This post seems to confirm most of ViewerAnon's statements asw: https://commaful.com/play/starwarstheory/10-quick-spoilers-for-star-wars-the-last-jedi/
even though some of these spoilers are personally a bit disappointing imo, I've always believed it's how the storyline is put together rather than the plot points themselves. People universally so far say it's good so i'm inclined to believe it. Just enjoy the show folks :x

He didn’t! Vader wasn’t Luke’s father until several drafts into Empire! Lucas PUT a thread into Empire about the other, intending that to be someone Luke would go find in 7-9 but when he decided he wanted to be done with Star Wars while writing RoTJ they looked around and Leia was the only option they had!
I suggest The Secret History of Star Wars for anyone who loves the behind the scenes of making 1-6. It is amazingly well researched and shows you all the different ways the saga could have been different and how much George was always changing it. The audio book is GREAT!

Not sure which issue, but I read it in Marvel's Star Wars Vol. 1 Luke encounters Vader, Luke has no idea what he's doing and Vader mocks him. They both have no idea who the other is.
They literally released a C-3PO action figure that has him carrying the bowcaster so if they took it out of the movie it was probably a last-minute thing.
I always loved reading the scripts that were included with the "Art of Books", and The Phantom Menace scripted was released with storyboard art. I really wish they'd do this with TFA and TLJ.
The "Annotated Screenplays" book for the original trilogy is an epic read too. https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Screenplays-Laurent-Bouzereau/dp/0345409817

This one and Rogue One need a "making of" book like these.
If access was given on that level, we might find out the truth.
4.5 stars and #1 bestseller on Amazon, ain't that good enough for you.
This picture apparently appears in a Japanese book Star Wars: The Force Awakens Complete Guide (スター・ウォーズ/フォースの覚醒 コンプリートガイド). Amazon Japan link. The book was released January 18 2018 so it might have more new stuff.

This find comes courtesy of the folks at the John Williams Fan Forums. Here is the U.S. link.
There was an interview released today with a guy named Mark Graham who supervises the preparation of all the sheet music for John Williams, and he said they're "just finishing up Episode VIII now."
The whole interview is actually pretty awesome! Lots of info and anecdotes about how Williams runs the recording sessions on SW.
The documentary on the Claremont *X-Men* run is great about this. Apparently Claremont and Louise Simonson would just keep a running list of loose threads, and whenever they ran out of plots, they'd just go pull at an old loose thread for a while.
Also, shout out to Nathan Butler's whole From the Star Wars Home Video Library series.
He gets EVERY Star Wars release and goes in depth on all of them. He even wrote a book on the subject!
I know how to figure out what it means. They just used it in such a way that they assumed that people would know what it was and that made me wonder if it's actually common and I've just been ignorant or if this is really a bit of publishing jargon that they assumed everyone knew about.
FYI: Apparently it's a publication not intended for distribution.
It's already listed on Disney Plus
https://www.disneyplus.com/series/star-wars-visions/5AiiTRJ7OaKg

They might do some cool promo with each individual episode listed in the big panel on the main page, but it should be all listed as a single Series on the "Star Wars" category.
You can write fantastic and descriptive without resorting to abuse of grammar.
http://genius.com/George-r-r-martin-a-game-of-thrones-prologue-annotated
on top of that, the awkward mix of 3rd person and first person is jarring.
This is so cool! I'll be buying my tickets thru here!
(and yes, it IS through Fandago for you skeptics out there)
As an example, here's a link to the first in the Thrawn trilogy. A helpful way to know which one you'll be getting is to look by Publish Date. This one states that it was published June 15, 2021 so you know it's the new edition. To find this one I had to click "See all formats and editions" so you may need to do that on a book with so many different printings.
heres one i made. i think its right. i set it till 10am Anaheim time
> Crappy companies like EA force their studios to rush out games in order to be ready for the holidays or some other big money making opportunity
Which is exactly the reason why big budget games exist in the first place - and great games too.
Anyway, I won't tell you what to think. I hope you read at least the first section on OP's document (it's like 3 or 4 pages long). If you feel like it, reading this could also provide great insights to you on how "crappy companies like EA" make AAA titles in big franchises, and how that actually works from an management standpoint - about deadlines, about responsibility, about 'refining the game to be the best it could be', etc.
Yeah, the difference in BB-8's voicing has been pretty apparent. Here's a great clip ripped from the Sphero app of the Celebration and style voice, courtesy of /u/jboob999. Unfortunately it looks like they moved away from this, but I really dug it. I don't like the voice we've been hearing in the new trailers as much. Seems less expressive and less advanced.
Try going through these steps. Once you are set up, click the link in the original post and accept the invitation to join the server. That should do it.
I'm not sure, but I found this a few days ago and was similarly intrigued. It should be noted that this toy is a new mold, as Hasbro has made another Titanium Death Star before that didn't have a physical laser.
New editions are typically recycled content with some new stuff thrown in and a few tweaks. Been that way for many years when it comes to Star Wars reference books.

