What is Reddit's opinion of Cisco AnyConnect?

CiscoAnyConnect as far i know connects you remotely from any computer it's installed on to any private internal network ( like your work) if you give it the adress and permissions IF that IT network authorizes anyconnect. I have heard people call it a "VPN" but really dont think it's the same network protocol.

It does get affected if on a VPN that could be configured to not allow P2P traffic.
