EDIT: Game is called Command and Conquer Red Alert; you can find it, as well as Dune 2000, and Tiberian Dawn here for free (As in, no cutscenes and music): http://www.openra.net/
And yes, it's free. Hope I don't break any rules doing this.
The Changing of the Ways detailed in the blog looks totally Tzeentchy. Convincing random peons to open the gate or have an enemy faction attack a random objective really fits in the with the whole Tzeentch theme of just causing complete chaos for your greater plan.
Yuumi is a very mechanically intensive champion and has a high skill cap.

The Norscans are coming on August 10th - and they're bringing reinforcements...
To celebrate CA's 30th birthday, we're giving out 30 new Regiments of Renown alongside Norsca for free!
All you need to do is sign into Total War Access on August 10th or any time after and you can fortify the regiments of the races that haven't yet received Regiments of Renown - that's the Beastmen, Wood Elves, Chaos Warriors, Bretonnia and the new DLC race Norsca. Check out Access here: https://dashboard.totalwar.com
Want to see them unveiled live? Tune into our Twitch stream at 15:00 BST (that's one hour from now): www.twitch.tv/totalwarofficial

>We removed Qiyana's ability to jungle back when she was a dominant mid/jungle flex pick in Pro. Her standings in mid have gone down since then, so we're cautiously optimistic about reintroducing her to the jungle.
addressing several comments and points of view here:
1. the fantasy royale emotes were never stated as being exclusive to fantasy royale - the exclusive CRL emote is the goblin kissing the trophy that players got for watching the CRL 2018 finals. THAT emote will never be available anywhere else.
if you google 'fantasy royale emotes' the cached google article even states the following "These Emotes are only available through Fantasy Royale for now, but may appear in the shop at a later time." instead of putting it in the shop for gems, we put it in the trophy road.
---
we gave it out for free to players before, so we did not think that having a free reward in the trophy road that some players may have had before would be an issue.
obviously this thread proves that some players feel differently and we were wrong in our assumptions. we really apologise for that.
we used a brand new emote (royal ghost) a bit further up the trophy road and that is probably what we should have done here as well.
we will be taking this feedback on board and avoid doing this in future.
thanks again for the feedback.
Short Q&A that goes with this trailer release.
Mostly fluff, but the big takeaway is the addition of Classic Mode:
>How does Classic Mode differ?
>Janos (Game director for Total War: THREE KINGDOMS): A big difference is how these iconic heroes behave on the battlefield. By default, we adhere to the romanticised view: these characters can hold their own against hundreds of rank-and-file warriors. They’ll appear as single character units and fight like the heroes from Luo Guanzhong’s epic. In Classic Mode, they’ll appear in battle the way you might expect a classic Total War general to do: they’re only human, and will march into battle at the centre of a bodyguard unit.
>In short: by default, characters in Total War: THREE KINGDOMS take centre stage in battle, helping to turn the tide with their flamboyant Wushu martial arts or strategic prowess. But Classic Mode focuses more on historical troop manoeuvres, where victory is defined by superior army composition and battle tactics.
I'm more a fan of the Warhammer style of generals and heroes so I probably won't turn it on, but my friend is super into historical titles only so he'll probably be overjoyed at not having to deal with Murder Machine Lu Bu rampaging about.
From the new Lore Drop for Cathay
Were gonna meme 'the Celestial Dragon is Jimmy Space' into existence, boys.
Also, the Wu-Xing Compass is totally not the Astonomicon.
If you weren't aware, there a group of people that are actively working on OpenRA. Their goal is to remake all the classic Westwood games for modern hardware using an open source engine.
Currently they have Red Alert, Dune 2000, and Tiberian Dawn. Tiberian Sun is under development now.

