Would I be able to access that using a VPN? Is that the best way for me to watch it living in Scotland? I want to watch this but it's hard to find it haha
Edit: https://fastestvpn.com/blog/one-championship-live-stream/
UPNP is terrible in implementation and worse for security. Disable UPNP on your router. Doesn't matter if clients have it enabled, if it's disabled on your router, it can't be used. UPNP attempts to setup port forwards for you. Think about that for a moment. Allowing devices or software to configure the firewall of your router. Bad bad bad. See r/qnap if you want to see what can happen. Log into your router and set the port forward yourself. If this is beyond your ability to do, perhaps you shouldn't be farming chia to begin with as port forwards are at the very basic level of networking skill.
Here is an article I briefly skimmed. This sums it up well enough:
Υπαρχει το fastest vpn που δε το ξερει ουτε η μανα του αλλα εχει οκ ταχυτητες γοα streaming και επισης μπορεις να βρεις lifetime offer συνηθως. Αυτο εχω εγω.
by "streamed locally", they mean that it was viwed within the local network.
I think the Sun got that part wrong, because they are talking about UPnP (https://fastestvpn.com/blog/what-is-upnp/ for a good ELI5).
UPnP was what the defense was hanging their hat on. "We didn't do this. Someone compromised our router and installed Ubuntu on his machine!"
That's not how that works. If it was a dedicated Linux machine, or Linux was the default boot option, then MAYBE - and that's a HUGE maybe. His computer had Windows as the default, but he accessed Tor via Linux. This means that whomever accessed Tor had to physically be there to select Linux at startup. UpNP IS insecure, but not relevant to this case.
I am also having disconnecting issues since the first free upgrade last Dec 2020-Jan 2021 then bumped into this thread a while ago. Yung recommended solution dito ay VPN. Immediately searched for FastestVPN and they are offering LIFETIME subscription for $20 talaga.
Here is the link because it took me so time to find it:

Then use code bfcm21 to make it at $18.
So far so good naman and tried streaming. May paminsan na nagyeyellow ang connection sa OBS pero hindi na kagaya dati na pulado talaga. As long as fluid yung stream, Ok na yun.

I feel like everyone and their mother has a VPN product these days. On their website they indicate there is indeed a trial period that you can test it out on. From the reviews of the VPN that I briefly looked at, it seems like it's an OK VPN but not the best by any means. I would at very least do the trial before purchasing a "lifetime" subscription - even for $15.
In my opinion, with VPNs you get what you pay for. Which is why free VPNs are about as useless as an ad blocker that has ads in it. They have to make money somehow. If you are serious about buying a VPN, I would do as much research as possible and really understand what you are looking for in a VPN and why.
I'm not saying that the most expensive VPN is the best automatically, but the better VPNs do charge a decent amount more. Because they have more features and more servers. For me, speed in downloading is the biggest thing for me in a VPN. If it makes my download speeds significantly slower, I don't want it. And from what I am reading this VPN is pretty meh on speeds. Despite their name. Just my two cents.

I only use this for torrenting and it works well for $5 and have used it once a week for about 6months. Still not stable when compared to Windscribe, but they have been adding servers and some servers may get removed, but no problem I use about 4 of their US Servers all work great for torrenting, qbittorent + BIND to VPN adaper is a must for this one as I said sometimes connection drops (it may auto-reconnect or you have to reconnect manually)
Can't really complain for one time fee of $5
here one for you good for downloading dealing with lag when gaming
ive never used a vpn before but this is really good even on a wireless connection....

Oppose NetNeutrality as much as possible but they will implement it. The only way to defeat them and make them revert thier decision is use of VPN service as much as possible. https://fastestvpn.com/
