Managed to get it to work for 2 purchases: Far Cry 2 and Assassins Creed Freedom Cry.

uBlock Origin is faster and uses less resources. Here is a comparison by the developer, and here is a third party comparison.

Btw you should get uBlock Origin and uninstall ABP. It uses a lot less memory and CPU, and is faster. ABP was bought by an advertising company, and they allow certain ads if companies pay them.

Steam have hourly activation bans for 10 "unsuccessful" attempts (or 40+ successful ones) to avoid whatever. Combining with https://store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey?key= automation scripts, there is no real way to land a "working" key in time as it can be snatched by bots easily.

I can confirm the first Task is cancer.

I used Chrome so quite safe from malicious stuff there, but needed to spam the server halfway to death to get a verify email, then spam it till it verify and then spam the verify button till task turns green.

This would be the link if you want to see if your friend actually did manage to add it to her account. She'll need to sign in and it will show all transactions. It should be it in the list.
