addressing several comments and points of view here:
1. the fantasy royale emotes were never stated as being exclusive to fantasy royale - the exclusive CRL emote is the goblin kissing the trophy that players got for watching the CRL 2018 finals. THAT emote will never be available anywhere else.
if you google 'fantasy royale emotes' the cached google article even states the following "These Emotes are only available through Fantasy Royale for now, but may appear in the shop at a later time." instead of putting it in the shop for gems, we put it in the trophy road.
---
we gave it out for free to players before, so we did not think that having a free reward in the trophy road that some players may have had before would be an issue.
obviously this thread proves that some players feel differently and we were wrong in our assumptions. we really apologise for that.
we used a brand new emote (royal ghost) a bit further up the trophy road and that is probably what we should have done here as well.
we will be taking this feedback on board and avoid doing this in future.
thanks again for the feedback.
Here is the link to the original post of Clash Royale on their website, providing the reason
https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/were-removing-clan-chest-this-is-why
It was on their website ALL ALONG..
Yeah actually. They said in a post on their website that this month long 2v2 was a test run to see how the players feel about it as a whole. They're looking for our input and definitely want to hear about what you think!
Personally, I feel as though 2v2 has added a completely new and improved play style; this is due to the much quicker pace caused by the increase in troops playable between the four players total. And I love it! When I first started playing Clash Royale, I was drawn in by the fresh gameplay and intense battles, and with 2v2 this sense of intensity and fun has been reborn in a much greater light.
I vote 2v2 becomes a permanent feature with leaderboards.
We're aiming to release one new card a month, so our next new card will most probably come out towards the end of September.
We haven't decided what cards will be in the next update yet, but we've been toying around with the idea of the ghost again!
-Tim
Hi u/MidKnight088,
We don't have any plans to change this at the moment, and we intentionally designed the system in a way that meant players didn't have to join every war to get the reward at the end of the season - we know that's not for everyone.
However, for those that do want to war 24/7, the Victory Gold you can earn is quite considerable if you add it all up! So ideally these two systems together result in a good balance of reward potential vs. time commitment needed.
Also, if you haven't done so already, check out the article we published a few days ago tackling this topic: https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/must-read-tips-for-clan-wars
-Tim
Keep in mind that they reduced the amount of gold chests gave slightly when they released that. Supercell played it smart because many people were happy that they were getting more gold but in reality gold income stayed more less the same. source (BTW scroll down to the balance section to see it.)
Crowns can no longer be earned through Private Tournaments
(you can see all here) https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/optional-update-available.html
this did happen, when the april update dropped.
everybody who has played since the update drop got all of these rewards (from zero - whatever your trophy count is) when they opened the Trophy Road for the first time.
if you played last season but have not updated or played since before trophy road came out, then you will still receive all of the rewards that you are owed.
please check this article here for more info on how season reset and trophy road works: https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/upcoming-league-season-reset-new-rewards.html
When I started playing (soft launch), the cannon was 6 elixir.
It was changed in the February 2nd update because it had incredibly low use-rates.
Here's some old gameplay with the cannon
There actually are tournaments with traditional endemic esport sponsored teams. Believe TSM and Tempo Storm have rosters.
I've watched a couple french lans that had 25 teams of 4. Had pretty decent casting and spectators.
Edit: posted this farther down but it's related.
I personally don't mind watching Fortnite tournaments, the building aspect adds another layer of entertainment and skill cap for players. It's not to boring at all if you have decent spectators. Not to mention people already watch it in mass.
Clash Royal is the same. If the people are there to compete and have sponsors + good viewership how is it not an esport? Not to mention an actual league now.
Both games take different skill sets and have players who rise above the rest looking to compete at the highest level. With people wanting to watch the competition.
What defines a game as being able to be an esport vs not being able to be an esport? Serious question.
Furthermore arguing a game needs an MMR system or competitive mode to be an esport is stupid. OW beta didn't have a competitive mode, were those not esport tournaments? If so what do you think of Super Smash Bros? Is that not an esport either then?
As far as I see it, any game with PvP has esport "potential." Just needs a community that wants to watch players compete in organized tournament formats.
They did? Where? Damn, I've been expecting wars because it's so important in coc now, and they've hinted that they will be adding a tournament interface eventually.
I too was wondering this, so i decided to research it. And the best i understand, it is a "Clash of Clans" Card Game that has soft launched in Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Nordics & NZ right now. It too is made by Supercell. https://clashroyale.com/
Edit to include official website.
>Range Values (all units): Fixed
We fixed a bug where the handling of attack ranges wasn't consistent with different sized units. Due to this the range values will appear to be smaller than before for some units in the next update, but their ranges are all effectively the same as before.
One example of this is when two units with the same range encountered each other, they didn’t always attack at the same time - this has been fixed.
Also, the King Tower's range seen here appears to have been decreased, but it hasn't! And likewise with the Royal Giant, we're increasing his range by 1, but his info screen will show a range of 6.5 in the next update - even though it has increased by 1!

