I think you'd like reading Billion Dollar Painter by G. Eric Kluskey. Facinating to read about Kinkade's self destruction, and how all the evangelical fans got financially fleeced opening their own Kinkade galleries.
You can buy the soft serve mix on Amazon direct from Dole. The mix can be made in any consumer ice cream maker. According to the product description it's "Exactly the same as found in Disneyland and Hawaii".
In the book Disneywar, the author did a short stint as Goofy and he mentions a sheet he was given during training, which listed some of Goofy's main characteristics, one of which was that he always strives to be a gentleman.
It starts around page 1960 if you're more interested.
For what it's worth, Disneyland is distributing multi-lingual sheets describing the selfie stick ban. I was just at the park this past Friday, and every car coming into the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure was being given a sheet describing the ban in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese. I scanned the sheet, and it can be viewed here: http://tinypic.com/r/34tbcc0/8
Granted, this only impacts those driving into the park, but at least it's a step in the right direction. Perhaps they could keep a stack of those pamphlets at security screening.
I'd reccommend either one with a higher capacity like this Anker, or the FuelRod System, that allows you to switch out a battery as often as you'd like in the parks. I lean more towards the FuelRod, but that's because I head to the parks pretty often.
Looks like they're just pulling their data from OpenStreetMap. So its all just crowdsource-edited stuff. Those tags for the coming SWL attractions have been in there for a while, actually.
That was one of the few things I didn't buy at the Parks. I got it on Amazon.
I love Ain’t Nothing Like The Great Outdoors and Walkin Right Down the Middle of Main Street USA!
The dvd is also available on Amazon for $9.99.

Honestly renting a car is a pretty good option, but if you're from NZ and not used to crowds or traffic jumping into LA traffic will be an eye opener. I found another topic started by an Aussie here that says a Cab will run you about a $100 dollars US each way without traffic. Good luck not having any traffic in LA. The topic has an outline for how to use other transport options(the Metrolink + busses) to get to and from Beverly Hills to Disneyland.
Can you book a hotel near Disneyland for two days so that you don't need to travel during your Disney Visit? Keep in mind that after spending nearly all day in the parks you'll then need to do a combination of walking, bus riding, and train hopping to return to Beverly Hills which is a 40 minute ride away directly by car. It wouldn't surprise me if it took two hours using public transport. That’s each way both days. Having a nearby hotel to return to via walking or a free hotel shuttle would really be your best bet if you do not want to drive. LA, and most of Socal, is a driving city and has pretty crappy public transport. You also probably won’t meet the best of people traveling late at night on public transport in LA.
As to crowds December can be some of the worst crowds in Disneyland. You’re going on a Tuesday and a Wednesday which is good because kids will be in school still and the locals will mostly be at work. Touringplans.com has those days list at 4 out of 10(10 being completely full) so the crowds on the Disney Scale won’t be too bad. You may find portions of the park to be quite packed, shoulder to shoulder, after shows and in tight areas but you should be ok. It’s hard to know how to describe the crowds to you as we don’t have similar frames of reference. What I might consider not too bad you might think it crazy packed in like sardines.
Funny story about the app.
So I have an Android App which you can grab right here.
I have been trying to get an app for iOS approved for over a month.
Apple is a lot more stringent on what they allow into the app store. Knowing this, I submitted an app devoid of any "Disney" branding / naming (there are already other apps on the app store with "Disney" in their name, but I just wanted to make sure).
The app went into review for over a week, and I got a email from they saying that the app could be misleading to people because it looks "Too professional and can be mis-interpreted as an official Disneyland sanctioned app".
So I really don't know what to do.
There is actually a book that has a picture of every Main Street window around the world, and its significance. Here is the link on Amazon.
For someone trying to pass themselves off as haughty, OP sure sucks with grammar, punctuation and definitions.
Also, Disney 101 is skipping the fireworks and parades to ride rides with shorter lines. It's not like you've discovered some amazing hidden tip. Same with riding rides at night. Who doesn't know that it's different than the day...mostly cuz...ummm the sun is down and the lights are on?
Tuppence. I don't think that word means what you think it means.
I normally don't bag on people's experiences, but seeing as OP took it upon themselves to crap on others...