The 'New Reinforcements' are an Access Exclusive, so I'm wondering if they're more Regiments of Renown, like the 30th Birthday Regiments they released for game 1
Alternatively... they could be an improvement to the Sacred Spawnings feature of the Lizardmen. Enable the thing in Total War Access & you'll get a bunch more units from Sacred Spawnings or something. Would be a bit weird to put that in an Access Exclusive, but not unheard of.
Though I remember they said they were looking into doing that through their Total War Access thing, but apparently they're not gonna have it ready for launch, if they ever do.
(Sees that it indicates DE FLC LL is coming with the Campaign Pack. Prepare for Nick's memes and complaints again bois).
Welp, guess the Lizzies will really have to wait till their Lord Pack then. I mean personally I'm happy for the DE coming though but man 2019 for both Lizard LLs. Now, Malus or Lokhir?
And something big is coming at the end of the FLC Array with it still being shrouded eh? Then it turns out to be the next Krell!
Interesting that the Bone Giant which is a FLC for a DLC is counted in the array. Would've thought it was reserved for core faction FLCs only.
As for the Warhammer aspects of "what the teams are working on" in their blog:
> Not much to report on from our team following what we said in the last blog: we’re still working on the next campaign pack for WARHAMMER II and it’s still quite a while away.
> What we can say is that we’re deep in the design phase and looking at some new and interesting campaign mechanics…
Welp, not much in the way of hints here except that maybe it's Fishmen confirmed. Deepkin and all.
> No news for the time being from the Fantasy team. Pre-production continues in earnest so lots of discussions, ideas, and concepts flying around in that area of the studio – it’s absolute Chaos.
Now, CA you're just itching to stir up the Chaos fanatics aren't you? "OH! This implies FOUR CHAOS GOD FACTIONS!", while leaving just enough room for people to go "hang on, Dawi Zharr are chaos too!"
Reminds me of the AOE2 cube mod that all of the Finnish players use.

Yeah actually. They said in a post on their website that this month long 2v2 was a test run to see how the players feel about it as a whole. They're looking for our input and definitely want to hear about what you think!
Personally, I feel as though 2v2 has added a completely new and improved play style; this is due to the much quicker pace caused by the increase in troops playable between the four players total. And I love it! When I first started playing Clash Royale, I was drawn in by the fresh gameplay and intense battles, and with 2v2 this sense of intensity and fun has been reborn in a much greater light.
I vote 2v2 becomes a permanent feature with leaderboards.

These are some of the best C&C games and my personal favourites, nothing beats a classic game of Red Alert 2.
As a reminder you can get Red Alert 1 for free still - http://redalert1.com/ or you can try an updated OpenRA that has C&C Tiberian Dawn, Dune 2000 alongside Red Alert 1 as well as support for modern systems and Multiplayer!

Patch notes have all the info you need :)
Everyone should read the blog post: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/total-war-warhammer-3-siege-rework/
It adds a lot of good information that people are already complaining about, including AI changes and minor settlements. I am super excited.
The foundation update mostly brought additional or slightly overhauled skill trees and LL campaign effects to the Old World.
For Chaos it added:
Additional replenishment added to the "unlock techs" (the ones you pay favour for) (5% pre-foundation update. Up to 30% post-foundation update)
Higher upkeep reduction to the horde building (up to 20% pre-foundation update and up to 40% post-foundation update)
It added a "Loot and Raze" option, so you don't need "two turns" to raze a city.
To vassalize the Norsca tribes you only had to beat the faction leader of a tribe, so unifying Norsca wasn't such a tedious task anymore. Awakened tribes were also immediatly vassalized.
IIRC they also fixed that you finally gain some favour from your vassals, too.
The replenishment and upkeep changes allows for a faster gameplay with more armies, since you will be rolling in money and don't have to disband/merge and re-recruit as often anymore.
The "Loot and Raze" option does the same, though I personally seldom use/used it, since you imho gained more out of sacking in one turn and razing during the next one.
They also removed infighting from Chaos Warrior units, so only Marauders suffer from it. This allows for different hordes to stack close to each other and fight together without suffering attrition.
All the changes are listed here:
https://www.totalwar.com/blog/the-foundation-update
nope they made it clear that ME is a bonus for owning both games.

