So use no-aluminium deodorant. Only the antiperspirant has it. There's also antiperspirant that uses cotton by Adidas - that stuff is nice.
I don't use aluminium antip and haven't for a decade+, but there are TONS of alternatives to not using anything at all.
EDIT: It's called Adidas Cotton Tech. Here's a link to Amazon though there are several listings for it. I bought it at a drugstore in Canada. I don't know if it's on the shelves elsewhere.
I have one of their Bluetooth speakers and the sound quality is excellent for the money. It has a few annoying quirks, mainly that the spoken status messages ("connected","battery is at 90 percent" etc) are loud and boomy sounding.
It's this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076WRV766/

The DSC sucks. I was a member until I found out they just send you generic razors that you can buy off Amazon yourself. All the DSC does is stick their logo on the razors and ship them out.
Here is a link to the ones I bought from Amazon recently. Exact same razor that DSC offers, except now I'm buying it from the legit source instead of a b.s third party.
If you haven't looked into a pi-hole for your home network, you should consider installing one. I don't have any adblocking software on my phone or other gadgets, but I never see ads while I am home. It's wonderful. I still swapped to Firefox cuz of this a while back, but still.
You'd think, but it doesn't actually work that way.
For evidence, I point to "The Langoliers", "Under the Dome", "Cell", and the failed attempt to turn "The Shining" into a miniseries.
I think part of the problem is that we just expect a Stephen King story to be adapted at some point. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they turned "On Writing" into a film.
Here... Had to read it for a Fiction and Film class three years ago. Was freaked out at nearly every page. The film version, with James Mason and Peter Sellers, was EXCELLENT (some of the best acting came from Sellers, which is NOT news; such a brilliant talent) but no less creepy.
Recently read a "review" article on ad-blockers, where the author's argument against AdBlockPro is that it "deprives journalists of income!"
Edit: wait... found it!

Here you go, you can read the article when it was originally written back in 2015

Or you can read it two years later with minor changes because they ran out of ideas.

Spoiler alert: she used to like it, but now she hates it because it has become too popular, too mainstream. That's sooooo original.
~~I use Yodora classic deodorant cream. I don't know if it is found worldwide but is common here in Colombia. You can read the product's ingredients and look for one without aluminum and be careful there are some deodorant creams that have aluminum.~~
EDIT: Oh there seems to be a very similar product in amazon. Deodorant aluminum-free.

Our son was born at home, in the same state where this happened (Alabama), illegally, with a midwife who was also an RN (and a second midwife in training).
We were a quarter mile away from a hospital. The midwife had pitocin ready to go in case of hemorrhage. My wife also had seen an obstetrician throughout the pregnancy and he was set to do the delivery, although he didn't know he was Plan B.
Once we had researched it and realized the chances of an unnecessary C-section at a hospital we felt that doing it the way we did was actually safer.
edit: It occurred to me that I had unthinkingly made the assumption that you are in the United States, and that you would know what has been going on here with the huge increase in C-sections over the past thirty years or so, but checking your comments I see you are in Europe. What you are saying may very well be true where you live, but here legal considerations have made hospitals act to protect themselves legally against malpractice lawsuits rather than in a way that is in the best interests of mother and child, and mortality rates in this country for both mother and child have climbed as a result.
edit 2: A bit more information, if you're interested: http://www.consumerreports.org/pregnancy-childbirth/childbirth-what-to-reject-when-youre-expecting/
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Rabbit Hole, here's some Trailers
I use the ghostery plugin it shows you what trackers and plugins are on websites and you can turn them on/off and whitelist them. It's pretty effective and I haven't had any issues with it.
It's also untrue. The game is $60 and and the ultimate edition, which includes the game and premium and some other stuff, costs $130. This is the game and the expansion and some preorder incentives. I would assume that when premium comes out and the game is already out, it'll cost $50-60, maybe they'll stick with $70 but my guess is that'd make people angry and it's only 10 dollars more for the preorder incentives.

Want a "genius" way to save money?
Budget. Count all your money, take note of every income and expenditure, and plan every purchase (or pool "safe money to spend"). Plan ahead of time how much money you think you can save every month and put it into savings as soon as you get it.
And get GNUCash or something. It's pretty fantastic.
I went from living paycheck to paycheck to putting $1000 away a month, and it feels fantastic. Didn't spend a dime on software or anything else, and all it really takes is watching what you're doing. It's seriously transformed my life, and I'd recommend it for absolutely everybody. It's a few hours to set up at first and get all your things balanced, but once you're in the swing of it, it's maybe 10 minutes a week every week to keep your budget up to date. The best part is it doesn't even feel like I'm spending less money. It feels like free money.

