carrier attack change/upgrades is not mentioned but it was mentioned in other notes?
I do apologize if this is misleading.
On the contrary, Blizzard does release some good custom game content (created in tandem with the community, in fact) every now and then. It's a shame Valve doesn't do more to support custom game efforts nowadays after the initial burst of activity back in 2015.
Start is the green "checkpoint" node on the far left, and finish is at the top. Checkpoints are 1, 2, 3. Theere is one 'main tower' and it is the lone tower on the purple +60% area buff. It has a special skill that advances its range and has high starting dmg. However the con is that it can't shoot anything within 8 range, so I "mazed" around that tower and had nearly a 20 grid range area that allowed it to attack the 13 lings that passes through my maze 5 times and takes around a minute to do so.
I didn't win the game, but that maze was beautiful and I thought I should share it and inspire people to check out a game and challenge your brain.

There's another exclusive Ghost skin coming for veteran owners. My point is to have one skin for the zerg and protoss players as well.

Shadow Wars and Nature of the Beast can be found here under comics:

There's also This Sacred Land there but that takes place between LotV and the epilogue.
There's also Evolution by Timothy Zahn which is a full novel and the largest expansion of post-LotV material. But being a novel you're going to have to buy that one.
Dark Horse also did three runs of comics (Scavengers, Soldiers, Survivors) which is in the post-LotV era. But those are also paid comics.
Other than they did a short story for the 10th anniversary that's after Amon's defeat named One People, One Purpose about the protoss rebuilding Aiur:

My poor man's forever scrub view of all the many ZvT matches makes me question the designs of the races when T can jam out so many easy ranged marines and tanks, then micro spread to avoid baneling balls, that cost gas to trade off vs all those minerals.
Drop the judge hammer on me. https://starcraft2.com/en-us/profile/1/1/265345 I get it, and I know there's a lot of skill levels of different players, map dynamics and counters and counters of counters, but why does it seem like terran just counters zerg a dozen different ways till next year?
zerg ride around trying to control the ground with GTG attacks while medivacs just cruise along the sky untouchable, but as soon as you get some, I dunno, mutalisks or corruptors to touch those medivacs, they get manhandled by 9 range vikings and marines, so zerg's like, no I'll just keep doing ground vs air ground.
Sorry.. I went hypertext up there, but that just comes up so much in high level vids.

Look at the main website page for Starcraft. They themselves can tell you. It says very clearly "RTS Real Time Strategy". It's not a 4X.
And real mature with the downvotes people. Jesus.
Also I will be coaching you from my GM account but for reference im currently ranked 92 on the NA ladder with 5.3k mmr. I fluctuate from 5.2-5.6 so that number may change but I usually hover around there. https://starcraft2.com/en-gb/profile/1/1/10358738
You control a spaceship battling through a dangerous galaxy and trying to beat a final boss.
It's a roguelike game, so every run all loot, enemies, hazards, shops are randomly generated.
Many people spend hundreds and thousands of hours in this game, because it has huge amount of variety and depth.
You can unlock a lot of ships. Every one of them feels like a fresh game, offering its own challenges and strengths.
You play as a son of the god of the Hades, got of the Underworld. You are trying to escape and reach the world of living.
It's a roguelike game as well, so there is a lot of variety in character builds and ways to beat the game.
You combine weapons, their upgrades and the blessings of the different gods, trying to get as strong as possible.
An RTS game with an active competitive ladder.
There's a 'total career games' metric on your profile, I believe right below where it shows your league & current season's games. You also see it on the web version of your profile, eg https://starcraft2.com/en-us/profile/2/1/8658629

With the StarCraft II map editor new features and improvements announced on Tuesday, can we finally be allowed to partially recreate Heroes of the Storm on the SCII editor, so we can test out crazy things like 5vs5 Li Ming showdowns or i don't even know what else the community comes up with?

