What is Reddit's opinion of Cosmic JS?

Great article. We built the current version of our website using the WP REST API. I'm currently in the process of doing a rebuild rebuilding using Next.js too - let me know what you think: Proper Noun

I recently came across Cosmic.js while doing some research for a client project and was thinking about giving this a shot. Have you used any truly headless CMS before that you enjoyed?

Have you looked into restful cms'? You can write the front-end and just query the api for the content in javascript. It might be a bit of a learning curve, though, depending on your knowledge of javascript.

I recommend Prismic.io, Contentful and CosmicJs for hosted solutions. You can structure your schemas however you like and it has a neat interface for editing content.

I have used cosmicjs as an alternative to WP and was very impressed with the simplicity of the UI, creates easy to consume REST apis from your content.

"Why should I choose you over Firebase?"

Firebase is a platform for developers to store data, not user-friendly for non-devs. Cosmic JS is a platform to store your data AND content to be edited by a non-developer. Cosmic JS has what we call the Cosmic Stack which allows you two possibilities: 1.Host just your content on Cosmic JS connecting to your app using your own hosting provider. 2.Host your content in Cosmic JS and deploy your application to the Cosmic App Server. This is actually the users in the Cosmic JS CMS, not the users of your app.
