> Lately we’ve been making one non-human a year, but that also included human-ish champions (like yordles) or semi-human champions (like Lillia), as well as creatures like Yuumi.
> "Monster" isn't one of the categories because that's more about aesthetic than anatomy. Aatrox and Renekton are examples of monstrous humanoids, whereas Yuumi is an example of a non-monstrous creature.

I think Aphelios had a lot of issues and to isolate any single one is unfair.
Yes, his ult was an issue, and his one shot potential was by far the most problematic part of his kit on release. There was also the issue of his infinite range on Calibrum + Crescendum turret.
Despite that, there were plenty of things that people complained about even after the Infernum ratio was nerfed that weren't ratio based, but instead clarity based. A big one at the time was the need to read what Aphelios did as a champ to play against him, i.e. learning the various parts of his kits and spells he could change between at will. Another was the lack of clarity on what his secondary weapon was, when nearly every ability would synergize with it.
In short, I think that being overtuned was a problem, but not the only one; visual clarity changes were something that Aphelios needed, and Riot said as much in the 10.4 patch notes when they showed his secondary weapon and adjusted his ult's visibility.
> Aphelios is the galaxy brain marksman whose kit has a billion things you have to learn, but he's stressing out opponents who can't understand what he's doing and seems to be lacking adequate counter play at higher ranked games. Better clarity will lead to a drop in Aphelios' performance since opponents will more frequently make correct decisions, but we also threw some raw nerfs with a focus on making sure opponents have successful ways to catch him and beat him up.
It's an ASU

We've seen junglers have a bit more control over games, in large part due to their increased purchasing power early game turning into combatstats, which then accelerates their experience and gold growth. We’repulling back on their experience and income a bit to compensate. As aresult of these changes, we’re holding off on nerfing some borderline OP jungle champions until we see how these changes shake out.
There are some op junglers what do we do?
A) Nerf those junglers
B) Nerf whole jungle exp to nerf those OP champs
they opted for B so i guess that OP junglers become OK junglers and OK junglers becomes USELESS junglers xD
(ok they also say that in general junglers get more exp than other lanes but if there are two problems why they solve only one?)
Yuumi's mastery curve compared to Akali, Qiyana, Neeko, Willump and Mordekaiser.

Actually we're all out of howling abyss right now. Sorry!
However, if you'd like to buy 10 League of legeds for the price of 10, Buy here! www.buylotsofLeagueoflegedshereHorray.com
Sorta.
What they specifically cited was not Yuumi in comparison to other supports, but in comparison to the following champions:
Akali
Qiyana
Neeko
Nunu & Willump
Mordekaiser
Of these champions, Yuumi's Delta (more specifically, winrate per # of games) was comparable to Akali, or Qiyana, as opposed to Neeko (Starts higher winrate, peaks sooner), Nunu (Peaks faster), or Mordekaiser (Starts higher, peaks higher sooner).
Unfortunately, they never actually compared her to another support champion, just 2 assassins, a mage, a tank, and a bruiser.
The same article said that Yuumi is difficult because "The things many players have associated with playing League well aren’t being tested on her—like positioning and moment-to-moment dodging—but new things are," and listed the following examples:
Identifying when it’s safe to hop out and use her passive in chaotic teamfights
Identifying who you should attach to because you can’t support more than one person at a time.
Weaving Q around targets that aren’t who you’re trying to hit (which is, quote "a more simple but still unique skill test."
Managing vision control while being the slowest and squishiest champion in the game.
Which are... frankly weird conclusions to draw, when the arguments focus on there being a tradeoff for being invulnerable, and suggest that the following are unique to Yuumi:
Know when to auto without dying
Knowing who's carrying you hardest
Knowing how to land spells
Knowing how to ward safely as a squishy champion
Yuumi is a very mechanically intensive champion and has a high skill cap.