I really really would like to see some crazier variations of our game modes and the mod community is great for this. But I would also like to see them build upon what already exists in HotS and the things we are used to. So I'm sure they could come up with similar types of games, but the coolness of this would come from it allowing us to test stuff with pre-existing things in this game. Anyway, I hope someday we can make the HotS assets available for SC2 map editor.
I have to mention I looked up the Raven on liquipedia and 4.11 was a big swing towards BCs because they were buffed in that patch with jump while ravens got adjusted. This was towards the end of 2019. :)
Checking the most recent patch notes, it doesn't look like Blizzard has fixed it yet. They do fix map issues, as demonstrated by previous updates to Ice and Chrome:
> Ice and Chrome LE
> Fixed an issue where the map info screenshot was displaying doodad selection arrows.
You should file a bug report here if you haven't already. You may also want to reach out to the map creator, which would be themusic246 on TL.
It's gonna be fine, we will figure it out, we are THE SWARM after all.
I'm disappointed for a different reason: the new season marks a return to the conventional map design. Purity & Industry was a mistake, hands down, but I can't be the only one who had some of the best, most intense, sneakest, up & down battles on The Great Wall.
FWIW all the new maps: https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/23429408
I don't know why you'd think my reddit name has to be my BNET ID. I'm around 4.7k but I haven't done my placement match this season yet.

Wat.
origin.com - Madden, Fifa on PC are there. I suggest using a controller - that covers the two sports games you listed.
starcraft2.com - Starcraft 2 is out. The game matches you to players of your skill level. It's free to play. Much easier to control than Starcraft 1. Remember age of empires, that game was relaunched on Steam and became pretty popular again.
counter strike. I can't help you there. You either like FPS's or you don't. It doesn't matter if you're good or not, what matters if you're having fun. Do you want to have fun?

Do note that the entirety of Shadow Wars is free on Blizzard's website:

So this is something I only recommend if you're a collector. It is a very nice hardcover though, but no content you can't get already online.

>When you see biles consistently landing on the Protoss army, you know you're not watching Stats/Classic.
I don't think you can call someone mechanically lacking because they don't dodge biles in one fight (g1 vs impact) I'm sure you could go through a mental check list of priorities in which have a stalker and two immortals dodge 3/4 blies is lower than macroing and focus firing roaches.
>(But I doubt you're capable of civil discourse)
I don't know why you're already throwing shade, the illusion of knowledge is a big problem within our civilization. If you have time read The Knowledge Illusion: Why We Never Think Alone and The Invisible Gorilla. Both good books on the subject.
Mechanics and mental prioritization is a very complex field, I've spent a lot of time reading and learning from others. I don't think many people on this sub reddit (including myself i'm only 5.1k currently) have the qualifications to critique a professional players mechanics.
Just because we can see something doesn't mean we fully understand it.
A co-op balance update was released a few days ago.
Overall goals were improving the ramp up time of slower commanders and improving less used units across the board.
> I have yet to find patch notes since blizzcon
Well, I'm happy to be able to help with that. Here ya go:
Patch notes for the big post-Blizzcon patch
Patch notes for the latest patch
The main meat of the current meta is in the post-Blizzcon patch. The most relevant bits i the latest patch are that it buffed the "Microbial Shroud"- ability of the infestors a tad and reverted the change to Adept Glaives implemented after Blizzcon. The former, however, is not too important as that ability is basically never used.
Details here: https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/23230082

"You can also purchase any of the campaigns or a seasonal War Chest to gain immediate access to ranked play if you desire."That's how Vibe did it, in the previous b2gm dec2108. He bought the campaign, at the beginning of the stream. You can buy individual campaign, in the campaign section. Go where you would normally go to play the campaign, and the game will offer you the purchase.
you got me to dig back into the patch notes to find the place where that was mentionned. Turns out i misremembered it as they said they wanted the adept to be more equal to the zealot in the mid to late game on the shield upgradde that has never been put through
i will edit the main post in that regard. thank you

