Shows clear elbow to forehead contact. Is it a flop? Most likely, but until you go in there and let Anthony Davis' elbow hit your head, I wouldn't be so quick to judge. Elbows fucking hurt.
Credit to bricktamland48. Buried in his down voted comment.
Love was hilarious. He just collapsed in his seat holding his chest with his jaw open, then threw his towel at JR when he finally came over to the bench.
You can see him towards the end of the Knicks broadcast version: https://streamable.com/jyi3
Yeah, the solo runs have decreased a bit. One of the reasons is that there are players making great runs so he can do stuff like this a lot more. Plus you won't get fouled as much and it doesn't drain your energy. He is still scoring shit loads of goals so this newer role fits him very nicely.
Don't have a clip of it, but commentators were saying Shaw was holding Ribeiro's arm.
Edit: here's a clip. You can barely see Shaw pulling his own (left) arm back after he get's punched, or at least it kind of looks like it... You decide.
If I remember right, lots of miscommunication. 2 Jets got on the ice, making 5 for the too many men since they were on the PK, then BOTH immediately tried to get on the bench to avoid the too many men penalty, thus leading to a 4 on 1.
Ter Stegen had a really funny game today. As well as making a few cracking saves, I also found him making the same mistake over and over. On three separate occasions, he made a big move towards his right before the ball was hit. The first time was as part of the save that will get a load of attention and can be forgiven because A) Lewandowski's position means a certain element of acting preemptively is required and B) because of the fantastic recovery. But then he does it twice more. The first is on Lewandowski's goal and he is so wrong footed he can't even make an effort to save it. Obviously, the shot is good and there's no reason to suggest he would save it anyway, it was a great finish, but Lewa's opens up his body so much, so his body position means that if Ter Stegen had to move preemptively, he would surely opt to go the other way. And, as if to confirm the suspicions, he then does exactly the same thing on Muller's goal, which was a lot more central and savable. None of these were howlers, but I found it odd to see such a basic and poor habit from such a top goalkeeper, that ultimately cost the team a goal, at the minimum.
The gifs linked aren't the best for explaining this, but catch the highlights and it is pretty clear.
Dellavedova dives for the ball, rolls towards Korver meaning the ball will be on the opposite side of Korver so it can't get knocked loose. Accidentally rolls onto Korver and injures ankle.
Smart hustle play by Delly, just bad luck Korver had to get injured.
Gets dragged down by Horford (shown here), lands on his ankle due to Horford's own cause.
Delly is dirty and has a habit for trying to roll onto people's ankles and injure them. He's done it twice in two games and something needs to be done.
You fuckheads this is not a flop. I watched the CSN broadcast and they showed the replay with Davis' elbow making contact with Barnes' nose. Here's a replay of it dumb shits: https://streamable.com/k7m1

Some background for those who aren't big baseball fans- Simmons is a once in a generation defensive player in his 3rd year who is already being compared to Ozzie Smith and Omar Vizquel (the best defensive shortstops in baseball history). No one else in the world makes this play.
Edit- here is a video with sound that also includes the play from last year. Credit to /u/icantsurf
Full Shootout [~3:00]
EDIT: /u/cppn02 has posted a full length one with volume for those interested. [~17:30]
Eagles fans can breath that this trade didn't go through.
K, that's neat and all, but let's bring attention to the fact that Lorenzo Cain literally walked all the way from 3B to home plate for run #6
I love that little half step where he thinks about running, but is then all like, "nah."
I captured highlights of other Jets goals this game
Drew Stafford scores on the rush to make it 1-0
Sanfrecce Hiroshima is doing great! We've won both of our games so far and Hisato Sato is something like 11 goals away from being the top goalscorer in league history!
EDIT: Sato also scored the first goal of the 2015 season! He's honestly one of the most talented players I have ever seen.
Don't forget his "tackle" in the last game on Suarez that gave away a goal.
I say "tackle" because it was, by far, the laziest attempt to win the ball I've ever seen in a professional game.
Edit: This one
He's as good a defender as I am in video games.
Here you go.
It was good of him to put all the rubbish in their past aside and try and support a fellow footballer when he's going through one of the worst things that a man ever has to go through. Good on him.
Karlsson doesnt bring any physicality to his game, he's only offensively gifted!
Karlsson has been throwing his weight around tonight, he had another good open ice hit
Look at Messis 2nd goal, Neymar was one step ahead of Messi but Neymar didnt even extend his leg to score, he let Messi score. I think that is why Messi gave Neymar the pen. https://streamable.com/zo3s
Great game, could have easily been 10 or 12 goals. At the end of the day im glad we got another 3pts on the board.