According to weather.com, the record for Disneyland on July 6th was 92 degrees, set in 2006 I believe. It's safe to say most places in Southern California broke record high temps today. Once you factor in all the warm bodies packing Disneyland, putting off heat, it's probably even hotter than what the actual temp is. I hope when it's this hot Disney provides free cold water to guests. It's kind of a dick move to have force them to buy water.
Thanks for saying it looks good! I definitely made some mistakes but it was fun (two major mistakes plus many others) but they are hard to see since it's so small).
If I'm giving "pro tips" I'd say:
1) Make sure you have good tools, I used a pair of cutters and some needle nose pliers. I really wish I had smaller pliers since these were really hard to get in to some tight spaces. I got a kit from amazon but in all honesty you are probably going to get a better deal and better quality from your local hardware store.
2) Take your time. I did this over the course of 2-3 days and probably put about 6 hours into it. I could have done a much better job if I went slower.
3) If you have something very small that can be used to help make curves it helps a LOT. The hardest parts of this one were all of the tubular parts. Most of them don't look all that great in person in my opinion but it's because I didn't have a good form to shape them with so it was all free hand.
Hope this helps!
Call guest services to be 100% sure. If for some reason they don't, would a nice set of plastic ones work fir your relative? Sistema has a set that's interchangeable and has a spoon, knife (leave this one at home), fork, and chopsticks tips that you can swap out. Found on Amazon and they're relatively cheap.
I think 3.5 days is a short time to visit when the flight take several hours. A WDW'er could do Anaheim's offering in 2 days- DCA isn't worth a whole day. There's other threads about what a WDW'er should prioritize.
As for greater LA, area... depends what you're into. There's Hollywood Late Night Standup or the things listed by Tripadvisor.
After I got my pass, I became a big fan of entertainment, and the more nuanced aspects of DLR. Right now, two of my favourite activities include Cars Land Lighting (right around sunset in Anaheim, and changes daily), and the Goat Run at Big Thunder Ranch (Ask a Big Thunder Ranch Petting Zoo CM about the time).
It's the most adorable stampede I've ever seen.
If you have a Costco card, I'd recommend going to buy some Filas. Super light like a feather. I wear them all the time in Disneyland and they feel great (though do break them in before wearing them at Disneyland).
I've been playing around with a polling system that lets you pick one of two options before showing you two new options.
A ranking is created but it doesn't require every visitor to vote on every step of the bracket.
So... I made one for Disneyland rides. Visit the link and pick your favorite of the two. Do that as many times as you want.
Or view the results in real time.
Several methods.
Also as /u/pardus79 says google Bus LA to Anaheim (try this link LINK, gives you all the options
I agree with the cellular network time accuracy.
I suggest for Android users to get GPSTest or similar that will show you the time directly from the GPS satellites by the second and that again is very accurate for GPS to work in the first place.
For the data connection. Find WiFi that was the lowest ping time using speed tests. You may be on a gigabit connection but if the ping time is 100 ms or more, you are at a disadvantage. I haven’t tried it myself but maybe attach an Ethernet cable using USB-C to Ethernet adapters or for the iPhone https://www.apple.com/shop/product/HMJU2ZM/A/belkin-ethernet-power-adapter-with-lightning-connector
Restart the phone, close other apps and good luck!
I'm a big fan of this one from Outdoor Research.
Atoms are also comfortable and easier to stuff in a pocket since they are unstructured.
I also love Disneyland. Do you have Disneyland decor around your house?
I’ve decorated my home office with a haunted mansion print (the elevator pics), as well as a couple Disneyland themed Funkos. They made an Alice in a teacup funko and Minnie riding Dumbo. I’ve been eyeing the Disneyland castle funko, but waiting to see if it’ll get cheaper. I got a hallmark haunted mansion Xmas ornament with the 3 hitchhikers. It lights up and has the voice of when you first get into the elevator. I push that button occasionally and I love it. Brings me right back to the ride. Etsy also has Disneyland themed candles. I want to buy a pirates of the Caribbean themed one.
