SuperCell made big changes to Clan Games. It was announced on October 14th and came into effect during the October clan games. This is the second iteration of clan games since the change.

At town hall 11 you can have the quake spell and the Haste spell maxed out
At town hall 12, You can max out Freeze, Rage, Lightning, Bat spell, Witch, and Goblin
At town hall 13 you max everything but Dragon, Balloon, E-Drag, Barbarian, Archer, Valkyrie, Wall breaker, Healer, Baby Dragon, Minion, and Ice golem

- Fix for crash on launch affecting some Sony devices
- Game crashing when taking the boat to visit another player
- Builder Base Wall costs being shown wrong in upgrade suggestions
- Battle Machine animations getting stuck during attack
- Other smaller visual and UI bugs
Version number is 11.446.15 (most likely already already available on GooglePlay, will be released on iOS App Store and Amazon soon).
As usual, be sure to update to the latest app version for the best Clashing experience.

If that statement from Supercell's "Season Challenges Q&A" was true, the upgrade in this video (Witch to level 2) should've finished immediately upon activating the 20% boost - reducing the research time by roughly 7h.
upgrade time without boost: 6d
upgrade time with 15% boost: 5.1d (5d 2h 24m)
upgrade time with 20% boost: 4.8d (4d 19h 12m).
But, as you can see, it was not applied to an upgrade already in progress. The upgrade will still take 5.1d, equalling the 15% boost, while according to the Q&A it should take 4.8d.
Reducing research time only at the start, not at the end of a research, takes a lot of value from these boosts and was not clarified in the Q&A. /u/darian_coc

It takes no resources to reload them. All you have to do is log into the game and they are reloaded for free.

And It's just my personal opinion but I wouldn't recommend Klaus Gaming to a new player. A lot of stuff he says is as if he's living in 2016 and can misguide a new player about things like rushing, war weight etc.

We're supposed to be getting the boost even for stuff already in progress. I had multiple 2 week upgrades and research I just started in the last day or two. Would be crazy to not get the boost for half the season because of that.
The FAQs posted today on the Clash of Clans blog indirectly confirmed that it will affect speed in the last question:

Looking back at previous patches, there's at least two patches with just bug fixes for every one patch with something more in the patch notes.

I don't think they know what the word 'fixed' means.

I checked out their blog post for the June update and it just said "The amount of damage done per lightning strike has been increased with a total of 6 per level."

So the theory is that by using a burner account and burner clan, you don't expose your main clan to this risk. You use burner accounts to set up the burner clan, then bring in an account to replicate the base you want to attack. It's the most obvious way to work around the problem

The Season Bank is a mechanic that resembles a piggy bank - it magically fills as you gain loot from Multiplayer battles! Every time you raid a Village, the loot earned will be deposited to your Resource Storages as usual - but an equal amount will also appear (as if by magic) in your Season Bank. When the Season is over the loot obtained in your Season Bank goes into your storages overflowing if there isn’t enough capacity. My clan used to be super active, but after some people left were down to a few (active) strong players. About 15 of us all compete in clan games, clan wars, and most of us are not rushed. I am sorry to inform have a terrible clan name that a fiend of mine made. It’s “the buds.” I wish I could change clan names.
