If you want to use a gui instead of command line, install ClamTK after you install Clam

Some will say 'Linux viruses are rare, you don't need Ant-Virus'. I believe this is nieve, first, the more Linux is used, the more attention it will get from bad actors, and second, you likely will be handling files that may be also used on others' Windows and Apple devices, having an Anti Virus will help stop the spread and protect family and friends.
You can install the newest version from source or add the official repository to your system and install it that way.
Using the repository would make updating it easier.