I found a middle ground between a LifeProof case and a thin Ziploc with something like this from Amazon, and so far so good!
https://imgur.com/SmAQRBQ I got myself one of these to attach to my lanyard! It has the front clear slot, and two slots in the back. I put my card & license in the back slots, ap in the front. :) Here's the Amazon link! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017TH4OPI?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
You can find it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Disneyland-Exclusive-Decorative-Border-Puzzle/dp/B005H8GKWM It's also available at Disneyland and WDW.
It's a little more maintenance than a candle and you have to buy a diffuser (got mine on Amazon for $15), but in the long run it costs less and feels less wasteful. You can also do as little or as many drops as you want, so it's easier to control the smell strength. I've had my first set of 4 for nearly a year now and they still haven't run out, but then again up until the quarantine started I only used them maybe once or twice a week. Distilled water is a must to keep the diffuser clean.
Personally haven't expereienced it, but here is some information.
You can get the times from Time and Date.com the lights will be within a few minutes of sunset but the street intersection will fill up quickly if that's where you want to view from (starts at Stanley's statue and goes down towards Sarge's Hut.)
Star Tours was not always based on Star Wars, it was only in the last couple of years that it has transformed into tours of the SW universe. Now that Disney has acquired the Star Wars name, they are going to begin turning Tomorrowland into Star Wars land based on the upcoming Episode VII.
Direct google maps link: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=33.812083,-117.918988&hl=en&ll=33.812083,-117.918985&spn=0.010465,0.017166&sll=33.809337,-117.918277&sspn=0.010466,0.017166&t=m&z=16
Had to check if they labeled the real Splash Mountain "Space Mountain", but they didn't. :-)
My suggestion would to park near Orangewood, and then walk over to the Toy Story lot and take the Bus to the park: https://maps.google.com/?ll=33.796517,-117.911904&spn=0.01061,0.022724&t=m&z=16
Be advised that this has become a popular option, and these neighborhoods fill up quickly. They've also become a target for theft, because of the fact that people are not around their car all day.
Most of the other neighborhoods in the park radius have strict parking limits to discourage theme park parking.
You could also check GardenWalk, and see if the parking gates are up when pulling in. They've been in financial trouble, and haven't been staffing the parking on most weekdays, and some weekends.
>Disney fans are kind of akin to Apple or Nintendo fans -
You nailed it. Interestingly enough there is now an Apple super-fan dating site called Cupidtino.
I also am out of the target audience of a Disney dating site, though I do love Disney as a brand and their parks are great fun. However, I recently became an annual passholder and through my girlfriend I have met a lot of other passholders, some of them being Disney superfans and let me tell you... a lot of them love Disney so much that they require a partner who loves it as much as they do. Just like anything else people are extremely passionate about. After visiting D23 for the first time I decided my buddy is really on to something with this site.
Are you okay with going out of the park? If so I'd have to recommend Oggi's. Again, I'm going to recommend joining their text message specials since you'll get a free order of Oggi's Sticks (See Cheese Bread sticks) upon doing so. The Grub Hub website leads you to the one in Fullerton but there is another location on Chapman and Harbor that's closer to the parks.
https://www.grubhub.com/la/oggis-pizza--brewing-co-chapman-ave/
In the parks however I have to say....Breadbowl with the gumbo out of the bowl. You can fully eat and dip the bread in the gumbo while being able to keep the bread with you for later since it's dry.
To all those who are wondering, while I'm not OP, the moving timelapse shots were likely made with Microsoft Hyperlapse Which is completely different in it's technology to Instagram Hyperlapse. While Instagrams offering is great and works well for many applications, the Microsoft Hyperlapse is much more advance and uses an entirely different approach to the timelapse effect.
Here is an explanation of the differences from Microsoft. Though it's fairly technical.
This is the one I use for hiking and Disney. I like it because you can roll it up real small or when it is full you can clip it on to something. Very durable as well. I have had other brands of these that were not as nice.
I used the Insta360 ONE X2, which is a 360 degree camera.
I'm really happy with how the footage came out. You can see my hand (and the camera) shaking like crazy, but the video still looks really smooth.
I can't recommend these cameras enough. I picked one up on Amazon about 8 months ago, it was a great deal. The beautiful thing is you can spend more money over time on lenses and they will work with kore cameras in this line.