Yikes, no. Clash Royale is one of the textbook examples of this. I think they've changed their tune on this since I quit but just read this blog post.
CR is just frustrating in so many ways if you don't spend money because of the sheer advantage you get when you buy gems. I managed to get to legendary arena no IAP at level 9 or 10 and I was consistently playing people that were 2 levels higher and had cards that were 2-3 levels higher.
Because people will upvote anything that’s convenient for them, even if the information provided is wrong. You shouldn’t judge by votes.
You weren’t promised a Slash Royale, you were promised up to 200k gold from ladder matches, again. The Slash Royale event had this too, but no one promised you 50% on lvl or star points upgrade.
This is my source. Where’s your source?
This is a great resource, thanks for doing this! I was wondering how the lower level Epics would be affected
As I wrote this.. Supercell changed the Tournament rules on ya
Hi u/NewYork54, sorry to hear this! Please join our Clash Nights Discord server here: https://discord.gg/jdDJYKP and poke @Clash Nights Joey (#0719) about the missing 500 Gems - he should be able to get to the bottom of it with you.

Wtf.. I don't even remember them announcing that they removed it. But you're right, they did. I linked the source up top for anyone who cares.
We've looked into this - double and triple checked! - and there have been no changes to Arrows' projectile speed since the March 13 change. They're still moving at the intended +33% speed.
Managed to screenshot it before it was taken down :)
Now it says there's no spoon...

> Barbarians: Hitpoints decreased by 4%
Barbarians are the second most used troop at the top, and are also a bit too strong. In a lot of cases they simply offer too much value for 5 Elixir.
https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/upcoming-balance-changes
Yes there was I remember reading it.
Look under the balance secrion
It was a blog post "sneak peak". Regardless my point is they were very open about it. It wasn't a recently discovered "undocumented" change. Most of us knew about it over a month ago.
Here you can find all the stuff coming in the update. I copied the part you're looking for if you don't want to read the whole thing:
"Even if you're not KL 14, you will be able to play with the Champions in 3 separate Challenges that will start after the update goes live.
Each challenge will contain two parts, and you'll need to complete the first part of the challenge to enter the next stage.
The first will contain infinite retries with great rewards, including 10k Gold and a FREE Book of Cards (from Common to Epic)!
The second part will be regular with even more juicy rewards, 15k Gold, and a new Champion Emote for each of the Champions!"
You can really do a lot with those maxed Knight and Zap and that Level 10 Hog Rider.
Try the Mortar Hog deck as it contains all three of your high-levelled cards as shown in your given screenshot. Here is the link to the deck: https://www.deckshop.pro/deck/detail/669.
If you'd prefer a different deck because your level(s) for one or more of the cards in the Mortar Hog deck is/are too low, here's a list of currently great ladder decks for Arena 12: https://www.deckshop.pro/deck/list/ladder
Do note that there will be a balance update for 8 of the cards on the 4th of June (https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/balance-update-coming-6-4.html) so you might want to tweak or completely change your deck then.
the auto balancing of card drops is a feature that was implemented from the very beginning of the game, not just few months ago. you are clearly talking about this update: https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/our-most-electrifying-update-yet
"Cards at max level are less likely to appear in the Shop and Fortune Chest"
so I did remember correctly
Let me tell you waht the fuck happened to this game.
It was to be expected for any player to reach lv8 with all CARDS at tournament.
Yes when game was released you had to level up all cards to tournament standards gain enough XP to reach level 8.
Which I thought was a clever implementation. O.o boy I underestimated corporate greed.
They released so many new cards in such a small span of time without increasing gold or chest that it is just impossible to level up all cards to tournament even when you are lv 10 now.
They literally crossed their own words
They said in a post on their website that this month long 2v2 was a test run to see how the players feel about it as a whole. They're looking for our input and definitely want to hear about what you think!
Personally, I feel as though 2v2 has added a completely new and improved play style; this is due to the much quicker pace caused by the increase in troops playable between the four players total. I vote 2v2 becomes a permanent feature with leaderboards.
They did add "tournament rules" for friendly battles, so once you get towards the "end game" you can practice regardless of card levels. Unfortunately the card level is still common level 8, rare level 6, and epic level 3 which they roughly estimate to take a few months to acquire, but from that point on the only real point to level cards is to compete on the trophy ladder, which f2p don't even have a chance at.
https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/coming-soon-clash-royale-update
This chart shows whether the interactions between the Mega Knight and all troops in the game will change after the Balance Update (6/4). Blue indicates one less hit is required, red indicates one more hit is required, and white indicates no change despite the changes. Charts are separated by Rarity.
A few important notes:
- Buildings (too many variables) and flying troops (for obvious reasons) were not included.
- This is not reflective of actual in-game situations, as it is solely based on stats. For example, the Ice Golem may take an additional shot, but with the tower's assistance this won't matter.
- The Mega Knight begins to deal less damage after the 4th hit, including the jump. Without the jump the MK deals significantly less over time.
- The Valkyrie's health has already been changed according to the balances.
If I missed anything, please let me know! I try to make these charts as accurate yet basic as possible.
No, you need iOS 9 to play... iOS 8.4 does the same thing.