It was in the notes for 11.20 https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/game-updates/teamfight-tactics-patch-11-20-notes/
the feature is called TACTICIAN SCOUTING
I was believing that Riot turned down all the changes requested by the community in Dawnbringer Morgana, as they were reserving a surprise, a wonderful prestige skin for Morgana. On the skin level: True Damage Senna Prestige or Spirit Blossom Teemo; even Ascended Pantheon Prestige is better than this Morgana skin. What a disappointment! What Riot presents is a golden chroma for a 975 RP skin, it's horrible. The Warwick's tail on Morgana's 975 RP skins is still there. The horrible gold color present in the worst prestige skins is still there. Riot promised: "Morgana (for a previously released 975 RP skin; the Prestige version will have additional features relative to the base to ensure it's equal value to the Prestige versions of 1350 RP skins²)"
Where are the changes? That's just a golden recolor, a chroma for a 975 RP skin.
Where are the floor/bat effects Morgana had while walking across the map? https://youtu.be/7urngkHVxSQ?t=29 Those effects/bats were removed during the rework, now that it's a prestige/mythic skin¹ they should, they have to come back.
Warwick's tail has to come out, we need a dress adjustment as was done in Majestic Empress Morgana, that's what I was hoping for when you guys said "additional features relative to base to ensure it's equal value as Prestige versions".
E is a simple recolor, needs improvement;
The W is disgraceful, uses the same shades of purple as the 975RP skin with shades of gold needs changing!;
Even the recall is the same, Riot hasn't changed anything, this skin is lazy. It's not worth buying, we're getting a lot worse content.
Prestige skins are mythic tier¹ or 2450 RP if I'm not mistaken. This skin needs improvement to be at least acceptable.

It was just the old model with some tweaks.
Funny post, but I’m seeing a lot of comments that mistakenly think the lore explanation for Golden Aegis is magic. If we look at Jarvan IV’s page on the LoL website, the description of his ability, Golden Aegis, makes no reference to magic.
“Jarvan IV calls upon the ancient kings of Demacia to shield him from harm and slow surrounding enemies.”
Side note, I think it’s neat how they translated those effects into LoR :)
Anyway, it seems clear that the source of power for this card is ancestral spirits, not magic.
I agree, but again, this is intentional from Riot. IIRC they named these completely-non-human champions "creatures", because things like Yuumi don't really feel like "monsters". They believe that the playerbase is so skewed in favor of human champions that they want to release a lot of them, and so they don't have many opportunities to release creatures, and the few they release have to include both monsters and other things like Yuumi.

Are there any plans on expanding or exploring other continents of Runeterra? I just want to see a world beyond Valoran, Shurima, and Ionia. I'm so curious what the other continents look like!
As of right now, we’re working on the understanding that the “known” map of Runeterra represents about 1/6th of the world. We’ve still got plenty of those three continents to fill out and define, though—the map is nowhere near completion, yet.
In terms of adding new lands to it, it’s not something we’d ever rule out, if those lands are proven to exist. But it would likely require us to actually set more stories outside of the three continents, and thus far that is something we have not done.
But we definitely do know of events that have taken place outside of the known map. Many of the oldest civilizations in Shurima came from a westward cultural migration, meaning that there are (or at least were) much older civilizations in unknown lands far to the east. Neeko’s vastayan tribe, the Oovi-kat, also appear to have suffered some sort of catastrophe in fairly recent times, forcing her to flee into what is now known to be Ixtal. It’s also very likely that the original homeland of Hecarim, Kalista, and Ledros existed somewhere else, since there is no clear indication that this kingdom continued to exist anywhere in Valoran, after the Ruination of the Blessed Isles.
Are any of these things linked? Right now, it’s impossible to say… but we will continue to explore them, and who knows where that will take us in future.

In preseason some champions or items can be super strong but they try and get everything balanced by the start of the new season.