I use NordVPN which has obfuscation techniques that basically make your VPN connection appear as a normal connection. My school Wi-Fi blocks VPNs but when I use Nord it has no idea and I'm able to browse normally. I know there are other VPNs with obfuscation. Have you tried one?
Yes, but it's much less diverse than it once was, and it has become intensely racially segregated - the area where this woman lives is almost all white.
Last year I bought 60 white washcloths from Amazon. I use them once, hang them to dry, and then wash them in bleach when I'm running low. I don't think I can ever go back to loofahs.
Eh, not really. > older phones that used plastics... gorilla glass
The "cheaper" plastics in older phones are actually more durable than glass because, to quote JerryRigEverything "Glass is glass and glass breaks." Gorilla glass is scratch-resistant but not more resistant to, say, drops. And a plastic screen ala the Switch + a tempered glass screen protector will have the exact same feel of a regular glass screen but the screen will actually survive a drop and the only thing that gets scratched is the screen protector.
> expensive phones now are made of aluminum, unibody designs
Aluminium isn't a particularly expensive metal and it's not that hard to make into a "phone" shape which is why Xiaomi can pump out phones for 200$ with aluminium bodies. Pretty much any midrange phone has an aluminium body.
> extremely high res
Which the market has shown it doesn't care about thanks to the failures of the 4K display Sony and LG phones and the success of the iPhone XR with a ~720p screen. > oled
If anything this is the thing that makes a big difference but, again, midrange Xiaomi and Samsung phones have had OLED screens for ages now.
> waterproof
I'll give you that one although a few flagships aren't waterproof and even then most phones have rubber seals making the phone "water-resistant".
> have super advanced processors, ai chips
Oh, lookie here. A $400 phone that has the exact same CPU as all the other latest flagships. It even has that fancy glass back, nice sensors and OLED screen you mentioned. Hmmmmmmm...
All jokes aside, the only phones that deserve any praise in this regard are the iPhones because their CPUs are insanely good.
> multiple high quality cameras and sensors
I'll also give you that one but nowadays even midrange phones have cameras that are "good enough" for the average person.
I guess that depends on the number of servings you're having.
Edit: It also depends on type/ABV of the beer in question. For example, Ballast Point Sculpin IPA has 20g per bottle, along with 240 kcal, so, 4 or 5 can fuck up your day's caloric limits and macros all in one.

This is exactly why we made Sugar Info AI: https://www.messenger.com/t...
Send it a ingredient label, and it'll return all the processed ingredients.
Send it a nutrition label, and it'll return the sugar amount in a easily understandable gif.
But it says right here "#1 Best Seller in Electronics"
Also not a shill. I use White Noise at night, and youtube at work.
Yeah, this is what I imagined. It's just less useful because they're internal IDs rather than the publicly known name.
Actually we can look up all the apps by replacing the URL here, which goes to candy crush:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.king.candycrushsaga
Just replace the ID at the back.
EDIT: Looks like Google already pulled all these apps so we can't find them on the store. But at least those do seem to be like unique identifiers!
Ahh, thanks for the insightful comment.
ABC is a great news source imho. They have a couple apps.
ABC News: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=android.AbcApplication
As the name suggests, has News. Also has a free live stream of their ABC News 24 tv channel (24/7 news). Also has streaming of their 36 different Radio stations broadcast all over the country.
ABC Radio:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thisisaim.abcradio
Basically a more fully featured app for the same Radio stations offered in the News app.
I'm not sure if these apps work out of Australia though. I'm sure other Radio apps like TuneIn will probably allow you to listen though.
Let me know if they work out of australia!
Edit: apparently they also make an app for expats (Australians living overseas). Interestingly enough this app mentions it contains ads (unlike any of their others). It's also not as highly rated as the others
Amazon, first result that shows just regular clear bulbs.
Oh, they probably made some justification to themselves to make them feel fine about pushing out a headline like this. Most people don't think they're "scumbags".
But yeah, I don't that at the time of their schooling, they would think they would be doing something like this. But then, when they're writing, the ideas I want to be a good journalist and I want to increase my views, even if it is done dishonestly can be in conflict, so they may try to rationalize the latter by thinking that it isn't so bad to be a little misleading. Their values change due to this rationalization. It's cognitive dissonance.