You might also want to look at their lens cameras Sony DSC-QX10/B Smartphone Attachable 4.45-44.5mm Lens-Style Camera https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EVIJWXS/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_lyGEub169QTDR
If this helps and hopefully could bring some magic to you and your brother, there's a Mickey Mouse waffle iron that you can buy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Disney-DCM-1-Classic-Brushed-Stainless/dp/B005PO9UUC
:)
As someone who collects Pops, I have yet to see any of these whenever I go to the parks.
I would assume that the odds of getting one of these exclusive Pops is right there with getting the limited edition Trader Sam cups. Basically, the same day that they are released, they are sold out within hours (and they are almost never replenished).
I wish you luck in your quest, but I can guarantee you that these are most likely harder to get than any Chase.
EDIT: If it's any consolation, I see that the new Jolly Rogers are on Amazon. Good news is that there is Amazon Prime for it so you get free shipping, it'll only set you back $125! -_-
Hi there, would you happen to know if things that are sold on Amazon and Ebay are generally fakes? Here is an example of an Amazon listing:
https://www.amazon.com/Disney-Pins-Official-Trading-Duplicates/dp/B007JOMBZ2
It doesn't seem to be from a real company of any sort. There are other listings that just say "sold by command777" which sounds like a random dude that put up the listing. The reviews seem to say they are legit but who knows.
it appears that ONE of their albums is still available on CD on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Our-Shoes-Bayou-Brass-Band/dp/B00000IAMX/ref=ntt_mus_ep_dpi_1
My favorite album was their Christmas album, but at this point, you take what you can get, I guess.
My boyfriend found the backpacks on Amazon. We then used finger nail polish remover with acetone to remove the pattern and lable. I then hand embroidered the signatures. :)
Link for backpacks: Outlander Packable Handy Lightweight Travel Hiking Backpack Daypack-Red-L https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q9SHB9U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_P4TqBbA1SJYW6
I know I've seen it at Target/CVS/Walgreens/etc, and definitely on Amazon. It's amazing, and some places sell it in colors, so you can match to something fun! (first link I saw, not necessarily the best) -- I recommend doing a test run with it before you go to Disney, just so you're familiar with how it sticks.
I don't usually recommend them over Disney's official video planning guides, but since you're insistent upon having written literature, you could get one of the many guidebooks that you can find on Amazon.
Dole Whip is just a powder- you can buy it on Amazon and make it with any home ice cream maker.
https://www.amazon.com/Dole-Soft-Serve-Pineapple-Pound/dp/B01666JBFG
I substitute whole milk instead of water, which makes it way creamier and better than what's served in the park.
I wouldn't say you're trying to do too much at all...it looks like you may have some extra time both days, especially if you're going mid-week.
I would recommend a Fastpass for Radiator Springs Racers first thing, and no fast pass for Tower of Terror which sometimes has a line that's not too bad.
EDIT: Also, if you have an iOS or Android smartphone and have not already done so, download the Disneyland app (iOS link / Android link) - it really does come in handy for looking at wait times and it covers both Disneyland and DCA.
https://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-08-0183-Valve-Remover/dp/B001KO84I0
This completely unrelated tool allows you to remove the core from a valve stem making it so you can’t refill the tire without a new one.
I wear these on boats and in water all the time. I’ve never had an issue. They may not look pretty, but just put them on before the stairs and take them off after the ride.
You can DIY!
Still using the Georgia Pacific battery or plug in towel dispensers with a blue plastic front on them (or similar?)
You need a key [like this](amazon.com/Georgia-Commercial-Grade-Universal-Dispenser-Dispensers/dp/B00DDULFPS) to open them if finally locked or to use the settings on the right side (facing forward) to adjust the length and delay (plus hanging or non hanging options)
I'm former disneyland night custodial (3NC if it matters to know i'm not talking out my butt) from 2007-2009. Then they still had old paper towel dispensers where you had to insert the bundled stacks of them versus having a roll nowadays. Up until I stopped visiting (2019) I'd clear jambs and reset the settings (if able to on the machine, some hung over sinks so it wasn't a good idea, just cleared the jams) due to carrying one of the keys on my ring pictured as well as others from jobs i've had over the years.
