FYI we use Etar ( https://github.com/Etar-Group/Etar-Calendar ) so if someone implements it there it'll eventually land in LineageOS.
Yeah the Google Calendar doesn't have source code available anywhere so we cannot be certain if it's safe to use. If you are willing to go another step and use other calendar apps I would recommend Etar which is a fork of the AOSP calendar and seems to be in active development.

Why not take 2-3 seconds to also type the app's name?
That's the LineageOS stock Calendar app.
Why what are you syncing it?
See the README.md in https://github.com/LineageOS/android_packages_apps_Etar and also in https://github.com/Etar-Group/Etar-Calendar and it's Issues tab.
No LG app will work on a Samsung without the LG app being "ported" to work on other devices from other manufacturers. The LG apps are designed to only work on LG devices....
Try Etar
It'll be kept up to date.
We use LineageOS's version of Etar which has changes to make it work in AOSP.
We also contributed a major API change to Etar upstream directly (and also LineageOS), which will show up in all their builds, and thus also the next CalyxOS build.
Don't use it, it full of bug, really, when you will want to sync, it will be a mess to fix.

The best option (better than simple calendar) is Etar Calendar : https://github.com/Etar-Group/Etar-Calendar
Do you code? If so, why don't you make one?
Anyways a quick search for open source calendar app Android GitHub reveals various repos for calendar apps such as this one: https://github.com/Etar-Group/Etar-Calendar
I requested the Developer here and also through his eMail, but noReply.
I then edited the post to remove the Theme issues as it is not the app but the Android_System which controls the Theme, if the Application follows the SystemUI or framework-res, which i conclude because of Streamlined UX of this Application.
Hello, I wanted to request you to forward a message to LOS Team as I'm unable to find any place to tell them(if possible you can tell me any platform where i can reach them):
There is an Application named Etar_Calendar which might be a perfect Replacement for AOSP_Calendar in LOS as it is Licensed under GPL v3 which i think is Compatible with Apache v2 as far as this Wikipedia Article Says and i understand: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_License#Compatibility
Further: https://www.apache.org/licenses/GPL-compatibility.html
Etar Calendar: https://github.com/Etar-Group/Etar-Calendar
Thank you