If you want to learn more about this kind of stuff, you might be interested in finding a textbook on social psychology. I've read Aronson's book and liked it.
This is the biggest bunch of BS I've ever seen.
>Gaming consoles are likely to be left plugged in and on as the TV, but it consumes a significant 15kWh per hour
Uhhh, NO. Just no. 15 kWh per hour means an average draw 15 kW (15,000 watts). The most a normal 15 AMP US home plug is rated for is 1,800 Watts at 100% load. A home EV car charger can't even provide 15 kW. That would be 62.5 Amps at 240V. There's no freaking way.
So, what is it? Well, I just ran my home theater though a Kilowatt to see what it's drawing on stand by. I have 4 video game consoles (including a PS5), a Hi-Fi AV receiver, a Roku, and an Alexa. It's pulling less than 60 Watts at idle. That's a significant amount of power, but still less than 15 kWh per week.
> it can give out a surprising saving when switched off completely.
What type of fancy ass kettle are you using. My kettle has a mechanical switch. It draws 0 AMPs at standby.
>“If your alarm clock is mains operated and is plugged in all the time, it can cost you around £24.48 annually.
Finally one that's possible!! ... but not probable.
Using today's energy prices, that alarm clock would have to pull 5 Watts. A modern clock pulls 0.5 to 1 W.
If you're still rocking your grandparents 1970s alarm clock with an incandescent bulb, you're probably pulling 5 watts. But most of those are long in the trash.
My favorite Makita gadget is the coffee maker that runs on their batteries. Wish I would have had this back when I was in the trades.
There's actually a genuinely great one that I've used for many years now, called (wait for it) Photo Editor. I don't think it has anything to do with the ones listed here though.
The dev really ought to give it a less generic name though!
Just fyi, my dentists have told me not to use a toothbrush but especially don't use toothpaste. It is too abrasive and will wear the plastic down faster. They have all recommended those denture cleaner tablets. Like these:

Mullvad, iVPN. Any VPN that's considered secure and also has port forwarding is what you want for torrenting. Port forwarding essentially allows your computer to connect to a lot more people which will dramatically increase your download speeds.

You missed a pretty important detail that the article writer discussed: instant chai.
Chai is delicious but making a good one is usually a lot of effort. Hence, why we reach for instant hot chocolate. Instant chai makes it easy. This is the one she recommended:

👙“ANDY THE HERO”🎼
This is an interesting story book.
I read this story 4 times and I am fascinated.
So I shared with you, it will be good to read.
I quite literally said in the previous post that even the right mindset can be hard to have.
I doubt you need experience of countries outside usa. Just think back to when black people were slaves.
Even if one of them got to the point where they could run away and build a house, they would still have to take care of everything themselves, nobody would sell them anything or help them, and 90% of the time a white person would see them, they would very likely assume they would be a runaway slave, or act horrible towards them, since they realize nobody would stop them.
"Yes if one person has done it, others can do it too. This has been shown over and over in history" I assume this is in respone to when i mention no human is in the exact same scenario? I assume you didnt read that part or that you disagree on that, because otherwise this sentence is useless.
Also, i would like you to explain for example a person with extreme adhd would find a decent size of success in a 3rd world country that has does not acknowledge the disorder, when the (executive function)[https://www.webmd.com/add-adhd/guide/executive-function] is a pretty important part of having the right mindset and working hard?
If you get a browser privacy add-on that tells you what it blocks (like Ghostery ) you’ll be surprised how many places Google & Facebook are tracking your activity. It’s basically everywhere and it’s a bit silly to think they can’t identify you with all the data they have.
Yep, Motley Fool foolishness. Pretty good conversation on the coming AI-calypse at the "other Reddit" https://disqus.com/home/channel/scifi/discussion/channel-scifi/are_we_destined_to_become_or_be_replaced_by_machines/#comment-3479919019
I said "if they work while they travel".
I got shower slippers similar to these for my mom when she was in assisted living. Easy to put on and take off, but they didn't fall off by themselves. Lots of colors. Lots of compliments.
A top tier one is about $250... you can a acre 5 for $100 more and it’s expandable ... it’s like the old business about the poverty trap sorry about the guy who buys crappy boots often and the middle class person buys one good boot for a long time.
It’s like that
> Not if they cant afford to buy land.
They can rent or homestead. Survival takes work. This has been true since the beginning of time. How you want to survive is your choice.
Let's look at history. United States from the creating to the early 1900s was pretty close to libertarianism and was the single greatest economic boom of any group of people mankind has ever seen. There were rich people and poor people but the standard of living and economic wealth increased massively for everyone for that century- century and a half.
> It isn’t looking great for the labour market. People can’t afford to retrain or start a business
You say that but there are more unfilled jobs now than there were 20 years ago. Amazon is automating more and more, yet hiring more and more.
The automation scare has been around for 100s of years. It is a myth that automation decreases wealth. It increases standard of living for everyone by increasing economic production.
You have a very warped and misunderstood idea of economics. I highly recommend you read some background information. Economics in one Lesson by Henry Hazlitt is a good primer.
Current versions of Android let you disable location unless in use and whatnot. For anybody else, or say for instance to disable storage access while an app is not in use check out Bouncer. It works in the background if rooted but still works (you just see the Android permission screen flash as it disables them) if not rooted. This should be fully baked into Android IMO.