~~It's actually the future this time.~~
Edit: That awkward moment when you have the link to the future, but then you copy the reddit post link from the present after closing out of the future.
Edit 2: I fixed the future.
The pass there was from Neymar. The match was a brutal one, Valencia was tremendous against Barcelona. The defender following Messi in the video there, Otamendi, was all over him and the rest of Barcelona and ran them ragged. Messi was going very slowly at the end there (for him), he was clearly running on fumes.
I'm not good at titles when I'm tired and posting late, it's true. Perhaps this is better? Messi is too exhausted to get up to celebrate his 400th Barça goal, scored in the last seconds of the match.
Now accepting alternative titles.....
That fight scene at the end of episode two, I imagine it'll make it to YouTube at some point, was so fucking good. Everyone starting off at their peak and just getting so tired and beaten by the end. I love how enemies don't stay down, and I love how even when they're knackered and slowed right down, the hits are still just as brutal.
Edit: Found it - https://streamable.com/nu92 There isn't a time stamp, but it starts just under a quarter of the way on the bar.
He ran an out of bounds play earlier too (recording was crappy because of I accidentally had low bitrate on). I'll upload it anyways in a sec.
Edit:
I just hope Clement realized that Ramos wasn't trying to say "fuck off man" but more like "f*uck yeah man*" lol.
Free translation:
Ramos: Somebody get me a hair clippler please! (to cut Luka's hair I suppose) (...) Here it is fuck, it took me 10 years but here it is. Goods thing are worth waiting for, hard work pays off finally.
(...)
Marcelo: LA DÉCIMA! It's here. Very happy. Companionship, uni uni unity right? Is it unity or unit? Unity, La Décima it's here. ^(IDK how to translate this tbh, 'unidad' and 'unión' are basically the same thing in that context)
Carvajal: All thanks to Marcelo
Marcelo: Thank yall, you're the best.
And the last one:
i've got nothing to say about draymond. but check out this link of barnes: https://streamable.com/k7m1
whether you still want to call it a flop or not is up to you, but he did get an unexpected elbow to the face.
I guess we'll see what happens with the Titans.
The more often thing is what I'm really on about here. If your interpretation of this event was 'comical defending' because the defenders were not close enough to their marks, then I could also walk you through all six of barcelona's goals today and come to the exact same conclusion. 1) Suarez was kept onside by a lazy right back. 2) A totally unmarked free header from the penalty spot followed by three ball watchers. 3) Stupid challenge. 4) Bad clearance and then the defender just totally forgot the best player in the world was on the field so Messi is left completely free from 2 yards out. 5) No one marking yet again. Messi literally jogs to the penalty spot with no challenge, receives the pass, and then dribbles two defenders and a keeper simultaneously. At least one defender has simply got to be tighter. And 6) My fucking god just look at the defender in front of Messi when he receives the ball. He looks like he doesn't even want to be on the pitch anymore. Suarez goes right behind his shoulder and he doesn't move an inch, allowing free passage into his net.
6 incidents in one match at the highest of levels just today that could easily be labeled as terrible defending.
Pele could do it, but not aswell as Rivellino, he have admitted it. Most of these dribbles were used through-out Brasil for a longer time and he learned it from a teammate, but Rivellino made it his trademark.
Wild hit the post right before Hossa launched it down the ice. If that goes in, it's 3-2 and who knows what happens.
Toews also hit the post on the EN when it was 4-3. That sounds like something that would happen to the Leafs, except the other team would eventually tie the game.
He came off the fucking bench and made straight for him. There's a better angle out there, they showed it on the Stars feed. Over the wall. Straight through center ice, Straight to Klingberg. Ignored Klingberg's pass, One more stride, right into him. It was charging. Shanaban could put out a video on what constitutes charging with this hit.
Edit: https://streamable.com/i4y8 IamValNichushkin for the link.
This vine isn't much higher quality, but you can see his arm clearly push MKG's head back.
Edit: https://streamable.com/1uvt is a better look, and you can see he actually pushes MKG's arm, not face. Still a foul, but wasn't direct contact to his face.
That replay hides it. Look at this one: https://streamable.com/y46n. Watch right after he hits Carroll. That's when he uses his feet to push himself into Horford.
It's not conclusive, maybe it was a reflex, but that's what people are looking at.
I uploaded the alternate angle on Streamable for everyone. Thanks /u/TopOfTheCrop for linking the video.
EDIT: Gfycat mirror.
Schalke's first goal was a great example of how important Huntelaar can be for me as well. He draws so much attention it opens up big space for his teammates, just going towards the ball and doing nothing with it basically created a big part of the goal

>Then what can you base it on? How many dirty plays are you gonna excuse as "scrappy" and "tough" before he becomes a dirty player?
I'll call him a dirty player when he commits a dirty play.
>I personally think grabbing Taj's leg hoping for a retaliation in a playoff game is dirty.
It was petty, but had no real risk of injuring Taj. It was just a juvenile reaction after being pushed to the ground. Was it against the rules? Yes. Was it dirty? Depends on your definition, but there wasn't any malicious intent to injure Taj.
>Rolling into Korver's knee can be considered going for the ball, but it sure looked like he didnt try to stop his momentum and went through that knee.
http://www.nba.com/video/channels/tnt_overtime/2015/05/23/0041400302-cle-atl-play17.nba/
Watch the play. Where was the opportunity to stop his momentum? He dove for the ball and turned his body to protect the ball from being grabbed for a jump ball. That is textbook basketball. No malicious intent.
>When he did a similiar motion on Horford, what can you expect?
http://i.imgur.com/iJlUoba.jpg
He did not do a similar motion on Horford at all. That is just plain incorrect and I'm sure you now see that. He was pulled into Carrol by Horford's armbar and fell to the ground before being elbowed in the neck. No malicious intent at all.
>You can try to sugar coat it all you want, but hes a dirty player in my book.
I'm sure after you watch the plays you will come to the conclusion he is not a dirty player. If you're seeing anything I'm not seeing and still think he's dirty, I'd be happy to hear your point of view.
After an extended break, harem hijinks are in full swing for a second episode in a row.
It's not all feel good stuff though, the Captain is really going all in with her arms race against the Gaunas and the colonists are more screwed than I thought.
Really? Cause this clip pretty clearly shows Stastny hitting the stick out of Myers' hands, preventing him from making a play to stop that goal. Maybe it should have been called interference instead, but it sure as hell wasn't a clean play.
Pretty similar to the right back who gifted Suarez this goal in La Liga (one of the best leagues in the world) last week. Only difference is that Rogers here is dropping too much, while the right back from La Liga isn't stepping up fast enough along with his teammates. Very similar scenarios. Bad defending is everywhere.
https://streamable.com/vykb Suárez and his goal against Real Madrid, never have I seen so much passion in a celebration, Suárez is more hype than anyone. Edit: bonus Ray Hudson commentary http://youtu.be/EULgESKPKqM

My impressions, from what Bioware have told us so far, are that the planets we explore are going to be open world areas like DA:I (i.e. a better version of ME1's exploration). The short footage we saw of the Mako seems to support this. I think the areas of the new game will be more similar to those of ME1 than ME2/3 (bigger and explorable), yet retain the better detail and liveliness of the latter games. ME1's areas were a little too "empty" and repetitive, which made exploration a chore after the novelty wore off.

anyways my comment was:
>Im gonna be doing streamable highlights for Jays games this summer the same way I do highlights for hockey games, cant wait!
And i think Teague got Delly in the face again last game too. It was in a post up situation so it might not have been on purpose but should have been an offensive foul. Play in question
I'm concerned that the streamable website isn't secure. I posted a thread about it in /r/netsec only to have it removed (and now I can't post the question to anywhere else because reddit is blocking my submissions).
Here's the thread I posted:
>The website 'streamable' has been used more frequently for hosting short videos. The /r/hockey and /r/soccer subreddits in particular have been using the website to host game highlights.
>Today, I was watching this video when I noticed that streamable's identity was not verified. After clicking on 'https' for more information, Chrome also notified me that the encryption algorithm used by the website is obsolete.
>Is this concerning news for the users of /r/hockey and /r/soccer? It seems that anyone who created a streamable account is at risk due to the weak encrytpion, but are the people who view the videos also at risk because of the identity not being verified?
Can anyone with experience in netsec confirm these suspicions? And I advise people to avoid creating an account on the site until this is sorted out.
OK My floor is covered with towels, back to business as usual.
Yes. He's very good but some people are worried about him getting a big head since he's been appearing in so many magazines / on TV before he's actually accomplished anything (a la Kakitani).
Its called a Mesoscale Convective Vortex. It's a low-pressure center that can continue to produce rain long after the storm system dissipates. Think of it as a weak hurricane eye over land. I couldn't get the gif uploaded but here's a video showing the MCV. https://streamable.com/awp7

On the Horford play, it's about his feet. https://streamable.com/y46n. If you watch his feet you'll see him drive himself further into Horford's legs while he's falling. It may have been a reflex to try to keep his balance (though he was basically sideways at the point), but it sure doesn't look good. To me it clearly looks like he's jumping into Horford as he's falling, but of course I'm biased (just like Cavs fans are biased to see it the other way).
