The book description is pretty funny too. "Jinger has always been a fan favorite, and now she and her husband Jeremy are the breakout stars of the show's sequel, Counting On." I really have a bone to pick with the term "breakout stars" but sure, Jan. Sure.

The stories can be interpreted as representing a lot of mormon beliefs. At its most basic, we follow the story of a young girl who is 'converted' in order to attain eternal life. There's plenty more too:
Don't worry, I didn't realize Jehovah's Witnesses were a cult until I watched the episode on them of A&E's "Cults and Extreme Belief". (Free to watch if you're a Prime member.) Now I feel so sorry for the people that knock on my door on Saturday mornings.
True Story: Corrie Ten Boom came to Houston for speaking engagements. When she came she stayed with my grandparents in Friendswood TX. My grandmother returned from an errand to find Corrie and my PapaPete playing chess.
Corrie told my grandfather: “You’re a devilish old man.”
He responded “well you’re a wicked old woman!”
My grandmother just about had a heart attack.

I have a fantasy that Kendra will go rouge and leave the cult and write a book similar to Deborah Feldman’s Unorthodox . Similar to Deborah, Kendra’s basically a teen mom, invested in the cult from both sides (raised in it and married into it), and appears seemingly happy about it. Something about her smiles and giddy personality makes me think she’s just gonna crack one day.
Introducing... the pasta bowl. Works as a plate and bowl. Soup and sandwich? Pasta or beans with bread? Don't dirty 2 dishes. Set the sandwich or bread on the rim. Get them from a restaurant supply store and they will survive toddlers. No paper plates needed.
I really do feel for them on their wedding nights. From virginal property of their father to sexually free joyfully available property of their husband in a matter of hours. If we start a book club, we should add the book ‘Pure’ to the list. Link: https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Inside-Evangelical-Movement-Generation/dp/1501124811 It’s written by an ex-fundie woman and focuses on her experience/research of purity culture and the trauma it causes women. I need a tell-all of uncensored wedding night & the real details of the sexual dysfunction that MUST be going on.
“I love how, in the new book, you consistently emphasize training before the need to discipline arises and speak so often about how parents MUST be involved before they can properly apply the rod.”
Training before discipline is needed? WTAF?! There is an excerpt in one of the reviews where they hit a 4 MONTH OLD BABY on bare legs with a sprig from a willow tree so that she wouldn’t crawl up the stairs 😤. HAVE YOU HEARD OF BABY GATES?! I can’t even.
One time I read a book about what its like to write in Hollywood, it was called The Billion Dollar Kiss The author wrote for Dawsons Creek and they were having trouble making the show go after like the second season, the producers kept wanting to have the main guy James Van der Veek make out with Michelle Williams who later went on to be inn Manchester by the Sea.
The writers wanted Dawson and Joey (Katie Holmes) to get together, which they eventually did and the kiss they had led to great interest in the story and eventually Dawson's Creek became a billion dollar franchise. But the writers had to pretty much strike against Michelle Williams and the producers. I'll never forget one guy standing up and yelling (about Michelle Williams) MAN FUCK THAT CHIPMUNKED CHEEK CUNT!
All that to say Kendras got some major chipmunk cheeks
I worked in bakeries and high end restaurants for many years.
If you are piping icing onto a cupcake, chose a piping tip that isn't a circle. Choose really any other shape and you won't have a poo emoji atop your dessert. I love the Wilton 2D with the prongs pried open a bit.
For practice, I recommend baking a few cupcakes and let them sit out and dry for a few days. Make up a basic butter cream and practice on the cupcake, scraping it off and doing it over and over again.
Same. I also studied deviant behavior (especially related to sexuality in college wrote lots of papers on how the internet would impact human sexuality and redefine our taboos). I'm not a callous or terrible person, but I know quite a bit about a lot of cases. This one, GSK/EARONS, BTK and the cases covered in Killer Across the Table are the ones that really, really bother me.
Oh man, I was recently reading a book about genetics and pregnancy and motherhood (https://smile.amazon.com/Mom-Genes-Science-Maternal-Instinct/dp/150119285X?sa-no-redirect=1) and the changes being pregnant one time has on a woman's brain are nuts, I can't imagine what it's like after however many times Michelle's done it!
I have four daughters, yes! I teach college myself (not my full time job but I wish) so you better believe I push education. My oldest is 17 and already has enough college credits to be a Sophomore, she loves learning so much. Last week she got her ACT score back and got a 32 so I think that will get her into most colleges. Unfortunately some of her choices are the extreme Christian ones that hate gay people so I wont support those but we will see what happens. My second daughter doesn’t care for school as much but who knows what will happen, yes though I push education a lot. I let them know that girls have brains in their head and shoes on their feet and they can change the world. The littler girls at night I read a book called Daring Girls and I tell them stories of great women who have done so much with their lives.

Their beloved senior minister Dr. Ronnie Floyd is a total creep homophobe who wrote the book, The Gay Agenda:
>The Gay Agenda: It’s Dividing the Family, the Church, and a Nation is a bold defense of traditional marriage and the authority of Scripture relating to these controversial issues both in the Church and in families across the nation. As same-sex “unions” and court challenges to the bans on these unions sweep the country, reasoned voices from the Church are needed. Now, one has emerged to expose the agenda that the homosexual lobby is trying to impose on society.

