My usual checklist, as it's usually not the hardware at fault in my experience.
Have you replicated their concerns on that hardware?
Checked for any common extensions that could be causing the issue? Does the issue occur with no extensions installed?
What does the Meet Quality Tool say about their performance? CPU bound? Network bound?
Is the chromeOS version out of date? Sometimes new chromebooks ship with old OS versions and fail to update.

I’m not familiar with Dingtalk but before Google Meet had breakout rooms I would make my own breakout rooms by creating unique meet URLs.
For example, my main meet would be https://meet.Google.com/lookup/mainroom
I would then make a series of other rooms that I sent to each student with a slightly different URL (i.e., https://meet.google.com/lookup/mainroom1-01

I have case with Microsoft on this. We have found that with app protection policies turned on the link has to be in the gmeet://xxx-xxxx-xxx format. So the work around is educate anyone sending the link out to send it in 2 formats. meet.google.com/xxx-xxxx-xxx and also gmeet://xxx-xxxx-xxx . This is not ideal. I'm pushing back on Microsoft to fix this since it works without APP enabled. Also to note the gmeet://xxx-xxxx-xxx format only work on IOS...it doesn't work in Android or Web/Desktop access. If I get any further I'll share.

The new Chromebooks that came out with the AMD A4 processors seem to be unable to handle meet as a whole. You can check https://meet.google.com/tools/quality/admin to see what percentages people are hanging out and identify specific users/devices that may be having issues.

No. Calendar event hangouts are different. They do not appear to expire (maybe after event is deleted?). I haven't had an opportunity to really test that.
As for Classroom, is basically uses the same concept as the nickname. The major difference is the link that it creates for students. The URL is https://meet.google.com/lookup/RANDOM. It functions the same as the nickname URL (g.co/meet/NICKNAME).

Hello, my heart goes out to you.
I'm 100% deaf and my speech is so bad that I don't even bother to try and speak to strangers and coworkers. I think in many ways, you have it harder because you sound like you're on the periphery of the hearing world and you get to see up close what you're missing out. Still, I went through a long period of time where I had all that anger and resentment. What you are feeling is normal and justified.
I won't give you advice on how to learn ASL or give inspirational words or anything along these lines. I didn't respond well to that kind of advice because they implied so much extra work on top of my own anger anyway.
Instead, I'll share what I do to communicate with others.
- Sign up for a Google account.
- On your phone, download Google Meet. If you don't have an appropriate phone, DM me your shipping address and I'll send you one, free of charge.
- When connected to the Internet or cell service, start a new meeting (with audio but no camera). Turn on the captions.
I start a Google Meet and use it to chat with others as needed. A Pixel phone has on-device transcribing which is also free and doesn't require an Internet connection, but I prefer iOS.
Solving the speaking side is tougher and still a WIP, but my family and friends are patient enough to wait for me to finishing typing on the phone so they can read it.
Finally, the older folks are correct that you can still do whatever you want! I love giving presentations at my company!

The gist of it aside from proposing a solution to brain in a jar: CFL-QTT conceptually redefines tensor relationships of classical Newtonian motion, and the resulting mechanics construct an immaterial, information-based universe governed by matrix algebra. Information is experienced and simultaneously processed in not 1 but 3 instances of quantized time via a feedback loop (CFL) and conscious ‘awareness duration’ (AD) ≥ 2CFLs. The (tri-simultaneous awareness of information) achieves properties of a (3, 1) Lorentzian manifold without physical space. Unification of fundamental interactions is a small and simple part of CFL-ITT and gets one slide.
There are two alternatives that I know:
- Google Meet (Free): If you'd go to meet.google.com , you'll be able to schedule your meetings and keep them synchronised with your google calendar.
- TidyCal (Paid): On AppSumo, there's an app called TidyCal for 19$ (at the time I'm posting this) and they offer a lifetime deal and looks quite similar to calendaly.

You might want to look into meet.google.com. The business version (that I use at work) has a call-in number for those that cannot connect via video or apps for some reason. For short calls I use Google voice but for long conversations I use meet.google.com instead. For business calls it helps a lot, there was one time where my machine died in the middle of a meeting but I could still call in to the meeting phone number and continue.

You could add a "findtab" function to it that would scroll through ALL open chrome tabs before the If WinExist line. That way, your meeting wouldn't have to be in its own window. I got the below code from the ahk boards a few years ago. It will go through all open windows and then each tab, looking for your window. If it's not found, it will open the url in field two of the function. If you don't want it to open a window, just make the url empty quotes ""

If you have the meeting code you can use the Meet Quality Tool: https://admin.google.com/ac/meet/quality to check who the organizer is. You can also sort by the duration column to see any ongoing meets. Still won't show you what classroom it's attached to, but is good for finding lingering meet sessions. You can also search by participant if you know who was in the meet.

An Attendance Report with the data you mention is automatically sent to all organisers with Enterprise licence. It's also available in the Meet Quality Tool. Also, for all sessions that are recorded the chat is sent to the organiser; in unformatted CSV format, which makes it easier to work with, regardless of where you want the data to end up.