edit: no, the particular image that is the subject of these comments is not the same image as on the CR page. This one has a yellow back arrow above the executioner's icon, as if it's in a deck-building screen for a special challenge. I wonder where it's from.

>Additionally, we deployed a change to the Trophy system on 8/15 to work in conjunction with this. Before the 8/15 change, climbing from 0-1000 Trophies would always grant the winner more Trophies than the loser lost. We increased this threshold to 2000 Trophies. Note: After 2000 Trophies, the Trophy win/loss ratio is 1-1.
However, if you look at the direct image, it shows the Tornado and the Skelly Army as 0/20 as well. The outlier here is the Ice Spirit, with 1/800.
Were have you been in the last months :P ?
Since August 29 the trophie reset now is 4000.
https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/seasonal-trophy-reset
In other words, you will not gain legendary trophies until you reach 4k.
It's like when Supercell did not add a mute option in Clash Royale for emotes because it evokes strong positive and negitive emotions.
A couple weeks later they added the mute function.

The Electro Giant -4% HP
They did implement that recently. It starts off only searching for players your king level. Then after like 5 seconds it searches for someone 1 level higher or lower than you as well.
the longer you wait, the broader range of players you can face....this is why you matched up against higher KT players after a long time, explanation here
you cant drop arenas, that is one incentive not to drop

if you face maxed players, it is because your king level is too high. proof here

CLAN WAR PARTICIPATION CAP
The amount of unique participants from a Clan who can participate in a Clan Wars is now capped to 50 players per 24 hours (every War Deck refresh).
If you try to attack in a Clan War when 50 members have already attacked that day, you will receive a notification that you will not be able to attack.
WHY?
Some extremely (some could even say impressively) organised Clans were using a loophole to cycle hundreds of players through a single Clan and reach the Finish Line in record time. Obviously this was not fair on others who were not using this ‘strategy’ and therefore it has been removed.
Sure! It all started with a video, in the description there's the link, here are both links.

The update came out today. This blog post is from 2 days ago. It's really not surprising, the game's had low system requirements since release and with all the content that's been added they were bound to rise.

"Ageism" is huge.
Here's one I ran across this week. Clash Royale (Clash of clans spin off) is looking for an e-sports tournament host/analyst and you must be 35 or younger to apply: I get the 18 but I'm not sure why someone that is 35 is qualified but someone who is 36 isn't. I get they may be targeting a younger crowd, and I totally get it's their option to pick whoever the heck they want, but why tick off all the older guys dreaming of e-sport announcing by excluding them from even trying:

Yes they did. https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/epic-quests-update look at the fourth point.
What is 5k gold when upgrades cost 50k, in the end game? Don’t rebuke this by saying that there’s level 7s, 8s, 9s where the 5k is a lot because it’s a fact that the majority of people lie between 3.5k and 4.3k. 5k gold is nothing. The gem rush is nice, however, it needs to occur more. Both do.
Good concept, bad execution. Best thing about the event on April Fools was that it was quick and easy crowns.
There are 4 new cards coming after summer. Look by yourself: https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/update-sneak-peeks-7
Also I don't know much about competitive but I think you move to some city to play the first rounds
It was potentially slightly unfair at one point only because you could see their elixir bar, not the cards in their hand (you can see what cards are in their deck, after they play them). This was patched in the Nov 1st update.
> When spectating a friend, the opponent's Elixir bar is hidden
spells in general were the original strong cards cause they did 60% crown tower damage.
Then x-bow, tesla, both princes and princess.
Then mortar and bomb tower (and elixir collector, although this was the case for a while starting around this time). Then RG and hog/freeze and ledoot.
Then Goison (shudder), payfecta, mega minion and ice spirit (also inferno because of this).
Then for a while their weren't really any OP cards (you could argue lightning but it naturally left the meta) and the meta was diverse until 12/15, when elite barbs happened.

Sorry that I will be a bit out of topic first. I have always wondered why the July Balance changes for Giant Skeleton has not been 'fixed' or clarified.
Giant Skeleton at tournament level still does not one shot Goblins (159 per hit versus 169 hit point on Goblins). Some has said that Goblins in the balance patch text refers to Spear Goblins, but Giant Skeleton was already one-shotting Spear Goblins even before the 20% damage buff.
Balance patch text: https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/balance-changes-coming-7-4
"Getting to the enemy’s tower is quite challenging for the Giant Skeleton - as it should be - but at least with this change he’ll be one-shotting Goblins on the way."
Tagging /u/clashroyale for this.
Back to the topic, I agree with you that playing Giant should be more risky but at the same time increasing it's elixir cost to 6 is too much. Maybe try decreasing Giant hp around 4~6% first. For Giant Skeleton, a further damage buff (one-shotting Goblins) would do.
the win loss isnt the same. people who win gain more than the opponents lose if they are under 2k

It appears the developers agree with you somewhat:

Tesla: Hitpoints decreased by 5%
- A small hitpoint reduction will bring the Tesla more in line with our overall "offense over defense" philosophy. It currently offers a bit too much defensive value for 4 Elixir.
Combat Mechanics: Troops will be harder to distract
- Troops won't be pulled from their lane as easily by buildings; buildings will need to be positioned a bit closer.
A client update would be a game update.
The next game update would be April

Asking for less toxicity then immediately has responses like this.
This is for your edit the game always had toxicity even back in 2016, hence people begging for a mute button. Also you had maxed or nearly maxed players dropping down and trolling players. You have a nostalgic view on how good 2016 really was. So as I said earlier it was possibly even more toxic back then.
https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/emotes
Now stop with your hypocritical posts where you are trying to farm karma
They were considering people were asking for a mute button for years, but Supercell refused for a long time. Just read this link from their view from 2016 of why they didn't want to do it. Would people be asking for it if it wasn't considered toxic.
A video from 3 years ago? 😂 Let me refresh your memory: https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/balance-changes-dec-2020.html "Due to its ability to almost always connect to a Crown Tower, Skeleton Barrel is currently very popular on mid-ladder for what's supposed to be a niche card."
My dude, what you're talking about was before rework!
Reply to the Poison/EQ claim: I'm quoting this from the Clash Royale page which has the summer 2021 updated/rework! These are the Furnace changes:
"Now spawns 1 reworked Fire Spirit
2 extra waves, now every 7 seconds
Lifetime: Reduced (-2%)"
The 2 extra wave along with the increased hp of FS now do not allow you to get rid of the Furnace perfectly! I myself used to kill the it without any damage before the rework!
Reply to the Range attackers claim: I don't think you've played against the reworked furnace because any ranged unit other than Tesla, Wizard, Magic Archer and Drat Goblin gets hit by the new spirit! The first attack speed of Musketeer was reduced after that Furnace/FS rework, leading to it not doing well against furnace! So unless the furnace is planted closer to the bridge, more often then not, Flying Machine, Musketeer and Executioner take heavy damage before even reaching the bridge! I've done the math and experiment on both tournament standards and level 14! It's the added hit points and the increased jump radius of the Spirits that leads to this issue!
The page from which I quoted which will have the Spirit rework as well: https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/summer-update-balance-changes.html
Ah I actually found some info on their website. It seems that the pass is "maxed" at Arena 7+. The rewards they mention here are the same as the ones in my pass.
There where no emotes for sale at that time.
They wanted to keep it because they wanted the frustration and rage fuel the feeling of"getting even" by upgrading the deep. " Strong emotions, both love and hate" as they claimed
https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/matchmaking-changes.html
That’s exactly what the system attempts to do…
At your trophy lvl you’re not going to find many lvl 12’s. Sorry man, you’ve hit a progression wall
It's the extra cards from past upgrades, rather than compensation they're giving you back the cards you wouldn't have spent if you upgraded now (This)
You get some aid, for each lvl 13 card you have they are giving back 14 legendary, 160 epics, 550 rare and 2500 common cards.
You also get some cards back if you have lvl 12 cards. https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/king-level-14-cards-compensation.html
I remember OJ’s video. I also remember how this post mentioned the colosseum as nothing more than “Only playable in the Final Week, players can earn bonus Clan Trophies through Colosseum Duels.”, that’s why I was confused by his reaction.
The blog post where they revealed evoking strong emotion is a core design principle.
It's why they initially refused to add a Mute button, and, if you read between the lines, why they create such an imbalance state between cards and never a true equilibrium in the 5 year history of the game.