In one of Riot’s latest /devs they actually said the majority of Asol games are people trying him a couple times then moving on. link it’s not mostly mains playing him. They also touch on how even mains shouldn’t have a super high win rate on their one tricks.
Gonna hijack this to mention that Yuumi is objectively hard to play and takes time to master. Source
i personally have always said yuumi is one of the biggest bullies in botlane, if not the biggest, competing with the likes of zyra, as long as the player isn't a dumbass and maxes q. her passive cd in 11.18 also made her extremely oppressive, she has shield up so often that trading with her is extremely difficult.
the really only unplayable lane for yuumi is something like alistar who instacombos her if she gets out. yuumi can do really well into the leona/nautilus type lanes if she maxes her q. it seriously does so much damage, and you aren't missing out on much healing as long as you're building moonstone (shurelyas is troll)
small tip for yuumi players: don't level anything at level 10, once you hit 11 you can max your q instead of having it maxed at 12.
give it a try, participate in a lane as yuumi and you'll realise how fucking annoying she is.
https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/dev/ask-riot-autofill-in-ranked/ Not necessarily directly, but usually attempted autofill vs autofill in general. At least one autofill on each team is what they claim they TRY to do. This was minimum two years ago and they would have had plenty time to balance out by now.
As far as main roles vs main roles go, they claim to have had a 90% of people getting main roles. This was only recently ago. So they SAID they saw numbers as high as these this year, but my experience is not even nearly this. Still they CLAIM to have worked on it to get it to such a high degree.

I actually think Shaco is pretty likely to get an ASU. Reading this post, it sounds like Shaco is exactly who they’re describing.
The only move that’s changeable on Shaco without killing his identity is his E, and even then I can see a lot of mains being unhappy. He’s also one of the oldest champs with very few voice lines and next to no lore. ASUs were made for champs like him.

>We hear those of you who want to (re)experience past PvE modes like Odyssey: Extraction and Star Guardian: Invasion. We've talked in the past about how interest in these modes dries up once the novelty wears off after one or two matches, and after five matches, players aren't really getting anything new out of the experience. Replayability in PvE modes takes quite a bit of development effort—and it’s something we’ve even spent significant time researching and developing—but we haven’t yet arrived at a clear cut solution. For these reasons, we don’t have any current plans to bring these modes back.
They're working on a PvE with League characters, a dungeon crawler, and Riot Forge no doubt has more than that. But that's where they belong, as apart of the League universe, not in the client and a dedicated mode.
Just as a heads up, if they keep the system at least somewhat similar when they revamp it. They usually post which ones are events and which ones are "prestige points" outside of the end of the year sale.
For example, you could see here that the upcoming Brand skin will be tokens during the event but points at the end of the year too!
This event ends on November 8th (hover over the token icon on your Loot screen). The placeholder loot will be added during patch 1.21 according to the support article. This event spans 3 patches (we're currently on 1.19, and Bewitching skins go live in 1.20). The expected Prestige skins are Nightbringer Kayn (available now for event tokens), Bewitching Morgana (for Prestige Points), and Volibear's Dragon-themed skin (for event tokens). Brand is slated to be our final Prestige skin for the year as an event token purchase (not in this event).
From Riot themselves: https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/game-updates/prestige-through-end-of-2021/
It's going to be part of the Night & Dawn event, he's going to cost 2.000 event tokens. You can buy it later with 100 prestige points, but without the border and the icon that comes with the tokens.
There will be a shop in December (probably in ~2weeks, same time as next patch) with all Prestige skins of 2020+2021 for 100 points, and various loot bags for other prices.
As for the Kayn skin, as it is a "event-specific" skin, then buying with prestige points will not grant you the loading screen border or Summoner icon.