Opening week (RO16) is in Seoul, it is at the FreecUP studio and is first come first serve. The information is here: https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/23160611
RO8 is going to be at blizzcon which is sold out.
I found the official Blizzard write-up of what happened to Stetmann.
https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/20241140
>Prior to the events of Heart of the Swarm, Stetmann was on a research expedition on Bel’shir. While there, the galactic players shifted greatly during the Terran’s political upheaval, and Stetmann got somewhat lost in the shuffle. Ultimately he was forgotten on his expedition. Total and complete isolation is taxing enough, but add in long-term exposure to terrazine gas and the effects can be… or have been, rather drastic on our poor friend.
This article covers the co-op mission that was added around 2016. The co-op commander is much newer, less than a year old.
Dark my friend you sure love to argue lmao. Here, this is Serral's main account, 13k games played, you can literally see his rank.
Regardless of that, how would Serral (or anybody) reach 7400 MMR in 50 games? If it was a new acc he would start from Platinum at the highest and would have to play like way more games to get to GM.
I don't know what you mean when you say it's easier to gain MMR with new accounts, are you talking about provisional MMR? That's not how that works, Serral isn't gaining 300 MMR for beating 7k players like Showtime/Reynor/Heromarine lol.
If EMP is a strong as Storm, don't you think that's a problem? That ability has traditionally been compared with Feedback, which was nerfed for, I quote:
>When the Ghost’s Snipe ability was changed to Steady Shot, the Ghost lost the ability to instantly kill a High Templar, but Templars remained very lethal to Ghosts. This change should move this relationship to focus more on energy denial/casting rather than outright lethality. Reducing Feedback’s damage also means that Medivacs will also no longer be instantly destroyed, which promotes more multipronged play in late-game scenarios. Against Zerg, this makes Vipers slightly less fragile, which should allow Zerg a few more chances to try and pull apart a Protoss player’s late-game armies.
If the matchup is about energy denial, Ghosts are extremely OP at the moment. And they were OP before as well. Feedback is trash.
Everyone's GM on the internet. No one would go on the internet and just lie.
I got your account from replays you've posted, namely this one: https://starcraft2.com/en-us/profile/3/1/6016409 - So that's account you have for sure. On rankedftw it puts you at 3170 as of May 21st 2019 (season 39).
I'm sure you have several barcodes at 4.8k, and just don't link anything from those when you need help. It's entirely possible you just play ranked occasionally on the gold league account while still playing unranked games (one API says 22 games this season, but hey the API might be wrong) on it.
There is of course https://sc2replaystats.com/replay/10843897 which you linked in a post but which conveniently seems to be deleted. I would have of course gone with the rank of whatever that account is but of course since it's not available that's not an option, just gotta go with the only other account you've linked.
Everyone's GM on the internet :)
> If the zerg player does the exact right things they hold
Well duh. If you don't make any mistakes in SC2 you tend to win. If.
Zerg is easy to play if you don't make any mistakes, just like every other race is.

can someone help me to solve this riddle? on the website, they say there is a broadcast at 9am 13. august. but there was none, because of the whole world that time is already gone forever but gsl twitch stream has no vod. so it the website wrong or do i miss smth? https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/23093842?blzcmp=app
it's playing on eu ladder now, and they obviously don't want people to know that the accounts are alphastar so they just barcode him
this is the article where they explain https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/22933138
and this recent video from lowko is supposedly against, he himself said he is not sure but you you can probably find some other games if you google, i'm not home rn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HqwCrDBdTE
1) this is my profile, not sure what else to give; I don't like bringing up rank in arguments, because that's a "ad hominem" logical mistake: https://starcraft2.com/en-gb/profile/2/1/500485
2) I'm not telling Protoss players they are wrong; at least not specifically. I'm trying to argument as best as I know.
3) I'm not willing to search for replays of games I'm not sure where were played. I'm sure most people do remember high ground openings vs Zerg though, at least if they're following major tournaments. I'm not sure I want to spend more time on this thread though, so I guess "you win"? Zest is a name that comes to mind regarding those openings.
> only 2 days of availability
It was available for 4 weeks. Also, the Nova skin was released earlier in that year together with the Blizzard World skins, before the limited time one and not after.

>For those of you who have already purchased any of the three campaigns as of October 31, we’ll soon be sending you a small thank-you in the form of an exclusive Ghost skin as well as three new portraits.
Otherwise, refunding the difference when things go on sale (or free) just isn't typical to video games, or life, for that matter.
They already had threat, an HT would get hit by auto attack if it wandered forward. Blizzard themselves stated they made the change to make them easier to use in this post https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/20975163
[Hаsu] GeNieS (Aleksey Gasanov) has about 6k MMR and his average APM rarely hits 150, sometimes it's not even 100. You can watch replays with him here.