We're aiming to release one new card a month, so our next new card will most probably come out towards the end of September.
We haven't decided what cards will be in the next update yet, but we've been toying around with the idea of the ghost again!

If you're interested in learning more about the civs the official site has more details. As someone who played the beta I had a ton of fun messing around with the civ-specific mechanics.
>It is also currently the most pre-ordered Total War game ever, so we’re incredibly glad that excitement and the support for what we’re doing is building up in the outside world too.
CA have just announced 3K is their most pre-ordered games on Total War, I'm really glad for 3K's success!
I also would like to see Naval battles one day, the cinematic from the Red Cliff''s battle shows that it's possible

No need to loose track, just check out our latest What the Teams Are Working on post. Here's the most recent: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/what-the-teams-are-working-on-07-06-17/
Though that doesn't include what our console team (the guys who made Alien: Isolation and Halo Wars 2) are up to.
I guess this confirms that the second expansion pack about the north has been cancelled? A bit of a bummer, to be honest, but I suppose the new orientation makes more sense.
Reminder from the latest What the teams are working on blog
>As we mentioned in the last blog, we’re currently working on a big feature as the free content update for the next campaign pack for Total War: ROME II, which we’ll be opening for a public beta once we’ve announced the content of our new campaign pack. This helps us to ensure that we’re giving all of you the chance to get hands-on with a new feature that will affect the entirety of ROME II’s Grand Campaign. We’ll be sharing more on this very soon…
>Apart from the Free-LC, the historical new content team is also developing a campaign pack set in a specific location and time period. This particular combination of time and space has barely been touched by ROME II’s current content and comes with a very detailed new campaign map, brand new units, and factions familiar and new. There are also a number of new gameplay mechanics that aim to explore other ways of conducting total war in ROME II.
“When we come back for more on WARHAMMER III – currently we’re aiming at some time in September – we will be lifting the lid on the mysterious and majestic empire of Grand Cathay.”
“With the Grand reveal will come information on siege battles”
https://www.totalwar.com/blog/total-war-warhammer-3-september-news/
To be fair this doesn’t say that sieges will be shown in September explicitly
That sounds like something different. In those quotes, they’re saying that they hired gang members to do voice work. That’s different than being a consultant.
A consultant is an expert that comes in to advise the developers on how to make the game. In this case, they probably gave more insight into how modern gangs work and help avoid inaccurate stereotypes.
For an example, I highly recommend this interview about Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. The original release was done without a consultant, and there were many inaccuracies with how it portrayed indigenous peoples. This interview goes into some of the ways having a consultant helped them better portray them in the rerelease.
CA have confirmed you will get a race pack as part of the 'Early adopter bonus'. If you pre-order or buy the game in the first week you will receive it.
Hey all,

So my complaints are on how the ticket was advertised. The ticket was said to be obtainable from Chest or from pre-registering.
Directly from the news post, "No matter what methods you choose, finding a Golden Ticket will be a rare, special occurrence, so if you succeed, count yourself lucky and congratulations!"
By saying the Golden Ticket is available from Pre-registering, daily chest, and holiday-themed boxes, you're saying the Golden Ticket is a rare item ONLY from these in-game items. The item was advertised incorrectly and everyone who has spent money trying to get the ticket in the weeks past are out of luck.

