In a rare move, the devs of Tallowmere made the Android version part of the Steam purchase, as a free DLC item :)
You can get its .apk installer from the game's data folder, and/or untick the DLC to save a few MB of space.
edit - here's the Play Store link for anyone interested - in the UK it's over £3 so I guess it must be a $5-ish game Android? Makes this deal even better if you'd use it on your phone.
Tallowmere is my favourite and always seems to get overlooked.
It's a paid roguelike sidescroller with tons of loot. Very unique imo.
For Tallowmere, I provide an "Exit Tallowmere" menu item in-game that calls Application.Quit. Does the job.
One more thing before I go to bed. Sales will most likely be going on until Monday but if you see a game that you been wanting to get before Monday get it. Don't wait for a further price drop. and if it just came out use these apps. Sometimes sites miss sales like Tallowmere which is usually $2.99 is now $1.99. It's an indie so it isn't going to make a lot of noise. But it's fun so go try it. Especially since this is it's first sale since it came out may 13th. Oh and hitman sniper is on sale too.
Any questions just ask. Good luck and don't forget you have a 2 hour window to return games. test them out on Airplane mode and everything to make sure they don't need to be connected to play

The description in the Play Store claims it's a roguelike platformer though.
Hmm.
It's roguelike enough for me anyways, and it's incredibly fun.
Most should work with any Android compatible controller but you occasionally get certain games that only work with certain controllers. An example would be Tallowmere. The dev implements support tailored to specific controller models which he then lists in the app description.

Yes, you can get it on Google Play for $3.99, or on Steam for $4.99. The Steam purchase comes with a free DLC APK file for Android that you can transfer over to play on phones and tablets, in addition to Mac/PC. That's how I have both computer and mobile versions! But I think the Wii U may end up being my preferred method to play it.
Between Steam, iOS, and Android, last I looked a couple months ago, my stats say I've amassed over 15,000 paying customers for Tallowmere since March 2015.
Pre-Steam, I made a website, kept a changelog, posted updates on IndieDB, sold alpha and beta builds on IndieGameStand and itch.io (also sold self-hosted for a while but that was too much work), frequented a chatroom, created a Greenlight listing, was in a Groupees bundle, posted in screenshot saturdays, and did a couple YouTube videos too.
And then I created my Steam listing. Let the listing sit there for a month before the launch date. A couple indie review sites reviewed my game. Launch day came, and the sales were great. The majority of my customers came in the first two weeks of launching my game on Steam.
On my launch date, an old friend of a friend - who happened to be studying game development and living in the same city as me - got word of me launching on Steam and invited me to a local gamedev meetup, and I shared my trailer in front of ~100 other developers that night, so that was strange timing but definitely awesome.
And then I added some touchscreen controls and created the iOS and Android versions. A couple weeks before the simultaneous mobile launch date I contacted a couple mobile review sites; TouchArcade and Pocket Gamer reviewed my game. There's also a long thread on the TouchArcade forums which helped a lot.
It's been over a year since all that peaked, so now my customers bump up by a few hundred every time I run a sale. Apple also had my game in a "Greatest Dungeon Games" feature in some countries which helped.
Going forward, I've got a Wii U version happening on September 1st. I have no idea how many customers will buy a copy, but a few Nintendo-specific news sites have mentioned the upcoming launch so far. Maybe I'll sell another few thousand? Maybe less? It's anyone's guess. I'm also working on an Xbox One port, and I plan to reach out to Sony too.
I believe my game has sold as much as it has due it being a dungeon with blood, decapitation and dismemberment, randomised loot, and decent sound effects and particle effects. Local couch co-op also helps. I haven't paid for any advertising, so it's all just organic goodness. Really it's a small amount of people in the grand scheme of things compared to some of the giant success stories you hear, but it's large enough to keep me motivated to go further.
This year I've also begun working on a sequel so hope to bring in even more players down the line. Game development is tough!
