He put in an annotation recently in part 1 at the beginning. If the link doesn't work/display, it says: I don't hate this game. I just give critism to it. That doesn't mean I'm forcing myself to play it either. Trust me, I wouldn't play anything on Youtube, unless I wanted to!
I dunno. I don’t think YouTube’s over-enforcing of strict policies has anything to do with the App Store; Apple would never take YouTube off the App Store.
I believe it has more to do with how YouTube has catered more and more to advertisers, who prefer advertising on “cleaner” content, over the years, as well as how they want to keep their reputation squeaky clean and family-friendly. YouTube has done nothing to fuck over creators for a long time, from ignoring creators who get their videos copyright striked on no merit (risking their entire channels being terminated if they get three strikes) to demonetizing and even blocking or deleting videos who did not break any of their policies. Google cares about one thing and one thing only: ad revenue. Creators are secondary. If creators have to drastically make worse videos—censoring themselves, never talking about “sensitive” topics, uploading as frequently as possible, and posting videos over 10 minutes long—just to get by, so be it. As long as Google keeps making money off YouTubers, they don’t care. They know that YouTubers have no other place to turn to, so they have a total monopoly on the business. Plenty have tried to compete, from Vidme to Vimeo and Dailymotion, but nobody has succeeded. That’s the same reason Twitch keeps getting away with fucking over their streamers, because there’s no real alternative to Twitch. Microsoft tried with Mixer and paid Ninja US$30–50 million and Shroud $10 million, but that clearly didn’t work.
The only way YouTubers realistically are able to make money on YouTube these days, without making content for babies (and even that isn’t guaranteed not to be demonetized), is sponsorships. Companies/services/products like Audible, HelloFresh, Lynda, Skillshare, Squarespace, Raycon, Honey, Brilliant, RAID, NordVPN, ExpressVPN, etc., etc., are literally holding the entirity of YouTube on their shoulders.
No problem! :) Seems like you want to get into the Youtube business yourself, check out some tutorials, there are loads that explain step by step how to create a professional looking video.
Also, check out Open Broadcaster Software! It's a great free program for recording your screen and you can even directly record your face with a webcam and place it over the recorded screen. It even has a chroma key function to remove the background, as long as it's a uniform color.
Another youtuber named zakuaurelius custom painted it for him.