I had been wanting to install one for awhile and finally bought one after the first run on toilet paper. Toilet paper usage has gone way down and of course, the other benefits. I tried to send a link where I bought it to a friend a week later and that model was sold out, as were a few others I checked. So it turned out I had great timing for a change.
*edit: It's back in stock now, and although it the only one I have experience with, I definitely recommend it. All the fittings are very high quality so I don't worry about it leaking like so many other models I was looking at. Worth every penny.

I got one of these because I had held onto my lg v20 as long as I could because of the ir blaster. It works pretty well. I haven't found any devices that I couldn't get to work. At home, I mostly use Amazon Fire cubes for the majority of stuff to control ir but nothing beats an ir blaster for travel so you don't have to touch hotel remotes.

I've had my safety razor for about 6 and a half years now and in that time I've spent about $30 on blades. I got a variety pack on Amazon which had a bunch of different blades, about half were crap and I tossed them. I settled on these, made by Feather, which are like shaving with a goddamn katana. 100 blades will last me a few years.
Full disclosure: I have a full beard and only use my razor on my neck once a month-ish and on captain winky every other month-ish
Nowhere near as good as it used to be, especially since nzbmatrix disappeared. I use Newshosting $10/month with 2 free indexers (usenetcrawler and OZNZB). Set up Sonarr for TV and Radarr for Movies.
Certain shows can be a pain in the tits to get via usenet, I sometimes have to torrent them instead.
I was listening to a radio show and there was a couple counselor on talking about the way men and women think. The way she said it made a lot of sense to me so maybe it will make sense to you too.
She said men think like waffles, women think like spaghetti.
To expand on that, men typically think in more compartmentalized way. They get into a thought and they are there, they don't usually think outside what they are focusing on so it can lead to issues in relationships when a man is trying to focus on something and a woman will ask about something out side that pocket. The man has to take some time to 'move' to another part of the waffle.
She explained that women typically think in a more entangled way. When you hear a story from a women, many times it may feel like the beginning of the story isn't going to lead to a conclusion because woman's thoughts are more 'knotted' and intertwined with each other. She stated an example where in dating, odd ball things will remind them of their partner because of some long thought process that is intertwined with thoughts about her relationship.
I think I got that right, it's been a few years since I've heard it but it made sense. If you are curious to hear it better explained, there was a website that explains it better: https://rockyourmarriage.org/men-like-waffles-women-like-spaghetti/
and a book by the couple I heard on the radio: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0736919619/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=andreaforten-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=0736919619&linkId=abacf79d5f0e8afb535541bfa4ca0be3
I read Shattered and I found it fascinating. You are correct in saying Bill was ignored.
I have and love this book. It is a graphic novel done by several well known comic artists with the Grimm versions of many of the stories Here. A fun place to find an overview of the tellings and then able to seek out the specific stories I want to read in entirety.
Nah, USA. StarKist has tuna pouches.

If you can find a copy, "Absinthe: History in a Bottle" does a great job of describing the rise, use/abuse/fascination by famous artists, scandals attributed to, and eventual ban of Absinthe. Great book if, like me, you really wish you could try the real deal.
