Came off as a pretty crazy challenge at the time, when they were both at Derby, but now...
Well at Mase's age Lampard had 4 caps to Mount's 16, and his first tournament was when he was 25...
Mount keeps his consistency and he could very well surpass Lampard's cap total.
>I've always felt that in a couple of more years Oscar will be just as important as Neymar if not more
Funny you mention this because 2 years ago, I feel that Oscar was the more important cog in the Brasil team. Back when he was wearing number 10, he was often the best performer of the team, despite Neymar commanding all the attention (which is understandable I guess). Things have changed a bit recently, and I believe some of the blame has to be put on the fact that Oscar has played basically year-round since 2012. The fact that he can still run around and cover every blade of grass every game is astounding to me.
Chelsea fans are funny with Oscar. He is a bit of a scapegoat at times, and is someone that people are quick to point out if he's not performing well. But then when he does something amazing like that goal yesterday everyone's back on the Oscar train. He's a subtle player, but if you watch closely he's very brilliant. He's just not a flashy playmaker type and doesn't rack up a lot of assists so people get frustrated and underrate him a bit in this age of FIFA type stats. But he's still young and he's a truly great talent, and he is the perfect piece for this Chelsea team (unlike Mata :/).
Here's a great video of Oscar from a cup game earlier this season. Pat Nevin does a great job breaking down the plays he makes his overall contribution.
You google Acestream which will lead you to this website.
Then you download and install it.
When a game is on and you have found an acestream over at r/soccerstreams, which is usually a long key like: Acestream:908a7sd986as9d6as6da68s7d68as, then you copy paste that and go into your program and click the far left menu, which I can't remember the name for. You should be able to find a "Stream via network" or something and you click that and a pop up open. There will be a bar that is name "Insert acestream key" and you just paste your key in and prees play.
Wanted to start reading more, as usually even if it was assigned for a class I would try to find other ways around reading it (online summaries, sparknotes, etc.) so I bought some books (Les Miserables, 1984, Think and Grow Rich, and some economics/investing/business books). Man have I been missing out. I just can't stop reading I'm encapsulated by the themes and stories in the books. Plan on getting both the Drogba and Mourinho books for Christmas. To anyone who has never gotten into reading or has been on the fence, I strongly recommend it
Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I'll definitely check some of them out, you can never have too long a list of things to read!
What a game! Guus Hiddink shows what a tactical genius he is after winning the first leg 3-1 at Anfield (the night Ivanovic destroyed Liverpools zonal marking tactic). In the second leg, after letting go of the lead, Guus made some early, bold changes and saved the tie. In the end it's so sad he never got to manage Chelsea through a whole season (because of the Russia job). Two of the best matches I've seen by Chelsea. It was an emotional roller coaster after coming back, twice!
They’re not in the first 4 choices for their positions- here’s the link to the full results. Was surprised at where Barkley came to be fair
Thanks for everyone that helped! You can see the full results here: https://forms.office.com/Pages/AnalysisPage.aspx?id=xEculd4FgkKDr19LRrFij-3YV0cmvuxHnS3OkL5orm5UM1FSMklJSU1aNklRVFg5TDNLNjBJWDdQVy4u&AnalyzerToken=vXO38hYqpOFaHfogSg1wm7IkkFn9rrlF
I removed Higuain from the results due to unknown clauses in his contract.
KTBFFH
For everyone that's asked it starts at 16:45 UK time. For everyone else HERE is a timer you can use!
This was taken from the Chelsea fc blue revolution doc which was a behind the scenes, amazon-like doc that was done on the club between 2004-2007. By far one of the best Chelsea docs out there. Can be downloaded in full in the 'Chelsea documentaries' file here, definitely worth a watch.
you can change your location with Zenmate addon for chrome.
Or you can go to /r/footballhighlights and click the monday night football. go to the pre match coverage and skip to around halfway or so (iirc) until you find it.
Its well worth the watch.
Just a quick update on allcounted.com. it's being flagged as as a phishing URL by Kaspersky Cloud Protection. I'll try to get more information from them.
EDIT: Seems like it could be a false positive. Email sent to Kaspersky. Will keep everyone up to date. Also, since it's flagged as phishing url, it means that as long as you aren't providing your email, full name or address, you should be safe. For safety measures, I recommend everyone to get uBlock Origin.
EDIT2: It seems the general webpage itself is not blocked: www.allcounted.com. This means that only the surveys are being scanned as phishing. I am assuming that the heuristics cloud service is thinking that the survey is asking for personal questions, which it isn't since we've been doing the surveys with the same format and without asking personal questions.