> Rey's parents left her when she was so young
Actually, the actress for young Rey in TFA was around age 6 at the time of filming. Rey would definitely remember her parents, and what happened to them (just see this account here of what a 6-year-old remembers of her parents divorcing), but like Kylo / Ben told her in TLJ, she's "hidden the memories away" from herself, likely due to her pain and denial.
Google "R2 The Force Awakens" and its the 4th and 8th picture. Heres a link to the fandango website where its on too.
The first one is out next month, and the second in September. Here are the Amazon links:
There was some discussion about this a few days ago (although OP seems to have deleted it).
In short, Amazon did not take it down, its pretty clearly a toddler costume of Kylo Ren that someone screwed up and not PJs (as long as you are talking about the same video I am).
According to Amazon, this is the 'COLLECTING: STAR WARS: GALAXY'S EDGE #1-5' Paperback Cover that's coming out on the 5th of November.

From Amazon -- a new Screencomix book for a "new Disney Plus series". This could be anything, naturally.
the A-Wing in the shot is a Resistance A-Wing, not a Rebel one - they have different markings and silhouette.
So this scene couldn't be happening in the OT era, nor on Jakku.
Obscure book updates:

So if you're interested in checking out some of this stuff, especially that new mode, you can snag it for a ridiculously low price.
Kevin Smith, despite being the ultimate fanboy, is one of those sources who are incredibly tricky to read. He was loud about his love of Episodes I, II, and III, so as for the quality of the films, we can't extrapolate much from him.
But in terms of details, he has actually added a lot: >"I saw uniforms, I saw artillery that I haven't seen since I was a kid. I saw them shooting an actual sequence in a set that is real -- I walked across the set, there were explosions -- and it looked like a shot right out of an f--ing Star Wars movie," he said. > >The site reports that Smith also got a tour of 'Stage M,' where he was able to check out the full scale Millennium Falcon both inside and out. > >"[Abrams is] building a tactile world, a world you can touch. And he's replicating it with all the love of somebody that has the world's greatest collection of Star Wars figures."
From IGN.
So, this seems to support some of the whispers that have come out about the plot so far. He's vague with mentions of uniforms in the above quote, but that probably does mean Stormtroopers or Imperials of some sort (while the Rebel Alliance certainly had uniforms, they were not as iconic or celebrated as the ones worn by the Galactic Empire, of course). They aren't uniforms worn by a "New Republic," since he hasn't seen them "since he was a kid."
New Star Wars children's learning type book [I suspect], called "Star Wars Our Awesome Planet: Explore the Earth with Rey, Han, Chewy, and Finn! (Padawan-Pedia, 2)"
Not too noteworthy, but I can't help but flash back to that 2004 comic where Han Solo and Chewy end up in the Pacific Northwest, Han dies, and Indiana Jones finds Han's corpse years later.
Just a random note--the first of the Andor shirts have dropped on Amazon.
It's only a logo shirt, so don't get too excited, but it's the first official Andor clothing swag I've seen so far.