Also, we should never forget Drew's immortal worfs when he tweeted that SC never releases intentionally toxic Emote.
>It was three long years before Supercell finally introduced the mute button
Wasn't mute button introduced in fall 2016? Permanent mute-button 2018.
Edit: https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/rethinking-emotes September 2016: Coming with the next update, players will have the ability to mute their opponent during each battle. Since we still think it’s important that Clash Royale doesn’t feel like a single player game, you will see your opponent trying to communicate, but without any of the specifics
I use emotes very rarely. If I play with friend 2v2s I might use them for him/her.
In 1v1 if I win I stay silent, if I lose I might say well played. Not everytime tho, most times silent.
I don't mute emotes either, it's fun to see opponents spamming all kind of things and trying to figure out message what s/he is trying to deliver.
Poll didn't have fit option for me "I don't mute, I'm not bothered by emotes"
Everything I agree except Electro Giant is weak against Buildings, I will add a reduction of his massive pull or decrease in health.
Now about the witch. I am in midladder and a Witch buff is not something I want to see, like the wizard she is everywhere, you will see either a Wizard or a Witch behind a MK. Some card are meant to remain bad in High ladder or competitive or else they are broken and will be seen everywhere, Witch and Wizard are the perfect example [see what the developpers say about ranged attackers with Area Damage](https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/developer-blog-reverting-executioner-witch.html). Witch counters many troops: Prince, Pekkas, even MK and Valkyrie if you do not put them on her and the longer she is in play she becomes more powerful. A rework will be better. Witch is not played in High ladder because of its cost (midladder do not care about this) and is overshaddowed by Night Witch. The witch is good in beatdown but her high cost compared to NW means NW will always be chosen. She can still be paired with Giant or Goblin Giant but Giant is weak rn and GG is better with Sparky. Maybe a decrease in Elixir cost as a start.
Wrong. They changed the war matchmaking in february. You now face people with a +/-1 level difference.
To make the matchmaking still fast, the difference increases by 1 every 20 seconds. February changes
War matchmaking also works on a hidden ELO matchmaking that basically means everyone gets 50% winrate on the long run. If you have a high winrate, you'll get opponents that also have a high winrate, this way your winrate drops.
It was obtainable through "Fantasy Royale - CRL World Finals" Nov/Dec 2019

https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/matchmaking-changes.html <-- matchmaking changes

above 5k all the above are null and void, except for trophy based matchmaking
Is within the matchmaking parameters. Looks like it must have taken a while to get a match:
https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/matchmaking-changes.html
Cancel and try again if it goes beyond 5seconds.
you can still match against level 13s for 2 reasons:
1: You are above 5k, this is special because of the matchmaking changes
2: matchmaking changes (you can match against ppl +3 KT levels to -3 KT levels)
From https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/november-update-1.html:
We have improved Clan Wars 2 matchmaking to consider more Clan performance factors and make sure that Clans of equal level and activity are matched together in River Races.

