Edit: WTF guys, stop running automated scripts on my website, you'll force me to enable rate limiting on it.
Edit2: Thanks http://imgur.com/a/Zg3Js
lol, i was confused because I didn't recognize the text of your title, but the link is purple as fuck Bleddyn_
I'm glad to see your enthusiasm though. here's a tip: https://filepursuit.com
search for anything and you'll find a lot of these domains yo
Guys, be careful. Here is a comment from /r/piracy about this guy:
It's you again... I don't think some of us forgot about your cryptic (i.e. shady) usage policy, let alone the comments you made and deleted here on /r/piracy during the previous month when trying to advertise your website.
Not only that, but you've been doing the same to spam /r/opendirectories as well with a lot of your submissions in trying to claim that you found this great site and/or creating misrepresenting titles about your website and then commenting in to talk more about your website as if you were a regular visitor of the said site.
You've done a masterful job at hiding and deleting a lot of your comments in the past which included blanket statements of how you collect analytics just like every other site does... this is not not transparency - this is misleading at best.

previous reference comment of mine about this (notice all of the deleted comments which were all by /u/azharxes ) :
https://filepursuit.com/search/windows+10+ltsb/
This searches FTP servers that host files. I did a search for windows 10 LTSB. Make sure to do the MD5 check sum. Though I have never had any issues randomly downloading one.
I'm a big fan of https://filepursuit.com/

This isn't a p2p torrent thing, this just scans available files on public areas of servers.

"FilePursuit provides a very powerful file indexing and search service allowing you to find a file among millions of files located on web servers. Our database is updated daily by our robots that crawl through free access internet resources.
FilePursuit hosts no content, we provide only access to already available files in a same way Google and other search engines do.
The main goal of FilePursuit is to provide users with a user-friendly interface making searches easier with lightning speed. We do our best to establish a new standard for sites and lead the whole community of netizens into a new era."
yup, that's kind of a legal gray zone. i see that you have a dmca page, so i think you should be fine... but you never know^^
a few things as feedback: i think, the site is generally well built, the design could be a bit better.
specifically the main actions should be clearer. the submit button is one of your main actions, but it's kind of hidden next to the other menu items. make it more prominent.
the search is only available on the home page and you have to click the logo to get to that, if you're on another page. you could add the search to the navigation aswell. also, your search has an autocompletion/suggestion feature, but it's not clear, if it's loading or didn't find anything.
you could merge files together by searching for similar names. example:
Witches of East End => [S02E12, S02E13, ...] => [720p, 480p]
just imho. others might see it differently
Most of the others i know are just google frontends (think palined, FileChef & friends). I believe FilePursuit to be the most similar.
If i had to guess, I'd say people on this sub are mostly using google.
Sorry, don't develop a desktop app for this but maybe in the future if everything goes well, I sure would love to :)
I do have a website. You can visit the website (here)[https://filepursuit.com].
So your question is, what tools are there for discovering open directories? Here are a couple I use. The 2nd one only finds open FTP servers.
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users. I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!
Here is link number 1 - Previous text "t"

I tried to maintain a collection of links some years ago but broken links defeat the idea. Even torrents die unless some seeders keep them alive. Which is why I download documentaries offline if and when I can.
Tell you what... Search for "MVGroup" on tpb via tor... or search the title on filepursuit.com like so.
It's search engine where links are given by people all over the globe. Amazing website with almost all the file links which can be available on internet.
If you own the movie in another format anyway, it's probably not illegal to download it in another format. If you don't want to mess with the pirate bay and whatnot, there is filepursuit
Actually I do! https://filepursuit.com/
It is something similar, but it's a tad more complicated than the classic streaming site. Its a index search engine. If you dont know, index websites look something like this. Simply, it's not a "real" website, but rather a file server that is open to public and you can download the files that are on the server.
Now usually, you will have to look through alot of index websites to find something good and you'll have to use some weird google search-terms, it's basically digital trashdiving. With this website you can just search for something and select a file format and voila, you'll have some nice files to download.
I use this if I need some mp3s or a quick ep of a tv show I'm watching, quality is usually ok. Obvious drawbacks are server-speed and you dont know what your getting, might get malware. Other than that it's pretty cool and sometimes you'll find like a nice server with tons of interesting content. For example I have found servers where it had a TON of 1-2 year old movies in 1080p with nice server speeds, you goddamn sure I downloaded everything. It's basically data hoarding and pretty fun if ya have some time to look around. Oh, and theres a subreddit: r/opendirectories
Direct download (use a downloader like MiPony or JDownloader or it will interrupt part-way through)