I’ve been trying to figure out for a few days if this is a Star Wars book or not. Codename is a little odd. u/Dentface any thoughts?
All of the existing Visual Dictionaries use images of props and promo shoots from the films—hence the “visual” part. Since that doesn’t exist for a novel/comic book-only setting (for now), this is more likely to be like the more recent Secrets of the Sith or the Essential Guide books with a lot of illustrations.
> the KoR do not use lightsabers from what we've seen.
We only saw them in one shot in TFA. But we know they are very likely the Jedi students he took with him, as Luke says. And at least one KOR had a lightsaber on his belt in the TFA art book. Look at the one on the right: https://tinyurl.com/yawv6g9p

I really like the Wall-e meets R2 voicing from code.org and the Sphero app. I prefer it over the sounds from the latest teasers. But whatever voice they use we'll get used to quickly.
EDIT: Here's a great clip ripped from the Sphero app of the Celebration and Code.org style voice, courtesy of /u/jboob999
That stuff is nigh useless.

"The Main Part"... Shouldn't you be referring to the legitimate stuff AROUND the info listed by MSW? Also, about that...

Usually, when said "hot scoop" from a bookseller site is legit, it doesn't try to list the publisher as an author. I would also believe that such an important book, being a lead up to one of the more anticipated sequels ever, would actually be listed IN THE SAME SUBJECT CATEGORY, which it isn't. This "listing" suggests sloppy marketing, which Disney doesn't do.
Thumbs up on the effort, though.
Hey here's some interesting responses to the same conundrum:
was Leia ever referred to as a Princess after Alderaan had been destroyed?
Soundtrack has been leaked. https://thepiratebay.org/torrent/35180418/Star_Wars_The_Rise_of_Skywalker_OST_Soundtrack
Imperial remnants might be involved in TBOBF? I found TBOBF merch that has TIE fighters on it. Or maybe it indicates we'll see flashbacks of Boba working with the Empire? I'm not entirely sure, it could be they decided to just add TIE fighter art to show Boba's past Imperial connections. Thoughts?

This doesn't really count as a leak, but I can give you a hand.
I believe you are referring to Adywan's Star Wars: Revisited project. ANH and ESB are complete and he's working on RotJ now.
Alternatively, you may be talking about Harmy's Despecialized Edition, which are HD restorations to the unaltered theatrical versions of the films.
That's not surprising you probably have never heard of a thesaurus before being a person that definitely doesn't get paid to write anything for anyone seeing how you don't know this. Here you go dum dum What a nub you are.
Edit: BTW if you are so inclined to pick up a dictionary it is in there as well as a synonym. Sound good Precious?
Sounds like you don't know much about LEGO toys. They use different names for vehicles all the time.
Example: Republic Gunship. The actual canon name is Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry often shortened to LAAT/i or LAAT. But the kid's toy goes by a simpler name.
So where's the controversy about almost every other LEGO toy also naming ships something else? This is just fans overreacting because of the name Slave I when LEGO toys have literally always done this.
Wow, wasn't expecting this. It's very similar to the new armor set for the "Holoshield Trooper" that they just added to the Old Republic MMO.

Helmet is almost identical, chest piece also has the smaller pauldrons.
Check The Gallery: Mandalorian documentary, episode 8 "Connections." They start talking about him at approximately 20 minutes in, including the on-the-set decision to make it specifically R5-D4 and paint the bad motivator burn marks.
You get to learn something new, today...lucky!