The Korver play didn't look malicious to me. It totally could have been but it's indistinguishable from an innocent hustle play.
Lets be real. You saw one play on the front page of reddit and you decide that is all he does. When demar was out, he stepped up enormously.
Here is the Crossoverish (?). Really nice ball handing by Russell
I have the 2nd half and OT (for the most part). If you guys want a play I might be able to upload it. Reply to this comment.
They do support sound, but have a nifty option to disable sound if you want in the upload. They don't mirror links or let you upload via direct URL though, which is what I do. Their API only seems to support uploading local files.
This was the penalty:
He doesn't touch his head, worst he does is lie on the floor. Either way it was a penalty.
edit: Boyle's the one who got hit in the head and didn't return to the game.
Hey Jim,
I've just been rewatching South Pacific because I wanted to get a refresher on you and Mikayla. I just realized that out of the Savaii 6 (including Cochran), you came out of the game with the least to show for it. Ozzy was a 3 time player and hogged the screentime of your season, Cochran and Dawn have both played again and made it to the end, then Keith/Whitney found love and went on the amazing race. Meanwhile you've seem to have been forgotten by a lot of people here even though your season wasn't even that long ago. I'd love for you to get a second chance man.
I liked you when the season aired, but I guess I forgot some of your memorable moments. This one particular sequence of events that I thought was really impressive was manipulating Keith to vote against Ozzy and take out Elise using a simple comment made about Albert. Video for those that dont remember
My only question is: How did this feel?
The field may appear too big, but due to the offside rule, the active field of play is actually probably between 30-50% of the field (at least length ways). In other words, all the play in soccer happens between the 2 sets of defence, which can get pretty tight.
Generally, and in the above picture, both teams are manipulating space in order to make the pitch either larger (if you're attacking) or smaller (defending). Smaller pitch = easier to defend.
This makes pacey players so exciting - if they can get past their man and/or last line of defence the opposition is in serious trouble. Great example here https://streamable.com/bz8e
Called a debatable slashing on Stastny that became a no-goal. Jets win 1-0, game most likely would've went into OT if it wasn't called. Refs weren't too good to either team though Here's the slashing call: https://streamable.com/gwve
Fucked up the original link, Im trying to see the fastest possible uploads I can get, i guess Ill slow down to get it right :/
I think Joe Young is going to be a steal for sure. He is going to be a great 6 man of the year and is extremely athletic but no one talks about him because he was on the Ducks. He has amazing offensive skill in driving to the basket and making tough shots. Only down side is that he's a bit streaky at times.
Edit:
Obligatory Clips:
Thanks for the rational discussion on it :). It was definitely an overreaction by Ribs.
I tried to break it down in a little more detail and here's what I see (using this version: https://streamable.com/oz7s)
To my eyes, the jerk that brings him back to the bench is too forceful and awkward to be caused by himself. You can even see his left elbow lift up a touch as he tries to skate away. He was starting from a deadstop, so his feet didn't slip much because he was trying to start skating. The way his body twists is just too awkward for me to think it was largely his own action, but I obviously have some bias ;)
And if you look really close as Toews passes the puck, you can see what appears to be Shaw's left arm as he pulls it back to his body (look just below Ribs' right arm for the stripes) just before Ribs punches him. From what we can and can't see, I'd assume Shaw's arm was on top of Ribeiro's upper forearm which wouldn't take a whole lot of force to keep Ribs there just a few extra seconds as he was trying to start skating off.
Again, I completely think that it was an overreaction by Ribs, and he should've done something a little less drastic. However, I don't think there should be any disciplinary action for it unless Shaw also faces it for interacting with an ongoing play.
I'd love to hear your perspective on it if you're seeing something different though!
I personally use "Open Broadcasting Software". It's easy to setup and use assuming you have ballstreams or another service. It just records what you tell it to and makes videos. You can then upload these vids to streamable.

Second map is Inferno (TSM pick). TSM started T side and won first half 11-4 and second half is coming up with TSM on CT side (they call their own CT side the worst in the world so...)
Second map ended with a convincing win to TSM scoreline 16-4, not dropping a single round on CT. We are going to overtime.
Play of the map: Device being cheeky getting a sneaky double headshot.
Wish I watched more this season as I know there are better ones, just can't think of them.
I feel like there are two types of nutmegs.