If they are frequently jamming (most likely) then what is needed is the paper towel dust blown out.
You'll probably have to kick it over to night custodial due to it's nature, but find someone willing to take into consideration a plug in air blower
My last custodial job in a casino always had the towel machines jamming up, and I was able to borrow one from a guy who fixed the TITO (ticket in ticket out) machines. Massive night and day difference.
Unless it's changed, there was kitchens east/west (bathrooms in the same department) and then the outside cases like esplanade having their own restrooms to clean and so forth. So it would be easy for both leads (keep in mind I only know the department in <2009 terms) to have one and go around blowing out the towel dispensers
There is a great book written by a Disneyland historian and ghost hunter called “The Park After Dark”, which has the best ghost stories and more. Definitely fascinating to read especially while waiting in the lines.
https://www.amazon.com/Park-After-Dark-Original-Unauthorized/dp/1534607137
How cute! Love the daisies as ears. I wear Disney Cinderella Pin Trader Convertible Backpack https://a.co/5CTzUEN
Take like 2 seconds to inflate and was 100% better than just sitting on the ground while we waited for F!, Parades, shows, and even when Indy broke down on us. Takes almost no space or weight but was super nice to have.
Seat cushions ok to bring in? Trying to think about waiting for fantasmic/MSEP and sitting on the ground for over an hour. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PF813G5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
How strict is the park with “costumes”? I’d like to wear a dress that is similar to Belle’s but I don’t know if it would count as “dressing up” and if they would not let me into the park over it. Would something like this be okay? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WR219N4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1FDWPHPJQWAT9ZF4CD6E?psc=1
It was one of the few Disney Parks books that weren't just tour guides in our library so I read it. I haven't read it since I became a CM, so I should probably go back and see if things compare, but some things I remember is that it's definitely an autobiographical memoir, so it includes a lot of random details of the author's personal life and relationship with his brother and mother.
There are a lot of things that feel overdone, like a good chunk of the book is about how he got "in" with his fellow CMs because he would take backstage photos of the various characters doing things they "shouldn't" and give them the prints. I'm sure this happens but I feel like if it was happening en masse to the scale that this singular photographer says he was doing it, we'd see waaaay more of those kinds of photos on the internet.
I think the DCP was briefly mentioned but didn't really get a major analysis. I think if you're doing an assessment of how many CMs are just ragtag kids trying to escape from their real life problems and responsibilities, the kids who are doing the DCP are likely going to make up a big chunk, and especially would be the ones more willing to push it in terms of messing with the Disney brand, since their time with the company is inherently short term.
I think it's worth a read just for sheer entertainment value, similar to how you'd watch someones Youtube vlogs on "My Disney CM journey!!" but take it with a grain of salt because it's much more of a memoir than it is a critical analysis or real research.
my friend has the same problem with her Ahsoka and Ariel ears that she loves to wear in the park but ends up taking off after an hour or two. i hope you find a way that works for you, whether from advice here or coming up with an alternative of your own.
i'd almost be curious to know (since this just popped in my head as i was typing this) if you or anyone else has tried to line the band with a foam padding, or if that would just create more pressure due to the smaller space the extra width creates. i've used window insulating strips of foam in some of my cosplay props (namely along the brow and nose inside my helmets) it's only 1/8" thick (and 1/2" wide) but made a world of difference.
Congrats on starting your collection! Seeing how they fit on your bag, they might fall off from the rubber mickey head backing if an object inside pushes the pin too much outward. You can get locking ones like these to prevent that: https://www.amazon.com/SUBANG-Count-Locking-Keepers-Storage/dp/B01LYS7N9J
it looks like you only need Android 8.0 to run it (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.disney.wdpro.dlr&hl=en\_US&gl=US), but I've seen before that it also needs bluetooth, so check if your phones have that. if they don't, you may want to call the customer service line to see if they can offer a resolution for how to use your genie+ (usually I'd recommend the chat in the app as it's easier than the phone, but since you can't download the app, prepare for a long phone wait)
Used this at the park for years when we were APs. Water bottle holder held our 40oz Hydroflask and chest strap made the weight manageable.