EDIT3: Ran it through VirusTotal.com and it shows that only Kaspersky marks it as unsafe. URL. Everything should be fine. I'll update again once Kaspersky sends an update relating to the url.
Looks like the game will be streamed free here. Don't even need to use Hola/TunnelBear
As per this article
It's a Timex. Not particularly expensive but it was the first watch that I ever bought for myself so I've grown quite fond of it.
To Be Fair, You Have To Have a Very High IQ to Understand xG data. The tactics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of these tactics will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Conte's analytical outlook, which is deftly woven into his managerial style - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Sun Tzu literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these tactics, to realise that they’re not just genius- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Conte truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the deep meaning behind conte's existential catchphrase “we have to keep working hard and improve,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Tzus’s Chinese epic The Art of War. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Conte’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
Honestly Drogbas is one of the worst. It's not bad or anything, but out of all the ones out there it's the lowest ranking. That's primarily because it brought almost nothing new to the table. Bit annoying but hey ho.
I recommend the other ones mentioned already. Bobby Tamblings is probably my favourite (plus mine is signed :D). It's even better if you know the player already but most on this sub won't, but I still definitely recommend it.
Definitely suggest Diego Costa: The Art of War if you love Costa too.
Haven't read it in 10 years but there's also the Chelsea Biography which looks at the first 100 years of the club.
Just a heads up for those who want to record yourself while gaming or footy streams OBS is the best free software for it. Also if you are using acestream to watch matches you can record it directly using VLC player"s inbuilt function.
I just loaded up a Chelsea tv stream and used OBS (best software for recording computer stuff), just look on youtube for some guides on the settings you want. pretty much all the streamers and GIF guys use it
Btw, here's a link to Chelsea high-res pictures: http://sportgfx.com/english-football-images-20/chelsea-football-pictures-images-photos-25/
You've gotta register on there but it's worth it. Usually comes a few high-res pictures after every game. Some of them are just scaled crap-quality pictures, but there are some good ones on there as well, like this one: http://imgbox.com/adjl0Hv9
Just for future wallpapers :)
/r/soccerstreams is a good place. There will almost always be Chelsea game there and usually in very good quality. If you want to do it legally you could go to Premier League Pass and pay about £9 a month to watch every Premier League game in HD, although you'll need to use something like SmartDNS to access that if you aren't in New Zealand.
No problem. This is where you will find any news on when those tickets go on sale.
https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/latest-news/all/all/news-type_Tickets
I personally set up a "website watcher" where it would push a notification if any changes were made to a certain page. It makes things easier so you don't have to check everyday.
this guy ive bought from a few times, you can buy long or short sleeve, home, away, or third. free shipping
Maybe it's not minimalistic and might not be what you're looking for as these are more suited for mobiles and tablets, but I made these last year based on some of our kits - reminds me that I need to do ones for this year as well

If anyone decides to use them, let me know what you think
Not Australian, but i'm here to help.
The game is at 4:00 PM GMT which is 2:00 AM AEDT (your time). Source
Not sure about channels, but if you're unlucky and don't have the channels that the game will be broadcasted on. There will be streams posted in match day threads on /r/soccer and /r/chelseafc. If those don't work for you head to ronaldo7.net where they have list of several streams that will be posted 30 minutes to match start.
Hope that helps
It's not a mistake.. The official site refers to the team as "The Blues" in several articles/places. On Wikipedia, they list "The Blues" and "The Pensioners" as nicknames.
Even the freaking Encyclopedia says they're called the Blues. http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/1111160/Chelsea-FC
I'd put the shadow a reverse of the true image with transparent-to-white gradient, in case you care for a stranger's opinions
Edit: like so
YoutubeTV is made for chromecast, it is owned by Google after all. You even get one for free after first month.
Here's the Channel lineup : https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
Looks like Sling is better suited for you though, has all the channels you asked for + chromecast support
Well it's pretty much stream that uses the torrenting algorithm. You download it from here and it starts streaming.
The streams have different qualities, the one I linked required 1500kbps download and as much upload as you got.
I got the link from wiziwig.tv
If you are on IOS download this VPN called TunnelBear, create your free account, you will get 500MB for free but after that you will have to pay for more, set the VPN location to UK and then try playing the video. Or I can download the video and send it to you, just send me a PM how I can send you the video.
