This is awesome and one of my favorite Lovecraft Stories. Oh, and if you'd like some scans to back up these feats, turns out someone made a manga adaptation of this short story
> Sorry, what do you think he mean when he said "carefully accumulated"? Because he did not say Shuma would absorb his trifally accumulated energies, he said it would absorb the energies he had to absorb carefully, ie, there was something specific there.
The arc is basically built around Sise jumping through time from his specific period and stealing other powerful sources as he jumps backwards? He's just referring to the energies he had painstakingly accumulated.
> He couldn;t attempt to destroy him because that would waist his energies, very specific energies that might not have existed in any other place or time, and would have made it much harder, or even impossible, to achieve his plans.
Note that in destroying an energy source, Sise takes that energy for himself.
> Which proves that Shuma is someone who is easier to seal away than to kill, nothing more.
Or, that this sole being is the one he couldn't.
> Yes, because that was the most efficient way to defeat Shuma. Shuma was easier to put to sleep than to destroy.
No, again, it was the only way to do it without Shuma taking his power for himself.
> None of which motivates Sise to kill Shuma, only to seal him away. Sise never tried to kill Shuma, therefor you can;t say he was unable.
The defintion of the word cannot disagrees.
"Expresses an inability to do something".
> Obviously he could try to kill him, if he threw a rock at Shuma with malicious iintent that would be an attempt. obviosuly, Sise-neg isn;t being 100% literal when he says "I cannot attempt", as anyone can "attempt" anything. he was saying that an attempt to kill Shuma Gorath would be bad, therefor he shouldn;t do attempt to kill him.
Cannot and should not are totally different words.
Udon's just started one, actually.
Jedah (and Lillith) + Gill as the villains. Should be fun.
I use ScreenToGif. You can look at my Wolverine RT, I made all the gifs (with the exception of like 1 or 2 I found online) with it and they are usually pretty smooth when I upload to Imgur/Gfycat.
I've never used another program though, so Idk how it stacks up to others.

I bought Norris J. Lacy's translation of the Vulgate Merlin. It's the only full English translation that I'm aware exists. There is also a really old version that has English footnotes next to the text available on archive.org, but obviously this is less detailed
You can see a few examples of it being used here or here, the more natural translation is definitely high temperature. I appreciate the fan wikis for what they do, but they're definitely questionable at times when it comes to their claims. To this day, Wikizilla still has "Irabushan Beam" listed as one of Dagahra's attacks, despite this (as far as I can tell) not even once being mentioned in Japanese sources

Ok. The Triforce is stated to be omnipotent. (Ok the link is bad. I'll fix it when I get home. It's supposed to go to page 70)
I don't think the SS example holds much weight. If Superman kills some random guy, and then he gets brought back by time travel shenanigans, should we say that Superman isn't able to kill a random dude? The Triforce did exactly what Link wanted. Link just didn't think to wipe out all version of Demise.
As an omnipotent, it should be able to split itself into pieces if it wants to. Nothing says that it can't reunite itself. It's just waiting on someone worthy.
I can't counter that last point because I've never play ALBW. Is the new Triforce ever stated to be as powerful as the original?
It's a fairly good limited series, it only ran for 11 issues before being cancelled, so there plot lines left unresolved, but the overall plot is fairly good. Just note that the Madder Red and the First content takes place in flashbacks, and in the present the comic is more of a crime drama dealing with a group of cops--and Madder Red's brainwashed alter-ego Fillmore--and their attempts to take down various supervillains.
As for where to get it, Amazon has both Volume 1 and 2 for a fairly cheap price, unless you mean "get it" as in "for free" lol.
What did you think of a C'tan shard powering the breath of the gods? The most ridiculous feat.
One can buy Gods of Mars on Amazon and other sites.