Bro, go here to look at the list of champions, then take a look at ults Neeko can't use.
Say Galio. Wow you just Galio ulted to save your teammate, now quick do Neeko ult to kill everyone. No, nevermind, you no longer have Neeko ult. So you're just some random squishy mage who Galio'd into the middle of the fight to throw out one Q and one E before dying.
How bout Hecarim ult?
Zed ult? Jarvan? Kayn? Kled? Malphite? Lee? As Neeko you can't throw a chain towards the guy you just kicked away. Yasuo? As Neeko you can't afford to sit right on top of the guy you just Yasuo ulted, you're a backline mage, not Lissandra.
She'd be dogshit. Dogshit and boring. Even with the ults she can somewhat make use of, she'd be a shitty champ compared to Sylas.

They've striaght up said it's never going to happen. They believe that showing off skins is a main driving factor of purchases.
There was a Riot post sometime ago that addressed the Prestige skins topic - according to Riot all 2020 prestige skins would be available by the end of year. I will add the Riot post link if I can find it.

Wow, it's amazing how wrong you are. Privacy? What the fuck are you talking about, nobody needs ring 0 permission to steal data from you. Epic store launcher was going through steam data(you can google that controversy) without any ring 0 shit.
No reason to add this to any game? What about cheats that already run with ring 0 which anticheats without permission can't detect? This is the most obvious thing to do, not everybody can be like valve and throw stupid amount of money to create anticheat artificial intelligence
Saying that genshin impact is single player game is hardly accurate, there is multiplayer component. You can disagree that games like genshin shouldn't have microtransaction but right now it's a important part of the game. So developers cant just allow someone to use cheat and activate all achievements which would give player equivalent of some real money, that's actual lost for them.
Riot developer made easy to read article about ring 0, I would recommend reading it
https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-pl/news/dev/dev-null-anti-cheat-kernel-driver/
And to not be too positive about ring 0, developers can easily fuck this up and introduce some problems to your computer. Iirc valorant anticheat would slow down every game on your computer which is not ideal for sure
The only thing I'm counting on is a post riot made about 6 months ago, stating that they are re-working prestige skins and gem stones and youll be able to aquire a prestige skin over a long period of time without having to buy it. I think they called it the "mythic overhaul". I tried to message lol support about it but they they said that "they cannot talk about speculation or upcoming games". Here is the post I'm talking about
Overall, I haven't lost faith yet (ik there's a chance to reroll) so yeah! Hope this helps!
Well I'm glad you asked, friendorino!
In the September 2021 Champion Roadmap riot mentioned the next two champions were going to tie into Arcane. The second's decription reads as such:
>Money runs this city. Technology, power, people. All can be bought when you have enough cash. Technology to reach out and take what you want, discarding it like trash when you're done. Power to turn your enemies against each other, watching them kill the very ones they swore to protect. And people to manipulate with your terrifying charisma, sending them to almost certain death, only being saved if they fulfill your wishes.
>In the end they will know your name, the one that truly ran this game, the one calling the shots… the “support.”"
So there's no confirmation, but "Power to turn your enemies against each other, watching them kill the very ones they swore to protect" seems pretty on the nose to me.
I don't think it is, the end credits don't list Ekko at all, and the hoverboards would seem to fall in line with the teaser we got back in April. I mean, if it is, that's cool to, but considering the new champ is from Zaun, it'd make perfect sense to tease them in Arcane.
Arcane does not have a battle pass. However, there is still a yet-to-be announced Brand skin that will have a pass.

>League of Legends is a team game and teams win or lose games together. We don’t want to impose an arbitrary system of rating players on performance because then the best way to beat that system would probably be to get good scorelines, rather than helping the team win.
>We want to reward good play that ultimately leads to a win, no matter how small their impact may seem. Supports sacrificing themselves to save their ADC, tanks zoning three enemies in a teamfight, or assassins diving the backline to blow up the carry are all examples of plays that may not make a great statline but help get the W. Some champions have unique playstyles (think Singed/Nunu) that would be tough to measure, and their mains may not be graded appropriately based on their play.