>We’ve continued to monitor both the use rates and power levels of runes across the system and we think there are some good, targeted changes we can make to the system. >
>- Reworked Inspiration keystones
>
>- Secondary rune balance adjustments
Now is the best time since it's been free to play for quite some time now and has more players than the last few years too! Only been growing recently so if you were ever curious if you wanted to pick it up or wanted to come back again, there's no entry barrier!
I think they have plans for this; there have certainly been suggestions that it's an option:
https://www.totalwar.com/blog/mortal-empires-with-ian-roxburgh >Will any of the Old World Legendary Lords get new start positions?
Not yet but watch this space. Our whole focus right now is getting Mortal Empires in great starting form, which is a massive job as I’m sure you can appreciate. Designing and playtesting new LL startposes is on our wishlist but first things first, we want the campaign in tip-top starting shape and fun from every angle before we start dicking around with it. We have a pretty good track record of tweaking and evolving Warhammer, and we’ll carry on doing that.
Bloodline Champions, this game is in dire need of more players as it is the only thing the game lacks. I will personally give lessons to all interested.
Bloodline champions is a free to play rts style arena game with elements taken from fighting games such as EX abilities and power meters.
edit: keep the upvotes coming doods! remember this game is SERIOUSLY under rated!
Will it be a separate campaign? Will the plagues, bandits and cults also happen in the grand campaign?
Also does this mean that food will be provincial only? > Changed the effects of grain settlements. They now provide food to regions in their current province and adjacent provinces instead of faction-wide.

WHAT IS THE EARLY ADOPTER BONUS CONTENT?
We are currently planning to have Race Pack as the Early Adopter bonus for Total War: WARHAMMER III – stay tuned for all the latest details about this as soon as we can reveal them!

