multiple emails and/or burnermail.io
eg I dont use the same email for linked in as anywhere else to make sure linked in can cross reference my to other services by my email adress

A password manager will also be a good thing. More for security but really should be common practice today

Verify you email(s) against haveibeenpwned.com to see if you have any breached accounts
Hey there - I'm sorry you're feeling so much anxiety and confusion about this situation. Doing the right thing is incredibly difficult and daunting.
If you want you can use https://burnermail.io/ to hide your email and personal details and it will forward responses (confirmations etc) to whatever email you choose. If you get it to forward to a Proton Mail account and use a VPN (I'm pretty sure both the Brave and Firefox browsers have free VPN trials and they are safe to use) and you will be as anonymised as you possibly can be.
An unexpected bonus is that you may find it cathartic to actually write out the fraud and create a really well formed argument. I know when I reported something in a different life many years ago it got a lot of negativity out and helped me let go.
Good luck mate, you're doing the right thing and I'm sending internet hugs for support.
Renting or even buying a domain for a year would be much cheaper than contracting any company - I am sure many offer services similar to what you're looking for or would do that for you, of course doing your own would mean your management overhead will rise, even buying 3-4 dozen domains for a year would not be that expensive.
burnermail.io and similar solutions allow you to do something similar with your own domains - which simplifies management in my opinion.
Guy I posted a single message with no swears or anything, lie a totally bland informational message.

their site is absolutely fucking stupid.

Anyhow, go to burnermail.io and sign up, it's free, you can generate burner emails so instead of waiting for stocktwits to un ban you, just make a new acct and get on with your life.
Then like, never post a comment cause somehow that is insta ban.
> Every fucking website uses email for authentication, and it's so fucking hard to have an anonymous email address nowadays. And it's impossible to have many anonymous email addresses.
How about a paid service like https://burnermail.io?
it depends on the email provider.
You have to acces you email account anyway to check in and verifiy your email account so creating an new account is just 1-2 mins extra.
after that you dont use the email account again really so not hassle there
burnermail.io is good as well but for just short use email name. it will forwarded up to 5 email address to your email. you can delete these emails address at will and create new ones.
we are talking a few mins added to a normal registering process.
I don't consider it a hassle but it up to you to decided how much investment you want to put into it
Well, I do use my own domain with Protonmail.
For the majority of stuff I do, I use a custom domain on https://burnermail.io/, too. I just set up a different email address for whatever I sign up for, and if I get a hint of spam, it's turned off or deleted.
I keep important stuff on the domains where I have direct control over the DNS records, as well. That way I can change the MX records to point someplace else if any of the services goes under.
What you don't understand is that YOU WILL have to change them eventually, because companies like Spotify sell your data and/or they get hacked, so maybe not right now, but in the future you could start recieving spam on the address you ONLY gave to Spotify, or the one you ONLY gave to Netflix, or whatever.
Whitelisting when you are using "catch all" is not possible.

> That way someone can still type a bogus email at my domain e.g. [email protected] and I would receive that message (which I obviously want it to not)
This situation is not impossible, but very improbable, spammers use automated databases that they get from companies that sell your data or from hackers, nobody knows you are using "catch all", most people don't, so they don't try that, they would get thousands of bounced mail.
Maybe you are interested in a "middle-man" service like this (not open source though):
I've never heard of BurnerMail.io. I should try it out. The concept is similar, but instead of e-mail accounts, it's debit cards that are tied to your real debit card. Unfortunately it does not work with credit cards.
As for signing up, I do not remember if a captcha is required, but I would assume so. Either way, I do not see why that would be a problem unless you are trying to do mass account creation, which is pointless.
Problem with 33mail and burnermail.io is that they are not open source, and they admit they collect data from users with their websites, addons, etc. If I use Tutanota, private email service, and then I put another service in the middle that collect my data, emails, etc., what's the point of using Tutanota? I could use Gmail or Hotmail and wouldn't make much of a difference.
I emailed burnermail and they said they are planning to open source the software in the future, and make their addon more privacy friendly, but they are focused on other things right now.
I use Burnermail.io and have subscribed to it yearly. I find it quite a convenient way to use an email addresss without disclosing my real one. I have had no issues with Burnermail, and am not aware of any security issues with the company to date.
I'm not sure I would recommend using it for an email address contact in association with your bank, but that's your call. Usually there is a trust relationship with a bank of your choice, and you normally give them genuine information...because that's where you put your hard earned money.
When you visit the site to review any information, please be aware that there are tag-alongs as follows: burnermail.io∗
analytics.burnermail.io cloudflare.com cdnjs.cloudflare.com freshchat.com wchat.freshchat.com fullstory.com typekit.net use.typekit.net
So, in Umatrix you can actively block everything but burnermail.io and still review the site.
Burner emails (https://burnermail.io) offer another level of privacy but in a different way. Used to be most web savvy users had a "burner gmail account". If you are de-googling, then a burner gmail isn't an option.
The problem with that is that it's one company, and they "may" collect a ton of data on you. See their privacy policy.
I have used Bloody Vikings! that allows you to use many temporary email address sites (and even open's up that account in a new tab) so nothing gets forwarded to you.