At least once or twice in every run?
I don't think it really matters because it's a single player game at the end of the day, and even with challenges the ranking doesn't really mean anything... and tournament have rules so you have to play by that.
This topic came up a while back in the StS Discord and people got weirdly tied up and aggravated in how it's the "wrong" way to play and one should never restart combats. Again, for god's sake, it's a single player video game.
I personally see no issue with it, whether it's me or someone else opting to do it. It's not like you're using a cheat engine to predict enemy movements in a competitive game where game ranking that can translate to monetary value.
Morgana's prestige skin is cited to be worth "Prestige Points" instead of event tokens. There still exists "New Prestige Skin - Coming Soon" which might be for the next in line skin under the "Event Prestige" list.

I'm very calm, and way better at backing up and proving my point, compared to your "It HaS boW iN iT!1111!!!1!!!"
With the new system every 12 hours you go 1 penalty level below. It doesn't fully reset everyday like it used to.
If you are penalty level 3, 24 hours after you will still be penalty level 1 rather than 0.

no, he's difficulty 1.
Either way, he is defenitely not a difficulty 3 champion. He is 2 at best.
Depending on your circumstances:
Queue Dodging FAQ: https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201751844-Queue-Dodging
Just find the table for the relevant queue, they aren't particularly copy-paste friendly.
More context on queue dodging: https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/dev/dev-tackling-queue-dodging/
Declining too many queues will also get you a timer, but I believe that one is shorter and you have to decline quite a few.

>he final Prestige Point shop has been moved back to December, when you'll have access to the full set of 2020 and 2021 prestige skins (five more than if we had run the shop next month).
It does say
>The new system will include a way to, over a long period of time, unlock a Prestige skin without spending any money.
But it never says you can unlock OLDER skins with the system.
You're totally right.
It seems like because China's votes were legit 33/33/33, they decided to do all the skinlines.
I wonder, Fortnite was banned like yesterday in China right ?
Imagine if LoL was next down the line. I can't imagine how Riot would react ngl.
Last year, we shared our goal to deliver one champion per role each year, with the exception of mid lane where we target two—one for assassin and skirmisher players, and another for mage players. We planned to continue that this year, but sadly it looks like we won’t get there. Both of the champions we planned to release towards the end of the year were originally meant to tie into an event, but as development went on it became clear they didn’t quite fit. We felt good about both champions’ directions and didn’t want to change them to fit in with the event, so we decided to stay true to their characters. As such, we’ll be releasing the ADC early next year and the support a few patches after. We’re not sure how this will affect our schedule for 2022 yet, but it’s possible we may release an extra champion next year. We should have a better idea by the next Champion Roadmap and will share more then.

Both teasers are piltover and zaun so I couldn’t see anything that doesn’t scream Arcane since it’s the only big event left for 2021
https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-gb/news/dev/ask-riot-delete-yuumi/
Sorry though this was common knowledge seeing as it's been mentioned on the forums under practically every yuumi thread.
Though, I don't know how much validity I'd put into this considering it's a dev post about how yuumi is hard...
https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/game-updates/preseason-2022-pbe-preview/
For preseason, they are changing it to be a stacking effect. Each stack gives you some attackspeed, and at full stacks (6) you get bonus range. The wording says that the stacks are generated by attacking champions, so I figured I would test if it worked with abilities that apply on-hit and on-attack effects.
Idk sounds like they’ve backtracked to say prestige skins are just scenarios that COULD happen in that universe after prestige pantheon they said so in this ask
If I remember correctly the shop will be opening up back up around the end of the year, after they changed it from mid summer, so hopefully you will be able to get it!

Ah.