You people just make up fake quotes in your mind to get angry about...
> Lately we’ve been making one non-human a year, but that also included human-ish champions (like yordles) or semi-human champions (like Lillia), as well as creatures like Yuumi.
> "Monster" isn't one of the categories because that's more about aesthetic than anatomy. Aatrox and Renekton are examples of monstrous humanoids, whereas Yuumi is an example of a non-monstrous creature.
I don't know much about Three Kingdoms, but would Zhu Rong have offered the same sort of unique playstyle? The impression I got is that Zheng Jiang was picked more for the opportunity to do something different, as her playstyle sounds quite different in the Blog post here than for her specific character (or lack of one.)
CA has kind of a history of not always choosing the obvious choices, but aiming for factions/characters that could offer the most fun and variety.
All the Best, Welsh Dragon.
Hi u/MidKnight088,
We don't have any plans to change this at the moment, and we intentionally designed the system in a way that meant players didn't have to join every war to get the reward at the end of the season - we know that's not for everyone.
However, for those that do want to war 24/7, the Victory Gold you can earn is quite considerable if you add it all up! So ideally these two systems together result in a good balance of reward potential vs. time commitment needed.
Also, if you haven't done so already, check out the article we published a few days ago tackling this topic: https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/must-read-tips-for-clan-wars
-Tim
I think we should also plug the PC port that has an alpha build available for download right now. Aside from the expected early alpha bugs and hitches, it's the exact same game but with a bigger screen and (arguably) better controls. It even uses the same account, so I got to hop right back in with all the heroes I had unlocked years ago on my phone.
I'm not 100% on these points but I think for all of the Definitive Editions the graphics have been completely overhauled (this is good or bad depending on what you like). As well as including all dlc in one package.
Here is a link with a graphics comparison for the first game. There's probably more information somewhere on that site as well.
If I read the website correctly the big 3 monsters(Griffen hydra and Cerberus) lead their own factions with unique mechanics. https://www.totalwar.com/games/troy/troy-mythos-dlc/?utm_source=Total+War+Newsletter+GDPR+Consent&utm_campaign=6e456e2589-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2021_TROY_MYTHOS&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_94e55c10f9-6e456e2589-63445141
So, yeah, this should be the year. The year of ~~the Ox~~ Hashut.
In case you're wondering, CA has stated they plan on having a romanticized mode with powerful heroes and a "Classic mode" that is more historical.
from: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/warhammer-ii-development-update
The changes to the database structure between WARHAMMER I and WARHAMMER II and the ongoing code and database changes for Mortal Empires made it very difficult to un-tangle the Norsca content, once it had been copied across to WARHAMMER II. As the weeks passed, we realised that it would probably be easier to re-implement Norsca in WARHAMMER II, rather than straighten out the Norsca content copied over from WARHAMMER I. And so, having lost months, we’ve now decided to pick the next point where all the branches are back together (after the next major content update), and then re-implement Norsca from scratch in WARHAMMER II. This won’t be quick, but it is guaranteed to work.
Yes, though currently our focus is on Total War: WARHAMMER III.
We will release a massive combined map that will be a huge free DLC for owners of all three games, and we’ll have more detail later.
Note that you will need to own all three parts of the trilogy through a single store front in order to claim this free DLC. Please see above for details.
This is terrifying, but I guess people who want to finish their campaigns can use the beta version.
Edit: Here it is https://www.totalwar.com/blog/the-aye-aye-patch-notes
" PLEASE NOTE: Due to the wealth of changes in the Aye Aye! Patch, it’s highly likely that any existing multiplayer campaign saves you have will no longer work. If you’re midway through a multiplayer campaign therefore, and wish to continue, we’re keeping the Reinforcement Update (the last major patch) live under the Betas tab in Steam. This will enable you to conclude your multiplayer campaign before updating the game from the Reinforcement Update to the Aye Aye! Patch.
New multiplayer campaigns begun when both players have the Aye Aye! Patch installed will work as normal. Single player campaign saves are unaffected, and any you have from before the Aye Aye! Patch will be compatible with the updated game. "
Fake news flash. They said this last tuesday actually, so 9 days. :D
https://www.totalwar.com/blog/total-war-warhammer-3-grand-cathay-faq/
"Miao Ying is featured in the trailer above, while you’ll get your first glimpse of Zhao Ming next week."
I dunno man, this is from the announcement "We’ve had an open beta over the past few months to identify and correct a few performance issues, and with your help we’ve managed to reduce desyncs by 90%! "
Edit: "AND we’ve added multiplayer restore back in, so if you ever DO lose a match in progress to a desync, you can get it back and pick up where you left off!" This sounds great!
It's hard to make the decision of which Warlord to choose in THREE KINGDOMS without knowing all your options.
Now you can learn more about Liu Biao, the Aristocrat and Gentleman of the Han: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/total-war-three-kingdoms-warlord-legends-liu-biao
EDIT: I swear CA should just pay me to post stuff on reddit at this point.
Also have to say this whole "let's not release a Liu Bei trailer" joke is getting a bit old. All in all he looks pretty good and has a good south-central start, but CA is really in love with the idea that all factions must start with just 1 town at first alla Warhammer, which IMO is a mistake. In sure there were a few rebels in Jingzhou but I doubt he was restricted to just his capital in 190(though he has his vassals further south of course). I swear if CA made Atilla today they'd make it so you started with just Constantinople as the ERE.
> On an unrelated note, they also recently removed the ability to view match history online
This is wrong, and I don't know where you'd get that idea. According to the FAQ that came out with the first announcement, there will be six factions on launch: nurgle, khorne, tzeentch, slaanesh, kislev and cathay.
BLOODLINE CHAMPIONS - Free to play, is like Diablo 2 (Action RPG) + World of Warcraft Arena/Guild Wars Arena. I've played around 1300 matches of this game and I still love it. It's only getting better for me. There are a lot of European players and US players are missing out. The game is developed by Stunlock Studios a small indie college-based game development team. Please give it a shot. http://www.bloodlinechampions.com
I can do one better: OpenRA is a rebuild of C&C: Tiberian Dawn, Dune 2000, and C&C: Red Alert with a fresh engine. It's designed for newer computers and supports anything from multiplayer to mods. They are also working on adding C&C Tiberian Sun and possibly even C&C Red Alert 2. There are many people playing multiplayer, and there are even tournaments. It's also free, easy to install and get running, and is constantly being improved. A year ago, TotalBiscuit did a video on it and it has taken major strides since then.
Tip: If you play this, enable "Pixel Doubling" in the settings. It will make everything larger and easier to see for those used to it.
Edit: Tiberian, not Tiberium (at least in this case).
> Not really a fan of the lord posters so far compared to the game 2 ones.