It looks like hooktube might have operated that way at some point, but doesn't anymore: https://hooktube.com/changelog
Assuming I'm interpreting the line about "hooktube is now effectively just a lightweight version of youtube and useless to the 90% of you primarily concerned with giving google data..." correctly, we might want to find a new alternative, as it does sound like she'll still be getting credit for clicks.
I agree with almost all of what you said, but couldn't disagree more with your last sentence. The closest I can get is by saying "so long as he remains a Fundy he's got no hope of changing. Otherwise, that's not how addiction works neurologically, nor is addiction part of one's "core personality". Fundies don't understand it and it certainly can't be "prayed away", but you're missing the mark by making the same assumptions about human nature.
The book "In The Realm Of Hungry Ghosts" by Gabor Matè is, perhaps the single best resource on understanding the causes of addiction, the neurological effect of it, and how to treat it (all through an empathic lens). Addiction is a maladaptive response to trauma, a means of disassociating from that trauma that is (ironically) itself traumatic. This doesn't excuse the behavior of addicts; they still are autonomous people and are responsible for their behavior; but it does explain why they sought their addiction and offers hope at recovery through the healing and reintegration of that terribly wounded part of themselves they've been seeking to escape.
I'm doing a poor job of adequately explaining it, but hopefully it makes some sense.

This book of church history discusses how “universalism” (the idea that everyone is saved) was the original doctrine of the Christian church and how Hell and eternal punishment came into the Christian religion.
This book discusses why Hell is a mistranslation that was falsely inserted into the Bible.
Enjoy!
It works like a dream and doesn't seem to get super hot as it has a padded layer at the top.
I plan on buying this one at some point.
It's not the cushion that makes it a woman's saddle so much as it's the shape. This one is a lot like my saddle. Vagina and penis havers straight up have different bones down there. The pubic arch is at a very different angle so it makes sense that the width and slope of saddles would need to be different. Then there's the soft tissue. If you look at the saddle I linked, there's a hole in it. That's basically for your labia because otherwise you start to go painfully numb after a while. Penis people just kind of need to tuck themselves somewhere they won't get pinched or tugged
Edit to add: In my experience, penis people don't tend to have as much trouble with vagina havers' saddles unless it's one of the saddles with the holes in them.
Edit again: They have trouble with the holes in some women's saddles for testicle reasons
Aka: the most salty at even having to ask. I really dislike that guy. “The Gift of Fear” red flags everywhere
Hope that works. It's the Canadian amazon but it shows the pen :)
The Amazon book description says this:
>In Becoming Free Indeed, Jinger shares how in her early twenties, a new family member—a brother-in-law who didn't grow up in the same tight-knit conservative circle as Jinger—caused her to examine her beliefs. He was committed to the Bible, but he didn't believe many of the things Jinger had always assumed were true. His influence, along with the help of a pastor named Jeremy Vuolo, caused Jinger to see that her life was built on rules, not God's Word.
There was a lot of speculation when the book description first appeared about which brother-in-law it was.
Oh, thank you for the context - I was really confused by their rhetoric…
Yes! The author left Hillsong about 20 years ago and is an activist shining the light on abuse inside the church now. She also wrote this book: https://www.amazon.com/People-Glass-Houses-Tanya-Levin/dp/1863957421
Not sure. Based on the episode summaries, it looks like they mostly focus on the American branch and Carl Lentz. But the third episode is about Brian Houston and him squelching allegations of abuse. Don't know if that addresses his father.

When you search for this "author" on Google, you have to be sure to put it in quotes and when it tries to correct the last name to "HEUghan" you have to tell it no, stick to the way I typed it.
Then you get more Amazon "biography" results such as this one -
https://www.amazon.com/Prince-Harry-Book-Biography-ebook/dp/B0BKWWPPGV
"Dan Hueghan returns with a captivating biography of one of history's most remarkable men, Prince Harry." [a bunch of crap was here, and then it ends with:] "This book is a story about the life of a man who is changing the world the way no one else can."
The cover is identical to the one about Jinger except with a different picture and book name of course, and it has four ratings of one star lol.
Remember that scraped-from-the-sticky-floor-of-the-Internet "biography" that someone found? It's been given a new author name, an updated cover, and some weird-ass edits. It's also no longer available on Kindle Unlimited, so you'll have to be content with the free sample.
Here is a section from the earlier edition (immortalized in the earlier Reddit post):
>Jinger grew up with responsibilities that were given to her that the family referred to as "jurisdictions," as most kids do. The washing room was one of Jinger's areas of responsibility as of 2008.
>
>Jinger's responsibilities as of 2011 included doing the washing, dressing the little girls, and making lunch. Jinger was in charge of the washing room as of 2014. After she started dating, Jinger was no longer required to maintain her virginity.
And here are those same two paragraphs in the current edition:
>Like other children, Jinger grew up with duties assigned to her that the family referred to as "jurisdictions." As of 2008, Jinger had a duty for the laundry room.
>
>As of 2011, Jinger was in charge of doing the laundry, dressing the small girls, and preparing lunch. As of 2014, Jinger was in charge of the laundry room. Jinger was no longer necessary to keep her virginity when she began dating.
I think it is safe to say that little has improved.