Also here is review of his games from Alex007 where you can find reasons like "guy has slow PC" and "play smart, not fast". Bonus: he started to play since LotV, so relatively recently.
There are several factors that make teams different from 1v1. The first is arranged team vs random team. New arranged teams are almost always playing players below their skill level.
Taking an average of players mmr in a new arranged team would help this.
Then you have the lower player population and the fact that the matchmaking forces a game after 5-6 minutes. After the queue time reaches a certain point, a master player can be matched with a gold leaguer.
Longer queue times for high level games would help a lot. Master players don’t want to be in gold games and vice versa.
My win rate is ridiculous in teams because of the matchmaking. https://starcraft2.com/en-us/profile/1/1/560403
The matchmaking is definitely different from 1v1. Arranged team vs random team is a big factor. Also with the lower player pool and how the matchmaking currently works, players of a wide variety of skill are put into the same game.
Check out my win/loss ratios for teams. The matchmaking is certainly not making me play against players of equal skill.

I come from a StarCraft 2 background (Masters Terran) and A-click is ingrained in my muscle memory (though this PAOC option sounds intriguing enough to try out).
Also, I like to be able to select things with left-click without automatically attacking it so I can see information.

I normally play 100-200 games a season. 5700+ games total.

This season I am 8-18(30% win) in 2v2. And no sign of dropping a league. When the new league starts, I'll get placed in Diamond 1 again, and be right where I was at the start.
This was my "achievement nightmare" since I purchased the game back in 2013, but after reading this, I had to do it.
My hand is still numb.
Rocket League uses high contrast for color blind mode (source). That could give the impression that the color was shifted towards yellow idea because your red car is viewed as orange.
AFAIK SC2 color blind mode just lets you forces different team colors, it does not shift hues (source). Correct me if I'm wrong there, I play way more RL.
The white claymore, well at that point just make your whole display grayscale. Just messing.
For Guaranteed Twitch Drops (https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/22909227), do the re-runs count?
I watched some great games last night, but watching the stream for 12+ hours starting from 2AM is not really feasible (if re-runs don't count).
They also fixed the polarity bug. It's at the bottom of the page. https://starcraft2.com/en-gb/news/22883350
Fixed an issue where the Polarity mutator would display its icon over friendly units and structures.

Higher I have never heard of. Lower is common due to provisional MMR. Here is the patch that implemented provisional MMR: https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/20166423
I have never seen the bug you are talking about. The only time I have ever heard it talked about is on provisional MMR posts with people asking why their MMR is higher than their league. There was a weird bug for about a week that got leagues messed up, but that can't be what you are talking about, since it has long since been patched, and was quite short lived.
I looked for my profile through rankedftw.com and actually found my profile under different link, and that one is working: https://starcraft2.com/en-gb/profile/2/1/8249477
No idea why the official site leads to 404 though.
>I think people like yourself must be new to Starcraft.
Naw. And most people who play starcraft don't go anywhere near 1v1 ladder, you are massively out of touch with why this game is as big a name as it is if you think cheesing or getting cheesed on ladder is what " makes the it the game that is".
>I believe the explanation text said that it increased Collosi dps by 20% while kiting.
That's very incorrect:
https://starcraft2.com/en-us/news/22372713
> Units with turret tracking functionality continue to face their targets even when not firing. The Siege Tank and Immortal are two examples of units that demonstrate this behavior. With turret tracking, microing a Colossus in battle should feel more rewarding for players and increase the unit’s skill ceiling.
Works the same way as the Exp Hack (to get max level with a race). You just get a ton of exp every match with a friend or dual accounting.
Most achievements aren't server sided, so you can unlock them all with one click if you know the way, but, you'll get banned really fast. Here my old account that I used to unlock every offline achievement, check the date - https://starcraft2.com/en-us/profile/1/2/780855/achievements?categoryId=summary
