I assume it will be similar to the first Defense Grid which had maps with various levels of mazing possibilities. Take a look here for images of every map in the base campaign. Most of them allow for a wide range of configurations and paths even though they are not just one big empty grid. You really should consider playing it if you haven't, it's one of the best commercial TD games available.
VR Tower Defense!! Hell yes.
Also looked on their site and it seems you can even control this game with the Oculus Remote in addition to the gamepad:

Defense Technica is a rip-off of Defense Grid, and DG2 is coming to Linux.
> perché c'è solo quello.
C'e' soprattutto quello.
Most of my faves here are already listed, save one:
I am not a fan of tower defense usually. This is a game I have reinstalled over and over and over again. I have spent THOUSANDS of hours playing it. The storyline is good, the writing is hilarious at times, and the replay value is absolutely through the roof. Seriously, not many games have locked me in this hard - I've been playing it repeatedly for 6 years. Fun as hell.