I actually have that book in my Amazon cart at the moment! I'm currently in the middle of Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Great book so far in my opinion. I believe it would be similar to Thinking Fast and Slow. Only halfway through and I would recommend it, great book if you're interested in business/economics, or in general. Just take all the times money is mentioned in the book and replace a goal that you want, same concept applies. You can get it here on Amazon for $4.50
Some of the ones I have currently are: Think and Grow Rich and The Intelligent Investor. I plan on also buying: A Random Walk Down Wall Street, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Irrational Exuberance, Beating the Street, and a lot more. If you search up one of them on Amazon it should lead you to all the others
The shit from spurs they bought his flight !
Play store link: Relay for reddit
Match of the day highlights for the game
Full highlights of Chelsea matches here
Was thinking about doing this for my CPU cooler, it currently has my dog on it though lol.
Clean build - put a miniature soccer ball or something in there too! I have a mini Chelsea team bus inside my O11D-XL that came with this.
That’s an irrelevant point. No disrespect. This is a conversation about what Russia is doing. Not That I support what America is does but that’s a different conversation.
I’m a pacifist and generally opposed to our pro war policies as well as our useless, bloated spending on military shit as our infrastructure continues to crumble. But again, different conversation.
The Argument You’re making here is a “what about” argument. The Point of “what about” arguments are to deflect and obstruct valid conversations.
This is a very basic logical fallacy. It is the kind of thing kids do when they get caught by their parents. “But ____ did ____!”
Heres the wiki
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whataboutism
and heres a fantastic book for crafting arguments.
A Rulebook for Arguments https://www.amazon.com/dp/162466654X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_T5YXF696BMWE4SR6DKYA
That’s seriously good shit, way better than anything I picked up in law school. Being able to identify bull shit arguments is a 10/10 skill.
Are you aware of the CFC Toronto Supporters? Its an official group sanctioned by Chelsea. Every matchday they meet up at Scallywags at Yonge and St. Clair. Here is the FB group. Its a great bar, I've been going their a handful of times a year for maybe 5 years now. Heres more info https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2442751307
That's heaps interesting. Made me think of something to search for. Came across this. It's dated, but there's some interesting insight into what the youth team may experience as far as developmental training.
https://www.slideshare.net/mobile/PedMenCoach/chelsea-fc-development-centre-programme
I'm for sure no expert at all on this topic, but sponsored videos don't seem to be factored in?
From the article:
The data was compiled by football tickets site <strong>livefootballtickets.com</strong> which ran the top 20 football YouTube channels from a YouTube ranking through <strong>Sellfy.com’s YouTube Money Calculator</strong> .
Sellfy calculates potential earnings via Adsense revenue based on a channel’s CPM and estimated earnings from selling merchandise, using data from Sellfy’s e-commerce platform.
Got all my numbers from https://www.fotmob.com/ as a quick look. Thinking on it now, it probably is including all games for that team including cups. Sorry, for misleading I guess I should have said goals scored while playing for their current Bundes, PL, or Serie A team. As far as Tammy goes, that is including Swansea.
Quality content! I may not agree with all the point but you make very good points regarding statistics and using of Kante by three different manager.
In my opinion, Kante is still learning his new role and previously when we thought that he is only a ball winning midfielder, he proved us wrong. This season we can see that Kante can dribble and attack spaces. In Napoli, Allan used to play in the same position as Kante and he was used to win possession in the final third. Kante has done this exceptionally well and he is actually 3rd in the PL in winning possession in the final 3rd. (Fotmob source)
This winning possession in final 3rd is crucial to this high pressing. Most of the time the pressing is not consistent and we suffer due to negligence of one or two players. And also when you add high press with possession based style you will see tackling stats going down, winning possession in final 3rd stats going up. You can see Man City stats as they are 1st in winning possession in final 3rd whereas in tackling they are 18th, we are 2nd and 15th respectively. (Fotmob source)
Regarding Conte and Sarri season, well I can only say one thing that it was Conte's second season with maximum players fitted to his style of play and this is Sarri's first season with players not fitted to this possession style. We should also keep things in mind that we were always defensive team and not possession based team and this takes time to implement.
Where do you live?
I use http://www.flashscore.com/ to see which channel they air the game on.
I live in denmark and if i go to the danish version of the site it shows me which danish channels the games are aired on.
His positioning is actually his strong suit. The problem last season with his positioning arises in the tactics of the squad. When Destro was injured, Rudi Garcia had the squad playing with a false 9 in Totti who would release fast wingers who would be further ahead of him. Switching Destro into the mix made for a bit of confusion for the wingers at times, but they eventually got used to it. His link up play with Gervinho, who is our most "premier league style" player is beyond excellent as over half of his goals came on build up with Gervinho. His movement is excellent and puts him in easy-to-score situations. His main problem was a bit of offside but that was just a result of being over-eager when he came back from injury.