Well, you can still buy this book.
Example:
>There are women doctors, and any woman who can pass the medical course is permitted to be a doctor; yet how few men will call a woman doctor! How few businessmen on a board of directors would elect a woman as general manager of a big company. How few men would hire a women boss over other men. The truth is that men know that which is so plain in all nature, that God did not intend a woman to be in authority over men. It is unnatural and inefficient. Then do you wonder that in the modern sissyfied churches the average he-man will have no part? (Pg 65)
I don’t know about undercover, but here’s a book that been on my to-read list for awhile:

What is more common now is to have everyone wear the same color [and usually also length] but different folks can choose different styles to fit their body types/needs. My sister biught dresses all the same color for her wedding that were basically a skirt attached to two long pieces of fabric that could be tied and or draped to create different looks for the top while being the same dress. Here is an example of what I mean But again, some women a fine with totally different dresses to accommodate bridesmaids with different body types.
Ok so the original "Today sponge" of Seinfeld fame I used for years but now is unavailable due to issues with their factory equipment. I found an Israeli company making a similar product and actually like it better. It's basically just a sponge with spermicide so it acts as a barrier as well as depositing spermicide to the area. Easy to use, non hormonal... Less effective by the data than other methods but the trade-off is acceptable to me.
It’s an EU issue, not an outside-the-US issue.
It’s because the EU introduced GDPR a few years ago, requiring sites to disclose how they track our data.
Everyone with a website had to put up a little “accept cookies” pop up because of it. I own a few sites and had to do it myself.
Most small town papers in the US refused to adapt, so they make their sites inaccessible to the EU. Even the LA Times held out for a shockingly long time before eventually adapting.

Yeah, slouching on purpose unfortunately can lead to back pain. there’s a “brace” kind of thing that helps to fix posture, and it really helps relieve back, shoulder and neck pain. I'm reading a book right now called Invisible Child about a girl, who is now an adult, growing up in extreme poverty/homelessness/abuse in NYC. It was based on a NY Times series and is so beautifully written. It jumps from present day, to family history, to US history, to future moments.

I think the Sun got that part wrong, because they are talking about UPnP (https://fastestvpn.com/blog/what-is-upnp/ for a good ELI5).
UPnP was what the defense was hanging their hat on. "We didn't do this. Someone compromised our router and installed Ubuntu on his machine!"
That's not how that works. If it was a dedicated Linux machine, or Linux was the default boot option, then MAYBE - and that's a HUGE maybe. His computer had Windows as the default, but he accessed Tor via Linux. This means that whomever accessed Tor had to physically be there to select Linux at startup. UpNP IS insecure, but not relevant to this case.
It's not one of these versions? I actually remember seeing some reporting that the defense was going to make some kind of issue about the version of utorrent on his computer being too recent to be accurate.
It seems like an appropriate time to provide the link to this corn . My husband sent me this link because he found it amusing. Jana should get herself a camouflage stealth dildo and store it in her greenhouse to be forever unfound by her culty parents.

I'm doubtful a VPN would've helped him. The anonymity Tor gives is a lot stronger than a VPN; there's a reason the US military uses Tor and not NordVPN.
Had he stuck to using Tor he likely would've gotten away with it. But the idiot either didn't realize torrents don't use Tor (despite having "tor" in the name), that his torrent client didn't support Tor and would silently fail and use a normal network connection or forgot to proxy his torrent through Tor.

Sooo, my mom's cat she's had since I was a teenager (and I'm getting into my mid 30s now) died this past week, on a day I was working around 13 hours for dance concert... I was wearing the pigmented primer from this set with this eye shadow and just some liquid Nyx liner. I was astounded and very glad given the circumstances.
It's literally this, or something so close as to be indistinguishable.
Not to burst your bubble, but I don’t think you understand how gross court “experts” can be.

I'm not sure why they're so expensive on Amazon, but they're still absolutely worth trying.

Are you sure about that? If the ad appeared before or during the video, that has nothing to do with the YouTuber and everything to do with your own browsing habits.
If it was an affiliate promotion (I myself promote ExpressVPN on my own website), they’re not promoting them.
But if ExpressVPN specifically sponsored the video and the YouTuber is saying that they sponsored them — then they did.
(Speaking as a blogger, I get people always asking me, “Why are you being sponsored by Subway/Mercedes/Michael’s?” Because those ads are tailored to your browsing habits.)
I have some lovely glass mister/spray bottles for oil and vinegar.
A light spray of vinegar, before you grind some nice pink Himalayan salt on makes for delicious chips.
Lolol no way, they haaaate ol James. He's not a supporter of Sola Fides, faith alone, which is the whole Calvinist deal. They kind of treat that book with kid gloves.
If you are interested in some ideas in early Christianity that these mfs hate, might I suggest this book:
