The weighted lottery has only been around since 1990, and even then the weights were different from the current ones (the team with the worst record used to have a smaller chance of winning).
As an experiment I used a random number generator to generate 24 numbers between 1 and 4, counting the 1s as the worst team winning the draft lottery. Here are the results (1st run, no re-runs): 4, 1, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4, 3, 2, 4, 4, 1, 4, 1, 3, 4, 4, 1, 3, 4, 3, 2, 3, 2. That's only four wins for the worst team, or 16.7%.
For the actual draft lottery, the worst team has won three times. It's not that far off my completely random result (which actually gives the worst team a higher chance of winning than the real draft lottery has historically). Is it more reasonable to assume the draft lottery is fixed, or that 24 drafts just isn't a big enough sample size for the results to even out to 25%?

CSS3 was added to Reddit like 2 months ago I think. Now you can make a CSS sprite and have it loop around a static image and make it animated. It takes quite a bit of effort and time but it's possible now.
Rudy Gay and MCW contract don't match. I would actually take MCW for Rudy Gay in a heart beat if their salary matched.
But Bulls need to give up Taj, which would complicate things. If it is MCW and Taj for Rudy Gay and lowering of Kings pick, then there is a big possibility of it happening.
PS: I really like Rudy Gay. I know Bulls fans will complain having Rondo, Wade, Jimmy and Gay because of spacing. But people don't consider the fact that their athleticism will enable them to play full court. Rondo, Wade, Jimmy, Gay and RoLo for the first six minutes won't hurt. All of them defend well, runs and rebounds. Then insert a combination of Zel, Doug, Niko and Felicio in the starting line-up, and you got guys to space the floor.
I don't know how accurate this injury report is but ESPN says that Wade, Snell and Valentine are out for the Bulls and LeBron, Holland and Frye are out for the Cavs.
I only can remember the 6th championship. Bulls mania was everywhere. My parents used to buy me a new Starter jacket every year that was Bulls because I was so in love with the team and Michael Jordan. I can remember anxiously awaiting tip off and watching the magic. I'm sorry, I wish I could capture the emotions better, but I was only 6 at the time haha. The only thing I can compare it to: my heart would race faster and my stomach would get light every time Jordan made a move.
I strongly recommend reading Roland Lazenby's <em>Michael Jordan: The Life</em> to fully understand and capture the emotion and nature surrounding Jordan.
The ESPN Summer Forecast predicted the Bulls would win 40 games and the Kings 30. If they both win 38 games as the RPM projections suggest, the Kings would be the far bigger surprise.
One thing the projections don't account for is the Kings' disincentive to lose their draft pick, or incentive to finish in the bottom ten in the league. It would be interesting if in the last week the Bulls and Kings were trying to play worse than each other so that the Bulls could get the Kings' pick.
I would go here and type in your zip code and if you see NBC Sports Chicago on the list of channels, then that'll be plenty to watch them all (including national games for example ESPN TNT or ABC). If not though, you could use League Pass (the single team package) and watch it that way but you'll miss the few national games that the Bulls have
You can try something called Unlocator, just google it, if you have a windows PC. You would sign up for the international version of NBA League Pass once you have Unlocator setup on your computer. I couldn't get it to work for me, because I was using an Ipad. But I have seen it work in the past. You can get a 7 day free trial, so if you are slightly tech savvy you should be able to figure it out quite easily and not risk a penny doing so. If you are able to buy the international version then you would be set for the season.
>First off, those guys wouldn't get any more time in your proposed lineup than they will this season for real.
I don't understand how you can make that claim and then just move on.
>And no, we didn't establish that starters typically play 30 MPG. That's just something you made up.
I don't make things up, find me some starters on this list that played less than 30 mpg
EDIT: The rest of your reply was great, thanks!
Yeah, that was after the Skiles debacle around like '08-ish. Before the Bulls settled on Del Negro, they were interviewing D'Antoni (still under contract with Phoenix at the time) and Avery Johnson along with some assistant coaches.
Since D'Antoni ended up going to New York and the Bulls didn't pick him up, I don't know if he was just a top candidate we wanted to interview or if Paxson was really chasing him. IIRC D'Antoni was the one inquiring about jobs when the Phoenix situation began going south. Maybe he was trying to cash out, which he did in NY, or maybe he was interested with young players on either team. I don't totally remember but good call on that connection.
Edit: Found this. Crazy to see how the landscape of the league changes so quickly. A team trying to incorporate Shaq, Luol a budding star, Steve Kerr the GM, Rick Carlisle the potential Dallas HC. Feels like those seasons happened so recently.
There’s really nothing to set up, it just works, no setup. The only thing that ever goes wrong with my NordVPN is if I have it pointed to a different country, I leave it on, and certain apps like financial institutions and even Google itself doesn’t like it. All I have to do is turn off the VPN and/or turn it off temporarily. Or point it back to a location in the US. Other than that, it works well and it’s an extra layer of security and anonymity for me, plus other benefits.
Very easy.
Do note that the ones I mentioned costs money, but IMO a good VPN is worth it for better security and better anonymous surfing. NordVPN runs around $35-45 a year depending on sales and timing. SurfShark is a bit cheaper, around $30 a year. FWIW both are now owned by the same company, they merged earlier this year. ExpressVPN is another one you can look into.
OP this is the method I use (I'm in Chicago) and it works well. Personally I use Private Internet Access for a VPN but any of the previously mentioned ones should work too. Just don't use a free VPN and you should be all good.
You can get a VPN such as NordVPN and point your location to somewhere else outside the Chicago area. Another country if the game is on NBA TV or ESPN. A good VPN free from ads like Nord runs roughly $40/yr if you buy multiple years.
Note that this works on your computer, but not on an iPhone. IPhones have Location Services which the app uses, so no getting around that.
Keep calm guys. We may have find a suitable landing spot for MCW. I have been a Gar believer. Work your magic once again Gar.
So now how does he fit i mean Dinwiddie and Cannan have been impressive though he is an impressive defender though MCW just isn't a good shooter and he has dealt with injuries in the past though he's athletic and a good athlete and great passer

