Can someone explain to me what the fuck tumblr's deal is with this show? And why they get pandered to so much? I've never been on tumblr but I decided to take a quick look and the results for just searching "arrow" were terrifying, and I quote: >"Honestly, I don’t think Felicity gets enough credit for being the true lynchpin of the Arrowverse. “Arrow” may be the title, but Felicity is the most important character. I know people talk about reddit having a hive mind, but HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. Tumblr takes the "hive mind" to a brain aneurysm inducing level.

I'm actually seriously terrified of the results shown from the simple search term "arrow". What is going on? I legitimately feel stressed out just scrolling through that.
That fight scene at the end of episode two, I imagine it'll make it to YouTube at some point, was so fucking good. Everyone starting off at their peak and just getting so tired and beaten by the end. I love how enemies don't stay down, and I love how even when they're knackered and slowed right down, the hits are still just as brutal.

For episodes 3x21 he chose "The Stranger" by Billy Joel http://genius.com/Billy-joel-the-stranger-lyrics/ We were told that we're gonna see a side of Oliver that we've never seen before and that Olicity fans probably won't be happy with the episode. So I can only assume that he will become Ra's al Ghul. Also Stephen Amell posted a picture "With Oliver's new buddy" I can't wait!
If only they'd also make his helmet look less ridiculous... I can't stand it from the moment they teased it (first version is still the worst, though). At least give him a proper face protection... He'd be way more badass wearing something like this or this. Hell, just a simple ballistic mask would work, Sigh...

Start with Geoff Johns run. I It begins with a mini-series called Green Lantern: Rebirth, but I'd actually recommend reading Green Lantern: Secret Origin first and then Rebirth. Rebirth is probably gonna be slightly confusing but just go with it, then after that comes the actual beginning of his run. Read all the way thru to the New 52 since his book was one of the very few that remained unchanged from that reboot. I'm pretty sure the entirety of his run is collected in trades and also available digitally at Comixology.

I would suggest the CW site (get Hola if you're outside the US) but unfortunately it looks like they've only got the last 5 episodes available there. You might have to resort to using slightly risque sites or torrent even, unless someone else knows where you can watch the full season that is.

These are two different things. Opera and Chrome are web browsers, Bing is a search engine.
Free VPNs are sketchy as hell. Nothing is truly free, and a VPN isn't cheap to run. If you're just using it to region shift, you're fine, but you're likely opening yourself up to more privacy issues than without it. Hell, there was one (I forget the name offhand) that was a Chrome extension that actively turned your machine into a TOR node. That in and of itself isn't necessarily bad, but doing it without consent is terrible, and you'd have no control over what traffic was coming out of your machine.
Opera's free VPN, I can't weigh in on. Opera is a very old player in the browser market (older than I think even Netscape and Internet Explorer), but the browser shriveled for a reason (big one being it was a for-pay browser for a very long time) They're something like 95% owned by Chinese firms which calls their interest in providing a "free" VPN into serious question. A quick googling also mentions their VPN service is slow, which is to be expected from a free service.
You're much better off researching and actually paying for a VPN service, like NordVPN, ExpressVPN, or similar offerings. I haven't done a ton of research myself (thus why I only named two you've probably heard on Youtube or podcasts), but I'd be far more likely to trust them than any free VPN service. Most of them aren't that expensive in the long run.
If you use Reddit Enhancement Suite or any of the Android apps (like Boost for Reddit) then you can set filters. I've filtered everything that is labelled [shitpost] or similar. Works pretty well.
Actually the last episode is supposed to have a fight between Nyssa and Roy when Nyssa will eventually kidnaps Dinah but is cut for some reason. It's in the last paragraph in the article.
Here's the kind of thing that olicity fans like to do, read the comments on this old fic, it was before the person in the grave on season 4 was revealed and this person dared write that it might be Felicity. "Typical lauriver trash. Delusional!" Is the nicest one. There's 56 comments, most are from olicitiers harrassing the writer and agreeing with each other that the writer is wrong about everything. It isn't a Lauriver fic, btw, and it is correctly tagged as Oliver/Felicity.
Scroll to the bottom and hit the "comments" button to read them. The fic isn't too bad, and Felicity's name is on the tombstone, so it's worth the read. ;)
There's so many, because each entry is really its own story, but together they form "The War of Light" - the biggest GL epic. You are completely safe picking up just this 2004 miniseries "Green Lantern: Rebirth" and, if you like it, going forward one book at a time.

Well, I don't think I have ever seen the word "fan service" used as much as I have seen it used in the online comments on that scene! Even hardcore oliciters are admitting that the ONLY reason that scene was even included was in order to create online "buzz" and provide the tumblr #olicity fandom with a GIF-worthy moment. There are even tumblr oliciters who are "OMG, Slade is like the biggest Olicity shipper after Diggle"!;-) And here is the proof:
Perhaps so. Though, in a way, changing one's attitude about the situation is often beneficial. I took what he said to mean, "You can let it set the tone of your life, or you can push yourself, struggle, yes, but come out the better out of it." I'd really suggest looking into The Flinch by Julien Smith (and The War of Art by Steven Pressfield) to people with similar disorders.

Guys, there is wonderful add-in called Tumblr Savior - you put there tags you DON'T want to see and then - miracle! Suddenly search for Oliver turns up posts with Oliver, search with Quentin turns up posts with Quentin etc. (Before it was Olicity & OTA).

the sub can't have it both ways. the prevailing attitude on reddit is that, you shouldn't be offended when insulted. people on here use really vulgar language, call for the writers to be fired, call other users bitches and cunts, call the writers names all the time, send each other rape and death threats(i have personally bent sent both and have screencaps to prove it), get told you deserve the rape threats(that would be me) and so on. the sub wants to say whatever it wants and they want the writers to go out of their way to come on here. most tv writers, actors, celebrities aren't on reddit(using their real names anyway) except for ama. but everyone has twitters and most have tumblr.
everyone on here can go on twitter and talk to the writers themselves if they want but it's asking for a lot to have the writers go on here regularly and interact with the sub when i can't name any writer doing that on any other sub. i frankly think it's a little entitled. they open a twitter account to talk to fans and instead of talking to them on the platform they are at(and cw makes it's writers and casts be on social media) you except them to come to you.

If you would like to support the show please view it on CW or some other site (CTV Canada) with a VPN. Zenmate is a nice free one, I haven't seen any bad reports about it yet unlike Hola. Just set your location to US after installing and you're good to go. The only downside is that they only have the latest 5 or 6 episodes available even during re-runs. It's against this sub's rules for people to share information about watching the series illegally via easily googleable torrents or streams (which of course you would never do, but if a person were hypothetically to do that, it would be good of them to stream an equivalent number of episodes on the CW's website so they can support the show through ad revenue), but you can buy single episodes on Amazon here. Keep in mind, Elmerion, Green Arrow in the comics is slightly different from Arrow in the comics. Green Arrow avoided killing and he was more of a fighter for the little guy (closer to what we see in Legacies than the earlier episodes), but LBH is definitely intense.