Good luck! If this one doesn't work for you either, there is supposedly a Disney-approved Mint Julep recipe in this magazine too. I haven't bought it, otherwise I'd check for you and see if it's any different.
My Aunt is very temperature sensitive because of her MS and we found that having a cooling towel (and staying hydrated) helps so much! You should be able to find them at most pharmacies (CVS, Rite Aid, etc). They have them at Disneyland as well, but those are definitely much more expensive! Just get it damp, swing it around a little bit and voila! Works great, something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B082HNFVVZ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_GGSY8XVGNBY2G2PA16PQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
How dare you just nonchalantly drop that idea in our heads, and not provide links?
Ice cream maker (the reviews say this one makes soft serve)
i made it digitally and it uses some parts in colors they don’t come in in real life so you won’t be able to build it but you can see the parts needed to build it by going into the editor here
No problem. The important rides would be all the Mountains, Pirates, Indy, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, etc. Because they are the most popular, have the most effects, most fun, classic rides, etc. The ones that most capture the spirit of Disney.
Also, I highly recommend this book for first timers or people who haven't been there in a long time. It's amazing for planning your trip: https://www.amazon.com/Unofficial-Guide-Disneyland-2022-Guides/dp/1628091274
Worth noting- the Hatbox Ghost's return had nothing to do with Guillermo Del Toro's announced film.
Yes, he had said he would include it in the film so that "they'll have to bring it back!" but there were already Imagineers who had been trying to get it back in for decades. Hatbox Ghost merchandise had long been some of the best selling for the Mansion, and the 60th provided an excellent opportunity to return it.
There had been an attempt to return it to the Mansion in the 2000's that didn't come to fruition.
This Season Pass episode has an interview with the Imagineers who built the version currently in the Mansion if you want to learn the actual story of it's return.
Trust me, if the Hatbox Ghost needed to be in the mansion for it to make sense in Guillermo's film, then that'd be the worst screenplay ever. Anyone with even a cursory interest in Disneyland/The Haunted Mansion already knew the story of the Hatbox Ghost. And Disney doesn't alter rides to include film elements for films that aren't even in production.
Thank you oh wise space ranger! I assume that the red arrow in this picture, which I found just looking for a picture of him in the ride, is pointing to it? https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=zurg+buzz+lightyear+astro+blasters&view=detailv2&&id=FAEB4FF6C059024F43AB3E59CA03913C3952881F&selectedIndex=6&ccid=s1xIliG2&simid=608054721762889147&thid=OIP.Mb35c489621b6956a38ec9e2...
It's great to get out of your comfort zone, isn't it? :D I'm so glad you were able to join us!
For those of you who'd like to see the image I got as well (although I doubt there are many of you, mine is here.)
Thanks! I converted the film using a Wolverine 8mm & Super 8 digitizer. After I it was in a digital file format, I did some cleaning up using a script I found online that uses Avisynth to do some color correcting, white balance, noise removal, etc. Here's a link to a forum post that I followed that goes into the process a little more: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=144271

I will be there. I will be participating in the "DCA MiceQuest," a sort of scavenger hunt style event put on by the Disneyland fan website Micechat.
More info: http://www.eventzilla.net/web/event?eventid=2139000335
I think anyone can register and just join in the fun, if you want. Otherwise, have a great day in the parks. Going alone can be a lot of fun, as others have said.
I have stayed here:
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1359724
The host, Ryan, was very welcoming and had everything we needed ready for us at the place. I traveled with a group of 5 and this was definitely enough space for us. Disney was only a 10 minute drive away using the surface streets. The duplex is located in a safe area right across from an elementary school.
found it. Check out the pictures of the place and read the reviews of how filthy the place is, especially her responses. It sounds like she's renting a couple of rooms in her house so you share the bathroom with another bedroom (and maybe the owner and her kids) and this room has a pocket door leading to the bathroom so there is zero security. The owner lives in the house with 2 dogs and an unknown number of kids.
I didn’t find them on Etsy. But you can maybe find them on Amazon the patches I found alone were all WDW
Not sure if you’re looking for men’s or women’s designs but for women’s I really like these. I got them and didn’t even wear them in before and it was no problem. They’re lightweight and not super expensive. Held up in light rain.