Surprisingly, I saw that its still posted, even as recently as the game against Oklahoma City and Russel Westbrook's triple double streak!
Also saw that someone on here created a similar shirt, so I thought I'd make one for the original. here it is posted on my instagram page about 2 years ago!
nice resource, you might be able to automate it with services like ifttt which can push espn data to google sheets. also there's a google calendar of the bulls schedule
For those wanting to buy one. It’s on amazon:

I wanted to keep the left side empty for the desktop icons haha And yes, I don't have Adobe Photoshop. I had to use this web-browser photoshop which does barely half of what Photoshop can do.
Actually that second part is incorrect. The Tyrus trade essentially netted the Bulls Doug McDermott. You're actually thinking about the James Johnson trade, which they traded James Johnson to Toronto for a first round pick in 2011 via MIA.
Good idea anyways if you ask me, but yes, a VPN will make Netflix an option for US customers. Just make sure you do a little research to make sure the VPN you buy actually does work with Netflix. Netflix is good at detecting VPN traffic and will give you an error if they can tell. I use NordVPN and have been happy with it for almost 2 years now. That said, for Netflix I learned that only certain countries work. If I VPN to Canada I'm blocked. Mexico, I'm good.
Not that I know of.. make sure you see it working before you actually give Unlocator your money. The free trial should last you long enough to figure that out. But yea, you're gonna have to pay the price to get around the blackout.
Edit: you could always catch the streams people put up on here but they will be shit quality a lot of the time.
If you are more than just a Bulls fan and enjoy the entire NBA, let me tell you about the best $200 you can spend each year.
NBA International League Pass is the way to go. I currently live in Denver and haven't had cable for 4 years and still watch every single Bulls game as well as 2-3 other NBA games a night (because I have a sickness).
Here's what you do. Find yourself a cheap VPN (Virtual Private Network) I personally use CyberGhost (download the "free version" then uninstall it and they'll prompt you to sign up for a year for 20 EUROS or so which is about $25 bucks) which will give you access to other countries such as Romania, Sweden and Lithuania. Open and run your VPN, pick a foreign country at random and go to and see how much ILP costs. I seem to remember Germany being the most expensive and Lithuania being the cheapest, by all means shop around as prices certainly vary. All told, for about $185 I got a year subscription to a VPN and International League Pass. Now when I want to watch games I log in to my VPN, then sign in to ILP and I"m all set. Once I'm signed in to ILP, I can close my VPN and run my internet as normal (which is slightly faster)
Benefits of ILP vs domestic league pass broadband:
No blackouts including all nationally televised games! (Seriously this is what domestic LP Broadband should be in 2015)
The ability to choose your broadcaster (except national games you get the national guy, but everything else you can pick Funk and King to call the game)
No commercials! They usually show highlights from earlier in the year, though towards the end of this season they'd just patch in the feed from the jumbotron (which was awesome cause we got to gamble on the dashing donut, cuppy coffee, bagel race for Bulls game all Spring, Cuppy Coffee cost me a lot of money) and more that I"m too lazy to write about right now!
Hotspot Shield for Android. I believe there's one for PC as well. The thing is though, you need to have a valid Internet account that you can sign onto ESPN3 with (Comcast, AT&T, etc). It's not very consistent either. Yesterday, I was able to watch the Bulls game with no trouble, but couldnt get the Lakers game to work.
I will counter that Jordan turned on Brown later on. Jordan went from being a supporter to being ruthless to him later on. The perception was Kwame Brown wasn't putting in the work and he's lazy, disengaged, etc. In my opinion I think Jordan still helped ruin him. Jordan went from his best supporter to one of his worst enemies later on. What you quoted here seems to be in between. At the end of the day the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Kwame isn't the first teammate Jordan was ruthless against - he's an alpha male that tests everybody, including Robert Parish.

i had this same question probably 15 years ago, after getting fed up with my gel pretty much turning to flakes, there was this one dude in school who just had amazing hair, so I had to ask him, it was pomade.
specifically this one, although there is a much bigger selection these days, this is the only one I tried. Unfortunately I didn't have enough hair to care about using any by the time it became more popular. Used to have to go to salons way back in the day, but now you can easily pick them up at walmart.

it's one of the best products I've ever used, you get just the right amount of the "gel" look without it looking wet (it looks more shiny and healthy, but not like you stepped out of a shower), it holds in place ridiculously well, never flaked, and I didn't have to use much to be effective, it also smelled great but that's probably more preference. I was a cheap ass and happily paid 20 for it back in the day since it lasted so long, looks like competition has brought the price way down.