Here is an example of his link up play, he is the one who receives the long ball
But then again, Totti can make link-up play easy for anyone.
It is on the CBS Sports Network. This channel is more-than-likely a part of your cable service, tv.Youtube.com , Sling.com , etc. service. I know Youtube TV has it because that is how I am going to watch it.
...can you review my podcast on Chelsea tactics please?
https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome
will just leave this here. support journalists if you have the spare money, otherwise don't feel bad about using that. for firefox there is a separate installation further down the page
for websites not covered by that, you can use uBlock Origin and click this. this one doesn't work on well-designed sites like Athletic though.
You can't use chrome extensions on mobile. So if you're a mobile user, use Firefox and click on that link to install the extension. That's all there is.
Edit: But the usual tradition is to ask the OP to paste the text here so it makes the job easier for everyone haha
You can try here; https://uloz.to/file/rhrMjezz/chelsea-season-review-1996-97-avi
They've got a heap uploaded. Not sure how reliable they are, and it's not in English, so I can't tell you a whole heap about if you can download the files or not.
https://fcpython.com/blog/introduction-scraping-data-transfermarkt
I can’t find the original bookmark of a guide I first saw but those should kick things off. Didn’t have time to actually start anything but I think you’d find a lot of interesting player data from TM
Google?
It's genuinely just a shopped image straight off google. Using the French national team shirts and copying the Chelsea design from those shirts.
At least that's what I think the top button comes from. Feel free to disagree.
I believe that one has everything Chelsea does covered
Chelsea Stamford Bridge 3D Puzzle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G5KMOGM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_VX0KP66RDG24BZN9WM10?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 It was a birthday present from my brother but I think this is where he got it.
Yeah the hangers are these, little pricey but really nice. You can make it as long as you want and articulate into whatever position you want.
Hey there. The CFC plate itself was custom from a seller on etsy. I got the light up dock from this link:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073X4RF9Q?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Great accessory for only $20!
Oh, I don’t use a vpn, I’m in India. My friend from London uses ExpressVPN and she says it works. I think most major VPNs offer a trial period. Go for a trial and try logging in and subscribing to the Hotstar plan.
I've had a 24"x2 setup before and I'd say that's the sweet spot in terms of size.
Go for something like this with vesa mount compatibility and get a dual monitor stand.
If you really want to laugh at Spurs this isn't going anywhere.

The joke is about DVDs about specific games.
Every club does season reviews
But the price of my milk isn't going to move up and down after I've bought it, how did I pay for the milk? With all of my own money or a loan etc. You can say proportionately they're the same but it doesn't really hold up, wealthy people don't look at a stadium like a bottle of milk, Warren Buffett is a billionaire and he buys his car 'hail-damaged' because it's cheaper than buying it new
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Millionaire-Next-Door-Surprising-Americas/dp/1589795474
^ Really good book on how frugal some mega wealthy people are. Not that Abramovich needs to be but let's be honest, 500m will be a considerable amount in his mind, it's not something he wants to waste or fritter away
Here you go, maybe you'll learn something mate.
The greatest joy you can get out of football is sharing it with friends and enjoying the experience and the atmosphere.
If you don't know the technical nuances of football yet, don't worry - it's acquired taste.
No one cares you're American, no one cares you started watching this year, no one cares about origin stories - if anyone tells you otherwise, to put you down, they're covering for themselves.
Do read up on the history of the club, familiarize yourself with the past and all that we have done and the amazing culture that we have in the UK within the supporters community. I always recommend this read to new supporters right away: https://www.amazon.com/Chelsea-FC-Biography-Rick-Glanvill/dp/0755314662/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471960128&sr=8-1&keywords=rick+glanvill
I would recommend you read Inverting the Pyramid: the history of football tactics.
It would make things easier when you watch a game.
I was looking for something similar too and this is the best I could find. It arrives today...
Sorry... just realized you were probably talking about Drogba's book. Amazon has it for 17 USD here in the states. http://www.amazon.com/Commitment-My-Autobiography-Didier-Drogba/dp/1473620694/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461680124&sr=8-1&keywords=drogba+autobiography
Has anyone read these two books? http://www.amazon.com/Jose-Mourinho-Leadership-Creating-Successful/dp/9896551979 http://www.amazon.com/Jose-Mourinhos-Real-Madrid-Attacking/dp/0956675271/
Saw them in the related section and they look really interesting. I like both the tactical aspect and the management aspect.