in case you're serious about the "nothing". It's like a glove for your foot so there's minimal chaffing and/or blistering
Exactly! If anyone reading this is confused but would like to know how to invest so that you can retire, I suggest borrowing this book from the library.

The key really is to find a mask that fits your face and has a nose wire and adjust the wire to fit your nose well.
I've been wearing these folded n95's: http://powecom.com/
I really like that the mask doesn't touch my lips. You can get them from a couple of authorized dealers like Bonafide Masks.
Before I switched to n95's I was using something like this: 3M Daily Face Mask, Reusable, Washable, Adjustable Ear Loops, Lightweight Cotton Fabric, 5 Pack, Gray https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LB2GKZK/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_0RBJYZXH7T57ER4N3AQ1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

So I used this code for my sorcerer Mickey hat with ws2812b LED strip lights inside of it in a spiral, I did a bunch of other effects but the lighting is my favorite. Hope it helps.
As for audio effects, DFPlayer Mini is a cheap add on board that can be driven by the arudino to play audio. https://www.amazon.com/Organizer-YX5200-DFPlayer-Supporting-Arduino/dp/B07XXYQBNS/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=1EGAUO3Q0GRMN&dchild=1&keywords=dfplayer+mini&qid=1630255931&sprefix=dfplayer+mini&sr=8-4
I've only tinkered with them a little bit, but form my intial testing they seemed great for the purpose of playing audio clips. Now sync and audio and the thunder effects can be really difficult. That would require working out the timing of the audio playing with time delays inside the arudino code to make the effects line up.
Totally agreed, I’m the same! I bought this Fanny pack recently and it’s pretty roomy. What I usually do is keep some travel sized sunscreen in my Fanny pack but then keep a full sized bottle in my backpack
I get the cheaper version on Amazon, shipped free with Prime if you do that. It already seems silly buying body wash for $18, but somehow less silly when you figure it could be $3 more (plus shipping!) just for the Disney label. And I may have siphoned some out to refill my Disney bottles now that many resorts have gone to the wall mounted pumps....

I have a book of them...somewhere. They used to sell this book titled "Disneyland Under Construction" at the Disneyana store on main street.
I hear ya. This has all been extraordinarily difficult, and I often find myself looking at old videos from Disneyland on YouTube to try and lift my spirits. But I'm doing my part to help open the park by staying home and following pandemic guidelines so that the rate of infection slows, even a little. If everyone does their part, we can get that much closer to setting foot onto Main Street USA once again.
In the meantime, if you need to cry, then my advice is just let it out. Cry, hug a plush Mickey, watch Disney+, do what you need to do to vent that sadness and frustration in a way that's not destructive. Personally, I built one of these a while back and that helped a bit. Whatever you find works for you, go for it. Be well and stay safe, and maybe one of us will see you in the park someday!
This CD set is the most recent and comprehensive one I can think of. But it doesn't have anything newer than Cars Land. It still has tons of background music and ride audio from the parks, but more in the form of shorter suites rather than full ride throughs. I recommend it though.
There's some websites that have compiled much of the music from the parks, a lot of which can't be found on any CDs or physical media. www.soundsofdisneyland.com is one of the most popular.
You know I try to keep things somewhat low-key just to keep it easy at security and to keep it easy through the crowds.
I bring a shoulder bag that fits my camera, a few batteries, my 18-55mm lense with hood attachment.
The bag I linked is something similar to what I use. I use one by Altura Photo but I couldn't find it on Amazon.
Is there a lot of difference between that and this?
When I went to Disneyland a couple of years ago, I thought about buying one, but I searched online first. If it's not the same, I understand. The Yoda one is cheaper on Amazon.
If you're a Haunted Mansion nerd, I do recommend it. You can see it on Amazon for what it has, and I really like having it.
The Music Box piece is my alarm clock in the morning. It's fantastic.
I use the app to book fast passes and mobile ordering but just bought these lanyards for $4.50 on amazon to save time and battery life when scanning. Not as long as the lanyards you find in the park and half the price.
I ordered the attraction posters from MainStreetAttractions on Etsy and put them into this frame from Amazon. Really pleased with how they've turned out!