More information in style of WH2 (with posters, starting positions, skill descriptions etc) gonna be released closer to WH3 release. In the middle of January streamers gonna get their hands on multiplayer build (gonna be lots and lots of different multiplayer battles released), and by the end of January - on actual pre-release build with some limited campaign playthroughs. Last NDA's gonna be lifted off during last pre-release week, basically everything (bar some specific legendary lords) gonna be showcased during that week.
> It's all about expectations
It doesn't help that Eight Princes completely contradicts what we were initially told about "Chapter Packs" being taken from the Romance novel and containing familiar and new faces in different start positions. Which means anybody who's been making educated guesses on the first real DLC probably had all their theories thrown out the window.
> We’ll be taking notable chapters from Romance and creating new start positions that reflect their events. Adding a cast of new and familiar characters, features and objectives each time, that exemplify that chapter and the thrilling stories it tells.
> While you’ll find a selection of new heroes and villains populating each new chapter, you’ll also see some familiar faces from the main game. However, they’ll be at a different point in their life, and are likely to have a very different set of needs and desires at this stage in their journey.
https://www.totalwar.com/blog/business-practices-blog-three-kingdoms-post-launch-and-whats-next/
I am really truly sad that so many people think that Warhammer is the only thing they are working on.
They have two teams. One works on Warhammer, the other works on the next historical title. They are making both games at the same time.
Here:
https://www.totalwar.com/blog/quick-word-on-historical-titles/
"Production for our next historical major release is well underway, as mentioned before, with the team working on all areas of the game at this stage; the game design is locked and asset creation fully underway. We have seen some particularly jaw-dropping character and campaign map concepts that have really pushed the strong visual design of this release."
>I honestly wont be surprised if they don't go back to the old history based gameplay.
Worry not.
tbh the way the described the Dragon Emp/Moon lady kinda took the wind out of the sail for me a little.
They're older than the oldest race (Old ones, who made the Lizard Men for the Great Plan^tm) and they're mega op but chill out in a courtroom or something so they're pretty much likely gunna be about as active as the Old Ones.
I feel like it was kinda cool of the Lizard men to be the last remnant of the oldest group, and it feels weird to have a new faction created to just be "I've got your thing but better!"-ified. Feels a little 'OC do not steal' to me
Link here to the article, in case anyone hasn't looked at it yet
From the FAQ:
> WHAT RACES WILL BE AVAILABLE IN TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER III AT LAUNCH?
We are excited to be able to confirm that Total War: WARHAMMER III contains a wider selection of individual races than any previous Total War: WARHAMMER core title.
> Deep within the realms of Chaos the four Ruinous Powers of Nurgle, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, and Khorne prepare for war and two mighty kingdoms stand sentinel: the stern warriors of Kislev and the vast empire of Grand Cathay.
> We can’t wait to start introducing you to the nine playable Legendary Lords that will lead these races into battle!
Romanticised mode will be the 'flashier' version, wherein the famous names from Romance of the Three Kingdoms will behave very similar to Warhammer Lords - single entity, racking up a ton of kills, extravagant animations, etc... Classical mode will be more in line with historical titles, where it's still just a guy in a large retinue, that might or might not be too much better than mainline units.
This is in addition to other changes between the two that could do with more elaboration
Because it's a skaven AND Chaos thing, and the current expectation is that game 3 is going to bring the daemon armies of Chaos.
>And a final word on the name. We know that not all the empires and characters featured in Mortal Empires are ‘mortal’ in the truest sense of the word. But compared with what may be stirring on the distant horizon… https://www.totalwar.com/blog/mortal-empires
So I'm under the impression you might see the more "godly" elements of Warhammer in game 3. Avatars, Chaos Daemons, and Vermin Lords.
Princesses get only Moon and Star Dragons
Not overly important, but I think a Moon Dragon should be on-par with a Frost Dragon, with a Star Dragon being superior.
And Lore of Ice was usable only by the Tsarina of Kislev. ^^^I'm ^^^sorry
Edit: Megathread here
They are revealing it this Wednesday (19th July) at 3pm BST.
All the clues are 99% guaranteeing that it's Norsca so expect War Mammoths and Skin Wolves as part of it alongside other Norscan warriors. The image with the latest blog post helps confirm it further.
Keep in mind that they reduced the amount of gold chests gave slightly when they released that. Supercell played it smart because many people were happy that they were getting more gold but in reality gold income stayed more less the same. source (BTW scroll down to the balance section to see it.)
Crowns can no longer be earned through Private Tournaments
(you can see all here) https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/optional-update-available.html
this did happen, when the april update dropped.
everybody who has played since the update drop got all of these rewards (from zero - whatever your trophy count is) when they opened the Trophy Road for the first time.
if you played last season but have not updated or played since before trophy road came out, then you will still receive all of the rewards that you are owed.
please check this article here for more info on how season reset and trophy road works: https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/upcoming-league-season-reset-new-rewards.html
If you are not aware of it, OpenRA is an opensource clone of Dune 2000, C&C and Red Alert, it works on modern computer and even om modern resolutions, here is the link:
Enjoy!
Its literally been confirmed since before WH1 came out that there was gonna be three. Its also been confirmed multiple times they've got a seperate team working on historical titles which recently revealed they're working on the so called Saga series of games. https://www.totalwar.com/blog/a-total-war-saga-announce-blog/ for more info.
Would also prefer if you stopped with the toxic attitude and realize that the majority of players enjoy Warhammer, probably more so than they did historical once.
As per your valuable feedback, Cavalier and Knights were removed, since they did not look much different. The mod was also split into different units. It is available as Paladin reskin and Hussar reskin. Alternatively you can search "Sauravt" in mod manager, to get both of these and also the original one (which included Knights and Cavaliers too). Subscribe at your convenience.
Here's the full Tychus announcement, with writeup.
Looks like he has:
There's always been two types of faction DLC with different names. Race Packs are the ones that only have a 'race' and no mini-campaign, and the others (with the campaign) were called Campaign Packs. Source here.
They said they're no longer going to have campaigns in the latter, but will have 4 LLs instead. Race Packs haven't been ruled out as being for sale, though - just the campaign packs are gonna get changed. Source here in the bottom. You'll also notice that when they refer to Norsca they call it a 'Race Pack', and the big ones 'Campaign Packs'. What they'll call the latter now is anyone's guess, though.
Patch 10.2
>1/23/2020 Sett Bugfix
>Sett
>E - FACEBREAKER BUGFIX The ability's range is no longer greater than what the indicator shows