That means, clans are matched by clan trophies and by "activity". We don't really know, what activity means, but it's probably related to the number of players who participate in clan wars.
Therefore yes, throwing out members, who participate, but don't use all of their decks, should help with favourable matchmaking.
On the other hand, if you primarily care about winning weekly races and getting good rewards you could just as well lose in Colosseum and drop clan trophies, instead of throwing out clan members.
This here.
I mean, SC themselves said they out Emotes in the game to get emotions from people so yea, straight from the horses mouth.
Its called gamesmanship, exists in sports or all sorts of anything competitive. You play games with your sibs or friends, pretty surr therecs banter and trash talking. Difderence is we know these people so its all good afterwards. But letcs not kid ourselves about why certain emotes are in the game.
I don’t think you’re disagreeing with me.. just confused why I got linked here. For reference, my post is specifically about how the game does matchmaking, which is 100% taken from this dev post back in feb 2021.
https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/matchmaking-changes.html
As you said, but in more layman terms, the idea that the game is “out to get you” by intentionally matching you against people who have an advantage is just absurd, and untrue. Matchmaking is based on trophies (bracket) and tower level. That’s is. Card level isn’t factored in as you could be an all-rounder who levels all cards, or a specialist with only one high level deck. That’s why people get mad, but it’s really inevitable at high enough trophy counts.
A reply 3 months later. Wow!
Coming to your query, this change was reverted back in January. Few days later matchmaking saw this change. That's why you're seeing them in Challenger 2
Sorry for my very short comment - the point is, that since last February no level 9 (King Level) must ever be matched to a level 13 (King Level) in Clan Wars. If you have any evidence of such a matchmaking this would clearly indicate a bug in the system, see https://clashroyale.com/blog/news/matchmaking-changes.html
Actually it should even be near impossible for a King Level 9 to be matched to a level 12 or even 11. Of course, it is still possible, that a King Level 10 has level 13 cards and is matched to a King Level 9 with level 9 cards. However, this should improve over time, if people continue playing.
By the way: do you really have level 9 players (King Level?) with a high Clan Wars 1 ELO? How is it possible they haven't upgraded yet to at least level 10 or rather 11? I created my secondary account only after Clan Wars 2 was introduced and upgraded it to King Level 11 months ago (100% f2p).
I don't really have a strong opinion towards or against level caps. However, I'd expect the only difference it would make, was, that people would start complaining they were matched against "overskilled" players instead of complaining they were matched against overleveled players.
So what do you want? Same thing is told here: https://clashroyale.com/blog/release-notes/balance-changes-dec-2020.html
Same info was also in in-game news tab back in December
Do you need personal e-mail and postcard and weekly reminder that first update is about progression? Or do you just want to be crybaby?
The exact nerf you propose has already been done. In a sense, you requests have been met.
Another reason why Graveyard, also Miner, are so strong is because of a meta full of strong defensive cards like Knight, Tornado, Hunter, Bomb Tower and more. As the meta has become so defensive, the best way to win is to bypass defenses altogether. After all, you cannot kite a Graveyard.
This is also why conventional win conditions like Hog Rider, Giant and Battle Ram struggle to survive in this meta too, there is too much defense to break through.
Yes this game is extremely toxic. The devs actively encouraged this too. This subreddit says sticking your head in the sand with the mute button solves everything but that silences all communication, not just bm. I find what helps is realising BMers are literally or figuratively 12 years old . I gg wp everyone, all you can do is hope they grow up one day.
Apparently, the emote will be available throughout Season 21. Each creator can only host 10 tournaments though, so they definitely are limited to some extent. You'll need to act fast before creators burn through all 10 of their tournaments, so you shouldn't wait till the last second

According to the balance change notes from December, it says
> "We are planning for our first update of 2021 to feature an overhaul to progression"
Take that how you want to.
As for this
> A free game that has been so successful solely due to Epic deciding they wouldnt charge up front, and would instead invest in the game itself and charge for cosmetics
You realize that this was a massive risk right? It was something which was foreign at the time. Of course it panned out and really helped out F2P players, but CR's system of progression was a standard thing at the time. Its natural to use revisionist history to make a point, and yea it sucks really bad that CR didn't implement it then and hasn't rehauled it like that, but acting as if that was the norm ~5 years ago like it is now is just outright false.