He does vary from trolling to legitimate, the most recent one Riot actually made a post on to demonstrate Yuumi's skill cap being healthier than Akali's skill cap.
well riot accounts are region locked so thats not possible but they recently made rp price changes per country
"Brazil, Latin America, Russia, and Turkey will see increased prices due to exchange rates and tax changes. "
>Basically, all I need is a quick: Q - damage + heal W - move speed +, attack speed buff. E - fear + dmf red R - suppress + damage + heal
I mean, would this info really help you to decide whether you can 1v1 this champion if you have no information about the cooldowns, scalings and other aspects of the abilities and the champion in general? Overall, getting to know the champions is just a really long learning experience. I can recommend you to always try out the champions in the free weekly rotation in the practice tool in order to get to know them.
I can't think of any source that provides exactly that. For quick ability rundowns, check the official League page (https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-gb/champions/akali/) and for more detailed information, check the wiki page (https://leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Akali/LoL).
He most likely meant the prestige edition since he's all blue like Papa Smurf. And the prestige edition is not canon as shown in this article.

@ /dev: Balancing New Champions
Quote - "It takes time for players to master new champions, which is why we used to release new champs and VGUs slightly strong as a form of training wheels. This approach had some serious drawbacks, so ever since Fiddlesticks' update in 2020, we’ve started releasing new champs and VGUs at what we believe to be their long-term balance state."

A new "skinline" for tft, but maybe it will also come to lol? They have different "elements" and I had to think of Vex when I read this: "It’s lonely being the most powerful element, but it sure feels good knowing you are. Darkspark Inktales channel the colors of moody storms, and the moods of stormy tweens. You just don’t understand them yet."
That said, it's pure speculation, at the moment Pentakill Vex sounds the most likely, followed by maybe Nighbringer
Oh you're good man! You won't even have to buy the 100 Prestige points box for 2200 event tokens, you'll get 25 Prestige Points from the Event pass itself from quests. So you can spend your tokens on other stuff :)

Support teased here is like an 80% chance of being silco. Makes sense with a silco-jinx botlane
I think there might. Riot teased an upcoming support champ that deals with money and corruption on one of their Dev announcements. I can totally see Silco fit that role. Not to mention he seems to have his own growing fan base

>We have plans to make a new creature champion in 2022 since it’s been a while, the last one being Yuumi. While it made sense to make a cute creature like Yuumi since the game was lacking in cute creatures, we want the next one to be on the darker side. This doesn’t mean we’ll do a full creature every year, as they are pretty niche, but we do want to make more non-human champions going forward.
It gives 9% and that in fact is a lot if your pokemon already has base cdr, for example gardevoir has 25% cdr at level 13 + 9% cdr from items you got 34% cdr. Heavily slept on imo.
In League they changed cdr a bit and explained why they did it and it explains quite well why 9% cdr is quite a lot:
>Currently, CDR’s power stacks exponentially so the more CDR you get, the
more valuable it becomes. For example 10% CDR is 11% more casts, while
40% CDR is 66% more casts, and 50% CDR is 100% more casts.

Just because people call him Donger doesn’t mean it’s his name, ever thought that people just cba to call him heimerdinger every time
It came out at the start of the year.

Nixie, although I can see why you thought Shisha. There’s a couple gifs shown here if you wanted to see them in motion.
You can buy either skin at the year-end prestige point shop for 100 Prestige Points. There will be one more event this year to earn 100 PP.

seethe that yuumi is a high skill ceiling champ https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-gb/news/dev/ask-riot-delete-yuumi/
she was played like 4 times, where are these posts for shit like braum who is one of the most contested picks in pro play history?
Senna has many choices when it comes to itemization:
There are a couple of niche builds as well, I've seen people mention about trying Grasp and build Locket for a Tank Senna build after Frostfire nerfs (although I've never tried it out myself) and also a moonstone into umbral glaive for the utility/healing
I would suggest you do some testing to see what suits your playstyle =)
All prestige skins from 2020 and 2021 will return at the end of year shop (end of 2021/early 2022). This includes event skins (but event skins won't have their border/icon).
Other comment listed all the 2021 skins, you can find all the 2020 skins here: https://www.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/game-updates/prestige-2020-end-of-year-2021-updates/
