Actually he did. It took the use of this tool and a few minutes of rather intense confusion, but by God, he did indeed make things right.
Yeah, I looked again and even looked at the comparison /u/Neznamy made here. Maybe I'm still missing something but it seems like a pretty small patch considering the length of time it took and the jump from .37 to .42. Definitely when you consider people were expecting the physics to be added (actually active), persistent backpacks, and a few other major things that have been talked about so much recently.
There's a website called Diff Now that I use.
Keep a backup of all your current xml files. When the patch downloads, you can load both files there and see what they changed vs what's in your custom files so you can modify your values while still getting all the neat things they add in.
Comparing it to the authentic uncracked version of gta force 2.5.1 with this website, there are only 28 differences and these changes only removed code, nothing was added. Also had someone test it and they claim it works and they don't get deranked. Also the only file that was modified was gtaforce25.asi, the other .asi file and the .dll files are the exact same as the uncracked version.
Looks like this version is authentic, grab it while you can.
I fixed it, you can compare the two versions here. Your html markup was a bit messed up, some tags were missing closings and your body was missing its start. The fake logo thing was also messing up some of the centering.
I added some css to fix it, and also fixed the markup.
Here's a comparison between our code, and the fixed code:

and the code: http://pastebin.com/8cDJrQyh
I didn't copy them over. It looks like the only differences between the two sets are minor things like christmas messages and bedrock flatness. I can't see anything relating to recipes. http://www.diffnow.com/?report=9t76s