It’s real, there’s a story on the SW website and someone found the secret listing last week:
First ever original Star Wars manga Edge of Balance releasing 1st volume in June! Much sooner than I thought. Amazon preorder link is here https://www.amazon.com/dp/197472588X/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=the+edge+of+balance&qid=1610299151&sprefix=the+edge+of+balance&sr=8-2
It’s being released in English. Link to the first part.
Same goes for the Lost Stars & Leia: Princess Alderaan manga’s, the former being released already in three parts.
They’re from concept art I think. You can see those mandos on other merch: Star Wars The Mandalorian Helmet Box Up T-Shirt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082G2RPQJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_szgVFb99CD7D6
Or they were in episode 3 of season 1 and we just didn’t notice/got cut from the episode.
On Amazon today, a Mandalorian costume was referred to as "Mario".
I don't recommend free VPNs as they could be logging your activity and will have more information than any non-trustworthy company should have.
Mozilla VPN is pretty cost effective at $5 per month, IVPN often has annual deals, and ExpressVPN probably has promo codes out there for discounts since they sponsor a ton of content creators.
On top of that, most people are reporting that you can't even access Disney+ with a VPN, myself included.
Download any VPN that offers a New Zealand server. Most of these are paid, so I deadass just paid $13 to get Betternet VPN Premium on my phone. Connected to the New Zealand server and opened Disney Plus and was able to just watch it there.
Find comes courtesy of the folks at the John Williams Fan Forums. Here's the U.S. pre-order link which the subreddit did not allow me to post:
The meeting is shown in Star Wars # 2. Here is the link for the digital purchase of the first volume.
In a few weeks, the first hardcover volume will be out, which contains the first 12 issues. That's the way I like to read them, but you can also get the shorter paperback volumes more often, or read each issue as it comes out on Comixology.
We will eventually get something like that, time will come for a journalist to write something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Secret-History-Star-Wars/dp/0978465237 detailing the early years of the Star Wars Disney era.
And I'll quote Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: What is quality? I watch the movies and enjoy the absurdity and spacescapes that the prequel era has brought. To me, the feeling it gives me defines it as quality. To you, fitting in with a definition of movies by someone you deem qualified defines your quality. And yes, it is your opinion just like everyone else on here. Undue importance on oneself can also affect their definition of quality.
Amazon and Penguin Randomhouse both say it's out March 6, 2018
There was some discussion about this yesterday (although OP seems to have deleted it).
In short, Amazon did not take it down, its pretty clearly a toddler costume of Kylo Ren that someone screwed up the listing on and Mike Zeroh isn't a reliable source of information at all.
Whether or not Anakin will turn up in TLJ is still up for debate. We don't have any solid information to support or refute that idea.

I recommend it for simply being a good read, but the guy really did his research on the origins of the original trilogy.
Yeah, has to do with what toy company has merchandising rights in each country. Hasbro gets the US, and Bandai gets Japan.
Price will be heavily driven by demand. The model kits are usually cheap ($20-30), but the figures go for quite a bit more. Your standard Luke Skywalker goes for about 50, while TR8R is almost 100.
I am a huge fan of the Empire comic that focused completely on the story of Biggs that occurs between the time that Biggs joins the academy and comes back to Tatooine to tell Luke how he joined the rebellion...wonder if any of that plot will be used? http://www.amazon.com/Darklighter-Star-Wars-Empire-Vol/dp/1569719756
Remember when Lego leaked the arctic Batman suit? http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Heroes-Arctic-Batman-Freeze/dp/B00A88EPCI
I really doubt this toy is going to spoil a major plot point of Episode VIII
I got all of them on amazon with no issue. Looks like he is still up bro. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SD8I40O Unfortunetly the storm trooper isn't available atm; it's 7:20am EST. Good luck thou. :/

The negative thoughts you have about yourself are not real! You can beat this. I've been dealing with mild depression for a long time and only really realized it within the past few months. Your life is worth living and there are people that care deeply about you that would be devastated if you were not around. It's easy to fall into the trap of believing the things your brain tells you, but believe me, they are not real and you can change them!
the rest should be in related search on the bottom...also it seems you can only get the black squadron xwing in this set: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SOFZNBO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
I remember reading a book that combined the screenplay with the storyboards, which I remember getting for my birthday (March 1999), two months before the movie was released. I have no idea how long this publication had been available, but it was the story of the whole movie from start to finish, the dialogue, the directions, the artwork. It gave away the whole story. So weird to think that they'd do that with a Star Wars movie, given the secrecy surrounding this new one.
Edit: this is the book, and it looks like it was published only a couple of weeks before the movie's release. I guess it must have felt longer back then.
I live in New Zealand, and it is not available here. HOWEVER, I managed to get it working on my phone (Android). I clicked this link here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.disney.starwarshub_goo Then told it to install onto my device. Even though on Google Play on my phone told me it wasn't available, it installed itself no problem, and now I have it working.