I think Aphelios had a lot of issues and to isolate any single one is unfair.
Yes, his ult was an issue, and his one shot potential was by far the most problematic part of his kit on release. There was also the issue of his infinite range on Calibrum + Crescendum turret.
Despite that, there were plenty of things that people complained about even after the Infernum ratio was nerfed that weren't ratio based, but instead clarity based. A big one at the time was the need to read what Aphelios did as a champ to play against him, i.e. learning the various parts of his kits and spells he could change between at will. Another was the lack of clarity on what his secondary weapon was, when nearly every ability would synergize with it.
In short, I think that being overtuned was a problem, but not the only one; visual clarity changes were something that Aphelios needed, and Riot said as much in the 10.4 patch notes when they showed his secondary weapon and adjusted his ult's visibility.
> Aphelios is the galaxy brain marksman whose kit has a billion things you have to learn, but he's stressing out opponents who can't understand what he's doing and seems to be lacking adequate counter play at higher ranked games. Better clarity will lead to a drop in Aphelios' performance since opponents will more frequently make correct decisions, but we also threw some raw nerfs with a focus on making sure opponents have successful ways to catch him and beat him up.
This seems to show how sieges will work in Immortal Empires. If this is correct, all existing siege maps in Warhammer 2 are going to be completely replaced by these new layouts.
I really like the idea of faction diversity shown through the fortress layouts. It seems like they will play to the strength of each race.
Another part of the blog talks about how a layout used by one race may have markings or details to shown when it has been captured by another race. Like a dwarf Karak that has been occupied by greenskins showing debris/banners/graffiti etc...
> The January update will be more extensive,-snip- It includes, but is not limited to: Campaign balance changes to reduce Dwarf domination in Mortal Empires; -snip-