First one is where you fake to go one way first, so the opponent sticks their leg out, and you knock it through their legs. Case in point: https://gfycat.com/TepidRecentIrishsetter
Then there are the ones where you actually put it through a defender's legs just in their running stride. This is extremely skillful and it blows my mind that someone like Suarez has the skill to do this constantly: https://streamable.com/5iiv
Players certainly aren't specifically taught to nutmeg, and it would be something that would be actively discouraged if you are in your own defensive area.
Shooting between the keeper's legs is something striker's would practice a lot though. Since they know goalkeepers try to spread themselves to cover alot of area in a 1v1 situation, its usually a good option.
Apparently, there will be a lot of Mako in the next one. They keep emphasizing discovery and exploration whenever they talk about it and the Mako will be a big part of that. Plus the little bit of gameplay they have released looks sweet.
Look at that thing tearin it up in the snow.

Just to update, ATL is down ~20 supply, half of that in workers. They have essentially no tech, CLE is on tier 3. Here are the announcers talking about the basketball equivalent to a halfway decent set of forcefields against a inferior army (a good dunk, but nothing super special):
Everything I will say here is fact. Please point out where you think Delly is being malicious in this play. https://streamable.com/y46n
Delly bodies up Horford to keep him from the loose ball. ( Good B-Ball play).
Horford pulls Delly by the arm over Carroll and he trips and falls.
How are you blaming Delly for anything here?
The anime was doing a good job of condensing the material early on but it's starting to feel rushed now. It was unavoidable, 90 chapters in one cour is tough to adapt no matter how good the writing staff is. Then again, as a manga reader my perspective is probably skewed, it seems like most anime only watchers are fine with the pacing.
He actually does that a lot. In the 3-0 against Bayern, he does something similar. Notice his first touch, immediately eliminates the Benatia by playing it towards the center. Obviously this is nothing amazing, but just shows his killer instinct.
Looks pretty straightforward to me.
You could maybe argue Perry interfered, however he was pushed in by Wideman and Ramo was already down. No way do they overturn that goal.
Look at the overhead angle on this link. Ward's skates are not at all in the blue paint. Lundqvist leans in, Stepan pushes Ward as Ward is turning, that's where the contact happens.
2nd Period Goals
edit: 2nd, not 1st...
Breakdown:
_
Thats how I broke down the play from this streamable vid. In that breakdown, can you see how this was Subban attempting to prevent a deflection by Stone? Given it was very very poorly executed, I just don't see that Subban intentionally slashed him.
>Yes, I could see a penalty called, but it's not like Reaves was "targeting the head."
he didn't say it was targetting the head, but that it should be called. sounds like you pretty much agree?
Gfycat finally decided to work:
Iginla shows why he is the #1 scorer against the Preds, game tied at 1
9 seconds later, O'Reilly gets his. Avs lead 2-1
EDIT: Mirror for the O'Reilly goal
To be clear, I didn't downvote you. But, a few things:
If he's not doing it on purpose? No, I guarantee you he's not doing it on purpose. The incident with Korver was unfortunate, but lets be real here, tonight he was straight up pulled to the ground and then elbowed in the head. People need to stop blaming him for what happened tonight.
Barnes got hit on this one so it's not all that egregious.
But everybody wants to take their turn to hate on the Warriors and release their pent up frustration so I'll let them.
I still think if you make a post like "Harrison Barnes with the second flop by the Warriors" it doesn't become a huge anti-Warriors circlejerk. Adding the "Draymond Green" impression and calling it "egregious" when there clearly was contact is sort of lame.
If you look at the vid closely it appears that Shaw is leaning over and putting his hand on Ribeiro's glove, preventing him from moving, and then looking away to seem inconspicuous about it. Look at Riberio's left hand and see how Shaw's arm moves back after Riberio swings. However we are gonna need a better angle to see if he really did anything. https://streamable.com/oz7s
The puck was at the point and the defensemen seems like he is ready to shoot. PK saw that Stone was coming in front to tip the shot. So Subban slashed to try and make stone miss a possible tip-in. https://streamable.com/wjlw
People make is seem like the slash was completely way from the play. It was a normal play by Subban but he got him at the wrong place. The intent to hit that wrong spot can be debated.
How do you jackdaws not even mention the Champions League games? Easily the biggest deal out of all of them
Look at these two goals from Luis Suarez
I'd really like to see Stone win. I didn't get to watch as much of some of the other rookies as I'd like, but Stone's not just a 64 point scorer he's a insane defensive player too, he led the league in takeaways and they resulted in stuff like this.
