If you buy on battle.net it will just get associated with your account. However if you buy here: https://www.g2a.com/ you will get a keycode you can give your buddy.
I bought two copies of WoL and HoTS each this year for christmas from these guys. Worked great.
If you're using Firefox, grab Stylish and install this script I just whipped up.
Let me know if the contrast is ok or if you want something changed.
I came upon the IGN ProLeague tournament mid way through, and wish I could have known about it ahead of time :-\
Today at 8pm EST (Sunday May 1st) IGN Proleague is broadcasting the final round with Idra vs. Kiwwikaki link to finals and bracket link
Hey hey! Good timing, we've just released it in early access on Android! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.pixelsnack.starclash
Please let us know what you think! Thanks and have fun!
I play on a Predator Helios 300 laptop, but the price has gone up a couple hundred dollars since I got it, so it might not be worth it now.
I just updated to a Ryzen 9 3900x and it works great. I was using a GTX 1050 video card like you. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07SXMZLP9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
If you like the processor be sure to confirm it will work on your motherboard. Or you can get a processor/mobo combo package.
You could also get away with a Ryzen 5 or 7 at a lower price.
I meant the speedrun would be 11 missions long if there were no "total missions completed" requirements.
I never actually finished master archives, but here's a decent handful of the missions.
You can use AutoHotkey to remap keys on your keyboard: https://autohotkey.com.
That way you can choose any other key and have it act as if you were pressing the Ctrl key itself. I use it to rebind an unused key on my keyboard to the Alt key.
If you need help with writing the script I can help you out. The advantage is you also don't need to rebind all your hotkeys in SC2 depending on what key you choose.
I got it working just this week using lutrix on Kubuntu 20.04. So far no bugs, but I haven't obviously played it much yet (first time on SC2). I also can't really compare it to windows version, 'cause I don't have windows.
It was pretty simple. The lutris version can be found in https://lutris.net/games/starcraft-ii. Then just install the requirements, check the link within the site. Bunch of packages as well as wine. Needed to add couple of repos, but I could do all from there with apt-get then. Couple of normal libraries as well and finally lutris itself. Finally I selected the WINED3D+ESYNC version from there, since I have no clue as to what is difference between the two. Install button works directly once the lutris is installed. It will then appear into lutris client. In lutris it starts the battle.net client and you need to install SC2 from there. Everything gets installed into the directory you selected on lutris SC2 installation.
As for gaming, Linux works just fine. Only issue is there is very, very few games that will have native version. There are some in steam, some examples could be XComs, Stellaris and Civ5 which I have. In general I have no intention to use wine. Decided to make an exception for SC2 though. (edit: typo fixes)
For me it is straight forward, installed and played on multiple tuxes. I would recommend the lutris launcher, which makes installing a lot easier. https://lutris.net/games/starcraft-ii
Don't forget to install the depencies.
Im using wine 5.7 but most wine versions work. I have dxvk and aco enabled for smoother play.
I never run into any problems with stability /connection. The only issue I observed is that some preview pictures in acarde won't load.
I would check your firewall, selinux /apparmor settings. Also maybe it is a network issue so check router settings. Don't use VPN...
Look in the Linux logs, maybe there is a suspicious entry. In lutris you can try the full debug mode (very very slow) and you can see where it exactly hangs.
Alright this isn't like the best game but it was hard to choose from the 40 games, I thought we had reapers at an okay time, we kept purple from doing anything, all the toss had was turrets yet oranges small army rekt us 3, obviously I could have done tons different and I don't expect you to watch 30 minutes of cancer but if someone could skip through the first 10 minutes even and tell us something?
Well, step one for me was to be totally wrong about something before the OP gently corrected me. :)
Reddit supports Markdown which is a way of adding annotations to plain text that then turn into HTML. For strikethrough, add two tildes (~) to the beginning and end of the section you want to strike through.
Lots of tools & sites use Markdown and often they take slightly different tacks so if a general Markdown reference doesn't work then look for something specific to Reddit.
This mouse is actually very good, and very cheap. I bought one something like 5 years ago, and then it died, bought the same one again.
It has one double click button, and two side buttons.
Also I will be coaching you from my GM account but for reference im currently ranked 92 on the NA ladder with 5.3k mmr. I fluctuate from 5.2-5.6 so that number may change but I usually hover around there. https://starcraft2.com/en-gb/profile/1/1/10358738
Update: The bug is fixed by the August 6th patch. Patch notes here.
>Fixed an issue for the “Contract Saviors” achievement in “The Moebius Factor” mission that caused it to be unearnable.
I don't know why you'd think my reddit name has to be my BNET ID. I'm around 4.7k but I haven't done my placement match this season yet.
The best distro is the one you know, no doubt about that. For anyone in the Debian-Ubuntu universe, the easiest distro I've used so far for SC2 is Pop!_OS. The whole install process (from Lutris to Battle.net to StarCraft) is point-and-click.
I officially start tomorrow. My stream will commence at 1000 EST Australian time http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=47.

Depends on if you are willing to pay, just to see if this is in fact the issue try Hotspot Shield it's a good free one that I know works with servers and should have enough bandwidth for SC quite easily. But I am not sure how close it's servers are to your location so it might increase ping by a bit. The free version will also add advertisements to webpages you view while it is active.
the next expansion i think should be out sometime this year, until that time comes this is available