It's an ASU
"With ASUs, we can fix certain elements of older champions that you’ve given us feedback on over the years—like broken necks and wrists, outdated animations, gameplay clarity improvements, outdated outfits and VO, etc."
No, I'd say it's a pretty big change.
EDIT: And for those that have only watched the trailer, there is even more information in the blog post
Thrones is a standalone game, not DLC
Total War Saga games will be standalone spin-off titles focusing on exciting pivotal moments in history rather than whole historical eras.
there's some more info in this blog from when we announced: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/a-total-war-saga-announce-blog
Title wasn't even a joke found here on bed champion insight.
https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/dev/champion-insights-vex/
Read the blog -- it literally answers a ton of these questions, including about some units being able to attack walls directly and improving siege AI.

As I understand it, in Romance mode Heroes (generals/lords) will be single-unit entities and have some "magical" abilities (for example "Xu Chu – based on his depiction as an indomitable brute with incredible strength, in Romance Mode he has an AoE attack ability called Earth Shattering Strike.")
In Classic mode they will be more like a traditional Historical Total War general, with a bodyguard and without "magical" abilities.
So no to monsters, and "kind of but not to the extent of Warhammer, and largely depending on the mode you're playing" to magic.
This blog post explains more about the two different modes: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/total-war-three-kingdoms-six-things-youve-asked-about-classic-mode
Hope that helps.
All the Best, Welsh Dragon.
Hey! Have you guys heard of OpenRA? It's is a Libre/Free Real Time Strategy project that recreates the classic Command & Conquer titles with multiplayer capabilities! Check it out: http://www.openra.net/
"Also, due to the different teams’ development schedules, Norsca won’t make it into Mortal Empires when it first becomes available – they’ll arrive in a patch soon afterwards."
When I started playing (soft launch), the cannon was 6 elixir.
It was changed in the February 2nd update because it had incredibly low use-rates.
Here's some old gameplay with the cannon
there are also 8 screenshots here https://www.ageofempires.com/media/?filter=aoe2de&section=screenshots
this one shows the Constantinople city of the Byzantines from the campaigns, and it looks like Byzantines got their own architecture now? (or maybe share it with the italians and portuguese) https://cdn.ageofempires.com/aoe-e3/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/ss03.png
No Norsca and Bretonnia (and Chaos Warriors) are Race Packs, they didn't come with their own mini-campaigns ( Tomb Kings exchanged their mini-campaign for 2 more LLs) and they're not titled in the way that the Campaign Packs are (they're just called "Chaos Warriors", "Bretonnia" and "Norsca" instead of "Call of the Beastmen", "Realm of the Wood Elves", "Rise of the Tomb Kings").
This one shows the difference, though even here CA got their Race Packs and Campaign Packs examples mixed up https://www.totalwar.com/blog/total-war-warhammer-downloadable-content-blog
The ogre faction mechanics blog states
>For other factions, Ogre Camps represent a place to bring Ogre talents aboard. Any army that is near an Ogre Camp and is not at war with the owner can hire Ogre Bulls as mercenaries.
I would assume that the red circle version in WH2 will no longer be a thing.
